Been coming here since the Tacos Dorados was $8. Now at $14, the tacos are still delicious and some of the best you’ll find in the Bay Area for this style. The flavors remind me so much of fried dim sum. Savory, shrimpy and crispy. The chili de arbo salsa compliments it to a tee.

Most friendly service I get any where. Prices are good. Hours very convenient. They close at 6 except Sundays. But come here for the super campechana or mojarra frita

I'm so happy to have found a place for bomb fish tacos that won't break the bank. I was definitely skeptical on eating seafood from a food truck but decided to take the risk after reading the great reviews for this truck. It was located alone on el camino and actually had a small crowd at around 2pm. There is a bench located in front of the truck. We ordered 2 fish tacos each and 1 order of the shrimp tacos to share (4 shrimp tacos in an order). There were churros on the ledge that looked good, but we weren't sure how long they had been sitting there. They also had flan and other drinks in the front of the truck. We noticed everyone with the coctels and the tostadas looked really appetizing. The food came out super quick and we went to eat in our car since it was a bit crowded. We both loved the fish tacos. The fish was freshly fried and the sauces really complimented the taco. It also came with avocado for free! The shrimp was worth trying and I was definitely impressed that they gave a slice of avocado with each taco. The shrimp wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped, but the spicy sauce went well with it. I was so impressed by this food truck. The food quality is great and it's super cheap!! Definitely a new go-to spot for fish tacos.

The food is here great! Big portions and pretty inexpensive, especially for seafood. There is always a line, which is a good sign.

Arrived by car 30 minutes before closing. We had a parking spot right in front of the taco truck on the street. I found this place searching Google seafood restaurants near me! It was to my surprise that it was a taco truck! No worries, we ordered the tacos dorados. They come in a plate of four for $14. They had avocado and the best tasting shrimp combined with the crunch of the taco shell! So good. Came with red salsa that turned up the heat. The tacos were like the kind of food that you keep eating even though you are full!! I felt great after four, but honestly could have had another four! There are plastic chairs to sit down, but it's way better to take the food to go. I'm glad Google suggested this place, perhaps it was the best seafood near me!

Not bad for a truck with seafood. Just wish the oysters were colder... but again, not bad for a food truck.

I came across this place randomly because I needed a place to sit and rest they were so kind, the Tilapia tacos were amazing- I inhaled the food. 10/10!

It's a fantastic food truck with a simple menu limited but the food is very high quality. I got the ceviche cocktail it was tender and had great flavor.It was a very good size portion and refreshing. I had the fish tacos as well, they were nice but a little more on the mild side. This will become a staple snack stop for me going forward.

Been meaning to leave a review for this food truck. They only have seafood no meat. Their fish tacos are so good. The shrimp tacos are crispy tacos. They're on the corner of San Luis and El Camino. You can call ahead and order over the phone

Super fresh ceviche and their tacos dorado is the best around town. Easy parking and great prices! And they have so many hot sauce options.

Fantastic ceviche/aguachile. My wife loves acid-cooked seafood and we have literally tracked this truck down so she could get her fix. It's pretty spicy if I remember correctly, but it's tasty for sure. No comment on ambiance or service; it's a food truck.

My coworker put me on to this food truck located in San Bruno on El Camino. We go every couple of months to get the Tacos Dorados, a rolled up tortilla with shrimp and fried with sliced avocado on top and some serious heat for red sauce on the side. Solid, 4.5 overall. I'm a fan. I also like to get a couple of fish tacos to go along with it. Solid breaded tilapia, pico de galla, avocado, mayo and secret sauce. Cost is fair at about $3 per taco. My coworker also likes to get the ceviche to take home, it's a plastic container filled with your favorite seafoods. When I tried it, it was really tasty. A container runs around $18. The service is solid, you order from the window and get your order within 5-10 mins depending on how busy they are. Parking is on the street, it's fairly plentiful and free. The furthest we've walked is about 1 block, maybe a block and half, but most of the time it's right near the truck. They do have plastic chairs to sit on if you want to eat there, but it's not comfortable. We usually grab and go back to the office.

Maybe it was an off day, but I didn't enjoy the shrimp tacos that they're famous for or the ceviche. The ceviche came off as very fish, and the fried shrimp mayo like tacos were even worse. They didn't taste fresh at all. You know that seafood slimy taste, that's what this tasted like. I ended up throwing it away in the trashcan because I didn't want to get sick.

Mariscos El Pariente is my go to spot for one thing, and one thing only. Tacos Dorado. The creamy shrimp filling encased in a delicious crunchy outer shell is to die for! The avocado with the mayo and the spicy hot sauce is the perfect combo. The iconic blue truck is not hard to miss and is a block away from the old Fat Wong restaurant on El Camino. Be aware there is typically a wait for this spot but it is well worth the wait.

The seafood is fresh and not frozen, from what I can tell. Today I had the tacos dorados and the tostada aquachile. The taco were crazy good and perfectly cooked. The taco shell was crispy, while the shrimp was not dried out! These tacos have to be the best thing on the menu. The Agua Chile, I hate to say, was below average. Yes there was plenty of fresh shrimp, but there wasn't enough juice and the onions were still raw. It seems like it may have been recently prepared, because the onions were harsh. The service was great. When I drove by, it seemed like they had a short line and I wasn't gonna stop. Four blocks away, I changed my mind, pulled over and called my order in. By the time I got there and parked, I walked up to the truck, paid and I was off. I'm definitely going to go by again for a third time. My heart is set on finding a tostada that I enjoy. And you better believe I'm grabbing some more of those tacos!

Boom Shaka laka ambiance was gooooood if you know what I mean ;) food was tacos they were bery soggy :( but I still eat bc I am hungry

Our 3rd time here.. I always get the tostada especial (octopus & shrimp) but today, I decided to try the tostada salpicon (imitation crab, shrimp, octopus)... it was a huge letdown because it was like 85 percent imitation crab and few small pieces of shrimp/octopus. I didn't get to finish all of it and threw it away. Next time, I'll stick to the especial! Overall, it's a cool place when you're craving ceviche. They are generous with the tostadas- you can always ask for more! Will try the seafood cocktail next time. Parking is easy but the street is really busy.

I got the Tacos Dorados and they are gooood. These deep fried tacos are filled with plump shrimp and some like salsa or something that keeps the inside juicy. Avocado slices come with it too and it's a nice fresh addition to the fried flavor. The hot sauce it comes with is pretty hot but goes well with the tacos if you like a kick! They came out pretty quick like 5 minutes or so and the guy working was nice. The truck was parked on El Camino like a block from the location in yelp so it should be easy to find!

Tried the aguachiles from here and they were really good. A friend had an order of the crispy shrimp tacos and he also said they were really good and would recommend them. Overall great food, service was good as well since our orders were made fresh.

I love their shrimp cocktail. Flavorful and fresh. Perfect lunch for me since I didn't want anything too heavy. Comes with tostadas and crackers.

Came upon this Marisco Truck few years back and it's never a Miss. The sea food is always fresh and hits the spot every time. Definitely will recommend

This place was introduced by a friend and since then I continue to go if I'm in the area. This place never misses. My personal preference is having some lime and sour cream with my tacos. I was able to call for pick up. There is usually parking around the area.

Mariscos El Pariente where have you been all my life? How did I only come here just now? We had the Tacos Dorados and they were fantastic! We also had the Tostada Salpicon and Tostada Especial and they were great as well! We'll definitely come back. Also, we learned that they now have a truck in San Mateo near Central Park. We will have to be in the lookout for it. UPDATE: We found the San Mateo location and are posting a separate review for that location!

Anyone who lives or works in this area knows Mr.Baltasar and this truck. Those deep fried tacos are something else. Please don't raise the prices :)

Had the fried shrimp tacos Theyre kinda similar to the ones in LA but they're missing the sauces, will be back to try other items

So glad we have a seafood truck in the Peninsula. It was very easy to find on El Camino, you can't miss the bright blue truck! The people working were nice and friendly. I came on a Sunday and there was a short line. Made me happy to see locals supporting locals. I was excited to try the tacos dorados. My first time trying crispy shrimp tacos and I liked it a lot! The sauce was sooo yummy and loved they added the avocados to it. I also got the special and aguachiles. My favorite was the aguachiles. Super delicious! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Definitely coming back

Wow! Los tacos dorado de camarones were so good. The shrimp had lovely flavor. There are 4 and they cost $9. The fish tacos are 3$ each. They are not too salty and they taste fresh. Comes with avocado, cream, and pico de gallo. Love their assortment of seafood. So delicious!

Best Mexican style seafood spot. With their generous servings of fish or shrimp ceviche and their aguachiles that delivers a kick to your meal. Definitely a top Bay Area recommendation

A humble food truck doing heroic work on seafood-forward Mexican food truck food on El Camino Real in San Bruno. I'm here at least once a week at this point. Always lightning fast, and even moreso if you go for the tacos dorados, which I often do--I was exploring the menu for a while, but then I got hung up there: four perfectly constructed shrimp tacos dunked every so quickly in oil to crisp up the tortillas a bit, with enough avocado shavings to round them out and a fantastic salsa for dipping. A hearty lunch but not too much, and you can't beat the prices, though it seems they did recently bump up by what seems like $1 per item. Entirely justified; it's still the best taco deal for hundreds of miles in any direction. I've also had good experiences with the tacos de pescado, before the tacos dorados became such a distraction. Tostada options are not bad as well, if a little basic. Much more Spanish spoken in line than English, and this is one of the few Bay Area spots that could hold its own among the options I enjoyed in former lives in places with real competition like Houston, Phoenix, and LA. Do it; you will be glad you did!

Bought some shrimp tacos for to go, when I got home I see that the avocado is spoiled. Why would you put something that's not good on your food when you can clearly see it's bad. Not happy and not coming back.

The food was mid . It's edible and might eat there again but the ceviche could use a bit more flavor , too plain for my liking .

This is such a gem. Food is phenomenal and fresh. Prices are very reasonable. I'm always satisfied when I come. You will not be disappointed.

Tacos dorados.... May have made me see God. Those things are insanely good. The tortilla is lightly fried as are the top shrimp. The shrimp inside are absolutely succulent and in a wonderful sauce. It came with avocado and a side of sauce which wasn't even needed. A squeezed lime made it even better. I adore this place and will return whenever I can. The fish taco was good too.

Unassuming food truck on El Camino that truly has the best crispy shrimp tacos (Tacos Dorado)! $9 for a box of 4 loaded crispy shrimp tacos topped with slices of perfectly ripe avocado! What more could you ask for?! Seems like each order is made to order because each box we got (came with my bf and sister) the tacos were piping hot!! Parking is easy (we came Friday dinner time) and is well worth the drive from wherever you are. 10/10 recommend and already looking forward to my next visit

Mexican-style seafood from a food truck? You'd better believe it! The marinated seafood selection here was super on point. The aguachiles consisted of raw shrimp marinated in lemon juice and serrano/habanero chiles, red onion, and topped with avocado, and it packed a surprisingly spicy kick--I was sweating for quite a while after taking my first bite! I also tried the salpicon, a jumbled mix of ceviche, chopped shrimp, octopus, imitation crab, pico de gallo, and topped with avocado. Though much milder than the aguachiles, the flavors also hit the spot! You can order any of these on a tostada, which adds a nice crunch, and the prices were super reasonable as well, especially for seafood.

So stopped by the new location since I was working next door. I was surprised by the price difference of the Tacos Dorados. I understand that prices have gone up but a jump from $7 to $12 because it's a new location is a bit unreasonable. Guess I'll stick to San Bruno location cause they taste the same. Also be aware it's CASH ONLY in San Mateo as well.

Took Friday off to get my birthday weekend started and decided to try this food truck in San Bruno. I got the tostada salpicon (ceviche, shrimp, octopus, crab, avocado), and the seafood tasted fresh and delicious. I drizzled some of the hot sauce they had available in squeeze bottles at the truck on top, and that was also really good. I also ordered the tacos dorado (deep fried shrimp tacos w/ avocado), and they were quite tasty too. Totally pigged out haha. It's a very unassuming food truck parked on El Camino Real in San Bruno and worth the trek if you're in the mood for seafood tacos and tostadas.

Bring cash cuz this delicious Mariscos truck only takes cash. I had the shrimp aguachile and the cocktail with shrimp and squid. Very good flavor in both, the aguachile was especially spicy n tart with lime, just the perfect combination. The shrimp cocktail was generously sized, And the flavor was really good. Sometimes other places will give you a bland base and mostly water with no shrimp. Not this place. Well worth it. The owner (?) is real friendly, the prices are reasonable. For a big cocktail and a aguachile tostada I paid $17. And most importantly, the portions of the food are good and taste is amazing!

Amazing ceviche and fish taco truck. I had the fish taco $2.50 and the fish ceviche tostado $3. The fish taco was freshly fried and very tasty. The fish ceviche also tasted very fresh

Finally came here for the first time yesterday and I was impressed!! I ate the food so fast I couldn't take a picture. I got the crispy shrimp tacos which were very interesting. It wasn't my favorite dish because I ate them when they were already cold but they were flavorful. I also got the shrimp ceviche. The shrimp ceviche needed more seasoning it was so bland. I was disappointed because my friend said it's usually their best dish. We also got shrimp and octopus tostada and it was absolutely delicious. I recommend trying this if you like seafood

Nothing like a hot Tacos Dorados right out of the fryer and a cold bottle of coke! The crispy tortilla and fresh shrimp, along with the flavorful sauce and fresh avocados go so well together. Next time I'll pour over some Coctel Campechana over these! Similar to my favorite Tacos Dorados spot in LA (Mariscos Jaliscos).

Not much Mariscos, if any, to compare with in the area but hits the spot. Difficult to compare to San Diego. Service is quick. Ceviche would have been better with more lime. Tacos Dorados and Aguachile are my thing-delicious. Service is good. Will be back.
