The Best Shopping in Paris: 21 Places Not to Miss | Condé Nast Traveler

"This independent shop in what was formerly a family-owned tapestry workshop is a gateway into the retro-whimsical world of Marin Montagut, the multidisciplinary artist behind playful homewares and the books “Maison: Parisian Chic at Home" (written with Ines de la Fressange) and “Timeless Paris.” True to Montagut's penchant for antiques and old-world general stores, the shop is set up apothecary style with wood countertops and repurposed Siegel display stands sourced from a hundred-year-old market in the South of France. You'll find mix of travel ephemera, vintage finds, a charming collection of fabric ornaments, and, of course, a wide selection of Montagut's own designs: hand-painted porcelain dishware embellished with half-moons, hearts, and Louis XIV–style sunbeams; ex-votos; painted silk scarves; papier-mâché boxes; scented candles; and a variety of illustrated stationery." - Lindsey Tramuta

Where to Experience Paris in Bloom This Spring | Condé Nast Traveler

"French artist Marin Montagut’s enchanting cabinet of curiosities, with its glorious hunter-green facade, houses a whimsical collection of homeware and objets d'art. 'I love finding unconventional items to use as vases, like Montagut’s beautifully illustrated bonbonnières,' recommends Sigman."

The mosttttttttt charming & adorable store I’ve ever browsed!!! This place is so beautiful & just visually appealing ! They have so many adorable Paris themed items that make perfect gifts. I love their selection of hand made (uniquely numbered & hand signed!) shadow boxes.

Very cute store in Paris! I saved this place before I go to Paris as a must see store for souvenir but the prices are very high. The staff was helpful and kind, thanks. Otherwise I went there with very high expectations but the variety was limited for souvenirs in my opinion.

A charming store—and a humbling moment I won’t forget! A few weeks ago, we visited the magical Marin Montagut boutique. Knowing it’s filled with delicate and beautiful treasures, I cleverly left the kids outside and tiptoed in to soak up the atmosphere. As I slowly wandered through the store, I suddenly heard the unmistakable sound of something breaking. Annoyed, I turned around—were the kids inside after all? Nope. It was me. My backpack had knocked a porcelain dish off a table. Cue instant panic and deep embarrassment. But instead of scolding or stern looks, the store manager responded with genuine kindness and grace. I left the store with two lovely purchases… and a face redder than a Parisian sunset. Thank you for turning an awkward moment into a story I now share with a smile. This place is truly special—go, but maybe… without a backpack.

We visited this store after seeing people like it for souvenirs. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it for souvenirs as almost everything is glass but let me tell you, if I trusted that things wouldn't break on the plane, I would have cleared the shelves! Their merchandise is so cute and unique! They do have some stationary and cloth goods but the plates and cups and little wall decor were the cutest! I absolutely recommend stopping in to take a look but also because it's in a less touristy neighborhood and was a pleasant walk away from the hustle and bustle.

Wonderful souvenir shop with lots of tasteful and handmade items. Everything has a lot of character. It is in the pricier side but you do feel the handicraft in each item. It's right around the corner from the Luxembourg Gardens and a great place to buy some unique souvenirs.

It’s a perfect place to shop for souvenirs and unique gifts. They also offer hand painting service in some glassware and it take a week to pick up. The only thing is the price, definitely for tourists.

A charming and enchanting boutique gift shop primarily selling handpainted china and glassware with a Parisian flair. Everything was so cute I had a hard time narrowing my choices down to two items. The shops target appears to be visitors to the city and yet almost everything in the shop is fragile and breakable. As I was checking out I stressed to the staff that the items needed to be packaged for travel. I was underwhelmed by the pretty, yet flimsy packing material that was used. The hand painting was cute and inspiring. I was very disappointed that there weren't a few items made of enamelware or other nicer unbreakable materials. I just hope these items make it through multiple flights to their final destination. And oh yeah, prices are very high.

A very pretty shop with beautiful souvenirs like plates and cups. However two big issues: first one is that the prices are very high and the quality of the plates was bad. They were very thin and would easily break
