"Bread lovers will want to beeline it to MarieBette open for breakfast, brunch, and lunch with tasty baguette sandwiches plus French-style pastries, like the innovative prezzant salted, a pretzel-croissant hybrid and the banana sourdough, a sweet loaf with roasted bananas, apricot glaze and a touch of coconut." - Stephanie Ganz, Tim Ebner

Everything from here is fantastic. I've visited many times. This time I tasted both my go-to everything bagel seasoned pastry pretzel and a seasonal king cake. The king cake had an almond that was so light and balanced and wasn't overly sweet. It was perfect. Highly recommend!

Stopped for breakfast at this bakery because of the reviews and enjoyed everything we got! We arrived around 10 on a Friday. There are a few areas for outdoor seating and a small area inside for seating, as such, they were full and there was an hour wait for seating. We had time so we waited and it went much faster than expected. You order at the counter and get a number for your table. It is self-seating and no reservations. There's a separate nearby station which has silverware, condiments, and self-serve water. We ordered a London Fog, Latte, Almond Croissant, Parfait, Sharondale, and "Madame" (with an egg) Croquet Monsieur. Will definitely visit again if in Charlottesville! Pics via @nokesidefoodie

Very charming french bakery styled cafe with plenty of drink and food options. Their atmosphere is very relaxing even during their busy hours, which is unexpected but pleasantly refreshing. Their staff are very kind and understanding and we were welcomed with smiles and cheery attitude even though it was hectic. I highly recommend anyone in the area come and try this location for good food and relaxing experiences.

I came for a quick pickup before work. I’m here from out of town and love a good bakery/coffee shop. The staff were so kind and friendly, and the other customers seemed the same! The space was extremely cute and looked like a good place to work from or hang out in. I ordered 3 mini caneles, a pecan pull apart, and an iced latte. The pastries were 5/5, no question about it. However, the iced latte was really bad. I’d personally rate it 1/5 if I’m not allowed to choose 0. I had three sips and had to throw it out. The espresso tasted really burnt and didn’t really complement the milk. I’d definitely come back here, but I’d skip any espresso beverages personally.

Such an adorable gem in the heart of Charlottesville! This place was heavily recommended by seemingly every UVA student / alum on earth, so I just had to make a pit stop when I drove through town on my way to a week-long hiking trip. I came by on a late Sunday morning just after 11 AM; their brunch service was in full swing so there wasn't a ton of open seating, and they had already run through most of their most popular selections. However, I managed to snag a gorgeous five-grain batard loaf for a week of sandwiches and, at the barista's recommendation, a peach financier to fuel me through the next leg of my road trip. The financier was delightful -- slightly crumbly, but also rich and buttery, with a wonderful peachy flavor. It was the perfect late afternoon pick-me-up and a great pair to my almond milk latte. The slightly tart peach was a wonderful way to celebrate the end of summer flavors, and it helped to balance out the sugar in the rest of the pastry. I didn't enjoy the batard loaf immediately, but it was the perfect hearty, flavorsome bread to build my sandwiches on throughout the week after long days of hiking and climbing. It had a slightly nutty bite from all the seeds, and it kept up surprisingly well throughout the week. I only really noticed it starting to get a smidge stale around day 3 -- if you aren't wandering around the wilderness, I'm sure freezing it would be a great way to preserve its day-one freshness. Beyond the delightful food, the servers / baristas were all super friendly! They offered a remarkably warm welcome, were super helpful in choosing the best pastries / sandwich loafs, and generally helped to craft a lovely atmosphere. I can't wait to stop by MarieBette again on my next road trip!

Google
I live in richmond but love to drive every few months to get a box of pastries. There is a little bit of a wait but it is so worth it. The pastries here are out of this world! The staff is always super helpful and friendly. The caneles are my absolute favorite. I wish they would open in richmond! Keep up the great work making these delicious treats!

Google
Fantastic and quality bakery and Cafe. The coffee and mocha was awesome, actually has a distinct taste rather than other places with bland coffee. The sourdough bread on the BLT was fantastic, as well as the sausage egg and cheese croissant, flaky, buttery and soft. My only complaints could be the flies indoors there were many with no pest control, and for $9 I would imagine I'd get enough sausage for my sandwich not a single link cut in half.

Google
We went to this little French bakery at the recommendation of our Airbnb host while staying in Charlottesville VA. The baguette was fresh and delicious. We had open faced egg sandwiches with fresh veggies and light fluffy eggs. The place was extremely busy and noisy, but the food was great!

Yelp
Absolutely one of the best bakeries I've been to and will be my go-to spot whenever I'm in Charlottesville. My personal favorite is the Chocolate Almond Croissant. Also a fan of the Pecan Bun and the Caneles. Not only do they have great pastries, but also some delicious breakfast sandwiches. Both the cold brew and americano were great. Plenty of street parking in the area. They get very busy on the weekends. I'm not sure what it's like during the week. Lines form outside near the ramp. They have plenty of indoor seating, with some outside.

Teagan R.

Yelp
I went mid-Friday morning with a group of 4, and it was quite busy. But it gave us time to figure out what to order. The space is pretty small with only 8 or so tables inside. They have a wide variety of sandwiches and pastries. I got the Croque Madame (added an egg) and it was yummy (8/10). The egg was cooked perfectly and I only wish that the bread was toasted to add more texture to the sandwich. Two of my friends got the Jorgenson and they really enjoyed it -- especially the amount of salmon for the price. My other friend for the Albemrale and she thought it was great as well! We shared a pecan-sticky bun that was delicious (10/10)!! We went back to buy another to find that they were all sold out, so I recommend getting there early to get the sandwich/pastry you want! I also tried to palmier and it was very flakey and yummy. I definitely want to come back to try the other food options and more pastries!

Jim L.

Yelp
The place is very pretty and has some outdoor seatings. It has one of the best pan au chocolate! As you can see the air bubbles and layers of lamination is clearly visible! I would definitely come back for more

Meghan K.

Yelp
We stopped here on the way to Tennessee and it was the perfect pick me up for the long drive ahead of us. We visited at 815 on a Monday morning and this place was BUSY. They were very efficient and kept the line moving so the wait wasn't awful. I had an iced mocha and it was great, not too sweet. The only negative was the cup for the hot coffee started to disintegrate where the lid goes so the lid wouldn't stay on after about 20 minutes.

Alyssa A.

Yelp
An incredible cafe to stop either for a nice breakfast, a pastry, or a quick coffee. We came here for a quick bite with friends, and we were so impressed with all the options they offered here - food and drink. They have so many different bakery items to pick from for a quick pastry fix as well as prepared breakfast dishes. The Country Ham Hash was so delicious - perfect poached egg, crispy bacon and potatoes all topped with garlic and crisp Parmesan. Perfect!! Their baked goods are also delightful - the almond croissant was so flavorful and light, and one of the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever had. Great drinks - loved my mocha. Great start to the day. Parking can be rough, and the cafe can get super busy. You order at the counter, and someone will bring your food to the table. When it's busy, it can sometimes be hard to find a table. A great stop for your daily coffee fix or a breakfast out with friends.

Yelp
I was so excited to go to this bakery as my time in town would be short. Not sure if I ordered the wrong items, but their taste fell short. Those cupcakes are definitely good to look at. So pretty, but I wish they taste as good. The frosting is sooo sweet, and the cake has a baking powder taste. I also got a croissant, which is what I always get at a buy at a bakery. It was also ok and it was small. Worth a try, but probably skip the next time in town.

Lincoln T.

Yelp
From the name to the decor, I expected MarieBette's to be a very fancy and expensive cafe. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the menu and the very fair prices. For breakfast, I had the buttermilk pancakes, a coffee, a mini canelé and the sausages. The pancakes were exceptionally light and fluffy, making them very easy to eat. The sausages were flavorful and very tender. The coffee was good, and had a little more flavor than most. The late I tried was very smooth, and had a sweet element to it that was very welcome. A canelé is a small French pastry-esque dish with a hard exterior and soft custard interior, very difficult to make perfectly. The one I tried today was excellent, with good flavor and texture, and was the perfect end to my breakfast. MarieBette's has excellent food and good coffee, for a very fair price!

Yelp
After hearing people rave about this place, we finally decided to give it a try. We were super excited, but it ended up being a total letdown. We got croque monsieurs/madams which, as you may know, are typically sandwiches- however for some reason are made with just one piece of bread here which feels like a total ripoff. They tasted fine, but it's half the food you're expecting to get. Additionally, I ordered an iced mocha because that's usually a safe bet, but it tasted like dishwater and had a bunch of weird murky chunks in it. We got a pastry as well which was pretty good but not amazing. My advice: stick to Coucou rachou!

Cole M.

Yelp
The coffee mind blowingl good. Have to try the chocolate croissant. You can tell these people know what they're doing in the bakery

Michele R.

Yelp
I really would have liked to given this establishment a better review. But here is how this goes. We live over an hour away from MarieBette. We read great things about it on Facebook and the menu looked really good. So we made a special trip there this afternoon to have lunch. Right before we left the house, I called to ask what time they close. The girl said 5 pm. So we got there at 2:05 pm. I asked to see the lunch menu because there was none sitting out anywhere. The girl at the bakery told me the kitchen closed at 2pm!!!!!! I told her that I specifically called to ask what time they closed and we live over an hour away. I get it...I asked what time they closed...but do you think the girl could've said, "Well, our kitchen closes at 2 but we close at 5". No one wants to go the slightly extra step. We will not return. Too many other places out there who have wonderful customer service and common sense.

Yelp
My best friend who went to UVA took me here. She used to come here pre-pandemic to do her homework. They have closed most of the indoor seating now, but there are a few seats inside and outside. ***LOCATION*** The location we visited was in a part of Charlottesville I don't come to often. We sat outside and there wasn't a lot of foot traffic, but a few cars passing every now and then. ***EXPERIENCE*** We came on a weekend morning and it was busy. Thankfully we beat a crowd and got to order relatively quickly. I told my best friend to order everything for us, as long as we got a pain au chocolat. I really enjoyed the pain au chocolat. Buttery and flakey is always what you want in a croissant. She ordered us mini canelé which had a nice crunch. They felt like popcorn in the sense where you can't just have one. We shared their croque madame which was so tasty. It was open faced too. I found my café au lait to be fine. ***PRICE*** Pastries and drinks run from $2.50-$4. The croque madame was $10.50. The highest prices here are cakes or pies. The next highest prices are breads and lunch items. ***BATHROOM*** Two single stalls are available in the back. They're kept clean and have little heaters to keep them warm. ***CONCLUSION*** It was a cute spot to meet a friend. We had to sit outside because there was no seating inside. I'm happy to have checked this place out.

Yelp
The cake is delicious and soft, the fragrance is perfect for my Friday, it helps cheer me up

Elizabeth W.

Yelp
Service was good and patio was nice if you have a dog. The quiche was very average-needs a new recipe. I was surprised that they use ham instead of bacon in Quiche Lorraine. I usually love quiche but was disappointed in this one. Breakfast sandwich was good. Sticky bun was average. Latte was very good. Hot chocolate was good. I would go back and try something else.

Charity W.

Yelp
I stopped by just to grab some bakery items to take home. But I had no idea how delicious the items would taste once I got back home. Next time I will definitely order more bakery items to take back home to friends & family. This place is definitely an authentic french patisserie. They also have coffee drinks & breakfast/lunch items for sit down eating. The service was quick, however the first guy that helped to bag my bakery items didn't seem the most friendliest & seemed pretty impatient at the fact I had questions on what to order & didn't know how to pronounce some of the bakery items. Another guy stepped in & was a lot friendlier! Just based off the taste of the items I ordered, I will definitely be back the next time I visit Charlottesville.

Elda G.

Yelp
So glad we stopped here for breakfast during our stay in Charlottesville! The staff was super friendly and ran the perfect ship while they heredes dozens of people through as they ordered their pastries or meals. We shagged a table while nubby ordered. My toddler was pretty happy with the pastries. No pics because those were inhaled upon arrival. But trust me, they were to die for! Comfy ambiance with spacious seating. I'd suggest arriving early. You'll still wait a bit in line, but I assure it worth it!

Chat C.

Yelp
As I roll up to this place for the fifth time since moving here 1.5 years ago, it has been consistently good. The quality is definitely good for their pastries. I have ordered a croque monsieur because I have not had one in ages. It's open faced and not a full sandwich, that's trying too hard to be "fancy" when the fancy is already in the name. Was it good? 100% it was, but it wasn't a sandwich and that's where they went wrong. I'd rather have the egg on top of a full sandwich, whether it's a Monsieur or Madame. Otherwise, the chocolate almond croissant and pain au chocolat are freakin delicious and never fails to disappoint. Bottom line: in my opinion, a croque monsieur/madame should be a closed sandwich rather than an open faced one with an egg to separate its differences by. The price to quality ratio is vastly contrasting. Otherwise, I still will spend lots of money on the pasties and coffee there despite how pricey it is

Daniel F.

Yelp
This is an excellent bakery. Highly recommend it. Had really high hopes for this place. And the breads did not disappoint. We had the pretzel croissant, croissant breakfast sandwhich, baguettes, quiche, late, and pineapple pastry. They key with this place is knowing what to get. The bakery items are amazing. Everything else was a little disappointing. The coffee was a little burned and had fair bit of coffee grounds floating in the late. The quiche was a little watery. This place is absolutely worth visiting. But stick with baked good. They are something special.

Echo L.

Yelp
I had brunch, pastries and bread from MarieBette and I have had both delightful and underwhelming experiences. The Banana Sourdough Bread is, without a doubt, a standout gem. The delightful combination of banana chunks and coconut flakes creates a match made in bakery heaven. The crust of the sourdough adds a satisfying twist, making it a cut above the typical sweet banana bread. Among pastries, Prezzant undoubtedly stole my heart with its brilliant combination of pretzel and croissant. Everything seasoning with chunky curst and flaky layers--it's absolutely my favorite! The Financier, an almond flour tea cake, had a pleasant texture and taste, but the sweetness was a little bit overpowering for my liking. The Kouigns, unfortunately, didn't meet expectations. Lacking the flaky layers, it felt staled and hard to chew, and the excessive sweetness left me yearning for a more balanced flavor profile. One highlight of the menu was the French Toast with its innovative banana cream cheese filling. While I admire the creativity, the combination didn't resonate with my taste buds. Also, considering the fact that you'll have to find a parking, wait for more than 10 mins to order(especially on weekends), you'll have to keep an eye on open tables... Though the bakery has its sweet hits, the misses left me questioning the overrated hype surrounding it (maybe it's just me having a high standard)

Andrea H.

Yelp
We stopped in here for lunch, and it was a great choice. We had vegetable quiche, flourless chocolate cake, tea, and cappuccino. The quiche was delicious, with seasonal vegetables. The cake was great and was similar to a giant brownie. There were two of us, and there were leftovers of the cake. We sat outside, and there was comfortable seating with umbrellas. The service was quick and friendly. I'd gladly visit this place again!

Danny J.

Yelp
My wife and I always try to stop by MarieBette when we visit Charlottesville. We stopped by Saturday morning for a quick bite before heading to the wineries. The building is small and there is tables inside and outside but during breakfast times it seems to fill up pretty quick. You may even have to park along the street. The service is always friendly and helpful. They have other food items besides baked goods as well. We always like trying different breads and pastries. This time we got an almond croissant, banana sourdough bread and an ice coffee. The almond croissant was crispy and soft at the same time, but the banana sour dough was surprisingly delicious. I think it is definitely worth a stop to check out!

Mary F.

Yelp
Cute place with great coffee & pastries. I ordered two poached eggs, only got one. 15 minutes later, got a cold one. Limited indoor seating. Seemed popular as it was crowded.

Kristen S.

Yelp
Cute little place. I just stopped in on my way back to Richmond and grabbed a red eye and a chocolate croissant. The red eye woke me up for the long travel day and the croissant was good. They have plenty of pastry options and it's a small place with limited parking so keep that in mind. If in the area I would return.

Lou C.

Yelp
A nice little shop with classic French patisserie choices, such as Brioche Feuilletée, Caneles, Pain au Chocolat, Palmieres and Financiers. The line gets very long, so prepare for a wait to order. They have dine-in as well, with salad and sandwich options. Definitely worth a stop!

J David H.

Yelp
Let's cut to the chase. This is the best bakery I've ever been to and I do love my baked goods. Mariebette Cafe is no hidden gem among townies, expect lines. My visit with the family consisted of a variety of items such as pancakes, side of bacon, croissants, muffins, breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Everything was scrumptious and my chocolate mocha was gorgeous! The exceptional service matched the yummy bakery items. The space was immaculate including the restroom. It's a small business and they do sell out. Parking is in their own compact lot. They offer outdoor dining. Keep in mind prices tilt up, so review their menu prior. Did I already mention this is the best bakery I've ever been to?

Shaye A.

Yelp
Great breakfast stop in Charlottesville! Delicious chocolate almond croissant, strong coffee, and the most amazing lemon ricotta pancakes I've ever had! Only a few tables but tables outside when it's nice out.

Sweta P.

Yelp
delicious bakery in charlottsville for a casual breakfast. Great place for a sandwich and pastry. Long line but moves fast. Had a french baguette with caramelized onions, cheese and eggs and it was perfect. Next time, want to try their quiche.

Nicholas P.

Yelp
Stopped by here for breakfast before flying back home. The cafe is on the corner with street parking all around it. There was little to no wait to order around 10am. There were people eating, chatting, and doing work spaced throughout the sitting area. It wasn't too loud at all which was nice. We ordered some pastries to go, but for eating in, I got a latte and had the Croque Madame and breakfast sandwich on a baguette. All of the food was delicious! The Croque madame was on sourdough bread that was lightly toasted. The ham and Gruyère were really good and the egg was fried perfectly! The breakfast sandwich was tasty with fluffy eggs and I opted for cheddar on this one, which was awesome! We will definitely be back next time we are in Charlottesville!

Emily B.

Yelp
Mariebette is consistently amazing! Everything feels very fresh and their eggs are cooked to perfection. I love their sandwiches and their apple tarts is a staple. The service is great and the food is served very quickly so we're never waiting. I also love the owners and workers vibes. Hot chocolate month in February is a must!!!

Joe S.

Yelp
Yum. Fresh pastries and good coffee... chocolate and almond croissant was delicious, gooey and crunchy all at the same time, as it should be; apple galette was fresh and tasty; sticky bun a bit dense but still good. Staff is warm and attentive.

T.D. M.

Yelp
Outstanding croissants! Best breakfast in Charlottesville The croissants are fantastic

Lennore R.

Yelp
Tiny and cramped customer space with a giant kitchen/bakery area guarantees 5 out of 5 stars, delicious baked goods. Service is quick and organized depending on how people order. The display definitely boasts of a selection with great products that look yummy and fair for the price. I see there is a way to order online and simply pick-up your order; if you're a local or short on time in the duration you're here, this is the way. The french baguette has an amazing outer crunch and a soft, chewy dough. This is the best chocolate chip cookie I have ever enjoyed from a bakery in USA. I feel like back in the day, Panera was competitive; however, this bakery blows all bakery chocolate chip cookies out of the competition. The coffee is espresso forward. The line is worth it if you can swing by. Ogle at the display; if you're unsure of what to get, just order it anyways. Bring a friend and enjoy the bakery spoils!

Sarah W.

Yelp
Walking into MarieBette on a rainy day, I wasn't just met with the comforting aroma of freshly baked French pastries, but also the warmth and exceptional service of Jason. Despite the bakery bustling with activity, Jason went out of his way to recommend the crème de la crème of their offerings. His genuine kindness and attention to detail made my friend Kristina and me feel truly at home. In a world that often feels so rushed, it's rare to find someone who takes a moment to make your day special. Thank you, Jason, for turning a gloomy day into a memorable experience. Every bite tasted even better thanks to the heart behind the counter.

Randi S.

Yelp
Their hot chocolate and pastries are really tasty. I haven't tried their breads or cakes yet. It gets really busy though.

Josephine N.

Yelp
After an early visit to the hospital, my husband and I decided to have breakfast at Marie Bette. We hadn't been there in ages. It was a disappointment. Our poached eggs came with a cracker-sized piece of bread. When we asked for more, it took 20 minutes to arrive and cost an additional $4.50. By then, our eggs were cold. We were surprised that we had to wait in line to order and then grab a table. Our server was sour and rude. I am handicapped and walk with a cane with great difficulty. The steep stairs and the manner of ordering would have been impossible, had I been alone. The food is good enough and we've bought nice bakery goods there in the past, but it is not a pleasant restaurant. My husband and I decided that it is not a restaurant for grown ups.

Amy C.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. Stopped in while in town for an event and it did not disappoint.

Rebecca F.

Yelp
Review from 2017. Came here early in the morning on a Sun with some friends since they make there baked good fresh. They have plenty of based options. I got their chocolate croissant (see pic). It was still warm and definitely tasted crispy, fresh compared a croissant you can buy at a regular store that has been just sitting around. Parking is pretty limited though. Overall: a good fresh bakery, a bit on the pricey side for my taste

Anushka M.

Yelp
Needed to grab some coffee while road tripping and tried MarieBette. When we came there was a bit of a line so it seems popular. They have a variety of baked goods and pastries available, and a smaller coffee menu. I did wish they had more drink options, but I got their iced mocha. I also tried their sticky pecan roll which luckily just got restocked and seemed to be fresh from the oven. It was really good! There's limited seating, so it seems like more of a grab n go style place. Staff is very friendly and there's some street parking outside.

Natasha V.

Yelp
This place has won my entire families heart. We love the pastries, the food and the coffee. I can't say enough in this review about the quality and thé authenticity. I have been to a France and I approve of their food, it's real French food. I am pretty sure I heard the owner was from France or lived there. Again, get ready for your tastebuds to go crazy. I don't know of anything I anything but perfect! I'd you are passing through Charlottesville go there, but make sure they are open when you arrive. I believe they close late afternoon. Afterwards you can stroll around the beautiful outside red brick road, the outside Mall Area. It's not a real mall with chain stores but quaint little shops which many are French inspired. Go now!

Jack L.

Yelp
I won't be back for a while. This review concerns the Preston Ave location. Everything is delicious! Love this bakery! However, every time I come here, it takes FOREVER! It doesn't matter if there's two people in line or ten. I'd order online, but I still have to stand in line to pick it up which has truly become a painful experience at Preston location. During today's visit, it took 10 minutes to ring up ONE customer! In total, it took 42 minutes to purchase a bagguette and a sticky bun today at Preston with five people ahead of me who all had their bakery goods ready to pay for at the register. The location downtown is always faster and often has less staff

Erika M.

Yelp
Amazing pastries great quiche and mocha perfect. Staff was very nice and eager to give glowing recommendation of the baked goods. Wish we had a place so good in Atlanta.

Katie E.

Yelp
Everyone raved about this bakery, so we had to give it a try. The place was packed and very little seating, so we took our almond croissant to go. I am a big almond croissant fan and was excited that they had some with chocolate chips. However, it didn't live up to my expectations. The top was over cooked, making it drier and crunchier than I usually experience elsewhere. There wasn't enough almond butter either.

Antonio P.

Yelp
MarieBette was a wonderful little bakery to try in Charlottesville. I came at an off hour, so there wasn't much line at all and I easily found a table to enjoy my order. The staff were polite and helpful, and the food was delicious. (Side note, the macaron was huge! We should make all macarons this size.) While there wasn't a huge variety of options, there was enough everyone should find something they love. Overall, I really enjoyed MarieBette and would absolutely recommend stopping by.

Jordan T.

Yelp
This cafe is very reasonably priced with good food. The egg and cheese sandwich was very tasty and the croissant on top was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I added greens to mine. The latte was smooth and had a good balance of milk and espresso so you can still taste the coffee flavor. There aren't waiters here but the food gets delivered to your table very fast. The decor on the inside was nice and welcoming.

Kaitlin T.

Yelp
One of my favorite local cafes and arguably the best local bakery! The food is delightful and the ambiance is quaint and lovely.

Janet P.

Yelp
Absolutely delightful little place. Cool artwork, even the bathroom is pretty. Counter order, the menu is more extensive than what's on the chalkboard, so don't miss the little flyers on your way in. Free water station, yay. If you want a cooked meal, it will take longer than you friends if all they are having is a pastry. Everyone seems very chill.

Amy E.

Yelp
We stopped here on the recommendation of a friend while we were in Charlottesville. Great bakery choices--I literally couldn't decide between all of them! The have eat-in and outdoor dining so it's a great place to stop for breakfast and coffee. My recommendation would be to take home a bag of pastries or homemade bread for later!

A A.

Yelp
I just moved to town a week ago. A friend recommended this cafe for their quiche Lorraine--best she's ever had. I opted for a small lavender latte and three mini canelles. Latte: rich and deep espresso is the star (as it should be!) lavender syrup perfectly delicate. Just a touch of sweetness and just the lightest essence of floral. (No soap here!) Canelle: caramelized crunchy, light and custardy. Delightful. Get the three minis to truly savor. Atmosphere: chill, good outdoor and indoor spaces to relax and savor and enjoy company or solo roll. Staff really warm and welcoming. Like you'd wanna become a regular. I can't wait to try more! Thanks y'all!

Rita G.

Yelp
The savory items we ordered were delicious. However I question when a bakery serves burnt items. We had a chocolate croissant that was burned. It was actually crunchy. The second item was a chocolate brioche that was Al's clearly very over baked. The coffee was very bad. The cider was strange and we didn't like it at all. The mocha actually tasted bitter. I was a little disappointed considering it had really great reviews. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast sandwiches were outstanding. The veggie quiche looked amazing. I found it a bit overpriced as well.

Yelp
MarieBette makes amazing pastries. The chocolate croissant and brioche feuilletee are delicious. The fact that the lattes come with a small canele is a nice touch. I loved the artistry on the cupcakes. The baguette I bought was a little too hard and crusty for my liking. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. Overall, this is a great place to stop in for a treat or buy pastries for a group.
