Where Comedian Atsuko Okatsuka Loves to Eat and Drink in LA | Eater LA
"As a kid in West LA, Marie Callender’s felt like the other option to McDonald’s — in my head it was either McDonald’s or ‘fine dining’ like Marie Callender’s right next door." - Cathy Chaplin
Been coming to this Marie Calendar’s for a while and it has never disappointed me! This is the first time I write a review. If you come you must try their corn bread, it’s the best corn bread I have ever had! All their food is great but my favorite is the Turkey Dinner! The gravy and stuffing are so delicious and to pair them with mashed potatoes and vegetables... well oh my! And do not forget the cranberry sauce!!! It’s literally Thanksgiving all over again every time I have the Turkey Dinner. Our waitress today was very friendly and professional and very welcoming. The place was clean and organized! Was very pleased with this visit and most definitely we will be back again!!! Almost forgot...DESSERT... fresh delicious pies! Had to save room for dessert and had an Apple Pie a la Mode 😋

Small breakfast menu with various selections. The waitress was very attentive and patient, so we could browse the menu. Most items were $20 per plate. A side of bacon is $7.49 for four strips. Inflation and thievery continue to show in CA prices. Nice venue with bathrooms inside and free parking.
This location also offers private dining for large parties.

Revelation Apostolic church had a brother's meeting on the second floor. We not only eat some wonderful food. We had some spiritual food as well. It's hard for men to ask for help from other men. We are too macho. But the meeting here today was amazing. I found out I wasn't the only person going through something and praying to the Lord to help me get by. But this restaurant was amazing clean and we had the greatest person assisting us. It was a young lady. We were there from 11-3. You know who you are thank you.

Stopped here for lunch one day. It's located in the cut. ( small corner) Close to Crab Shack. You can tell that this restaurant has been here a while and needs a super update! Walked in and was greeted and seated. The waitress was very nice and gave great service. I ordered the Roast beef sandwich with gravy instead of the dipping sauce that originally came with it, and some French Fries. The food was good and priced fairly. The bathrooms also need some work. Other than the remodeling everything else was good. The key lime pie was delicious and nice size portions

Very disappointing experience. Restaurant is very old and in need of desperate remodling. They have cut down greatly on their menu items and very pricy. They potato cheese soup was very blah and running and not very hot. Seemed like it was made with instant mashed potatoes. The turkey dinner was the best thing there. Huge portions od potatoes and dressing. The corn bread was very good and moist with lots if honey butter. Overall. I proboly would not go back again.

In need of a slice of pie or a whole pie? This is the place to go. I enjoy their pies. Their service is hit & miss. Our slices of pie are not packaged with care and look a slight mess when opened. It's probably best to eat it there at the restaurant.
