Horrible service. We were a party of 6 and they took 45 minutes to bring food for 4 people and took an additional 15 minutes. Steak was dry... The waitress never came back to offer more chips or apologize for the delay. We had to flag her to order more drinks and she never brought the crab crackers so we had to ask another waiter. We also asked for the rice & beans she didn't bring with the food either. When I asked, didn't this plate come with Rice and beans, she just said oh yeah... n left. Horrible waitress!! Paid over $200 & left frustrated and embarrassed because we were celebrating 2 birthdays & we picked the place. The banda Los Cajeta was just loud not good just loud.. la cajetearon tambien! So we won't be back. I was hoping to like it but back to Hectors it is!

The food was incredible and the staff extremely nice. There was live music too that reminded me of being in Mexico. Absolutely loved this place.

Came here for lunch and despite the bad reviews I had wonderful experience. The two waitresses were very nice and had great attitudes. The place is super clean, great music.The food was very good no complaints. I definitely recommend this place.

Service needs improvement. Although our waitress was kind and so was the other waiter that came to ask how we were doing, neither brought what we asked:( Pros: Nice setup. Cool (literal), industrial vibe well ventilated and TVs throughout. Complementary chips and salsa were delicious with hot and fresh chips. Tamarind michelada and piña colada were very tasty! Food was ok. We had shrimp cocktail, fish and octupus tacos and wanted the shrimp costa azul tacos but had the plate instead. The kids nuggets are generously served with french fries and daughter liked them a lot. Cons: Server made mistake in order and brought us the Costa azul plate instead of tacos but didn't offer to reduce price or bring correct order. Instead, she told us we could just make the tacos with the provided tortillas...lol. She was right, but missed the point! I still tip her because it seemed she wasn't experienced, so I just hope she learns from those mistakes. We also asked for a glass with ice twice and neither server brought us one. As for me, I'd probably return if in the mood for a good tamarind michelada but will have server triple check any food order, if any.

First time at this place, and I love it. The food was amazing. The service was great, and there was a live band playing too.

My family and I have worked in the food industry before, we understand that mistakes happen. But the service was absolutely terrible. Some drinks were never brought. Server left without taking everyone’s order. Food that was never ordered was charged to our tab. It was just a not great night at all for my family and I. This wasn’t our first time going, a friend of ours brought us here before and we liked it. But this time around, you can probably understand how we felt when we had to discuss with the cashier about paying for food and drinks that were never brought out to us or even ordered. In the end, one of our friends was so angry, he gave in and paid the full tab so we could just leave.

Good service food was good also we enjoy the ambiance with the live music. We're visiting from the Bay Area and is a good place to enjoy with friends and family. I have them 4 because the oysters wasn't the best plate today. But I recommend this place maybe only today this plate wasn't good for us.

Their service can improve. It took almost an hour to get our food. The waitress only came around once and that was to bring our food. They definitely need more servers. Food is okay

I came here just to check the place out. I told the young lady working that I only had 40$ and she helped me choose what would be my best option. I got 2 tostadas mixtas and a lemonade. It was a little over 20$ and the food was awesome.

Really, way and beyond bad costumer service!!! Take over 25 minutes to have a server come to your table. Another 20-25 to get your drink. And food ‍ omg.. they do not bring everyone one's food together we had one person on our table literally a long time. That most of us almost was done eating our food. And when you tried to get your server or any other server's attention it's a mission... Please hire friendlier waitresses who actually know costumer service.. Otherwise your business is going to be known for its bad service...

I came here in a dinner date with my husband on a Wednesday evening and to my surprise the place was very empty. Only 3 other table were full. The food was 8/10 I had fish ceviche and cocktail shrimp. The service was surprisingly good the young man that served us was very attentive. The ambience is 5/10 the place looks like it turns into a night club at night with Banda. The decor isn't my favorite.

Worse place to order. You call and the phone rings and rings. At one point they seem to hang up and disconnect their phone. Why be in business if you can't take orders?! Not only that, going inside the restaurant has the worse service ever! I guess the owner doesn't care about his customers. SMH

After a day trip in TJ, my friend took us here to try some more Mexican food LOL. My friends ordered a clamato and Michelada and we shared a few tacos and the torre de mariscos. This place is very loud inside, with a live band and occasional karaoke singers up on the stage. There was only bar seating when we arrived and this place gets really packed! We got some complimentary chips and salsa to start with. I liked the look of the seafood tower, but everything I tried was alright.

This review is long overdue! By far my FAVORITE authentic seafood must try restaurant! The two pictures posted are my top two picks and both have extreme amounts of Flavor. Seasoned to perfection and made with just the right amount of heat. For the price of $22, these entrees that can be shared are a steal. I love how they can cook the seafood in many different styles creating a variety of ways to enjoy shrimp or octopus or clams or whichever seafood your into. Staff is also very nice and attentive and they've gone through some restaurant upgrades so it's looking better than it did before. The only bad thing is the parking that can sometimes be full ESPECIALLY on a weekend but since the food tastes so good, I don't even mind the walk. Wish we had more places like this to eat around town.

The food is good but they have one server by herself doing everything. She's literally running around the restaurant taking orders and preparing drinks. Shame on the management of this restaurant. They need to do a better job with their employees. Customers pay and expect good service.

Food and service was top-notch! I ordered a taco de pescado (fish taco) and camarones roka (some shrimp dish with caramel used onions and orange slices). The ambiance is great! There's a stage for live music, but I dined in on a Monday evening around 6pm. No action there atm. Waitresses were attentive and courteous. I would definitely return whenever I'm back in town.

We like this spot the ceviche was good and the callos were delicious oh and you got to try the ousters they were the best

My first time here. They have their own private parking lot but it's packed & small w/ little to no parking. No street parking neither. When you walk to the entrance there are multiple security guards there. They pat down the guys & they ask to check the ladies purses. They have their own bar & it's pretty spacious space wise. We were able to get seated immediately. They had a live banda. The food was good. I ordered the trensas de res. It came on a hot skillet w/ grilled onions, jalapeños, & mushrooms. It also came w/ fries, rice, beans, & corn tortilla. I liked what I ordered & it was pretty filling. I didn't finish it. The server was very nice, attentive, & got our order correct, checking on us multiple times. We had a big group of 8, but 9 including my infant son. After 7 ppl the gratuity is included in the bill. Our bill came out to $350 including tip. The only thing I must say is we tried splitting it between four cards. The server was stating their system was down & it was unable to split the four cards "due to the tip." Which I am just assuming is because she wanted a cash tip. Because when we told her to split the bill without the tip, she was able to do so. We put a cash tip. I didn't really mind since she was super nice. I forgot her name. But I would recommend here. Will be coming back. Food was good, service was great, band was also great.

HORRIBLE SERVICE Usually the service is really good, we love to go there and eat out! Although after today, my opinion has changed. we arrived and was told there was selected seating only after we asked if we can sit by the window. 30min went by and not one waitress asked for our drink order. We had to look for one and give them our drink order. She continued to come back to the table next to us but never gave us attention. when another waitress came, we asked for our drinks and ordered our food (she said she will have that on order and prepare our drinks asap) 15min went by and nothing. the first waitress came back and finally asked for our drink order... (seems like there was no communication between the workers) we told her that we already let the other waitress know of our order. 15min go by and finally our drinks show up.... (keep in mind we usually go and order the same drink every time.' cheve mango) this is what they brought us and we did not drink it after we told them that's not our drinks. picture is included of what they brought us and what they thought was acceptable to serve, nothing but foam! finally our food shows up and we begin to eat. we flag down the waiter again and tell her that we will not be drinking those drinks since that's not what we ordered. she proceeds to tell us that we have the correct drinks even after we explained that those aren't what we ordered. We order a water and pacifico instead. she proceeds to bring the water right out and we begin to eat again. after 15min passed i got fed up and asked for my pacifico that was never brought out. keep in mind we are almost half way done eating. the waiter then said she will bring us silverware for our main dish and never came, so we had to ask a male waiter for the silver ware. finally we were all done and the waiter insisted that we pay for the drinks (2 chevemango) that we ordered but were made completely wrong and mostly foam. We asked to speak with the owner and the waiter CAMILA said she was in charge and that we can speak with her after her AND the other waiter LYLA were the two main waitress that did a horrible job. Keep in mind there was another family that came in and sat by the window seats and nothing was said to them, they actually got there after us and got the food before us. 6/17/23

Decided to give the place another shot. Im just so saddenned about this place because it used to be so great where you could reserve tables to eat and watch big boxing fights on their screens. The food is still damn good, service was a bit better this time than my last time, but the food took soooo damn long to come out, like almost two hours. I was getting full eating their chips and salsa. I definitely need to find another Mariscos place soon. Ambiance was cool this time since I went on a Tuesday. I recommend you guys to come anytime from Mon-Thurs. Weekends are garbage cuz they have hella loud bandas playing where you cant even hear your own thoughts. When I go to eat I wanna be able to eat and talk and enjoy, Im not going for a damn explosive concert. Anyways It is really sad, I want to rate this place higher but the service has gone waaaay down.

I've never experienced such bad service. Perhaps because we were a party of over 8 people and the server knew the gratuity was included. I work in the industry so this isn't new to me. It took over 15 minutes to get drinks. I even asked where my drink was and she blamed it on the bar ... trying to make me look stupid and I saw her ring it in right after, she clearly forgot, I complained about the service and she separated my check from the rest of the tables because she didn't want to lose her tip. The manager (a man) didn't seem to care either. We all wanted to order more drinks but decided to cash out and when I tell you the check came faster than the drinks. Point is, expect terrible service if you're a party over 8. Kamilah, you were trash, if you get her ask for a new server. You would think at her grown age she'd be more experienced. The service is horrible I brought my family here for Mother's Day today and it was horrible, the lady attending us got mad that we talked to the boss about our drinks and food after that she started giving us attitude and looks when she brought our drinks.

This business is outrageous it's super slow and the costumer service is even more outrageous the worker are to busy looking cute instead of attending us, the food is good but the service sucks a lot, it was mother days and they're super slow they should be on point attending us.

Got there we got a table they took like 20 min to get out order and it was not even busy. Other 20 min later they brought all my friends their food except mine ( I order first). I was trying to get a hold of the server and nobody had a answer or saying what happened. At the end of the night when we got the check you are obligated to give 15% or + tip. I didn't think we had the best service but still gave her a tip. She came back and said that we didn't give her enough that that was no even the 15 %. I know it there job and I don't refuse tipping server but her service was awful.

Ceviche was good tasted fresh. the ambiance was good we went for my brothers birthday they had Banda and music it was good. The service okay nothing to good nothing to bad. Little pricy but what can you expect from a mariscos over not to bad

This place was disappointing. They had live "Banda", but I wouldn't consider the group playing a Banda. I ordered a tostada de ceviche which was ok, but was mainly just cucumber. They took an hour to bring out my sisters food and when they brought it out it was cold which was disappointing. I was excited when I saw my margarita because it looked really good, but tried it and wished I hadn't ordered it. The margarita was very bland and has no flavor. It didn't taste like strawberry nor did it taste like it had any alcohol in it which sucked. I would not recommend this place.

La comida y el servicio 10/10. Los camarones cucaracha son un must have! Literal todo estaba riquísimo y la mesera super atenta.

My experience was absolutely fantastic. Customer service was incredibly great. Monica (our server) went above and beyond to make our visit memorable. I'm already planning our next visit. I will definitely return soon, Thank you Monica!

Came for a birthday dinner told hostess about it she said they had a cake and shot for Birthday person which we never got the waitress kept forgetting our stuff , she didn't even bring us napkins our sister-in-law had to get up and get them and when it came to pay the bill she kept coming back to recieve payment yet when we were waiting for our food or drinks or eating she wouldn't come near us to ask if we needed anything and the cherry on top was when check came we were told one price, waitress comes back says it's a new price and didn't give us our old checks to compare they said they through it in the trash IN THE TRASH and the price was almost 80$ more, sorry but I will not be coming back. Waitresses need better training especially when it comes to customer service. If I could give a 0 I would.

Location. 2 stars Very few parking Not sure if is. Restaurant or a Bar. Unprofessional waitress... Place looks Getto!!! Sorry 1st and last time when I got to the small parking lot I should have made a U-Turn but I was invited with family but it will be the last, No ...... never again I was not Confortable at all. We just had some drinks and an avocado with lots of onions that we never touched...

Never again will i come here , mango margarita is wack as hell it don't even taste like a margarita or tequila, when i asked the waitress to bring me something else she came back with and attitude and said they could make a new one but we would still be charged for it regardless. I simply said why if it's not my fault this drink doesn't taste like anything. .. needless to say this waitress had a rude tone and i do not recommend anyone to come here . Not worth it at all .

Unless y'all wearing a teeny tight dress, y'all can't dance. But wait for the one female that everyone knows walk-in here and dance, it's okay all of a sudden for everyone to dance. My cousin and his date were dancing 15 minutes bedsore it was all of a sudden prohibited to dance. Other than that, camarones revolcados are great.

Ill give 2 stars because the waitress was nice and the tamariando micheelada was great. I won't say much more, but I'll just leave a picture of how they served my husbands tacos.

Trust in the reviews! This place has guards and I'm almost positive they are there to try and keep the piece after legally robbing you. Music is so ridiculously loud and the waitresses gave the worst attitudes. Our table had ordered Micheladas that were disgusting. We told the waitress who either pretended not to hear us or really just didn't give a ****. We decided to go directly to the bartender and let him know he was kind enough to remake the Micheladas and informed us the ones we had been given were premixed and was not made fresh and he apologized for the inconvenience. HOWEVER, the waitress saw we had new cups and added them to our tab even though the originals remained unfinished because they were so awful!

This is ok, not great but not bad either, I had a campechana cocktail wich it is as ok.. it lacked in flavor for my taste buds, however my sisters had fish ceviche tostada and they both said it was really good. The piña colada wasn't that sweet for me was like having a milk slushy but that's because I like sweet drinks, if you're not a sweet person then it might be perfect for you . From 1 to 10 my rating it's about 5. The waitress, we didn't get her name but she is as really nice and kept catering us making sure we were doing fine at our table.

So I came here and ordered to go around 5-6pm on a weekday. I ordered the stuffed shrimp rapped in bacon (4piece) and well it came with beans and rice. I only like the shrimp. Rice could be better and beans where bland. Then I also ordered a caldo de pescado (fish soup) and dude we all loved it. See we come from Acapulco Guerrero and it's hard to find a good place out to eat that makes the broth part how it's supposed to be. Not like just water with very little tomato and seasonings. The veggies where on point. I did read ratings while waiting and dam! I can only agree on the owner. If the lady I saw is the actual owner or manager she needs to humble herself. Cause I always say it works both ways! It's your business but also your source of income and on my side I'm buying food made by this place. Saving me time and spoiling me. Know I don't know how it gets at night. But I do wanna recommend as I do work near by and started recommending this place. Get more kitchen staff as needed on busy days! Some people did complain about this and the crab legs being super salty. Yet that's another story. I did see and hear on another hand they had bomb ass music. I did wanna dance with my daughter but we just stayed out. Server was eh ok.

I 100% recommended this place. The food was delicious and the music did not disappoint. We went to celebrate a birthday and it was quite special. The service was top notch and we had a great time.

Came for a drink and order some tostadas de Camaron idk if I order that or just onion and cucumber tostada . No type of shrimp in it disgusting not good they should've work on their food not on the venue getting remodel. I would stick to just drinking here not eat 1 shrimp I took off this plate took 20 min to bring this?? Not presentable not worth time n value.. hmm once again sticking to drinking and listening to the live music Shrimp cocktail my friend order too watery why? Idk. No type of flavor and not worth it's price . Shrimp looked burned and not good. Definitely not worth what we had!

We were a party of 5 and we waited about 20 minutes. I ended up going to the bartender and asking for service. Finally once waitress can by and took out drink order and we told her we wanted to order food. She took the order and we asked for more drinks that took forever. The services is horrible.

IF I COULD PUT ZERO STARS I would !! HORRIBLE SERVICE. My friends and I got this to-go for lunch. We ordered a full order of Aguachiles and got nothing but VEGETABLES. We called in to speak to the manager to give me what was paid for or a refund. I was told to call the next day at 2PM when manager is in. I gave them a call and was placed on hold while the manager came to the phone. First they tell me the manager is there and then all of a sudden, they said there is no manager and they don't know when she would come in. All they did was laugh among themselves and hung up the phone multiple times. The manager and her waitresses are RUDE, period!!! They don't treat a customer the way they should be treated! Take your money ELSEWHERE!

Well I'm a fan this place far and exceeds expectations! I really wanted a cocktail and a cocktail and that is exactly what I got I had never had a mango michealada concoction like I got but I wish I had had one before and will always want another one. She got a mango margarita which was amazing, the food matched even better I got compechana which is a delicious cocktail Of shrimp calamari oysters and pulpo she got a taco combo of marlin and shrimp and beans and rice and cleaned the plate lol what more can be said...gracias por todos!

Thalia did an amazing job. Helped me with questions I had. Didn't get no bad service. Would come back again
