Mario De' Fiori 37, a Design Boutique Hotel Rome, Italy

"Experience La Dolce Vita in this beautiful converted town house. It is just a few steps from the famous Spanish Steps in the most exclusive neighbourhood in Rome. The modern Mario De' Fiori is set in a historic building from the 17th century. It mixes old-world charm with contemporary design in its minimalist guest rooms and suites. Original wooden-beamed ceilings and mosaic, marble bathrooms combine with the most modern facilities including free Wi-Fi connection and a 32-inch LCD TV. The fantastic location of the Mario De' Fiori 37 means you are just a short stroll from many of the city's major attractions. Go shopping along Via Condotti, be amazed by the Pantheon and take a walk around Piazza Navona. The friendly, courteous concierge can provide a host of useful information on the city and its venues. You will find him at the premises during check-in and check-out time." - My Boutique Hotel (en)

Mario de Fiori 37 Boutique Hotel (Rome, Lazio) 21 Hotel Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Mario de Fiori 37 is one of a small handful of boutique hotels owned by Alberto Moncada, whose skill at converting centuries-old townhouses into apartment-style hotels has resulted in some remarkable, intimate accommodations in one of Rome’s most vibrant — and tourist-saturated — neighborhoods. A few minutes from the Spanish Steps, this hotel’s neat, cream-colored exterior gives way to a modest lobby that reinforces the kind of place it is: a private and serene urban retreat. Rome’s got no shortage of hip boutiques with buzzing lobby scenes — this one aims for something entirely different." - Tablet Hotels

Mario de’ Fiori 37 | Best places to stay in Rome

"In a 17th-century townhouse, a block away from the Spanish Steps in the high fashion Tridente district, these seven stylishly cool suites are designed with Italian flair. Run like an exclusive B&B, they offer a perfect base for shoppers, romantic couples looking for a cushy private bolt-hole, and tourists who don’t want to feel like tourists while staying within walking distance of the main sights. Staying here is like having your own hip pied à terre in Rome’s most fashionable district. The location is great for sightseers. It’s walking distance to Piazza Navona, the Vatican, Pantheon, Trevi Fountain and Rome’s other big-ticket attractions. " - Rebecca Winke

Thank you for allowing me to stay at your beautiful boutique hotel...only 150 yards from the Spanish Steps. I was a guest in Room #102 from August 24th to the morning of August 28th. Your Hotel not only has nice, clean, large rooms and a great location, but also some fabulous people working there. Olga at the front desk was simply the best!! She answered all our questions on a daily basis, AND offered us some great suggestions. She not only wanted us to feel comfortable at your Hotel, but also anywhere we traveled. With all the amazing and historic sights in Rome, Olga only added to our wonderful stay in the Eternal City!! Although we didn't have as many interactions with Ruben, as we did with Olga, he was also very helpful in making sure we enjoyed our stay.||Once again, thank you for letting me stay at Mario De Fiori 37 for four great nights, AND for having Olga and Ruben on your staff!!||If you're traveling to Rome, I highly recommend Mario de Fiori 37 for your stay!!

I’ll start with the room first. Beautiful. It was spacious, well laid out and I probably had one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a while due to the most comfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever slept in. Then there’s the staff who are warm and friendly and gave us a fabulous restaurant recommendation. Then there’s the location right near the Spanish Steps. Despite its proximity to a major tourist attraction the location feels a lot more local than where we usually stay in Rome (Piazza Navona) with beautiful boutiques and far less of the tacky souvenir shops that you see elsewhere in Rome. I will stay here when I return to Rome.

Spending our last night of four. We had the most enjoyable time in Rome. Our Stay at Mario de fiori 37 made our time very pleasant. Centrally Located in the middle of most things to see. The service was outstanding and Olga at the front desk was amazing, went above and beyond any we needed or asked. If we come back to Rome this is where I would stay again.

We stayed at the beginig of May, 2 nights, Junior Suite .The hotel is fantastic. The room was excellent and very large . Since it was my wife's birthday we had a wine bottle waiting for us. A very nice gesture. location is perfect near Spanish Steps. Many restaurants and shops around. The front desk personnel are very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was added by the manager for free and was fabiolus. A very nice stay and we will be back, if in Rome again. Very recommended.

No complaints, the location is perfect, just a couple minutes walking from the Spanish Steps and the subway station that connects you with Roma Termini Train Station in just 15 minutes. The hotel is clean, the room we stayed in was spacious and provided us with everything we needed for our stay (hair drier, toiletries, slippers and bathrobes, etc..). Upon arrival we were welcomed with a bottle of Chianti wine kindly offered by the hotel and a note wishing us a pleasant holiday. The staff has been incredibly helpful throughout our whole stay. Special thanks to Ruben for being so friendly and considerate!
