This place is the best! Period! We had never been and brought my mom in for her birthday dinner during the week and the restaurant is Beautiful, the service is great, the drinks are authentic and made well, the food is absolutely delicious and large servings. As if this already isn’t enough, then the mariachis showed up, sang to my mom and we were completely surprised when the waitresses put on HAPPY BIRTHDAY song with reggaeton beat and brought my mom a slice of birthday cake with a sparkler! 🍰 🎇 This is how you treat people. If you’re looking for great food and an all around great experience check this place out.

First time coming to this restaurant. Service and food were exceptional! Our waitress Sujhey was outstanding!

I took my mother in law for her birthday our first time there and they went all out and we had a great experience. We will definitely come back! I’m a huge fan of Mariscos and my favorite dish is aguachile. Here I experienced a new aguachile with mango. It was so delicious 🤤 and I want to come back to try something new.

Came back to brings friends from out of town & just like my first visit, everything was amazing. Vale our server was very attentive and took good care of our group. Food was delicious. Seafood will always be pricy but well worth when the product is great. Aguachile Verde is my favorite & cucarchas are a must when coming here. Thank you Vale for making my out of town friends feel welcomed.

The food is always fresh. The menu has a variety for the ones that don't like to eat seafood. (Like my daughters !) Music can be a little too loud on the weekends. Best to go during the weekdays when it is not so crowded.

Last night we tried this place. The food was really good but pricey! Keep note that the prices online are NOT correct. Inside the restaurant are way higher. When we got there we got sat right away (it wasn't busy). Then our server greeted us, and asked us what we wanted to drink. I asked her if they had mineral lemonade. She said yes and I asked her to bring two. When she came back with the drinks they were NOT mineral lemonade. It was regular. When I asked her about it she had the nerve to pretty much blame it on me then she said she didn't hear me. Ok.... When we asked for recommendations of course she offered us the most expensive seafood cocktail ($45) yes. $45. We ended up ordering it and a couple more things. Before she left to put our order in, I asked her for some things I wanted her to bring with my food. It was 4 things. I did it because I work as a server and I know it can be tiring when people ask me for several things one by one. So, to avoid her make several trips to the kitchen I told her what I needed. She looked at me surprised and almost with a mocking smirk. When she came back with our food (2 seafood cocktails first) she gave us a couple of spoons only. And while she was putting on the table the condiments I requested, she asked me if she didn't forget anything but the tone she used and face was almost like 🙄. I told her everything was fine. A few minutes later she brought my main dish, breaded shrimp with a side of rice and salad. She was ready to leave and I asked for a fork. "Oh you want a fork??? Sure." I guess she wanted me to eat my shrimp and salad with a spoon. She brought it and then she disappeared for a long time. I was struggling to cut the breaded shrimp with just a fork and then my friend asked her to bring us a knife. She went and grabbed one, DROPPED IT ON THE FLOOR THEN PICKED IT UP AND BROUGHT IT TO ME. I saw her! She asked us if we were ok and at that point, I didn't even look at her cause I was beyond annoyed and upset. We finished our food and asked for our check. OWNER, TAKE SPECIAL NOTICE OF THIS: When she brought the ticket, half of the items where not there ($50). And she said that there was an error with the system. I asked her how the computer could print half of our order but then the rest wasn't there and she proceeded to show us the price of the rest on her phone calculator and cashed us out. We only left her $5 tip instead of the 20% we usually give specially when we like the service. When we headed out, a male server apologized for the issue with the ticket and told us that she messed up with a previous table and she had to pay for it with her own cash, all while laughing about it. I couldn't not believe this place. I don't know, sounds sketchy to me, maybe they're doing little things like that to pocket some money. Even though the food was actually really really good, it was very pricey and the service was beyond awful. Those servers need some serious training when it comes to customer service skills. Being a good server is not about selling the most expensive dishes only, it's about to make the guests welcomed, it's about being attentive, check with them often and bring to the table everything they might need previously WITHOUT THE CUSTOMER ASKING YOU FOR IT OVER AND OVER OR AFTER YOU DROP IT ON THE FLOOR. Patron, echale ojo a tus empleados.

Come here occasionally with my wife when on this side of town. We always have great customer service, excellent food, and drinks! Really enjoying coming here and always leaved stuffed. Keep up the great work!

I've been to this Mariscos many times. They also have a location in Glendale. They recently renovated. The place is really nice. The food is always amazing. The aqua chili sushi is a must try so the Cucaracha's.

I really wish they kept their original menu and kept it different from the Glendale location. They've remolded and turned it upscale. The prices have increased so much and they took items off their menu that I loved. No complaints with service and there was no wait as it's not packed like it was before. If they still have their food truck with original menu I'd be happy to eat there.

We had the the best food, and enjoyed the band playing . It was packed too!!! It smelled delicious every plate coming out of the kitchen was looking mighty fine . We will definitely be back... Just wanted to give a positive note and quick shout out about how delicious this place is. Go watch the band and have a drink and a delicious meal. Enjoy Let me know your thoughts

Horrible service, the management and the server Dulce was just laughing in our face what kind of joke is that? Food a joke and prices are not what the menu online says that's false advertising, horrible place please do your self a favor and spend your money in a different local restaurant where they care for the clients not this joke of a place.

Paid $22 for camarones a la diabla. Got home and saw it only only came with 6 shrimp. Really disappointing. Won't be returning.

Went to the new restaurant on 59th ave and Glendale their customer service sucked! The restaurant wasn't even packed And they took so long Just to get our drinks out.. the food almost an 1 hour 30 min for them to serve it to us..really bad experience

Good food. Great atmosphere. Sushi and Mexican? My fav combos. Can't go wrong with this menu.

My first visit was an unpleasant visit I will not be returning. Waitress wasn't being attentive didn't come to ask us if we were okay or if we needed something else. Really bad costumer service, place seemed to be understaffed, walked in and we had to wait for a table to be cleaned. We were going to pay with card and they said their debit machine was broke asked us for cash and we didn't have cash and she told us there was nothing she could do.

this place is expensive and one order over the phone for 2 carne asada tacos lasted over 20 minutes because they did not know English

The food is good but there is too much flies. The server takes forever to check if you need anything. We been waiting for the server which was just in the back just chatting with their coworkers. Bad customer service

Love the service here. Everyone gets treated like family. The food is great too- I've had some seafood plates, but the sushi is even better!

Bad food & even worse service. My daughter took my mom to eat here for her birthday & they both said the food was nasty. My mom isn't picky about her food so for her to say it wasn't good is a lot. Not once did the waitress go check on them for refills or anything, she was more concerned about the male customers. My mom ordered shrimp & octopus cocktail & the juice was a weird orange color & tasted weird. Needless to say, we will never be coming back. I would give zero stars if I could.

I've been here several times with my family. The food is good and prices are reasonable. The last time we were here the waitress did not take my sons order. I asked her and said she took it. She brought one plate of food every 5 minutes. It was 10 of us. By the time she brought all the plates the others food was cold. So almost all of us had our food except my son. So I asked her and she seemed confused. She told my she took my sons order but she didn't. So we all had the food except my son. We had to wait almost 15 minutes for him to get it since he ordered sushi. I gave 4 starts because I love their food but service really needs to be upgraded.

Disgusting Dirty shrimp. They don't clean their shrimp. Nothing is fresh. There were flys all over the restaurant. I would not recommend

The sushi is great even though it takes a while for them to serve it. It took us about an hour to get our food but it was worth it.

Very rude service lady called ahead of time to order but she didn't give me a price for ceviche even tho I clearly asked her she gave me estimated wait time instead went down there only to receive attitude from her for not understanding me.

They have some of THE BEST Mexican Sea Food in the valley! I love going to places and trying their Micheladas and theirs blew me away! The presentation was awesome: shrimp, celery, beer upside down in the cup, and bold flavor!!! This is a place that you come to enjoy the food and live bands on weekends. The waitresses could use some training on improving their customer service, but the food makes up for it. Promise! The flavors are authentic, the seafood is as fresh as it can get for the Arizona Desert, and the portions are large. Their deep fried sushi is pretty awesome! I especially like the one that is baked!

This place is horrible the customer service suck, they don't even acknowledge you,I went in once and the waiter seen me standing there as she continued to take her selfie who does that! With that kind of service no I wouldn't go back I don't recommend it at all.

This place it's getto as hell, and they have band that it's laud as hell. I think my ear drums were going to explode. I don't even like band music. Ugh. I will never come back to this place.

It was my first visit at this restaurant and I thought about it twice.! The reason why it's because in this type of restaurants the service is lousy, I like to visit new places and discover great places to eat. I asked my waitress that if I could do something a little different in my order and They replied that the cooks did not want to do it. That the tima that in restaurants always there the same story that the cooks want to do what they want, attention to this..!! Business owners if they want to increase their sales with this type of staff will not get very far just that their sales and customers end up elsewhere. Thank You ((Maria)) for providing excellent service. My question that if because I give a star is by the attitude of a mediocre cook who says no, you can. The service and attitude of customer satisfaction is first.

So much hype for bland food & bland service. You get your chips & salsa (good). Ordered a Med. Coctel (shrimp & octopus) it was overloaded with cucumber, tomato, and onion and found 5 shrimp were in it. (Sorry don't have pic of the coctel). Ordered a fish taco, that was decent. Ordered a fish fillet empanizado (breaded fish) that was ok. Expected something more appealing because of all the hype this place gives out. It was not what I visually expected. It came with a side of rice(I've tasted better) & a side salad (it didn't come with dressing & I wanted dressing, the server never showed up to ask if we needed anything after we were served. When we arrived there was about 3 tables being serviced. It was not busy at all for us to have be unattended after being served our food. Drinks: Lemonade-tasted more like water had to squeeze lemon in to get lemon flavor. Bottle coke- bottle was hot and was given a cup with ice. I like to drink my coke from the bottle, personally. Will never eat or give this place another try. First impressions are lasting impressions.

The service was mediocre, the waiters made no attempt and being welcoming. They serve chips, salsa and left over tortillas. Found a half eaten tortilla in the chips...the prices are expensive, as expected for marisco places, but I wouldn't waste a dime here. Novillero kills this place...

Terrible sushi. The rice was not completely cooked. We waited an hour for our food then, had to leave since it tasted disgusting, the rice was crunchy, and we couldn't wait any longer. I do not recommend their Sushi at all. Save your time and money.

This place is old stinks they are very slow they get mad when yu ask for any lil help plus what it looks like the owner is drinking there with his friend not a comfortable place at all

I only get my sushi here, the best! Cant find any other places that come close to it. I always order ahead and they always have it ready for me when I get there. The place is always clean and staff is friendly .

First and last time I will ever go there!! Can't even have a conversation in that place with the whole 10 man banda they have inside!! A bunch of young ass wanna be ballers trying to impress other men. Food is terrible to add to the insult.

Service was not attentive which I understand cause got busy the food was okay but this is my complaint. When got the bill it was 2 of us was over $100 bucks. Which no problem but when I asked for my itemized receipt. They charged $9 bucks for the xtra limon I asked for. No mames you can buy 20 limon's at $1 at any Ranch market. Won't be going back no regresare !

I order online and pick up at the drive thru and the person who handle our food she was very rude this place dose not have good customer service even tho I tip her she didn't even say thank you I wonder how it would be if I eat inside

This place had some of the worst customer service I'd ever experienced. They don't acknowledge you when you walk in. Our waitress never came by to check if we were doing good or if we needed something else. We had to keep asking other waitresses for things we needed that our waitress forgot to leave. Don't get me wrong the food wasn't bad, but I definitely wouldn't go back.

The prices were too high for what they provided. I love mariscos but was definitely disappointed with this place. Some one else said it was too much hype for something so bland and I agree. The greatest disappointment was the fact that they brought my michelada like 20 minutes AFTER they brought the food. Sad to say, first and last time I come here.
