We had the butter lettuce salad and shrimp & grits and found the food quality to be excellent. The cocktails were also excellent (I had a very well balanced Mezcal cocktail) and the servers were super friendly and really hustling to try to keep everyone happy as the place filled up. Great view of the marina from every table.

I was really pleased with Marina Seafood Dockside Patio. We came there on Saturday night for dinner and had a reservation. We ordered mussels in cream sauce, fish and chips and cioppino. Everything was very delicious. Stuff was very nice and even the owner came by bringing us food! It is a patio, so it feels little bit like you are outside, but thanks to the heaters I didn't feel cold. We were little disappointed to miss the live band, we were told they played in the afternoon. The overall experience was really good, I will come back next time with a larger group and during the day time to get a nice view of Marina and listen to the band!

My parents and I checked out Marina Seafood for their soft opening last week. The ambiance was inviting from the moment we walked into the patio, and we were seated with a view of the harbor. We shared a few dishes family style - the kampachi crudo, pappardelle, tempura shishito peppers, cioppino, dockside burger and furikake fries. I ordered a blueberry lemongrass mocktail as well, a refreshing drink that harmonized with the diverse flavors on the table. My absolute favorite and a must-get is the tempura-battered shishito peppers, which comes with a yummy gochujang mayo sauce. The kampachi crudo came in at a close second - it was a beautifully plated masterpiece of freshness with vibrant flavors. I learned from our server that the pappardelle pasta itself is house-made! The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the combo of mussels and shrimp with the sauce transported us to seafood heaven. The dockside burger is also noteworthy, with a bacon onion marmalade sauce that made it so unique. What truly set this dining experience apart though was the impeccable service. Our server Jill was attentive and hospitable, and made our evening memorable with her warm demeanor and helpful suggestions. When she brought back my boxed leftovers, she even suggested that I warm it back up in the oven at 350 degrees for several minutes and that it'd taste just as good that way. This is something I hadn't experienced before at a restaurant - I was so pleasantly surprised. She made me feel like a guest in her own home! If you're in Berkeley and crave a seafood experience that goes beyond the ordinary, this restaurant is a must-visit. The culinary expertise, stunning views, and exceptional service make it a true gem by the marina.

This place is absolutely amazing. The freshest and tastiest seafood I’ve had since moving to the bay. The flavors, the food, the atmosphere, the service. It all was a 10/10! I highly recommend you all check this place out. We had so much fun on date night here.

Google
What an awesome experience! The seafood was fresh and fantastic! The service was on point! We devoured the very savory cioppino, the seafood fettuccine was amazing, the shishito tempura was crispy and delectable, and the ahi tuna tartar was divine! We will most certainly be back! Oh what a night!!

Google
This place is a vibe for sure, but the food wasn’t that good. I ordered the fish and chips and shrimp and grits. The fish lacked salt and the batter was unappetizing (it was thin and greasy). The shrimp and grits plate was initially presented as shrimp and risotto. When the issue was corrected, I noticed the shrimp was overcooked and the sauce/gravy reminded me of gumbo. To be honest, it didn’t feel fresh. Considering the price of the items, I was a little disappointed. If return, I will order a salad. The service was okay.

WINNER!!! Beautiful setting, friendly servers, creative chef, and delicious food! The Beet Salad was fresh and unique, made even better by the Blueberry Spritz, Furikake Fries with gochujang mayo appetizer, super warm heaters, light Bay breeze, large open windows/patio, and beautiful Waterfront views. I loved everything about Marina Seafood Dockside Patio. The Beet Salad, Blueberry Mocktail, and Furikake Fries with gochujang mayo are stars. A few notes: (1) Staff are friendly, engaging, genuinely care, and we even got a visit from the manager. They should be super proud – and its only their second day! (2) Setting: Gorgeous Waterfront setting, spectacular views, adjacent to the Berkeley harbor and walkable pedestrian pathway around the Waterfront. (3) Ambiance: warm and bright, simple/hip design, skylights, views, cozy intimate indoors. Great music. Fresh, current. (4) Beet Salad: Yum! perfect pairing of tangy citrus/vinaigrette with creamy goat cheese, slightly sweet beets, and crunchy pistachios. Will have it again for sure. (5) Blueberry Soda Mocktail. Also Yum! With a sprig of rosemary on top, unique flavor profile, and locally sourced soda from Berkeley’s own Tractor, not Coke or PepsiCo. (6) The gochujang mayo Kennebec Fries were incredible. Salty, sweet, a tad spicy, and very unique. Congratulations on opening, Marina Seafood! I can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Food was amazing. Recommend the crab gnocchi and crab sandwich. Beautiful outdoor seating along the marina, staff extremely friendly. Highly recommend.

Yelp
First time here but it won't be my last Restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating (heating lamps available) We opted to sit inside because it was a cold day . We sat at the bar and watched the football game. Inside is clean well organized and has lots of seating available All employees were very friendly and welcoming that is a huge plus We felt right at home Bar is well stocked, I ordered El Jefe $16 Friend had a mimosa We ordered focaccia bread 7$ very good and the Nonna sauce it came with was very tasty Steamed mussels with garlic bread, also very good and shrimp ravioli was amazing We shared everything, as in to say that the portions sizes are big and very shareable! We took food home Overall food is very good Ambiance is great Prices are very reasonable Parking is safe and easy to come by Only open Friday- Sunday Closes at 7pm We tried coming last Sunday but we got here too late glad we didn't give up

Yelp
Great view of the Marina. The decor feels like your outside. Parking can be a little tough but there's overflow parking across the street. Food was good for sharing but taste was just okay, tipical. . A plus is it is a great place to hang out with friends. Walk around the Marina afterwards or beforehand! The service was excellent. They kept checking on us and kept making sure to clean up to make room or for our table to be tidy.

Yelp
Dining On The Dockside! We came for lunch with colleagues as it's close where we work. We didn't know this place existed until someone mentioned it at work. It's literally next to Hana Japan restaurant! It's a small place with a separated kitchen from the dining area. One side of the dining area has an open wall structured. So it's almost open to the outside as if you're seating by the dockside. So we checked it out and just ordered a couple of appetizers! We shared the furikake fries with truffles and cheese and Fritto Misto, calamari. But I ordered a cup of clam chowder soup for myself. The furikake fries were good. But was expecting a more stronger scent of the truffle flavor. Just wasn't strong enough. Also, wish the fries could have been cut thinner so it could absorb more flavors. However, everyone's favorite was the Fritto Misto! The batter was just perfect, with slight crunch and just melted in my mouth. The calamari was tender and soft. Not chewy at all! Will definitely order calamari again next time! As for the clam chowder! It's good and tasty. But there were some big cuts of potatoes. Perhaps slicing them in half will be better for consistency, But I'll order it again! Overall, the service was decent, the ambiance was cozy, and the food is good! For sure we will return again at this Marina restaurant by the dockside! Perhaps you should check it out and experience it for yourself!

Yelp
We were greeted like royalty right through the door by Michael and Nassim came over and seated us right away and our view was just stunning. We looked at the special menu that was on the table and I am definitely going to come back and hit some of special that's on it. It just really looks wonderful. My wife absolutely loves the choice that was made to pick this place to have dinner. Just based on our first impressions. Very romantic. I strongly recommend reservations if you can and it's important because not a large restaurant.. The place is very interesting because the bar and the kitchen are in one building and there are only have a few tables there. Understand you are very lucky and book a reservation. They have a wonderful area just a couple steps from the front door that overlooks the harbor and all the boats, and you can sit there with open windows looking out over the water. It was magic. I like to look at this place because it's very well suited for the Bay lifestyle, clean spacious and organized. The staff never leaves you alone for a minute if you need something they're there for you without interfering with your privacy. As it should be. We started off at the clam chowder and then our entrées were shrimp and grits. It looked really amazing and the other entrée that we're having is the crab and yogi special. Of course we shared and management was very accommodating for us. Every dish that we were served right up to the minute, we walked out the door was perfect. The sauces weren't too much. The flavors were perfectly blended together, making these incredible sensations of happiness with foods that you're not too familiar with in some cases. I think there was a lot of thought that went into this recipe and the menu . Be sure when you go to their website and look to look at the photos of the food that they serve there it's very elegant and stylish and a lot of appeal and new flavors that you may be haven't tried before. And I would say bring a date or friends because it's that kind of a place There's no candles, but you don't need candles when you can look at a beautiful sunset. My great thanks to the crew that made our stay a memory that we want to return to and thank you for your hospitality because you wear it on your sleeve proudly and you have done a wonderful job bringing this new restaurant into the area. I'm one happy customer that had a wonderful evening with his beautiful bride, and we will return. Big thank you to Manager Mr Yoon who took my reservation , for a perfect visit.

Yelp
Luckily, we were able to ammend our reservation by 30 minutes. And glad we did cause they had 2 servers and 3 more parties ended up coming. I Had no idea this place was located here... so close to our home. The ambiance was great we sat at a high table and a wonderful view of the water. I ordered the seafood risotto. You get 2 clams, 2 shrimp, 4 mussels. It was so rich and flavorful! But felt like it could do with a little bit more of risotto. If you were to take out the the seafood, it was less than a 1/4 of a cup. The server really recommended the pastas, but I had so much pasta through out the week that I needed something else. My husband ordered the fish and chips, and the batter on the fish is magnificent! Super crispy. His fish portion was really good. He got 2.5 pieces of fish. We had also ordered a lemonade but it never arrived. They got so busy towards the end of the meal, that we decided lets just get the check and head out. We would definitely try again.

Yelp
This is a great place for dining especially being on or near the water in the marina. The service was beyond excellent and the atmosphere was very nice. The parking is a bit of a challenge so bring your patience. I had the fish and chips and it was delicious and abundant. My wife & sister each had the cioppino and the both finished their food which neither ever do. My brother in-law had the steak and fries, which he loved. We had s'mores dish for desert which was very delicious. I would definitely recommend this place and I will come back next time I'm in Northern California

Yelp
Sad to report that the chef has changed and the food, which once gave us beautifully balanced sauces and creative food, is no longer as remarkable. The glazed chicken wings are now dessert-sweet, and the seafood pasta had a tasteless sauce. A "Korean Steak - marinated boneless short rib" was ordered medium-rare, came out purple-rare. It was soaked in a super-sweet teriyaki marinade/glaze, and unpleasantly chewy. The tiramisu was pretty good, however. Very disappointed, and probably will drop this off our 'preferred' list. It's a shame as the location is lovely and the parking fairly easy.

Yelp
For me, a harbor view, great food, friendly service, and the perfect background music make this restaurant a winner. Our table was next to the open window, seeing the boats and the gull made me feel like I was on vacation. The background music was perfect; John Coltrain, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, and many others. All the way home I was singing "It Goes to Show You Never Can Tell". I had reviewed the menu and decided what I wanted before I met Toni and Lori here for lunch. Alas, they did not have what I wanted on the lunch menu. The lunch menu did have many choices. I decided on pasta with shrimp in a pesto sauce. I also ordered a side salad. The simple salad was nicely dressed. Even though I was full, I ordered dessert to take full advantage of the 15% Yelp check-in discount. I did end up taking the tiramisu home along with most of my pasta. Despite being at the busy Marina it isn't easy to see, the restaurant is behind Hana Steak and Seafood. It is worth finding. I would like to go back for dinner to order what I saw on the menu before I went to lunch.

Yelp
Lori, Terry and I met here for lunch today. It was Lori's choice. Our server was Kendall and she was wonderful, warm and helpful. I wasn't sure whether I wanted the fish and chips again or the shrimp and grits. I didn't see the shrimp and grits on the menu and didn't ask. I decided I wanted the fish and chips since they were so delicious last time. I added a salad for $2, which seemed very reasonable. Terry ordered shrimp and pasta w/ pesto and also added a salad. Lori got the fish and chips, adding salad too and ordered a cup of clam chowder to go. We all had water to drink. The salads were brought first and were quite generous as well as tasty, albeit simple. I think there were more vegetables in the one Nina had, although I could be misremembering. When our mains were brought they looked marvelous and tasted even better. The woman who brought them brought us malt vinegar at my request and Lori gave me hers because she prefers tartar sauce. As before, the fries were plentiful and delicious and I could barely make a dent in them. Terry took a couple and I sent what was left over home w/ her since I wasn't going to take them home w/ me. After lunch Lori and Terry decided to have dessert, the lemon tart for Lori and the tiramisu for Terry. They both offered me bites and the lemon tart was excellent. The tiramisu was rich and decadent, tasting strongly of coffee, in a good way. I liked it a lot. Terry got to a point where she couldn't eat any more and took the rest home. The music playing overhead was a wonderful mixture that ranged from Al Green to Ray Charles to John Coltrane to Dave Brubeck to Chuck Berry and beyond. We could identify most of them but Lori showed us an app called Shazam that will listen to the song and then identify it for you. Too cool!

Yelp
Cute spot with a view of the harbor. We got takeout since we had read that they had an outdoor seating area and we could bring our little dog. The outdoor area wasn't quite done yet. Fish and chips were tasty. The staff was friendly. We took our food down to the end of the street and sat in the parking lot looking across the Bay at San Francisco.

Yelp
We tried the clam chowder, the shrimp and grits, and calamari. The chowder was delicious but they really skimped on the broth. It felt like a bottom of the bowl portion upon receiving it. Which is such a bummer because I loved the flavor and richness of the broth. It did have a solid amount of clams in their shell, and those were great too. The shrimp and grits were decent, nothing to write home to. It was missing something for me, can't put my finger on it. But it did have a nice little spicy kick. I felt the portion was a little small for the price for this dish. The calamari was delicious and cooked perfectly! Love the bits of fried lemon slices too. Definitely recommend! Our waitress was very sweet as was the hostess who checked us in. I'm excited for when they get their windows fixed so that you can see a direct view of the bay. Oh! And for anyone who has an electric vehicle, there's a Chargepoint slow charger in the parking lot. We were desperate for some miles and that's actually why we chose to eat here, due to the fact there was a charger next to it. Great find!

Yelp
The clam chowder was so good! We had a reservation for a Saturday night. It didn't seem overly busy, but they were already low on clam chowder, so they gave us a smaller portion on the house. The broth was thick and rich, and it was full of clams - so delicious. I would go back for the clam chowder for sure. We also ordered the burger which was tasty and juicy. Fish and chips had a nice not-too-heavy breading and tender fish on the inside. The wings had a nice tangy sauce, and were still crisp on the outside and moist on the inside. Overall, we were happy with everything we ordered, but the Clam chowder was the star. The room that we were in was open on a cold night, but heaters kept everyone warm and comfortable. I would try them out again, and hope for more clam chowder next time!

Yelp
We came to celebrate Father's Day. The view and bay breeze was nice. We had fish and chips, cups of clam chowder, fried chicken sandwich, crab sandwich, chicken wings and a butter lettuce salad. All tasted good and fresh. I liked the crab salad with the truffle fries. Chowder was a little too soupy for my tasting, I like it thicker. Service was friendly but a little slow. Overall pretty good. I'd come back for the view and some cocktails.

Yelp
Wonderful place in Berkeley by the marina. Friendly staff and a very tasty menu. My family had a great time with many shareable options on the appetizer menu. Their clam chowder was on point!

Yelp
Expensive, but mediocre food. Two stars for our kind server on Mothers Day, and one for the breathtaking view. The saddest thing about restaurants in this area is that all have breathtaking views, but so-so food. I really want this place to survive, so my review is not to hurt the restaurant, but to point out the flaws and with the hope that they correct them. The East Bay needs more good restaurants on the water! Here are a few issues I experienced: *Overcooked pasta *Overcooked calamari, possibly due to it being frozen *Flavorless $$$ clam chowder *Tasteless $$$ and luke-warm lobster bisque *A seafood restaurant with only one whole fish entree There was a Chevy's restaurant nearby that recently closed with the same issues, but the food there was less than mediocre. Skates is another one - although I believe they're under new ownership, so we'll see. Good luck! BB

Yelp
Wow. What a hidden gem! We found this place by accident and absolutely loved it! The food was excellent. Service was attentive and friendly. Michael was the best! Great view of the marina! Will definitely come back! The fresh fish was done perfectly and the cioppino was super yummy!

Yelp
Such a beautiful location! They're brand new so they're still working out the kinks but this place is awesome. Service can be slow but very friendly as they launch this great place. Fish and chips is amazing. First time I came there were two huge filets but second time only one. Clam chowder leaves much to be desired-watery and lacking flavor. Actual clams in the chowder was a nice touch. I will continue to come for the view while they keep perfecting this soon to be gem.

Yelp
We can't say enough about the staff here - they're so lovely. All of them!!! Jill makes the entire vibe... she is a WHOLE vibe!! We love everything about her energy and the way she makes us feel sooo at home!! The food is delicious. The drinks are incredible! (Order the Response - it's a rose water cocktail you never knew you were missing)! The ambiance is so sweet right on the dock in the marina overlooking the water with great lighting. We can't wait to go back again and again.

Yelp
Family dinner here last night and the experience was great. Our waiter had outstanding attitude and was very attentive. The place is located at a nice spot near the Berkeley Marina and if you get a table by the window you will get a nice view the harbor. Food was pretty good overall. We had Calamari for an appetizer that was paired with this house made chives mayonnaise which went very nicely with calamari. As for entrees, we had steak frites and the special of the week which was boneless Korean short ribs with jasmine rice. The steak and short ribs were cooked exactly how we ordered it and seasoned just right but overall the dishes were a little bit on plain side. Would have been nice to see the steak frites topped with crispy onions shavings and the short ribs could have used a side of cole slaw with it just to switch the taste buds a little. The only other slight disappointment I had was when we asked for another helping of the chives mayo we had to get charged $2 for the sauce. Overall, a decent restaurant with a very nice view. 3.5 stars for me.

Yelp
We came on opening weekend and had a good time. They were obviously ironing out some kinks at the time, but the bartender was personable and all of the food was well seasoned and delicious. I look forward to eating here again

Yelp
Wonderful food and the view of the Marina was so relaxing Kendal and all The servers were attentive and excellent! I wrestled with my menu selection. Saffron Risotto with shrimp or clam chowder and grilled cheese or fish and chips. The Fish and chips won because my lunch mate and friend Toni raved about the fries and the fish. She got that also! She was right!!!! The batter on the fish was so crisp and so light and the fish flakey and yummy ! With the Tartar sauce it was my perfect meal . I solved my chowder issue by getting a cup to go! Dinner tomorrow! Terry got the shrimp and pasta with Pesto sauce . It looked good! She took home most of it! We decided to look at the dessert menu. Could not resist....the Lemon tart with whipped cream and raspberry sauce was a refreshing ending ! Terry got the Tiramisu , we all had spoons and tastes and agreed both desserts were yummy! I will return for the risotto ! The background music that was playing was oldies ! And perfect for us it was fun to listen and guess who was singing . I cheated and used my Shazam app on my phone!

Yelp
A friend mentioned walking by and noticing this new restaurant at Berkeley Marina, and I was intrigued. So on this Saturday, after the morning rain, I thought I would come check it out. The restaurant wasn't very busy when I arrived, and I was told I could choose any table. I chose one on the marina side, and asked to raise the shade so that I could enjoy the water view. Before I even sat down, I already knew I must have the seafood fettuccine, and I was not disappointed. The housemade pasta was cooked perfectly, and the shellfish was done well. The tomato/fennel/saffron sauce was silky and delicate, and coated the pasta beautifully. The Calabrian chili gave just a slight kick without making this a spicy dish. In my opinion, it was a perfect portion size - bigger than a proper Italian pasta course, and smaller than an American entree size serving. I was able to enjoy a few oysters, and a salad as well, without feeling uncomfortably full. The charred gem lettuce salad was well executed too. Michael was my server and he was great! He was professional, attentive, warm, and friendly. This may not be a fine dining destination kind of a restaurant, but my first experience has been fantastic. Every staff member I met was welcoming, and seemed to aim to please. I looked around and noticed the other diners, adults and kids, were happy. I look forward to returning with friends, so that I can sample more items on the menu. There is a parking lot, which is nice. There are patio heaters throughout, but do bring a jacket in case it's cold/breezy/windy.

Yelp
Excellent food, service and View! Michael was a great server and we loved the experience! Definitely WILL be back. Thank you for an amazing and inexpensive birthday meal

Yelp
I was really excited to hear that a new restaurant opened in Berkeley Marina! The place was lovely and located right next to Hana. Free parking and accessible via the 51B. We ordered the Pei Mussels, Dockside Burger & Fries, Dungeness Crab Risotto, and a few cocktails. I LOVED THE mussels (delicious sauce and bread). I also enjoyed the Blue Fin cocktail. The risotto was good but not what I expected. I thought there'd be chunks of crab already in the dish, but you have to crack the crab yourself, so it can get pretty messy. Service was also great, but it was strange that the server asked to record my name and phone number before I could get seated even when I said I didn't have a reservation. (It was around 4pm and there were tons of empty seats anyway.) I gave my personal information but this shouldn't be a requirement to dine!

Yelp
Food: Great flavor. Taste is balanced. I tried fish and chips, fried shishito peppers, and charred gem lettuce. The portion of fish/chips and fried shishito are quite large. The drink pineapple spiritz is so refreshing. Service: Excellent service. Really friendly and attentive. Ambience: This restaurant sits by the water, giving a nice view of the yachts and water. Great for any occasions.

Yelp
The food and service was on point! Make sure you try the Berkeley Old Fashioned! The tempura peppers and the mussels were on point! We will definitely be back to try the crab boil next!

Yelp
I had an impromptu late lunch meeting here after a walk and so glad we stopped here! I've been wanting to try it out since opening and I was not disappointed. I love the indoor/outdoor layout because I enjoy fresh air but the heating lamps make it enjoyable & cozy. I'm also a fan of smaller more intimate restaurants vs. large. The staff is super friendly and our server in particular was most definitely attentive. She knew what I needed before I did, was knowledgeable about the menu options + wine, & even offered similar wine pairings for me to try since my original selection wasn't in stock. I am a fan of the range of food options. There is literally something for everyone. I ordered the Pappardelle and added shrimp. It was delicious! The shrimp was cooked perfectly, sauce was light but flavorful, the mushrooms added to the fresh flavor, and the portion size was spot on. I was offered fresh pepper to top but declined. I personally like to taste the food before adding anything & it was perfect. I originally came for the clam chowder but will have to come back to try it! It's my favorite & I love that this place uses fresh clam. I look forward to visiting again and most likely will opt to start having all of my late lunch/dinner meetings here.

Yelp
Was looking on Yelp (obviously, haha) for oysters and came across the listing for Marina Seafood that I hadn't seen before. I was delighted to see that this place had just opened up, so we had to try it out. This restaurant just opened shop on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, so they are still less than a week old. Staff and Service: - Staff members were friendly - Given how new this restaurant is, the members were confused by the tabling system (I.e. which table is which) and served food and checks to the wrong tables. I know they'll get this in no time! - It was a bit concerning that they took so long with our credit cards. Turns out, I was charged for the full bill instead of splitting. I will supposedly get half back in a few days Food and Drinks: - Oysters: Oysters are sold individually and they are from Washington. I couldn't hear the full pitch, but there are different oysters available for $1 more / oyster. The two that I had contained some larger pieces of cartilage than I would have wanted (instead of mainly the meat). The hot sauce that was provided came in a large bottle with a large opening. This caused the hot sauce to come out quickly (even after testing first) - Furikake Fries: the highlight of our visit. These fries were so tasty and came with a gochujang mayo sauce that was delightful. Comes with a little kick, so beware for those that don't like spice. You can request a little container of ketchup instead - Citrus Beet Salad: good size for an individual appetizer or to share with someone else as a side dish. This dish was delightful as well and balanced between the flavors of the beets, goat cheese, and citrus slices - Tamarind Margarita: This was tastier than I thought it would be. I enjoyed the tajin on the rim and the thin slice of lime (rather than a large wedge) Miscellaneous: - Parking is available via a parking lot right outside the restaurant - Heat lamps are placed around the restaurant, providing nice warmth given the open hybrid nature of the restaurant - Enclosed indoor seating is available right across the path where the bar is - Expect amazing views as the seats are strategically placed to get a view of the water and the boats Tips as the restaurant continues to develop: - Provide the small forks for oysters - Provide a different container for the hot sauce so it doesn't all come rushing out (I.e. the same container used for the other oyster sauces) - Provide a small container for salt and pepper instead of one of the servers having to grind pepper on each oyster - Have servers write things down to avoid mixing up orders, forgetting orders, etc. - At one point, there was a significant amount of time in which there were no staff members in the hybrid seating, causing many to wait around - The menu isn't the most kid-friendly - good for date nights, friend groups, family dinners, etc. Excited to come back and see how this place has progressed in a couple months!

Yelp
Amazing service, food and setting. Gem tucked away next to Hana Japan, decided to try it out because our first stop had a long wait. Got in right away, and seated at one of the many tables facing the marina. Food and drinks were . We had the burger, grilled Cesar with prawns and kids fried shrimp + fries (amazing). Everything was delicious, especially the burger - like butter. The star of the show was the service. Our little one was inconsolable after a long day out, and upon coming to our table to introduce herself, Jill (an angel in the flesh) worked her magic, warmly engaging him on everything from Pokémon to the kids menu options. He calmed immediately and was entranced by her energy. By the end of the meal, they were best friends, and he even blew her a kiss . Jill saved the day. Will be back for the awesome service, food and beautiful setting.

Yelp
Food is very tasty, They have a creamy pesto with shirmp past which is very good, my friend had the crab sandwich with truffle fries, which is good except you can't hardly smell or taste the truffle, they only use the oil not the shredded style. The service is very good, the waiter is very nice and attentive. View from the patio is facing the marina which make it very appealing. Good place to bring friends for a relax dine in. They also have a good parking lot. The cost is abit high for lunch, but i guess the location makes pays for it.

Yelp
Michael, the maitre d, was very friendly and welcoming. The clam chowder was the BEST I've every had. Nice view of the water front. Hope they have a good heating system for rain and winter. Can't wait to go back. PD

Yelp
This place has my favorite clam chowder, hands-down! If you like your clam chowder, thick and creamy, this is not the clam chowder for you, but if you like your clam chowder with whole fresh clams, a flavor, packed broth, all fresh ingredients cooked on the spot, then this is the clam chowder for you. I am so bummed that they are currently not open and I can't wait for March to come and get some clam chowder. This is also a perfect place to bring a date. They have great customer service and they are super friendly.

Yelp
Wonderful, romantic setting with tasty food and great service-- plus epic views! Our server Michael was super friendly and attentive. They have a nice wine selection as well. Definitely stop by if you are in the Berkeley area, and enjoy this spot during sunset.

Yelp
Came here on Father's Day. They looked short staffed. There were two servers for the entire restaurant. We are pretty sure the chef served us our dishes. I understand this is a new restaurant. I can appreciate the challenge of staffing up for a big day like Father's Day. But we got zero acknowledgement of the poor service received. Our server did not check on us once. We did not get a single refill. We had to grab the other server or the host whenever we needed anything. The food was ok. The ambience was nice. We may give it another try sometime or we may not.

Yelp
I had the chance to visit Marina Seafood Dockside this afternoon with my family. While parking was a bit challenging, my wife managed to find a spot while my daughter and I went ahead to reserve a table. Unfortunately, we discovered that dogs weren't allowed inside, but luckily our car has a dog mode feature, which kept our pet comfortable. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted by the host and our server, Jill. Since I'd seen some ads on Instagram, I had been eager to try this place, especially before my wife and daughter's haircut appointment. Jill was amazing; she gave my daughter her full attention and treated her like a VIP, letting her choose where we would sit. We ended up at a high table with a great view of seagulls and sea lions--an amazing sight. When my wife joined us, we ordered our meals. I had the chicken sandwich, which was marinated overnight and absolutely delicious. My wife's fish and chips were outstanding--perfectly cooked and not fishy at all. My daughter enjoyed her burger. The overall experience was enhanced by the wonderful view and excellent service. A special mention goes to the Kumamoto oysters. They were incredibly fresh, and the mignonette and cocktail sauce were on point. I was a bit disappointed we only ordered six, but there's always next time! Thanks to Jill from the Bronx for making our lunch fabulous!

Yelp
The service was terrible. The food was just okay. My Cioppino was just warm and there was hardly any seafood. The food took a long time to come out and they forgot our salad so it came out last. I had a lot of hope for this place but I won't be back.

Yelp
Came here with my parents and sister. We were greeted promptly and got to choose our own table which was nice. We sat closest to the marina, it was cold so we asked they turn the heat lamps on and they did! Food was delicious and everything came out on time!

Yelp
Great menu for quality seafood, excellent views and ambiance, and the attentive and caring service here was truly outstanding. I'm going to need to find (or create?) more special occasions so I have an excuse to splurge here again!

Yelp
Not only was the clam chowder and calamari one of the best I've had in the Bay Area, but Jill our server made our experience top tier. Such a detailed and caring server. The overlook of the bay and busy pier was a site to see as well. Being outside with the heat lamps creating a warm environment made our lunch extra special. Such a great ambiance. Will be back !

Yelp
The staff was friendly, whoever I waiter was never came. Michael took care of us big shout out to him. I ordered the grits & shrimps very tasty. I also ordered the calamari it was fried too hard. The bar is separate from the restaurant a whole different vibe. Nice place will be back soon.

Yelp
Love this place, went here for the first time recently when the wait at Hana Japan next door was beyond. We were seated immediately in one of the nicest outside marina view dining areas in the Bay area. Oysters on the half shell super fresh and the shrimp and lobster boil were fantastic!

Yelp
Must try their Clam Chowder. Portion was big. One bowl can be spilt in 3 for appetizer. We also ordered the Fish n Chip, Fried Calamari, and Shrimp n Grit (my least fav). Rating 4/5 The service was great. We were greeted at the door and seat right away (not a busy day). Our server was attentive. Rating 5/5 The restaurant was located by the dock. The day we went was chilly. The heater was on but we have to keep our jacket on the entire meal. The view was ok. Rating 4/5

Yelp
A beautiful atmosphere with a comfy intimate setting. This is a wonderful place that has very good customer service and one of a kind flavors that keeps your taste buds excited. The fish and chips were a hit due to the amount and the soft pillowy crunch from the cod as well as the great seasoning over the fries. The strawberry Panna cotta dessert is a must have after dinner due to the silky texture that ignites your taste buds after you let it sit on your tongue. Overall, this is a very nice small place to go to with your family or for a date night if you want to see the water and still be warm. Ask for Michael! He is a very attentive and caring waiter!

Yelp
What a lovely hidden gem this is! Beautiful views and the food was delicious. We had the fish tacos (which my friend said were the best he'd ever had) and shrimp ravioli. Both were fabulous. Our server was Jill and she was delightful. Friendly and informative. Go show this place some love!

Yelp
Having been to many of the seafood restaurants in the area, this is hands-down the best of them. Having tried an assortment of entrees and appetizers, all of them were very good and some were excellent. Mostly it seems like this was the result of good sourcing for their seafood which across the board was rich in color and flavor. The service was excellent and the 5-6 people I spoke with there were friendly, informative, and showed a genuine intent to make sure I had a good experience. The only odd bit was that, as it says in the name, it's a patio. That means the restaurant is technically "indoors" but it doesn't have full walls, instead having half glass and half shades that are drawn down when needed. So, it IS indoors, but it feels like outdoors. There are several heat lamps over the tables, so it wasn't a problem for me, but if you're sensitive to marina-smell or cold winds this may be useful to know. I bet on a warm day it's the absolute best place to enjoy a delightful seafood dinner by the bay.

Yelp
I sat at the bar and Michael took care of me and what a great experience of food they have. Everything was just delicious including the desserts. I came back the next day for round two. Just good friendly vibes in this palace.

Yelp
Came by to try this new place that just opened! It was a gorgeous January day with beautiful dockside ambiance! The Beet Salad was ample enough for the two of us, with fresh crisp greens, plenty of Feta, beets, and citrus! The fresh caught Ling Cod Fish and Chips was battered and cooked perfectly with a really good Lemon Tartar Sauce! Our Server Aidan was very attentive and professional making sure our food was as expected and checking in with us! Alazia, another server, was so helpful too, as were all the servers there helping each other like teamwork! We will come back for sure!
