Fancy Hot Dog Shops Are Invading Houston - Eater Houston
"The first brick-and-mortar location of a Bay Area hot dog truck that made its Houston debut on June 29. Like Crave, this shop is also known for its barbecue prowess." - Amy McCarthy
The staff are so polite! The food is very good. They did have a father's day section which I thought was so cute. The margaritas are great too. The music was a good volume, I could still hear my conversation. The waiter gave us some recommendations and their best sellers. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Been waiting awhile for this place to open in the old El Habanero spot. To be honest if they changed much inside besides the name I couldn't tell. That's not a bad thing. The menu is large, probably a little too large LOL, but good thing is you can also order things Ala Cart. None of the food was bad but nothing I ate made me think I couldn't get it just as good from another place. I would give this place 4.5 stars but of course here on Google that's not an option. I judge every Tex-Mex place first and foremost from the beef enchiladas, they are good and better than a lot of places. Unfortunately there is another new place less than a mile away that makes them better. But no doubt we will be back here. Have many more things I need to try.

They just recently opened. The place is nice and bright. We were promptly greeted and seated. They took our drink order and got us menus. Chips eith small queso was complimentary.
We ordered teas and guacamole (thick), which we got clarity on. It is similar to a fresh table side quac but made in the kitchen.
We ordered their lunch fajitas, chicken and beef. The food came out quickly and was all fresh and good. Good serving sizes. The meat was tender and well prepared.
We didn't get to try dessert, but we know we will be back. Noce to have a new place close to our house with good food and affordable prices again.

Went to Maria’s today for our first time, the fajitas were delicious, the margaritas were fantastic and the service was very friendly, the only negative I have is that they should clean their window sills, dead flies and dust, other than that we had an excellent experience and will return!

I ordered the ceviche - it was amazing. There was a lot of shrimp in there. I heard the cheese enchiladas were great. I also loved the guacamole salad - chunky is the only way to go in my opinion.

We were the only ones there, and it took 30 min. to get our food. Kids nuggets were dry and burn. Tortilla soup flavor was not there. The only thing good was the tacos.

Our first visit to this great Mexican restaurant and it won't be our last visit. It is so nice to have a great restaurant so close to home. The wait staff are very friendly and best of all the food was delicious!!! I ordered the de creme chicken enchiladas, and my husband ordered the taco el carbon (beef fajitas).

My husband and I are first time customers here. We ate dinner on a Saturday night and decided to come back the next day and try their breakfast. The food is authentic and delicious. Portion sizes are great, and hot sauces are excellent! Friendly and prompt service and very clean. This a hidden gym and we will be back!

Yelp
We have been here several times and always the chilaquiles are fresh tasty full of flavor!! Service is great staff is super friendly and attentive always providing suggestions or following to the T how we order our food. Customer service is great.. ambiance is totally chill nice they have live music on fridays now which is great we definitely recommend it the only but I have is the coffee of the olla it doesn't taste like coffee at all I guess it depends who makes it and what they put in it that can sure use a remake recipe. But the food is delicious

Yelp
Margaritas are good and the salsa is warm! They always accommodate my vegan requirements and I appreciate the effort!

Yelp
Service is a no frills, no smiles, just sit n order on this day. Music is country which is surprising but ok i guess. The place looks clean, but picked up a strange smell upon walking in. Restrooms very clean, nice. Good size restaurant, not crowded. Food is good. Enchiladas are pretty good actually better than I expected. Fajita is nothing to boast about, same as everywhere else.

Yelp
A completely overpriced place for the quality of the food. The guacamole tasted like rotten mashed avocado, no lime or salt. The fajita had a weird taste and the chicken looked and tasted weird as well. Very disappointed. Never coming back.

Yelp
Great food and drinks, I would definitely go back when I'm in the area. The margaritas were great right along with the burrito I ordered.

Yelp

Yelp
Nearby location was primary reason for first and only visit. Food was pedestrian and not worth price for small portions. Surcharge for using credit card was final straw.
