Seafood‑focused Mexican spot serving aguachile, shrimp empanadas, and hearty consomé. A casual patio vibe and boldly seasoned salsas make it a local go‑to for coastal flavors inland.

I ordered the fried mojará, half a dozen empanadas, and a michelada mix to go. I want to start by saying I loved the mojará—my daughter ended up eating most of it and was a big fan too! That said, I was a bit disappointed with the shrimp empanadas. For $20, I expected the shrimp to be properly cleaned, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. This is the second shrimp dish I’ve ordered where the shrimp had not been fully deveined. I do enjoy your food overall and will continue to eat here, but I wanted to share that feedback in case it can be addressed going forward.

Google
10/10 the food was really delicious and the staff was polite Family recommend to come so we drove from Fresno to here, will do it again!

Google
It has some amazing, delicious, and wonderful seafood. They have a space that you can sit to eat. The employees were really friendly, I was super happy that they accept visa, and they have jaritos de Tamarindo. Great place to eat some fresh food.

Google
We ordered 2 fish tacos, 2 shrimp tacos, shrimp empanadas and Camarones a la Diabla. Overall, the food was okay. If you’re looking to kill a craving, this will do it! Friendly staff and fast service! If you’re looking for your new favorite marisco spot….try elsewhere.

Google
They accept credit cards. Good was good especially the fish tacos. I like the patio neighborhood atmosphere. Sorry I didn’t take a photo.

Google
Checked this great spot out on the north central location in Visalia. Flavors were balanced perfectly and food cooked to perfection!! Got the empanadas. Mouth watering and amazing!! Perfect crispy flakey crust and hearty amount of cheese and shrimp! Dipping sauce and salsas were the perfect combo to enhance the meal. Legit one of the best mexican joints I've been to in Visalia.

Yelp
Was horrible no flavor looked and tasted as if it was made days ago. I do not recommend

Yelp
Food was good but it was a music night or some kind of party and it was really loud!!

Yelp
Each choice of seafood plate is delicious! Tapatio, ketchup, lime, and crackers are given separately and you can prepare to your liking. We always get the consome perron! It's seafood broth with seafood bits inside and comes with head and headless/peeled shrimp inside. The tostada mixta and tostada Especial are almost the same. One has artificial crab. The coctel shrimp can either be served cold or hot. I preferably like it warm. Especially on a cold day! You can bring your own beer amd drink while you have your food. They DO NOT SELL ALCOHOL. They do have sodas and other beverages for purchase. For a more convenient service, order over the phone so you can pick up and/or eat there. They have everything packaged TO GO even if you are eating there.

Yelp
I tried the fish tacos. They were ok. Batter was light and crispy. Had decent flavor. The tortillas got soggy when we brought them home. Maybe they would be better if we ate at the establishment. Outdoor seating was available but it was a very chilly day.
google avatar

Veronica L.

Yelp
The food was really good and the price was excellent. Our servers were very friendly and helpful. Seating is only an out door patio surrounded by a high fence to the busy intersection. This didn't make it any less desirable.

Yelp
Shrimp Empanadas are the best thing ever and the fish tacos are a close second. If you haven't eaten here yet stop what you're doing and go... immediately if not sooner

Yelp
Omg the civiche is sooooo good! The empanadas were also delicious. The fish taco was basic but very satisfying. This place was to-go only and seemed to be pretty busy. I see that you can get michalada mix and it's byob when you can dine in. The staff was nice and the cashier was very friendly and attractive haha I want to try the shrimp taco next and maybe the oysters. I can't wait until we can dine in because it looks like a chill place to eat and enjoy yourself.

Yelp
I've been here multiple times and every time it's been very tasty. If you like seafood and mariscos, you will like it here. There is only outside seating, so during the hot summer months, might make you a little uncomfortable. Also, make sure you take cash! There is no ATM on site and the nearest ATM is two blocks away in a sketchy little liquor store. My fave are the camarones huicholes. There is no other word for them but scrumptious. Like many, we have tried the empanadas and I agree with most reviews here in that they're a must try. I admit, the combo sounded weird at first, but it was very savory. Also very filling. Staff is very nice. When I order to go, they load up my bag with goodies and don't skimp in the lime. The michelada cups are yum too. Love how you can take your own beer. On a warm, not scorching day it's nice. If you're there a while, they'll give you ice. I would recommend. Flavor profile is thumbs up.

Yelp
Came here the other day and ordered Aguachiles ... paid $22 I believe , and they were sooo salty ! It was inedible . Not only that but the flavor itself was lacking . It literally tasted like salt and lemon juice . I didn't even take more than 3 bites because I couldn't handle how salty it was . Total waste of money and I was excited to try this place because I hear such good things . Bummer ..

Yelp
Ok so let me start off by saying that I was a little suspicious of this place at first. It didn't look like anything impressive and honestly I was a little concerned about the cleanliness. Either way my dad and I decided to take a chance and order some fish tacos and ceviche. We took it to go cuz ykno there's a pandemic and all. But anyways we could smell the tacos as we drove home and normally I don't eat fish tacos but geeeez my mouth was watering. I wish I had taken a photo of them but my dad scarfed them down as soon as we got home. Initially the ceviche looked really dry which left me a little confused okay a lot confused. I thought ceviche usually cane with a lil juice ykno for some flavor. I decided to give it a chance anyways added some lime and tapatío, I was pleasantly surprised. I finished the entire pound of ceviche by myself! It was soo good, or maybe I was really hungry, but either way I would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
They don't clean the shrimp properly. I asked why and they said that it gets cooked anyways.

Yelp
This is a long overdue Review. This place has the best Mariscos around The Valley! I'm a seafood lover, and this place hits the spot. I have tried most of the menu. My favorite are the Empanadas de Camaron and tostadas de Ceviche de Camarón. The Michelada Campechana mix is really good, has a lot of Mariscos. Yes they don't have beer, you bring your own. Most people know that. Bring your twelve pack of beer and call an Uber. Prices are good and food is generous. Give them a chance and you'll fall in love, just like I did!
google avatar

Carl C.

Yelp
My review is only about the michelada mix. I came here hoping to be able to have an awesome michelada. I read that you had to bring your own beer and that was okay with me I did not mind. Presentation was horrible . Mix tasted sweet and not spicy . Shrimp looked like noodle cup soup shrimp . It was drinkable but not what I wanted . I wanted that awesome miche in a tall glass , huge shrimp around the cup , spicy , etc

Yelp
Always wanted to give this place a try so I did today and it was not how I thought it'd be. I ordered half a dozen of oysters, a Coctel de camaron and pulpo, and a fried fish platter (can't remember the name). The guy who took our order was super sour and gave me attitude so I brushed it off. Then I get my food and he literally just tossed it to me and leaves fast without saying anything or even smiling at me. The oysters tasted so old I was scared to even eat them to avoid getting sick. And the food was so bland it had no spices or anything what so ever it literally tasted like everything was dipped in tomato juice with salt... on top of that it was so expensive.. won't be coming here anymore.

Yelp
Dank food..I'm from oc was visiting family and decided to eat here...the mariscos are delicious the orders dont look all fancy and the pics. Are not high definition but the food is actually really tasty the camarones el Cora are and the service is good all the staff is very friendly and they modify your orders if you like great place!!.
google avatar

Alex A.

Yelp
What a waste of money and a meal. I ordered an asada burrito and it was so bland it was repulsive. The rice they used literally tasted like Uncle Bens minute rice. Absolutely no flavor. I had the burrito fully dressed and still no flavor. The asada was terribly dry and unseasoned. How this place has reoccurring customers is beyond me. For a better meal with a third of the price, I recommend taco bel. That is how upset I was with this place. If you want authentic flavorful Mexican food on Houston, visit Tacos Mi Casita down the street. Do not come here.

Yelp
Very very rude. The empanadas de camarón have more cheese then shrimp. There aqua chiles aren't that great. The shrimp cocktail really needed salt. It's a place that has horrible customer service and smells really bad. The location isn't that good. Again if it's Mexican seafood you seriously need to go to dinuba and eat at LOS COMPADRES!!!

Nick B.

Yelp
The best of the best of the best! Best seafood I have ever had in my life! Get the empanadas and the Camarones Kora! Wow!! Thank you!!
google avatar

G A.

Yelp
Disgusting. I literally had 2 bites of my cocktail and that was about it. The food was not fresh and the flavor was lacking. The clams in my cocktail tasted like they were canned. Another negative mark for only taking cash.
google avatar

Mayra P.

Yelp
This place has the best empanadas de camarón!! And the camarones Kora are a must as well. I also recommend their breaded fish it's very good crispy, the kids love it. The only reason why I can't give them 5 stars is because it is somewhat dirty outside. They take some time to clean, they don't sell beer and they only take cash! That's an inconvenience
google avatar

Lou O.

Yelp
Ehh, definitely not the best place to get your seafood. We got two shrimp cocktails and two michi mixes. $50. I thought maybe the price point was going to match the flavor. Thinking these better be the best michis and cocktails I've had. They weren't bad, but no where near worth the price point. Definitely over priced. I don't like that you have to bring your own beer. I would've gave them 2 stars if they had bomb customer service but all the tables were a mess, someone had left 30 minutes before us. And everyone was inside the hut laughing and not paying attention to their customers.

Diane T.

Yelp
We stumbled on this place by accident. What a great find! I had the fish tacos and we shared the shrimp empanadas. Both were excellent although I could have used a little more fish in my tacos. The service is absolutely top notch!! Prices are very fair and the place is super clean and well decorated. It's not what you expect walking in off the street. Give them a try for sure!
google avatar

Mayraa J.

Yelp
I tried the empanadas with shrimp as well as the camarones ala momia and everything was bomb! We also got some micheladas with camarón only thing is that you gotta bring your own beer!! Me and my boyfriend were full and we only paid $45 the food didn't take long !! I'm definitely coming back
google avatar

Lupe A.

Yelp
I'm surprised this place has just 11 reviews. This place blew my expectations. We had the shrimp empanadas, along with their green chile sauce and that was freaking amazing!! The empanadas were so good! The bread, cheese and shrimp. Hubby ordered a mich mix and we both loved it. Didn't taste like clamato, like other places. The shrimp cocktail was delicious!! It came with extra fixings, crackers and tostadas. There was so much shrimp in there, definitely your money worth. I will definitely be back again =)!
google avatar

Vanessa A.

Yelp
Our favorite place to have mariscos in the Visalia Lindsay porterville area Very nice and friendly staff and all the food is delicious The fish tacos are the best and the empanadas

Raquel B.

Yelp
So disappointed, camarones were not cleaned. Poop still inside them. How do people not have an issue with that. My husband did love his empanadas !
google avatar

Jacklyn R.

Yelp
I ordered the 1lb of ceviche de camaron. It was delicious, we wanted red beers as well however you have to bring your own beers to drink if you want any. They give a generous amount of crackers and tostadas for the ceviche as well
google avatar

Jasmine S.

Yelp
This place is a hit and miss. I like the fish and shrimp tacos. They green spicy sauce they serve on the side of the tacos is so good. The cocktails however are not that great. The seating area is outdoors but it is fenced in from the traffic. They do not serve beer but you can take your own and they sell the michelada mix. I wouldn't go here to satisfy my mariscos cravings but it is worth a try.
google avatar

Amanda R.

Yelp
Horrible food and portions were not worth what you pay. Everything is so overpriced. The guy that took our order was rude and looked at us as if we were stupid when we asked what kind of beans and rice they served with there food. (Whole or refried; Spanish or white) We were not told that the micheladas only consisted of the chile on the mug and half a mug full of Clamato and ice. NO BEER. Paid $4 each for 3 of them. If I could give no stars I would. I will never visit this place again.

Delia F.

Yelp
Great spot for Micheladas..$3.25 for a regular can be used w 24 oz of your beer of choice . They also add extra lemon or Chile if requested at no charge. Shrimp Michelada a must try!
google avatar

Cristina C.

Yelp
I like that it's outdoors. It's a nice setting in a not so good side of town. I like that it's fenced. I've tried their shrimp ceviche, shrimp empanadas and fish tacos. Bomb food just on the pricey side. Fish tacos are good but they're small! If it wasn't so expensive I'd definitely come more often.

Rogelia H.

Yelp
First time here, and we loved it. I got Camarones a la Diabla and my husband got Camarones momias. Friendly environment.

Eduardo S.

Yelp
As I walked in today it was my first time coming in I came up in their customer service was great there empanada was on hit and there aguachile was Efin Amazing I just wish they serve beer but definitely recommend to take you family 100% authentic.

Kris B.

Yelp
The shrimp cocktail has tons of shrimp (around 15 in the medium)!! Food is fresh tasting. Shrimp tacos have a wonderful combination of flavors. Well worth the prices. Definitely will be back soon!!!! 5 stars fo sure

Emilio C.

Yelp
I only order fish or shrimp tacos , both are Baja style . I've had tacos at Titos in Tijuana and these are better .
