"With locations in Downey and Pico-Rivera, Mariscos Choix our go-to spot for Sinaloa-style mariscos. Known for its aguachiles, meaty scallops, and Asian influences, Sinaloa has a strong seafood tradition that is unique from other Mexican regions. Our personal favorite here is their massive tostada de callo de hacha, also known as fresh scallop ceviche. Coming with large chunks of beautiful scallop, cucumber, red onion, avocado, and fiery chiltepin chilis, this dish is a full-body detox disguised as a seafood feast. While the scallops are silky smooth, the chiltepin packs a serious punch that always has us sweating, mouth breathing, and craving more all at once. And if that’s not enough, Mariscos Choix prepares a separate chiltepin salsa on the side that’s also seriously addicting and goes excellent on fresh scallops." - sylvio martins

"With locations in Downey and Pico-Rivera, Mariscos Choix is our go-to spot for Sinaloa-style mariscos. Known for its aguachiles, meaty scallops, and Asian influences, Sinaloa has a strong seafood tradition that is unique from other Mexican regions. Our personal favorite here is their massive tostada de callo de hacha, also known as fresh scallop ceviche. This dish is a full-body detox disguised as a seafood feast, and while the scallops are silky smooth, the chiltepin packs a serious punch that always has us sweating, mouth breathing, and craving more all at once. And if that’s not enough, Mariscos Choix prepares a separate chiltepin salsa on the side that’s also seriously addicting and goes excellent on fresh scallops. Food Rundown Tostada de Callo de Hacha This scallop tostada is refreshing, with plenty of lime juice, buttery smooth scallops, chopped cucumbers, and red onion slices. However, the chitepín pepper sprinkled on top packs a serious kick that may or may not make your eyes water (in a good way). Aguachile Besides being one of the biggest aguachiles we’ve come across in LA, the dish’s butterflied raw shrimp has a slight chewiness to it after being lightly cured in the citrusy salsa verde marinade. The sauce also has a wonderful sourness that balances out its serrano chile heat. Get this to share with whoever is lucky enough to join you here. Tacos de Gobernador These griddled tacos are addictively good with their sweet-spicy chipotle salsa, oozing melted cheese, and shrimp filling. They’re very decadent and the crispy corn tortilla creates just the right amount of crunch as it holds all the cheese and shrimp inside. You can also add carne asada to these, but we think the shrimp really holds its own here. Coctel de Camaron The stock in this big shrimp coctel has a strong vegetable flavor that compliments the shellfish, cucumber, onion, and slices of creamy avocado. Overall, this coctel has a good amount of tang and acidity, with the chiltepín topping throwing an unexpected punch of heat." - Sylvio Martins

Oh the vibe here! I loved it. It's fun, not sure if done ecery night, but i went on a Sunday evening and there was a live band, was so much fun. You hear the music down the street as approaching this place, I was excited to enter. We were seated at the patio and it was a stunning area. Just love the decor here. Now let's talk about food...my opinion, AMAZING. The octopus tacos, best I've ever had from anywhere I've visited, the empanadas were sooo good and the Seafood Cocktail...LOVED. Highly recommended grabbing a bite to eat here!

There was a fight when I first visit spot not a good look for my first experience, the situation wasn’t handled properly, security ran from the fight and didn’t even bother breaking it up, I would’ve gotten injured since I was close to the scene. Manager came and offer us our first meal and beverage on the house so I just ordered one plate of shrimp tacos (they were delicious) and a Paloma, unfortunately they still charged us for the first plates so I didn’t like how he lied about being on the house. I would’ve came back if the service was still there but no, I would probably not be back, could be a danger hazard for a family just want to enjoy a nice meal. Hopefully next time they can have proper security and not some dude running off.

I absolutely love the ambiance, atmosphere, and music at Merscados Choix — it’s a truly special place. The service has been excellent every time I’ve visited. On my first visit, Eduardo G. was my server, and this time it was Eva — both were exceptional, friendly, and provided top-tier customer service. I’m thrilled with how much I enjoy this restaurant. I highly recommend it to all families and friends, especially if you’re a fan of great seafood.

Google
The food is great, and the service is excellent, but the tacos are priced per taco, and they range from $5.99 to $7.99. We ordered 3 each of 3 types of tacos, guacamole, an appetizer of breaded fish, a cocktail, and a shrimp tostada and shared them amongst our group of 3. They bring tostadas, salsa, and limes to enjoy while waiting on your food. Two of us drank water, and the other ordered a small beer. Our bill was $180. We visited during the early evening hour, and there was no wait. We were quickly seated in the patio. It's an indoor patio with an outdoor feel. They have great lamps throughout in case anyone in your party gets cold. The lighting is just right. There is dim ambient lighting and spotlight style lights that provide a comfortable setting. Our waitress, Itzel, was very attentive and offered menu suggestions that we really enjoyed. We ended up taking the tostada and cocktail home. We were deceived into thinking the order without those items wouldn't be filling enough for the 3 of us. As a first-time guest, the manager visited us and presented us with a coupon for a free dish on our next visit. It was a positive experience and would go back again, but I would order as we go instead of all at once.

Google
The food is delicious at this place but customer service no.. we needed napkins, tostadas and a extra plate and nobody came, we asked twice

Jorge Meza

Google
Food service atmosphere all 100s. Only con about this place is they don’t know how to split a check. Which is really important if you are dining with a large group. Had to pay the whole bill on one credit card 🙁. (18 guest) Response is they can’t split the check. 😐

It was our 1st time there. The location is beautiful and modern. We love the asthetics. The service that Andre gave us was top-notch! We are from Mazatlan, and the seafood hit! The live music was lit! We want to hire him for a birthday party in the future.

Google
Really enjoyed this place. From the moment you put your name down on the list, you are politely greeted and taken to the back where they have a cozy waiting area. The food was exactly what I was expecting from a Sinaloa Style Mariscos spot. We started with a half dozen of the Oyster Shots (Pajuelazos), so freaking good. We then ordered a Ceviche Mitotero and Tacos De Pulpo Zarandeados. Perfection! My son, who’s not a huge seafood fan, ordered the Fajitas De New York Steak, and he absolutely loved it! We live about an hour and a half away from this spot but anytime we are craving mariscos, we will definitely consider making the drive just to eat.

Yelp
Amazing time today at choix definitely will be back food is out this world and service is top notch ! Thank you choix and thank you Itzel for your service

Carlos A.

Yelp
This place is nice and clean. The service was great and the food was very good. I have been there three times and it has been a good experience each time. I have no complaints about this restaurant and all I can do is to compliment and to let them know to keep up the good work.

Paulina P.

Yelp
This place is fantastic, I love the food, and our server Itzel was amazing, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and was really sweet. Definitely coming back and hopefully Itzel is my server again. 10/10

Andrea M.

Yelp
Service and atmosphere is always on point! Never fails to impress me the amazing fresh mariscos they have! The banda adds a cherry on the top!!!! We have taken lots of friends there and will continue doing so! I live in Ventura so its a little drive that I DO NOT MIND TAKING!

Evangelina R.

Yelp
My wife and I were craving mariscos real bad the other night and because we hadn't gone back to mariscos choix since the new and improved establishment, we decided let's give it a try after a a year or two hehe , It's a BEAUTIFUL restaurant, right side was a bit more quiet the left had music going , Heaters where aligned the top with cute plant deco . The menu was in full Spanish , and I must say i was a bit taken back buy the menus up charge (mind yall I went before the restaurant updated its appearance and expanded into the small parking lot that was provided before ) so remembering the prices before and seeing them now I was like HOLY COW ! but my wife insisted since we never come to restaurant to get whatever I wanted , I was a big fan of the tacos sinaloenses , big juicy shrimp tacos so good ! So I was familiar and ordered again , my wife started us with Botana Camaron con pulpo and ordered tacos de pulpo Zarandeados (both taco orders were an order of 3 ) The botana camaron was SO GOOD a well portioned plated very spicy and overall my favorite part of the meal , But I was so disappointed in my order of tacos The SIZE has most definitely shrunk , I mean I remember eating hearty large tacos , these were far from that . Served with one slice of avocado for the price of 21.99 , 3 tacos !! My wife loved her tacos and they were the same size as mine also 21.99 I also ordered a burro Rojo and would highly recommend for a little drink , Although it was a decent meal unfortunately the portion size don't match the price and for that I have to skip by next dinner time

Yelp
We finally gave this place a try for my brother in law bday. After seeing a lot of people coming here and waiting. Place is always crowded Service was perfect. All the staff were nice and on point. The shift Manager came up to our table to thank us for trying them out. The food was realllyyyyyy good. The vibe of the place is perfect especially hanging out with friends & family. Most definitely would recommend this place. Place is a bit pricy but is worth every penny of it.

David J.

Yelp
Food: 10/10 Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 This place totally lives up to the hype! The mariscos were super fresh and delicious, and while the prices are a little high, it's pretty much what you'd expect for the quality. The vibe was awesome--there's a cool indoor bar and both indoor and outdoor seating, so it works for whatever mood you're in. Service was on point as well, shout out to our Brazilian server helping us out! Definitely family-friendly during the day and great for big groups celebrating any occasion, but I could see it being more of an adult scene at night. All in all, a solid spot for great food and a great time! Parking can be limited but there is street parking next door.

Alexis V.

Yelp
Overall this place was nice, but i do think they can work on a few things! The shrimp sizes for the agua chile were very small, for the price, they need to be using bigger shrimp. My tostada the ceviche didn't taste good as well. The lemon was extremely bitter and past its prime and it made the whole ceviche taste bad. I did enjoy the drinks here though, they were all great and I recommend the Nemo and the Micheladas! Overall we thought the food was okay. The ambiance is great, perfect for a date night. Service was very friendly and they really tried to make you feel like family. Perhaps in the future I will try it again but for now, not returning.

Yadira C.

Yelp
The place looks very nice, lights, music is a little loud but you can talk too. There is a bar area, outdoor and indoor dining and everything is comfortable to eat and to have a nice time. We ordered negro aguachile mixto, which it was very good! Also tacos al gobernador and Marlin they tasted good too but next time we will try something else because there are many options in the menu. I ordered a Paloma drink so good as well. The waiter was very nice and ready to give us options for what to eat tonight. We will return soon.

Ali I.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised by this place. The restaurant itself is nice and a nice option for a dinner or date. There were a lot of celebrations going on when we were there. To sum up my takeaway from this place... the food is good. However, you should come here for the ceviche. Everything else is good but standard. The seafood is fresh and good quality. My only complaint is that the aguachile sauces that I got on the side weren't really spicy but I suppose it's understandable for a restaurant like this. I also tried the camarones a la diabla. Decent with a good grilled flavor but superrr salty. Tamarindo margarita was refreshing. Come for the ceviche and drinks!

Carolyn C.

Yelp
Itzel was our server on a Friday night and she did great! The ambiance gave me Cabo vibes with airy concept. Outside seating was decorated with tropical plants, and beautiful lighting. I believe lighting is such an important factor when setting any mood. We chose to sit outside which was enclosed with glass windows, and equipped with heaters. The seating was so cozy and I just loved everything about the outside patio. Apparently, they recently went through a big time renovation because the place didn't look this nice at all before. For our meal we ordered: Michelada with Pacifico draft, Mariposa, Tacos Sinaloenses (shrimp, cheese, garlic) which came with 3, Tostada de Ceviche de Camaron, chili salsa on the side, and for dessert.. Churros!! The Mariposa is one of their signature mixologist crafted cocktail. I really enjoyed this one. And I better for $24! Infused blanco tequila, lime, and tonic. It came with dry ice which created such a cool effect. My friend enjoyed the Michelada and claimed it's one of the only ones she can really enjoy. It's not too salty either. The food was so good! The only reason I took a star off is their prices. I'd definitely come back here, especially since we were gifted a free ceviche for our next visit. Live band was on the other side of the patio, we witnessed a first date, a group discussing plans, lots of date nights. This place was filled with all kinds of fun! There is no parking lot. We parked in the Del Taco parking lot across the street which had a security guard. He didn't say anything to us about not parking there. So I'm assuming that's where you're supposed to park for this place!

Yelp
Food, service, and the ambiance were amazing. Celebrated a birthday here with the family and had a wonderful experience.

Yelp
Came here by pure luck on a Saturday morning. We were greeted and seated right away. My group consisted of 4. Our drink order was taken within minutes and shortly after we placed the food order. Our waitress was Lupita, she definitely made our experience even a better one. She was super attentive and made sure our drinks were filled to the top. Great music choice and to our surprise they had mariachis. They take song requests so don't be shy to ask for your favorite song. The food came and it was delicious. Very tasty and the food portions are worth the money. We enjoyed everything that was ordered. From the appetizer to the main dish and let's not forget the chips and salsa you get while waiting. Chefs kiss! Overall, it was an awesome experience and most definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Natalie H.

Yelp
We dined here on Saturday night for my sisters bday. We were seated indoors. Our server was so sweet, I don't recall her name. The food was quickly brought out and everything was great. The mariscos al mojo sauce has a nice kick to it. The shrimp empanadas are always delicious. The chipotle sauce they use for them is my favorite. Our server so kindly brought out an ice cream sundae to sing happy birthday to my sister.the service and food was excellent. It is a little loud in there but we didn't mind.

Vero M.

Yelp
I'm back Like always. The food is the absolute best. But I'm here today to let you know that Itzel was amazing. The customer service here is always great but Itzel was top notch. She was such a pleasure. Even my 4 year old loved her. If anyone is thinking of going here but isn't sure. Please try it. You won't regret it.

Kandece B.

Yelp
A family member wanted to go eat some good Mexican food with a margarita. I searched yelp for the area we were in and Mariscos Choix popped up. The restaurant is on the busy Firestone street with limited parking. You couldn't tell what it is until you get inside. It's a gorgeous spot hidden on the main corner. Seating and space gives me a mix of Latin/ Cuban vibes inside. We sat in small seating section that was next to a couch. The hand held menu is in Spanish, i tried to use my Spanish knowledge from Duolingo lol Eventually we asked for an English menu which they had available via qr code on the table. I ordered the fajitas mixtas which had steak, shrimp, and fish with bell peppers. It was so tasty. The rice and beans with healthy and light as well. My guest ordered the fried fish fillet with a salad and a side of rice and beans. The fish was delightfullll. It tastes like panko crusted tilapia maybe another fish. We could have ate a whole plate of just that fish. We ordered margaritas and they had good flavor. Unfortunately they were quite expensive for each one, so we savored them as dessert.

Charnie D.

Yelp
A very lively atmosphere to dine in, there was a wait for a table but open seating at the bar. They had a band playing and the mood was very welcoming from the start. The customer service was fast and amazing, they made sure we were taken care of. Also the manager talked to me afterward about the experience and welcome us back. The food was delicious. The Botana Camaron Con Pulpo has a kick to it, so I would probably ask for less sauce because I am weak on my spice tolerance. Other than that it was fresh and delicious. The empanada hits the spot, it was filled with shrimp and cheese. The churros were whatever, but the scoop of ice cream hits the spot.

Felicia E.

Yelp
The vibes were amazing as well as the customer service !!! Live music ! And the food was sooo good , we got steak and shrimp tacos that were so delicious plus the empanadas !!! The micheladas and cocktails were also very good!!!

Meci A.

Yelp
Service was good، great ambiance and live music. The margarita was amazing however $18 for a small virgin margarita seems expensive . Loved the guacamole appetizer but steak fajitas was just OK $35. It didn't come with usual pico de gallo or any side cabbage/vegetable. The complimentary salsa was too spicy and they didn't have anything mild.

Jailene S.

Yelp
Live band was a nice touch but way too loud. The food was decent but the ambience made up for it.. I didn't try the ceviche but if I come back, that's something that I'll choose.

Desiree G.

Yelp
Live the new remodel! Great ambience, food and service. I enjoy the music as well. Highly recommend!

Bianca G.

Yelp
I love this place! The molcajete is one of the best plates I've had. It has a mix of shrimp, meat, sausage, chicken and grilled cheese it's so damn good and delicious. As far as the place itself it's very clean, modern and well organized and of course Service is great 10/10

Mayra M.

Yelp
The service was really good and the food was amazing. There was mariachi too. Nice place to take the family

Cecille C.

Yelp
The ambiance here is nice and sometimes they have live music, you just have to check the schedule! The food is good but a little on the pricier side and average portions. The Micheladas are tasty just a note the alcohol is on the pricier side as well! I tried the tostada rebelde and the fish tacos here! The service is good and the waiters speak both Spanish and English. As soon, as you are seated they welcome you with fresh salsa and tostadas to snack on! The place has been recently remodeled and it is nice and modern inside the establishment! It gives a modern, Mexican, tropical aesthetic! The only downside to this location is the parking which you have to fend for yourself on the street lol. There are tvs outside in the patio area if you are interested in game watching.

Geo C.

Yelp
Well, a little disappointing. The ambient is very nice. Music on point. Great place for date night. The place doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside very nice. Drinks are very good and food was good, not great. A bit overpriced for what you get. Everything has some sort of spicy/chili seasoning. I'm talking from the beans and rice to the salad dressing. I can't believe they did not have any basic salad dressing. You need to be prepared for those folks who don't do spicy seasoned dishes. They tried to pass a house tartar sauce as ranch. REALLY It's still a must try, but if you don't do spicy be ready...enjoy

Brittany M.

Yelp
Tried this place out last Saturday night and it was delicious! Located in Downey, there's some street parking and a parking lot next to it that you can park in, there's security in the lot and nearby the restaurant. You can also join their waitlist ahead of time via their website. For a party of 2 in the patio, we waited about 20mins but were able to join before we left to the restaurant so we only waited about 10 minutes there. The only thing is they don't have seats outside so just sat on their ledge until our table was ready. Once inside, you can get a Mexico vibe and a pretty aesthetic! The menu is pricey though, it seems like a good place for groups and/or celebrating something. They have big drinks, buckets of beers, micheladas, and more that we saw other tables ordering. We didn't get any drinks this time and weren't super hungry. They gave us complimentary tostadas and salsa (the salsa is spicy! In a good way) and our food came shortly after we ordered. We both ordered a tostada each, I got the shrimp tostada and my friend ordered the fish ceviche tostada. We both really enjoyed our meals! We shared an order of the shrimp empanadas, which looked pretty but tasted okay, a little doughy. In the patio area they also have TVs so we were able to watch the dodger game that was on. Overall, the food was good but a tad overpriced, feels like you're paying for the vibes. As noted earlier, a fun place for groups if you're willing to spend a little extra!

Eric L.

Yelp
I love this place. I am not kidding the Ceviche Mitotero is one of the best plates of seafood I've had. I've gone back twice for the same thing. It has a mix of the different types of ceviche and you don't even have to add anything onto it. The lime flavoring and chile is all there and it's so damn good. As far as the place itself it's very clean, modern and well organized. They can get pretty busy and the staff stays very attentive and makes sure you have what you need. The only difficult part is finding somewhere to park

Raul A.

Yelp
Couldn't figure out if they had a parking lot or not, but ended up parking in the supermarket lot. Ordered a little bit of this, a little bit of that, everything was great. Our server was very attentive which was an added plus. Out of all the items we ordered, my favorite was the mojarra frita, cooked to perfection, with big chunks to rip off and eat w a tortilla. Looks like a great atmosphere during the weekend or evening dinner. Will come again soon!

Mariela G.

Yelp
Muy amables, primer ves q voy, Excelente servicio desde la mesera asta la manager . Me encantó . 10/10

Iris L.

Yelp
I came here to meet up with a friend who lives in OC. I had zero expectations and was totally woww by this place. I came here on a weekend afternoon. It has this bar / outdoor cafe vibe to it. I ordered the tostada and my friend ordered the fish tacos, both were RAeALLy good! The seafood tastes fresh, everything was on point. There was even a live band singing songs in Spanish, which I did not expect, and it made the dining experience so much better. I would definitely recommend this place for people looking for good food and a place with good vibe. The only mini down side is the music is quite loud so it may be difficult to hear what others are saying

Kara M.

Yelp
Suuuch a cute spot for mariscos and cocktails. Great service! Lovely little outdoor seating area, equipped with heaters and TVs. We shared a tostada mixta and had a few cocktails to end our night. We loved the michelada and La Pasión, if you like Mezcal! Super delish. :) Would come back again! Street parking only? I didn't see any lots attached to the establishment.

Hdez V.

Yelp
Went on a Sunday for brunch, wait time was around 30 minutes not bad for a busy day. Our server was amazing and made the first time experience great. She was attentive and great with her recommendations. The patio is beautiful and restrooms are nice. I will definitely come back with my family. Fish taco 8/10 the taco tasted great and the size is average. The only down side was the tortilla, it ripped up in pieces and I ate it with a fork. Super Campechana 9/10 pretty good more on the lemony side.

Rosa R.

Yelp
Came here with my friend and daughter. We were all happy with our food. We shared a tostada, some mixed seafood and empanadas. Staff was very attentive and really nice. Always on top of it! I do recommend this restaurant. Two cons- parking is limited to street parking only Very expensive!

Roxana G.

Yelp
Mariscos Choix is one of my favorite spot because#1 - they have banda #2 - the food is delicious (try the tacos de pescado , the camarón cucaracha I think that how is call E.T.C) #3 Service is amazing - servers are always checking up on you , and if you need to order or request for something they will bring it to you in a moderate time ! #4 Micheladas are pretty big you all but they have the perfect amount of ingredients for you to enjoy a really really tasty michelada #5 GUYS - the decorations , makes you feel really comfortable with sofas and plants en el techo and last and finally #5 restrooms are fully CLEAN ! I Will post some pictures for you to check them out ! Regarding price is a little expensive but WORTH IT !

Jess V.

Yelp
Everything about this place is just okay. Nothing very exceptional. The best part of this place is the ambiance. It's actually pretty nice, but we weren't blown away by the food. It was fine enough. The drinks were good, not amazing. One of their drinks comes in a fish glass and I LOVE that, but that's where the positives end. The waiters seemed bored and then randomly in the middle of eating made us move our table. Overall we would probably eat her again if it was convenient but we wouldn't go out of our way for it.

James A.

Yelp
My friend and I had brunch at Mariscos Choix and it was fabulous! I certainly didn't remember this being here growing up in downey but I guess they got more space and did a wonderful remodel. The interior is beautiful! So many wonderful food options and the server was knowledgeable about recommendations. I had the Filete Choix which had the perfect spice with the shrimp and paired so well with the fish. We shared the ceviche which was perfect. For dessert we ordered from the brunch menu and shared the berry French toast. No dedicated parking lot so we parked across the street behind CVS in their parking lot.

Guadalupe A.

Yelp
Great experience, food was really good but what made our experience great was our waitress Itzel.

Shirley A.

Yelp
Where do I start... everything g here is top notch. The service, the ambiance and the star of the show.. the food. I had a fish fillet with "cucaracha" shrimp on top in a garlic sauce that I could have easily drank with a straw and a green salad. I'm on Keto and this was perfect. Also tried some of their super champachana coctel. Everything was delicious and was even given a coupon for a free agua chile to use on my next visit. Will definitely be back!

Alex V.

Yelp
I found this place on a social media platform. Upon entering we were greeted by a group of hostesses which made us feel welcomed. We were seated right away which also good since I was really hungry. Food was very tasteful and the drinks were SO good. I highly recommend the michelada. Overall the place was clean, service was great and the food was amazing.

Samantha H.

Yelp
Great Customer Service From Eva First time Going in there loved the food everything was great would truly come back and así for her to be my server super friendly and very helpful when it came down to what drinks were good she recomendó the tamarindo drink it was so good .

George A.

Yelp
This is one honest company! Big thank you to George for your help & excellent customer service. My Yelp was hacked & a GrubHub order was placed and charged to me, an order & only new about because of an email about an unauthorized charge. George canceled the order and helped me get my money back. If you're looking for an honest place to dine, trust me this is it! Thank you, George.

Berenice V.

Yelp
I've been to mariscos choir a couple of times since they remodeled and I must say I was impressed. The decor makes you feel like you're Oceanside in mexico. The food is great and authentic and the service is top tier. The tostada de camarón is superb and the Baja style tacos are amazing. This has become a family favorite. Even the takeout experience is seamless and food is ready on time despite a busy restaurant.

Mary C.

Yelp
Mariscos Choix is beautiful inside and out. It is large and has lovely decor inside. They maintain the place and it is always clean. Parking is easy. The food is wonderful. I would like to say it is Mexican food, but it is so much more than that. They also have a full bar and serve great cocktails. The Aguashiles negros are amazing. They even have churros. We love their salads and all their taco items. Their empanadas are the best in town. There is something for everyone here. The service is fast and friendly.

Mariana M.

Yelp
My favorite place of all is this one food is always fresh and delicious , I can't ever decide on what to order me encanta todo de aqui. Service is also great they I've pretty fast and never much of a wait the times I have been there. FOODIS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!

Food is average and so is the service. It is quite expensive ; $200 for 4 alcoholic beverages, 2 fountain beverages, 2 appetizers, a tostada mixta, and shrimp fajitas. In my onion, you are paying for the ambience and live music.

Yelp
Love coming here! So clean and aesthetically pleasing, music is always playing as well. Service is always friendly and they check up on you often, and food is of course, no matter what I've tried, absolutely delicious! It's pricy, but worth it!

Yelp
Found nearby street parking on a Friday evening and I could hear the live music as I exited the car. Walked in and was greeted by the super friendly staff and security. We decided to sit outside and within minutes, the live moving band started playing, which made conversation impossible. We were near the speakers and it was crazy loud. The band takes requests and will play around your table if you'd like. The resteraunt itself is adorable and it appears inside seating may be best for those wishing to have a conversation. Chips and salsa were brought by our waiter, who was pretty attentive. Unfortunately, the chips were too hard and cold. We shared the Molcajete which included steak, chicken, bacon wrapped shrimp, bone marrow, cheese, cactus, cilantro, green onion, and salsa. A small side of beans, rice, and tortillas are also included. This dish was a 5/5, with the steak and salsa being my favorite. Seasoned and cooked perfectly, the dish arrived steaming. The price for this dish was listed as market price. We got the bill and thought that this dish was way overpriced at around $50. For that price, the portion size should have been bigger. It appears the entertainment is included in the price. It was definitely an experience, but I'm not sure I'll be back.
