This is my favorite historical downtown in the Metro Atlanta area. There are wonderful restaurants, art galleries, and local shops galore! There are tons of parking spaces for a small fee.
There's always something going on through the warm seasons of the year. There's a farmers and artist Market every saturday, free concerts in the middle of the square, and many festivals such as the taste of Marietta and Chalktober.
Marietta Square is set up very well for people to park and walk around. All of the crosswalks have lights for people to cross safely.
There are also places such as the wine bar, art museums, and the theater in the square that has delightful and affordable plays year round. Don't forget historic Johnny McCracken's on St Patty's Day!
