I found this souvenir shop on a social media post and was very intruiged to pay it a visit. Came here in the late afternoon and only had to wait a few minutes in line. You enter the shop on one side and leave through another door on the other side.
Uppon entering the shop we were told to go straight to the back of the shop and start there, since the cash register is located in the front (I'm assuming this is why we were told to start in the back).
Following this logic, I suggest to let in the people in the back of the shop so that they can start browsing there, make their way to the front, where they can pay and leave the shop in one go.
Since the shop is smaller and there were still quite a few people inside, I first had to make my way through the crowd to get in the back and after paying had to do the same all over again to get out, which was not easy as well because the postcards are placed next to the exit door and the other shoppers were not aware of it, so I had to ask them politely to move for me.
The souvenirs themselves are cute and I found quite a few things that spoke to me. The designs are detailed and well painted. However I was taken back by the prices for some of the pieces. A small dessert plate costs 48€, which seems a little high in my personal opinion.
But I did find a couple of cute postcards and a journal for a more affordable price, which I am very happy with.
Another small suggestion I would like to add now towards the end of my review: While browsing I found it a little confusing to find the price tags for some of the pieces, since they are written on small cards and not placed in direct line of sight sometimes. Maybe a slightly bigger card or a better placement could help out here.
In my opinion it is up the consumer if they are or are not willing to pay more for souvenirs. I found some affordable pieces for myself, which I am happy to bring home.
