Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Drinks- NA Ambiance- 4/5 Value- 4/5 The Marino Bros is a shining star amidst the sadness of the current state of the Bourse Food Court. The Bourse used to be a bustling Mecca for food and now there are lots of empty stalls. The Marino Bros is one of the few stalwarts and the Bourse is lucky to have them going strong. Their cheesesteaks are juicy. The ingredients taste fresh and everything can be made however you want. I got “the works” and it was delicious; meat was tender and juicy, mushroom and onions cooked to perfection to add some flavor while not overpowering and the amount of cheese was perfect. Their fries were delightfully crunchy with a perfect amount of seasoning. The chicken and cheese quesadilla was chock full of onions and sweet peppers to really enhance the flavors.

Very good steak n chz. Maybe a little more cheese needed but hot and tasty as it was. Nice fresh roll with lots of onions. Fresh hot battered onion rings were excellent. Definitely recommend.

Stopped in here while visiting Philly. Besides Marino brother and like 4 other places, the Bourse Building is a ghost town. You could tell it was once a busy food court but that seems to be long ago. I had the Works Cheesesteaks. It was good, nothing special to it really tho. It was tasteful and got the job done but I'd look for a different spot for a more Philly Cheesesteak experience. If you don't really care and just wanna steak, this is your spot.

Very good cheesesteak shop you can pick between three cheese steak or chicken. I got the works. It was so good I ate half of it before I realized to take a picture. If you are by the liberty bell I suggest coming here for a bite to eat.

If you are by the Liberty Bell in Philly, and want a close place to go for a decent cheesesteak, this is the spot. It is right across the street on 5th inside the Bourse building.

Was a pretty good sandwich the fries were good as well. Wish they would have spread out the cheese and jalapenos a little better throughout the sandwich but it was still tasty

Locals working in the area eat here so tourists take note. Nice selection for lunch. Cheesesteaks, hoagies, fries, chicken. Plenty of space at the famous Bourse building. Cheesesteaks are popular here with tourists. Friendly service, quick in and out if you are busy.

The Marino Bros at The Bource at 5th Market did not disappoint. Ordered the chicken quesadilla and mozzarella stick and of course could not finish my meal because it was so fulfilling.

Went into the Bourse Building Food Hall today. While I'm truly sorry that so many vendors were closed today- I'm really grateful that The Marino Bros Cheesesteaks were open. Had the original Philly Cheesesteak. I absolutely loved it. Ton of well cooked fries on the side- everything was great. What was most impressive to me, was the customer service. There was a guy taking the order, and another guy at opposite end of the counter. Both of these guys had a fantastic attitude. Easy, friendly, big smiles. This made the experience tremendous. I would highly recommend The Marino Bros Cheesesteaks when you're in the Independence Hall area

Incredibly overpriced, it was $55 for 2 cheese steaks, 1 large fry, 2 drinks, and a tip. Despite being super overpriced, it was a good-sized portion, in a beautiful building, made fast, had an amazing soft roll, and it was absolutely the BEST cheesesteak of my entire life, hands down without question. Service was okay, they were nice enough and the food was ready fast. The building they are in is absolutely gorgeous and historical. Seating areas were clean. It's near a lot of cool places like the Liberty Plaza.

Ate lunch here 1 original cheesesteak 1 order onion rings and 3 cokes. $36. Overpriced sandwich, roll was fresh but needed more meat cheese and onions. Guy taking order was rude guy making food had ok attitude. What brings them business is location not the food.

Located in the Bourse Food Hall, I only wish I lived closer and I'd become a regular here. After trying a couple other cheese steaks around Philadelphia, I have to say this was my favorite. The way they prepare the bun and the provolone cheese they use is mild (not too sharp I mean), and I really liked that. There are larger portioned cheese steaks out there, but really this one had everything you need...it was delicious. If you've been in the food hall before the remodel, you may be surprised how it changed. It is now all on one level and has a more modern color palette. Still recommend you stop in and check it out.

Came here on recommendation by a nice police officer who told us to skip the touristy spots. Tucked in a food hall across from Independence Hall I was a little skeptical. But once we arrived the long line of locals made me believe the police officer wasn't leading g me astray. Tried the original cheesesteak with grilled onions and wiz, side of cheese fries and side of onion rings. It was delicious! Flavorful and not overly greasy. I will be back!

The cheesesteak tasted like it was from a chain spot, but the location is worth it. In the Bourse Food hall right across the street from the Liberty Bell, it gives you a great Philly feel. The workers are down to earth Philly sports guys. Next time, I'll hit a more classic small joint but it's solid for the location. Hurts for MVP!

Tucked inside the Bourse, head to the back and you'll find these delicious Cheesesteaks! Speedy, polite service yields delicious food! Plenty of options and combos, the bread is fresh and the food was amazing. Serving size is generous for the price and I will return!

Visiting from Palm Springs Ca with our school group- stopped here for the much anticipated "Philly Cheesesteak " IN PHILLY. It was just a food court, but it did not disappoint! Everybody was happy with their order. All of the food was hot and fresh. I highly recommend the mozzarella sticks and the buffalo cheesesteak! I wasn't sure if I wanted to try the Buffalo cheesesteak, so I ordered the buffalo sauce on the side. They don't even charge for it. That was a nice change from Ca lol

The pros: Served hot, they have chicken and real not canned mushrooms, when your ask and pay for extra cheese they actually do it and the service was top notch. Couldn't be nicer people! Location is good but many haven't made it in the market, sad. The not as great part: The bread was soft but chewy, couldn't tear it apart, a little rubbery like. The chicken should be minced, because the chunks of chicken make the sandwich fall apart. Good option for quick hot food.

Food was WAY overpriced, service was bad, cashier was rude. For lunch on a field trip THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! Cashier a turkey too!

I ordered mozzarella sticks and a medium fountain lemonade for my 5 year old son. My son knocked over the lemonade before taking his first sip and the drink was lost. I went back to the counter and asked if they would refill the lemonade because of what happened. I was told that they do not do refills and that I'd have to speak to the owner or manager. When I relayed the situation to the owner / manager, he said no, I won't refill the drink "but I'll sell you a new one." This is extremely poor customer service especially when a child is involved. .The mozzarella sticks were also undercooked and not melted. The restaurant is very overpriced. $8.59 for 5 mozzarella sticks with tax and $3.73 with tax for a medium fountain drink with no refills. I won't be returning and I live one block away and could have become a regular customer if I had a better customer service experience and if the food was cooked correctly.

Great place to grab a quick Cheesesteak near Independence Hall. The staff were attentive and really hyped me up for my triple cheese cheesesteak. It did not disappoint. I left perfectly content and filled from my food. Cheese Cheesesteak

This place is absolutely delicious. Got the 3 cheese cheesesteak and boy was it cheesy. Beef inside is delicious and flavorful, their fries are fantastic and overall this was a great experience. Price was alittle high at $40 for 2 sandwiches, fry and beer but it was worth it. Will definitely come back

The hotel recommended we come to the market because of the diversity of food options as we had vegetarians and people who could not eat pork. I live in an area that is probably in the top 3 of diverse food cultures and I have to say nothing here looked appetizing. I settled on a cheesesteak since I was in Philly. All I could taste was salt. More break than steak and light on the cheese. I guess if you get "extras" your food fills the bun. If you just want meat and cheese, you basically get an empty bun. Not a fan.

Delicious cheesteak, friendly counterman, fast service

Fell for the trap. Was craving a cheesesteak, thought I'd give these guys a try since I was in town for a meeting. Sandwich was just ok...nothing special. Realized they charged me for extra items without asking me, which is kind of shady. Oh well, lesson learned!

Meh Got a cheesteak whiz with. Tasted good but stingy on the cheese. Go to Sonny's instead

Tasted like S-&t. Dry, not seasoned, little meat. Bread is cr*p. Peppers were jarred and had vinegar residue to them. Ruining the taste of the sandwich, if there was supposed to be one. That's the only thing, I tasted.. This place is a tourist trap..... Thank god, someone got me this one. I didn't waste my $$. Do yourself a favor, walk a block or two down market street and get a real cheesesteak. There's a multitude of better options.

Going w 4 stars bc it's not as bad as a tourist trap that it could be given the location. However, it's a Philly cheesesteak. There has to be whiz on the roll itself to promote the meat melting scrumptious food orgy that is the basis of the Philly cheesesteak! Defs give it another shot, but fingers crossed they only mature going forward.

Cheesesteaks are decent but the cashier is just extremely rude for no reason. I asked him if they could cut my sandwich into 3. Odd request I know but I had a reason to ask for it. It's a extra cut.. no biggie right? He told me they can't do that because they have to wrap it and immediately got annoyed and started giving attitude. Swiped my card and then threw my debit card on the counter and then asked me what I'm gonna do about him throwing my card on the counter. I didn't take that very well and immediately asked for a refund because I will not be disrespected for no reason. He then opted to give me a cash refund instead and slammed the money in my hand. Once again, I didn't take kindly to this and words were exchanged. I have never written a review on here in my life but this guys behavior called for it. Just beware of this "tough guy" if you ever go here.

Food is good! Hero's are Big! We should of split them ! But is pretty expensive for a Hero french fries and some Waters!!

Probably the worst cheesesteak I've had in Philly over the years. Overpriced, dry and skimpy with the meat. The bread is cardboard. There are better convenient, nearby cheesesteaks if you check my reviews.

The sandwiches were well priced and it was cooked to serve very quickly!! We got two, the spicy one and the regular one. The regular one was a little dry, but the portion was good!

Price is salty and they charge you for any additional toppings to you sandwich A cheese steak sub, one order of fries and one soda cost $22. Ridiculous price. Other better tasting and mire affordable cheesesteaks can be located throughout the city The gentleman at the counter was not friendly whatsoever. Best cheesesteak i had in a long time. Big and good quality. Staff make sure that i got what i wanted.

I would never eat here again. The food was overpriced and the service was awful. If you want to ask people to see their receipt before giving them their food then you need to do it to everyone because otherwise it seems like stereotyping. The food was ok but like I said I will never return. You can get better steaks and a better experience other places in philly.

Was very surprised to find a place like this in the market. Reading some reviews they said they were "rude". Well I've been to Philly cheesesteak places all over. If they ain't a little gruff, it ain't a real cheesesteak. This steak was delicious. Seasoned and chopped very nicely. Not fatty at all. I would say it could use maybe another slice of cheese per steak but what it did have was incredible flavor. Not chewy. And a nice strong roll. One of my favorite steaks I've had in a while. If you're at independence hall, don't go far. It's right there!

Staff is rude. Staff starting putting ingredients away 15 minutes early. Food is dry and unseasoned. I've had much better cheesesteaks than this outside of Philly. Go elsewhere for actually good Philly Cheesesteaks!!

One of the best/if not the best place to eat in The Bourse. My favorite is the BBQ Cheesesteak with no cheese, bacon, and buffalo sauce. They have amazing French fries and onion rings. The staff is very friendly and do everything to have your order be the best it can. The gentleman with the orange beanie and the tattoo on his head is super friendly. He may be the owner, really great guy. If I had to say one flaw, it's the bottled drink selection. Other than that. Everything is perfect.

They charge for soda refills, other vendors there do not. I'll eat somewhere else next time

BE AWARE, they charge extra without telling you!! I ordered a cheesesteak hoagie and the cashier asked if I wanted it "spicy". I said OK thinking that it means they add hot sauce or some peppers. They charged me an extra $5 for jalapenos. FIVE DOLLARS. Thats half a sandwhich...when I asked the manager about it, he said "well I asked if you wanted it spicy, did I not?"...please somebody, help me find where on the menu it says "spicy means an additional $5"

With the new opening of the artisan food hall at the Bourse in Philly's historic district, this has been one of my go to spots for lunch everyday. The owners also run the comfort food/sandwich joint across the other side of the food court- Rusticca. They do things like Chicken parm, gobblers, sides of Mac n cheese and baked beans. Marino's is pretty much the best cheesesteak in the old city/independence park/East market district now, beating out the decent Sonny's and the historic mainstay Campos. I have no real problem with either, but Marino's has slightly better, more quality meat, great rolls and good staff. Both this and rusticca are both worth checking out.
