"It's Saturday morning on the Marietta Square, and Mill St. is closed for the weekly farmer's market setup. Every Saturday and Sunday, an average of 65 vendors and hundreds of customers come to Atlanta's #1 farmer's market to sell or pick the freshest veggies, fruits, breads or products. This market offers a wide range of variety to choose from including produce that's rarely, if ever, available from the grocery store. In addition to food, you can also take home amazing, fresh-cut flower arrangements, local honey, herbal soaps, jellies, jams and preserves. This year-round farmer's market is truly one of the great examples as to how important community support is in Marietta. This market brings local vendors, residents and visitors together to enjoy fresh ingredients while supporting an entire community. Make sure to plan a day to come enjoy this unique farmer's marketing in Marietta; you will not be disappointed!" - Green Mellen Media

Google
The best local market. Wonderful events. Lots to do. Parking everywhere including in the garage and all around the square. A regular favorite. Always something new and different. Cool Beans cafe is good. ***3/6/21 They started charging for using the parking garage. We paid using the app named FlashValet, scanned the ticket, but it did not register as paid when we went to the exit kiosk gate we had to call Customer Support the lady let us out quickly.

Google
Fantastic farmers market located next to the Marietta Square Market food hall offering prepared foods, local fresh produce, and an artist market. Although it varies weekend to weekend, there is a very nice selection of booths and plenty to browse through. Go early as many of the popular ones sell out quickly & they make fast work of packing up & leaving by noon. Free and paid parking lots nearby.

Google
Lovely interior dining hall with a wide variety of food options for all tastes. Very spacious inside but also has exterior seating on the wrap around porch. Everything I've tried so far from them has been delicious. At times - like on weekends - it might get incredibly packed and parking becomes sparse.

Google
Great little farmers market! The vendors were all so kind and passionate about their products. They took the time to talk to us about what they had without being too pushy which I love. I highly recommend Taza for delicious Lebanese food! We got the red pepper hummus, pita, and tabouli. We also got kombucha, German pastries, and shrimp and grits. Everything was excellent! Go check it out Saturday mornings.

Google
We visited on a Sunday in June so the market may be much smaller than the Saturday one. But loved the vendors who were there, and bought peaches, beautiful bee pollen from Kennesaw, cold pressed juice, blueberry sage lemonade squeezed to order, local artisan crafted Frik & Frak cognac pasta sauce, multigrain bread, lemon thyme goat cheese, and need to go back for curry lentil quinoa soup! Also loved Church Street Market around the corner with lovely kitchen finds as well as sauces, preserves and She Crab & other soup mixes!

Google
Nice market with plenty of vendors and the food hall is right across the street.

Google
Fantastic!!! I’m calling it the boujiest food court ever🤣 Walking into the market gave me very nostalgic feelings of going to hangout in the food court with friends like when I was high school. The food choices are amazing. Unlike mall food courts they have Everything from Lobster Rolls to Hamburger meals. They have Indian food, bbq, PhO, Tacos and even a bar. This is the perfect place to grab a quick service bite, a drink and have girl talk.

Google
Great local options, wish it was bigger although I like that I don't feel like I'm fighting thru people.

Yelp
This market is great if you know what to look for. In my several visits I have always encountered lots of fresh cookie and pastries. Some of them are really good while others feel overpriced and lacking quality. Many of the vendors offer samples so be sure to take advantage of that before spending money. The bakery in my picture was one I REALLY liked! They had fresh pretzels and so much more. Fast friendly and fresh. Yum! Some of the other items that were delicious included fresh apples from an orchard in Ellijay. They had mutzu which are in my top five. The vendor was friendly and I would highly recommend stopping there. The lady with the fresh Shea butter in a worth a stop. The price was fair for what you get. Smooth creamy Shea butter from Africa is so good for your skin. There are a lot of options. I recommend bringing your own bags.

Yelp
I love farmer's market Saturdays. We walk to the square, grab a coffee from Cool Beans, and peruse the farmers market while drinking our coffee. I like to go early (around 9) so it's not too crowded / picked over. There is a wide variety of stands, ranging from breads, baked goods, fresh veggies and fruits, meat and eggs, flowers, to pet items, and even more! Plus there's a whole other section of the farmers market that is a craft fair. I personally think it's a great size market and I feel lucky to live so close! There is one stand that has the absolute most beautiful flower bouquets (see attached photo). I would always see people walking around with them and think they were so lovely, but I never saw where they were coming from, until I went early one day and discovered that she sells out quickly. There's also a Greek stand that has the most delicious cheese filled pita pocket things (no idea what they are called), and they sell out of those quickly, as well, so make sure to go early and grab one to try!

Holly K.

Yelp
I love this farmer market. By far the best one around town only feedback would be to get there as soon as they open. A lot of vendors sell out within the first hour.

Hannah K.

Yelp
Okay I haven't been to an American farmers market in a long time (since Covid began) and this place isn't too far away from home so if I felt like I would rather be on my couch pantsless it would happen. There are a few major parking spaces offering free, 2 hour only, and paid parking. Plus the chance spots available next to the small stores. I started at a place for coffee but it didn't turn out good so I could only drink half of it (sorry unnamed Coffee Co!) The farmers market was pleasantly not overbearingly crowded). Produce selections offered: - A large variety of different mushrooms! The largest ones being the size of a small melon. -Goat cheese from natural to assortment of flavors with cranberry, garlic, multi pepper , dill, herb. A few stations offering empanadas and tamales, German baked goods(check her out!), stalls of small variety of baby plants, small plants, and potted herbs, After walking in the chilly cold it was a nice time for Ponko fries, and a soft served taro with mango bubbles. The taro ice cream was very earthy and good, the mango bubbles are not too sweet and add an interesting flavor.

Yelp
If you're looking for locally grown produce and delicious artisanal goods, then this is the farmer's market to check out. It is located near the Marietta Square on Saturday mornings, 9 a.m. to noon year-around and on Sundays, noon to 3, from May to October. The vendors provide a good selection of goods including vegetables, fruits, meat and poultry, smoked salmon, honey, eggs, cookies and pastries, mushrooms, sauces and dips, breads, jams and jellies, microgreens, teas, kombucha, seasonings, shea butter and pecans. Most vendors accept credit or debit cards. A few accept samsung pay (I'm not sure about apple pay and android pay). I've have the bread vendor say that he had a minimum purchase amount with card and only ran into one vegetable stand that was cash only. Free parking can usually be found along the square and nearby side streets. Otherwise there is a paid parking lot and paid parking garage nearby.

Yelp
I love the Marietta Farmers Market! It is a great local venue where the community can hang out with their families, stop by after a morning yoga class or make a quick stop while you're out running errands. The market offers a wide variety of products from handcrafted jewelry, paintings and pottery to fresh produce, baked goods and doggie treats. There are regular vendors selling items like hand whipped Shea butter, sweet pickled jalapeños, fresh cut wild flowers, and all natural popsicles. Yes, some of the items are a bit pricey but that's typical for "organic, specialty" farmer's market products like goat cheese and handmade soaps. For the most part, your basic market staples are reasonably priced. Parking can be an issue so be prepared to drive around a bit to secure a spot. There is also a parking deck across from the Strand Theatre where you can park. sorry - don't know if parking is free because I always get a space near Starbucks! There's a small play area/park in the middle of the square where kids can play for a while if you wanna grab a cup of coffee, a pastry and sit near the fountain to relax and enjoy the sun. Dogs are welcome too...on a leash please.speaking of dogs, they also have a dog adoption booth there weekly with some really great looking dogs who need a home ( you just went awwww, didn't you?) The market has certainly grown in the past 7 years I've lived in the area and my guess is that it will continue to grow and get better. I'm there almost every Saturday enjoying some "me time" while the family sleeps in, but sometimes I get lucky and one of my kiddos wants to tag along (which always means I need to bring more money!!!). My faves: Shea butter by Makeba ( better than anything u can buy at a store), Pickled jalapeños (samples on wheat thin w/ cream cheese are amazing), King of Pops popsicles, fresh wild flowers (in mason jar you can bring back next week for next purchase-so chic!), and produce (walk around to check it all out before you start buying stuff). If you've never been...GO! And if you haven't been in a long time you should go back.

Yelp
We love this Farmer's Market and the venders! Such a great way to find new products, support small business and get fresh produce and goods. A pretty big offering and diverse in what's available. Everyone is so nice and friendly. There are lots of festivals, restaurants in and around the square so making a day of it is easy!

Danielle H.

Yelp
A nice blend of "farmer" goods from fresh produce to meat, cheeses, pasta and honey with a few boutique style items to make it a fun morning out. I recommend parking near the Marietta Square Market and visiting those shops first before crossing the road to the fresh foods side.

Yelp
Recently coming from California, I have a very high bar for Farmer's Markets... and since several colleagues at my new job recommended this FM to me, I decided today was the day to try it out. My boyfiend and I headed in at about 10:30. Pros: 1. There's a free garage nearby with tons of parking, especially for people who are willing and able to drive up to the 5th level or above. I'll never understand the a******s that clog up the works waiting for a spot on the first level like waking to the elevator will somehow kill them. Anyway... 2. People are very, very friendly. 3. There's entertainment for kids if that matters to you 4. It's 100% dog friendly 5. There's enough to look at/buy if you're just picking up a couple things. 6. The surrounding shops and restaurants are nice. Great little coffee shop called "Cool Beans" right by the artisan market. Cons: 1. This is NOT a place that replaces a grocery store. No way. Not nearly enough produce options. 2. Maybe I'm a bit spoiled, but the quality of the fruits and veggies doesn't even hold a candle to California grown produce. 3. There aren't any prepared foods really... don't come hungry looking for a taco stand or anything of the sort. Overall, it's an OK market... but I won't be going out of the way to come here. Nice effort though.

Yelp
This is a cute little farmer's market located in the Marietta Square, The market is out every Saturday and also on Sundays from May through October. Sometimes it's huge taking up 2 streets and other times it's small and takes up a portion of one street. I love stopping by on the weekends to grab fresh bread, veggies, fruits, cheese and pasta. What more can you ask for? I always take a big shopping bag and fill it up with goodies for less than $20. It may be a bit out of the way if you are coming from Atlanta, but this is a great spot for those that live in Marietta and East Cobb. Parking is ample and free on the weekends. I typically park in the garage by the Strand Theater.

Kristy M.

Yelp
Nice little farmers market. Went for the first time today- I'm curious if it will grow in size when the weather warms up. There were many Italian food items such as sauces, raviolis, breads etc as well as handmade soaps and scrubs.

Thi T.

Yelp
Lovely place to visit on a Saturday. The FM itself is not that big. There are various booths of produce and meat. There are a lot of samples. However, I searched for a meal here and was unable to find anything obvious. I settled for a tamale. Luckily, there are different shops at the square. Next time, I would probably eat around there. My favorite part of the FM, and the reason why I came, was for the Greyhounds Meet and Greet. Visit them and pet the friendly dogs!

Yelp
Great place to come and support local people and get farm fresh items. Love the selection form eggs, heirloom tomatoes, sausage, greens, cheese, fresh apples etc all seasonal of course. Lots of natural soaps lotions and skin care. Local honey !!!! Kid and dog friendly to. Also my fav the breads , cookies and desserts that are all made with love.

Jin S.

Yelp
I love going to the farmer's market on the weekends. I much rather support the local farmers and merchants when I can. I love seeing the different variety of stuff and seeing people out and about with their cute pups.

Robin S.

Yelp
Nice market with a good mix of fresh goods and other stuff. It was a bit crowded and because the stall rows are close together, navigating was a bit of a chore. But that was probably due to the Marietta Street festival happening at the same time. I'm not going to drive up here on Saturday mornings for this market but only because there are a few closer to home that are just as good, or better. But if I lived in Marietta ...

Sarah D.

Yelp
The perfect market for this area!!! We love heading down to the Marietta Square to see who is there on the weekend. Great bread, lettuce, and in-season veg and fruit. Great place to take our dog on an outing as well. There is lots of stimulation but she has grown more calm over time. She paces around the house on Saturday morning until we get in the car!

Yelp
I've visited the Farmers Market a handful of time while being in Marietta, and for the most part I've really enjoyed it. I have gotten fresh peaches, vegetables, and even potted plants from the market, and there is a fun arts and crafts section on one of the side streets which is always interesting to peruse through. The only difficulty here comes from finding parking. Parking for the square is typically hit or miss, and it would be awesome for the market to put up signs directing people to where a nearby parking garage is. I didn't realize there was one until my third visit, but perhaps that's because I'm new to the area. Individual stands are also hit or miss. There are a few stands with some prices I just can't comprehend, while the next booth over is selling the same product for half the price. Overall, I'd say the stands are great, and those who run the stands are fantastic people. The live music is always fun to listen to as you stroll through as well. Overall, I really like this farmers market, and wish it was open for longer.

Caroline K.

Yelp
This was my first visit to the market and it won't be my last. I was happy with the different a stands: local honey, vegetables, fruit, natural Popsicles, artisan soaps and breads. However, it was a very sunny, hot day and there are no places to sit or even shaded areas to escape the sun, and it would have been nice to have a local food stand or two for lunch. There are a few restaurants around, but away from the market. There were 2 musicians performing, but they were awful, and a few of the stand owners were complaining about the volume. I appreciated the effort, but a softer more mellow tone would have been more appropriate than teens on electric guitars. The stand owners were all very friendly, but a larger number of stands would have been great in this area.

Sheri S.

Yelp
I am so grateful that we are lucky enough, in my community, to have a farmers market with the organic presence that is found at the Marietta Square Farmers Market. Not to mention all the other delicacies one can find from fresh bread, homemade lemonade, dog treats (from Big Daddy biscuits the best you can get in Atlanta), plants for your garden, almond butter, olive oil & goats cheese. It's all there, it's all local and it's all delicious! Visit and enjoy!

Jang C.

Yelp
It's a small farmer's market. It happens every Saturday at Church St. It also happens on Sundays at certain seasons. Everything looks local and fresh. They usually have the same vendors each week. For example, you can get fresh honey from beekeepers in Kennesaw. I haven't shopped here much. But they do have food and drinks here. I saw King of Pops hanging out. They also have a lemonade stand. They sell all sort of Rhubarb flavored lemonade. Some days, they have Noemi's Tamales. They're not bad tamales. They warned the Pork Rojo is super spicy. It wasn't spicy at all to me. I also saw a sausage stand. So if you want some snacks made by local places, it's a nice place to go. Parking is pretty good. On weekends, the parking decks are free. But you can probably find free, street parking closer.

Kristin B.

Yelp
The Marietta Farmers Market is delightful. It's located in the Marietta Square, which itself is a delightful place, shady and green from giant old trees, and surrounded by all the cute shops, restaurants and bakeries of the downtown area. Ample free parking is available in the parking deck across the Street from the Strand Theatre, adjacent to the government building. From there, follow the sounds of the musicians and buskers towards the market. I was seriously impressed by the variety of vendors the Farmers Market offered this Saturday morning. There were about 30 vegetable/fruit/meat/bread/egg vendors, and another 30 craft/jewelry/art vendors separated out in another area of the square. Beyond every color of cauliflower and variety of tomato you could imagine, they also had vendors selling fresh Georgia white shrimp and Georgia mountain trout by the pound. I've never seen so much seafood at a farmers market before, and I only wished I had brought my cooler to cart some home. I managed to resist the pretzel bread from Bernhard's Bakery and the endless varieties of danish, cookies, and croissants from the other bakeries there that day, but I'll budget for them (calorically) next time. While the protein prices were in line with other farmers markets around town (read: $$$), the produce was down right cheap. I got a GIANT bunch of kale (easily equivalent to 2-3 bunches in a typical grocery store) for just $3, and it was organic to boot. I also picked up a pint of super-sweet organic blueberries for just $5, and an organic heirloom tomato, priced at just $3/lb. While I don't know if I'll be making the drive out to Marietta for produce regularly, I'll definitely make the stop again the next time I'm OTP on a Saturday morning.

Yelp
I understand that it takes time to establish good ideas, so I will definitely be back this year to try out the Marietta Square Farmers Market and see if it has improved. That said, I was very disappointed with the 2 visits I made last year. There were some nice products and crafts, particularly the honey, but I was not impressed by the fruits and vegetables available. They were extremely pricey compared to other farmers markets in the area, almost bizarrely pricey and of very low quality. Also, one vendor was selling some rather unhealthy looking apples that had stickers on them. These stickers looked like the ones from the Kroger down the street. Also, the vendor was unwilling to provide any info about the product to clear up this impression. Very shady. I'm hoping that this market will grow and offer some higher quality products from vendors willing to provide details in the future. With Life Grocery and Harry's offering excellent organic and local produce nearby, it'll take more than just calling it a "farmer's market" to get me to pay a premium for an onion.

Herman W.

Yelp
Great fresh food from local farms- eggs, cheese, sausage, bacon, greens, apples, bacon, beef, jams, jellies, sausage, bacon, greyhounds, cold drinks, Popsicles, tomatoes, bread, bacon, sausage, milk, goat cheese, sauces, hot sauce, muffins, but no doughnuts! We get everything we need to eat- except doughnuts!

Bonnie L.

Yelp
A family member brought home some berries and peaches that you couldn't feed to pigs. That "farmer" is ripping people off charging 300% more for far inferior products than you could find them for in the regular grocery store.

Amy B.

Yelp
I've lived in Georgia 7 years now. So glad to be out from under that rock I was living in. This place is a food garden paradise. Reds, greens, and yellows! It's the middle of the summer so I'm sure season has a lot to do with my magical experience also. Uniquely flavored cheeses and butters. All fresh! No preservatives. The vendors were chatty, patient and most accepted credit cards. Not all. So definitely bring some cash. There were several meat vendors too. Locally, raised, grass fed... Haven't tried them yet. I will update when I do. Go! Don't let seven years pass you by like it did for me. Eat the rainbow

Lin K.

Yelp
I visited the Marietta Square Farmers Market on a Sunday. The hours on here are incorrect. They are 12PM to 3PM. I had to hunt around for a parking space, but it wasn't that bad. They had many organic farmers there and I bought some zucchini (yes) for only a $1.00 each. They had Georgia Peaches, mushrooms, corn, flowers. Other vendors had bees wax, King of Pops, natural lotions/soaps. There also was a Civil War exhibit going on. The Southerners love this stuff! I'm from NJ so I don't get the draw... One thing I definitely DID NOT LIKE was the horse drawn carriage. Really? Do we need to have this? How hot was it for the poor horse! It was a very hot, humid day and some jack*sses had to have a carriage ride. Yuck. A Sad commentary on our society. I will go again, maybe this time on a Saturday as there probably were more vendors there. Also, bring cash.

Michelle A.

Yelp
This farmers market is very nicely layout. I have come several times and the weather will really determine the amount of vendors who show up. On good days you can get a wide variety of seasonal produce. They also have stands that sell essential oils, honey, meats, seasoning, and flowers. The vendor are very nice all around and some welcome you to samples.

Laura J.

Yelp
Great products available. The stand with the salsa has THE BEST salsa (salsa roja). Parking is limited and the lots are crowded, but what do you expect at the Square on a Saturday? A ton of people coming to a small place. Main thing to remember for first-tumers: CASH ONLY. There is an ATM by The Strand theater, but there's a $3 service charge.

Heather B.

Yelp
Wow! What a beautiful day at the Marietta Square Farmers Market. This was my first trip there and I am hooked. I arrived at 10:40 this morning and found parking right away. It was packed... I mean really packed and I got lucky with such close parking. I didn't really know what to expect when I got there, but the music being sung by Aspen Countryman was amazing. She was singing, "Counting Stars," one of my favorite songs and it just set the mood for my visit. I'll put a link for her at the bottom. I decided to start off by walking through the artesian section first. I was instantly drawn to a booth called Suddenly Whimsical. I bought the cutest navy with coral chevron painted frame and a beaded owl necklace. They were super inviting and I will definitely be back there to purchase more of these frames. I will include pics! Please check them out... Love that they are UGA fans as well. They had wine cork trivets and wine cork-boards too. My frame was $7 and necklace was $15. I wish I had gotten there earlier to scope it all out because there was sooo much to see. So I'm glad I'll be able to go back lol. I later checked out the farmers side. Can I just say AMAZING?! Again... I should have checked it all out first for pricing and such, but the first booth I can to, they were so welcoming, great prices, I just couldn't resist. It was a huge booth in front as u entered the farmers side of the market. I bought 8 cucumbers, 2 green tomatoes, 7 bell peppers, squash (many different kinds), a bag of onions, fresh garlic, and kohlrabi. I have never tried Kohlrabi but after hearing how to cook it and what it tasted like... I'm excited to try it. I got all of this for about $18. I then found an heirloom tomato stand with green beans and poblano peppers. I bought 3 huge vine ripe tomatoes, 5 yellow tomatoes, a basket of green beans, 8 peppers, and 3 heirloom tomatoes for 18.00. This is why I should have walked around first. I found another place on the other side that had a bucket of green beans for 3.00 instead of a basket. I got 14 Roma tomatoes for $5 and an eggplant for $2 from another vendor. I didn't make it all the way through the farmers side before running low on cash... I didn't bring much money with me... One great way to not over spend. I am going back next week and am super satisfied with what I purchased. I will def be getting there early next time... Walking around and seeing everything before making my purchases. I think my first stop will always be the first big white tent, up front. Awesome advice and stellar customer service. If u haven't yet, please go and support these farmers. You won't regret it. :) There were also organic Popsicle stands, hot tamales, and carriage rides. Something for everyone. Find the fresh cut flowers. Everyone was getting them and I am bummed I didn't because they were beautiful. I will next week tho :) Here is the link for Aspen and I already uploaded pics from my haul :) youtube.com/AspenCountryman AspenCountryman.com facebook.com/AspenCountrymanMusic

Yelp
Came here with my mom and daughter and just let me say that I LOVE LOVE LOVE outdoor markets. So farmers markets and such where I can get fresh fruits, vegetables and other awesome items is my thing. I cam on a Sunday and was told that it's so much better on Saturday by one of the vendors but I still had a great experience. I will most definitely go again and if you haven't been here you should.

Nicholas T.

Yelp
Great choices and a great accordion player street musician.

Jeff J.

Yelp
I enjoy spending the time wandering around here. Lots of really nice local produce, breads and sausage to be found. It's great to meet the people growing, and making the things found here.

Aisha H.

Yelp
cute little neighborhood farmer market! everyone is super friendly and there are lots of produce options like tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, blueberries, and PEACHES! there are many other items for sale like crafty stuff, local honey, body items, flowers. plenty of parking around the market and many areas to sit and relax by the fountain in the square. the market is surrounded by interesting shops including a nice coffee shop so you can prolong your adventure. definitely enjoyed checking this place out and will return!

S K.

Yelp
Disappointment. The prices were outrageous and most of the booths were being run by the various store and shop owners in and around the square. In fact why even go to this Farmer's Market, just go to the square on a weekday and shop at the stores, you will find virtually the same things and the same price - enough said.

Shica B.

Yelp
I have been going to this market for years, but have hesitated in reviewing until just recently. I finally figured out the approach for the review. It is not really fair to review the overall market on the experience with the individual vendors - they change from week to week and you can honestly review them on an individual basis if you have their vital statistics. I wish that there was a way to somehow link the vendors on Yelp to the location... But, I digress. I think that in doing an honest review of the Farmer's Market - you have to address the overall experience of being able to pull up to the area and have the opportunity to go to the individual vendors. The parking experience is key, I appreciate that there is free parking all over the place (if you know what you are doing) in downtown Marietta Square. The positioning of the vendors is convenient, the necessary streets are blocked off to allow one ease to the craft or food vendors. The available times for the market are ideal. Overall, I just love the ambiance of Marietta Square. There is something so freeing in being able to have a place that is in tune enough with the residents that they shut down the streets to allow the locals to roam through to enjoy the area. *only because I do not know the name of the vendor that I mention the shock that a fellow shopper and I had a few weeks ago when someone was selling tomatoes at $4.50 per POUND! I assure you, they were NOT gold-plated.

Lynn T.

Yelp
one of my favorite local farmer's markets! great selection of fresh veggies, eggs, salsa, tamales, dog biscuits, soap, knife sharpening, fresh organic meats and seafood, cheeses, oils, and much more. The restaurants around the square are also fabulous!

Lisa B.

Yelp
Hmmmm...I was mostly underwhelmed. The prices were a little bananas and the selection wasn't that great. The best thing that I got was some bread and granola. Its something fun to do on Saturday mornings is you are up early and you are wanting to get out of the house. I don't recommend making the treck OTP if you are an ITPer. Really the most exciting there was all the dogs since I'm a pupper lover.

Vnss R.

Yelp
I'm visiting in Georgia with my sister this weekend, and she took me to Marietta Square farmers market yesterday. The square itself is just beautiful. The courtyard is really lovely, and I went crazy over the tulips they had planned near the fountain. The market is fantastic, and damn near every booth had samples of the product they were selling. Fresh salsa, scones, infused goat cheese, amazing soups... I bought some heavenly handmade lavender mint bar soap. They've got a bit of everything. The only thing I thought was a little disappointing was that it closed at noon. But otherwise, I loved it. Had lunch at one of the many restaurants in the square afterwards. Really great.

Cameron G.

Yelp
I wish there was more straight up produce... Garlic, onions, peppers etc... What IS there is good, just a small variety and I end up still needing to go to the grocery store. Great for breakfast... Lots of pastries and bread. My favorite vendor is Seven Sister Scones... They are the main reason I have 4 stars over 3

Yelp
VERY DISAPPOINTING!! A waste of time some of the vendors have a request list with their items already pre-sold prior to market. When I contact the Director of Marietta Market he stated that I should become a part of the list if I'm interested in purchasing product from vendors. I have attended other markets that are larger and that has NEVER been the case the whole purpose of going to the market is to purchase the merchandise that is available for sale for the day. It's not worth the effort of the parking or getting there early to ensure that you can purchase items that may or may not be for sale.

Yelp
We go to the market nearly every Saturday throughout the year. While the market is much larger in the spring and summer it is still a great place to find fresh and local food all year. The vendors are mostly friendly and good at remembering regulars. Don't miss the fresh eggs and goat cheese!

Yelp
The Marietta Square Farmers Market has grown so much in the past couple of years!!! There are plenty of vendors selling everything from fruits and veggies to freshly baked sweets. It has become so popular that they set up the farmers market on Sundays after lunch in addition to several hours on Saturday. I usually walk there on Saturday mornings to pick up a few things, but there is plenty of free parking in the parking decks and surrounding lots. The vendors are very friendly and I have been happy with the produce that I have purchased. Today was the last day for the farmers market this season, but they will open again in April. If you are in the Marietta area on Saturday mornings, I highly recommend stopping by and taking a look around.

Yelp
Quaint is what I would describe this farmers market.. It's a tad bit on the small side (smaller than Piedmont park's market) and it's located in a small parking lot area. The market has some great quality fresh produce, flowers, honey, baked goods and a little bit of everything else. It's great if you just want to get out early on a Saturday morning with the family and pick up a few things, but from now On I think I'll just sleep in! Where are the Huge outdoor markets here?

Yelp
A nice reason to go to the Square on a Saturday morning! There were more vendors here than I had expected and I found a few goodies to take home with me: Hope Garden's Jalapeno Pesto (which can also be found at the Peachtree Road Farmer's Market); some fresh basil and some muffins. I almost picked up some boiled peanuts but it seemed a bit early in the day for that. Not a ton of vendors, but enough to allow for a leisurely stroll along part of the Square. Oh...and parking is free in the municipal lot during the weekends. Super easy to drive and park in there in the shade instead of searching for street parking.

Yelp
Previous reviewers apparently did not return this year (2010). I'm from out of town but visit a relative in Marietta. The market is now down one side of the square itself, and there are many good vendors, There are a couple up front who buy large amounts from elsewhere and resell, but most have their own pastry and produce. During peak apple season one lady had several varieties of wonderful apples. Easy to tell they were "home-grown". When you walk on down the lines, some of the best veggies are toward the back, and reasonably priced. The market time is nearing an end for this year, but I look forward to next May when they return!
