I had ceviche tostada mixta and they were great, my partner had shrimp tostadas he really enjoyed his food, the server was nice.

Service was good even despite it being busy! The server was nice! The place is not the cleanest..but other than that the shrimp ceviche was the only one I enjoyed! Good for a very hot day in the valley. My partner enjoyed the oysters a lot! The camarones ala plancha were cold and oily.. and the taco gobernador was a miss for me because it was also semi cold and oilier than others that I’ve tried in my opinion ): + the rice was super bland. I won’t be returning but my partner most likely will.

Came in for mariscos and left full, happy and at a great price. One of Fresno’s original marisco restaurants estilo Sinaloanse 10/10

Great ceviche and even better shrimp tacos. All the food was perfect, the waitress was bilingual and really nice. Small place and it was packed for good reason! Best seafood meal I’ve had bar in Fresno, Go try the Veracruzanos, fan freaking tastic.

Stopped here today. We're from Texas. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. We're glad we stopped here today. I highly recommend it. We are on a two week motorcycle vacation, and we like to find hidden gems like this one. 😀

The food was great ( food not expensive). The bathrooms are gross and on the outside of the building, don't go to the bathroom alone. If you ask for a soda they give you a can of soda no cup, no ice. The waitresses were awesome they accommodated our big party. Overall good place to eat but I won't be going back.

Kicked me out cause I got my son Wienerschnitzel and I went in to get me and my family food their said we had to leave cause we not allowed to bring in food but he was only 4 years old like he wants to eat mariscos crazy been their so many tines spent so much money their and got rejected services that’s sad now I know not to go their won’t say their food is bad their food good but the services bad come to los mariscos they won’t reject services

I've had much better much cheaper. The sauce for the tortilla chips was inedible just bad. The fish tacos were pretty good. That's about it. I ate there a few years ago that's why I stopped in. Probably won't go back.

5/13/25 Getting lunch! Ordered on Grubhub shrimp ceviche and chicken torta to split for lunch. Paid for it, received notification when it would be ready and went to get it. Arrived to pick it up via Drive-thru. Worker was kind and handed it over order with good day wishes! Lunchtime! Lunch split. Plenty! Shrimp ceviche was DELICIOUS! Fresh & flavorful! Even better with their hot sauces & crackers! Chicken Tortas 1/2 was too! Just tasty & GREAT! Mother said her hers was REALLY GREAT and she appreciated that the order was made exactly like asked. (No sour cream or oil.) GREAT service & GREAT lunch! HIGHLY recommended!

I recently went on a Monday afternoon, I understand and I get it.. it's Monday. I work at Starbucks so it can be draining. But, I was extremely upset. The server was not attentive. The chips were stale. The salsa had no flavor it was just creamy? Didn't even have a hint of spice. I got the fish tacos.. My tacos tasted as if the oil was old almost like they just re-fried it in old oil. 0/10. A ton of sour cream. I asked for a spicy chile because I love spice and the server said they had none. My boyfriend got the same thing and he was unimpressed. We left feeling unwell the rest of the day.

Stopped in for a quick bite and ordered a fish taco and spicy shrimp taco. The environment was pretty lively as there was a mariachi band playing inside on this Sunday afternoon. Service was friendly, and our food came out pretty quickly given the small order. The fish taco was pretty standard, while the sauce on the spicy shrimp taco was very good. This place seemed to be quite busy, so I would be interested to come back and try some other items.

Fresh seafood, excellent sauces and flavors. So many other dishes coming out of the kitchen looked and smelled so good. Definitely will be back for this more and try the tostadas and the molcajete. . Staff were friendly and everything was served quickly. Food and drink were great all around. It's easy to see how popular this place is. Karaoke on Saturday nights with drink specials.

All meals start of with Chips and homemade salsa that is soo good! The Micheldas are my favorite in Fresno and the torre is Perfect for 2 people with so much flavor.

Haven't gotten my food so I can't even review the quality of it. I placed my order at 3:00pm and I'm still waiting here at 4:00 an hour later and I have only gotten my drinks. No one has even come outside to let us know the hold up. They just gave me my food and there was no explanation or sense of remorse from the workers here, it's just common manners.

Went there the other day for tostadas of shrimp and Octopus but they served shrimp with 3 pieces of octopus. The service was the worst they have ever been from a lady that was very rude. I know now why she only works 3 days a week, she should not work there at all if she has that type of attitude towards the customers. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone!!! They deserve a ZERO instead of 1 star!!

He venido varias veces y cada vez la comida es peor esta vez pedi Coctel de Camaron y no estaba limpio el "clamato" sabía a agua no tenía buen sabor , la michelada tenía mucho hielo so por el precio la verdad no lo recomiendo

I just ordered 40.00 worth of garbage. I'm shocked by how bad this food was. I ordered a fish taco.The fish taco is a flavorless pile of mush. Omg! No seasoning and just disgusting. Can't even pick it up and eat it. The Chile relleno dish is completely burnt. What a waste of money. Shame on this restaurant for even sending out such nasty food. Would give zero stars if I could. Yuck!!!

The salsa is the best I've ever had! The carne asada burrito was moist & flavorful! Tacos were good! I will come back!

Fantastic family owned business with a delicious seafood menu! Love their Siete Mares soup and grilled combination seafood! Their service is fast and well worth the wait for their incredible food!!

Food and restaurant has changed. I used to loved it but portions and service have dropped and even for to go orders not enough salsa or napkins ‍.

So good we haven't found a good one since our favorite spot closed. This is very comparable we will be back a million times. Service was quick, feels like Mexico and home at the same time. Lots of seats. The shrimp cocktail was delicious too!

We eat here every couple of weeks. Pretty good for the most part, especially the grilled octopus. Their rice is BOMB. The tacos are a little hit or miss with the salt, but otherwise... decent place!

I have been here before and I usually get fish tacos and oysters. Went on Thursday but a day later I experienced symptoms of severe food poisoning. I thought it was something I ate prior but I had been eating at home and this place was the only time I ate out. Didn't believe it until my boyfriend started getting the same symptoms as me. Probably won't be going here again.

I've only ever gotten Asada tacos from here even though it's a seafood restaurant. Never ventured into anything else because the Asada tacos were already good. Stick with what you know, right? Wrong. Don't do that. They're a seafood place for a reason. The Asada tacos are also very tasty, but the other stuff is just as great maybe even better. I'm a visual person, I enjoy when restaurants offer pictures. And I saw the picture of the Camaron a la diabla and immediately knew that's what I wanted to try. It's saucy, spicy, kinda sweet--cut all that with some acid from the lemons they provide. Perfect. (5/5). I also got some grilled oysters. I do have to admit some of them were a wee bit over cooked . But I didn't care because they were seasoned so well. You get that smokey flavor from the grill, the nice seasonings they use(the seasoning kind of creates a crust on the oysters a bit--it's honestly the best part). The oysters didn't taste too oceany so if you've never had oysters this is a good beginning. (4/5). Lastly, the fish tacos just okay. This is what kept me from giving this place 5 stars. Fish will always have some sort of fishy taste but it was almost too fishy for me? Although the fish was moist, the taco was oddly dry. They put a sauce on it, I think it was crema but I didn't taste it. It needs sauce. I ended up putting the sauce from the shrimp on there and it was delicious, almost like it was complete. (2/5) Staff was great. Came in and seated immediately. Got us free chips and dip(which were also super delicious. I've never had a dip like that before. Or even tasted anything like it before--sometimes I just order chips and dip togo, it's that good). And got our drinks really fast. And our food came rather fast as well. Fast service. Mind you I came Sunday for lunch, they were pretty busy. A definite must try. I think I'll have to add this to my rotation of places to eat.

This place is definitely one of the best seafood's here in Fresno everything is fresh and delicious I order the seafood tower and Has so much food and it's delicious I will definitely come eat here again with my family and recommend for everybody to try it

I can't say enough about the shrimp ceviche. I have previously had the aguachiles which are also excellent. I'm glad I ordered the shrimp cevuche today because it ended up being just what I was hoping for and much more. The pepino was cut so nicely along with the tomato and cebolla. Presentation and taste are immaculate, to die for. I don't live in Fresno but every time I visit family now, we will be stopping here. It was also a favorite of my dear Uncle Russ who recently passed. I recommend the crackers with the ceviche and to use delicious home made tortilla chips. Pile on the ceviche to the chips and drizzle a little green habanero sauce on them if desired, it is so good, I can't wait to go back. Coke in a bottle is a nice touch too. The staff is top notch, our server was excellent. She's right you "can't go wrong" with the shrimp ceviche. Thanks El Pescador and staff for doing a phenomenal job.

after a long trip from sequoia National park, my family and I stopped at Fresno for the night and were contemplating where to eat. We stumbled across this restaurant and we're very pleasantly surprised. This spot had amazing food, fantastic service, and most importantly, air conditioning in the blistering Fresno heat. We ordered the fried fish filet plate, fish tacos, and the shrimp veracruzanos and each of these items were simply amazing. My personal favorite was the shrimp Veracruzanos plate. As someone who lives in Los Angeles and has had Mexican food very often, I can confidently say this spot is one of my favorites so far and would recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal. Service was fantastic as well.

Peor servicio Que eh recibido en un restaurante. Fui a comer aqui y le lleve un happy meal para mi nieta de 3 años Porque le habiamos prometido uno. Entramos al restaurante y nos habian sentado cuando viene una señora a corrernos Porque no esta permitido comida de otro lugar. Nos dijo que nos teniamos Que ir y no nos dio ninguna otra opcion. Le tratamos de explicar y muy grocera nos dijo Que los niños de ahi tienen Que comer lo Que venden ahi. No era necesario de ser tan groceros y corernos haci. Hay maneras de explicar las cosas y esq señora decidio corernos de el lugar. Worst service that I have ever received at a restaurant. I went to eat here and I walked in with a happy meal for my 3 year old grand daughter because we had promised her one. We had already been seated when a worker came to us and told us that we had to leave the restaurant. She told us we had to leave and had no other option. We tried to explain to her but very rudely she told us that kids had to eat food from their location no excuses. There was absolutely no need to be that rude and kick us out. There are different way to explain things instead of kicking us out.

never disappoints!! I always get the aguachilles, oysters, and Baja fish taco. Extremely happy about the oysters. They taste very fresh, they are big and for an unbeatable price. My favorite authentic Mexican food.

Went by recently and the food is still as delicious as how I remembered it. Staff was friendly and attentive. Portion sizes are the same, good amount. Can't wait to go back.

My fiancé and I were looking for marisco spots and happen to come across this location. Yelp and Google had different closing times so I called to confirm they were still open. When we arrived, Jocelyn greeted us and took our order. As we waited for our food to come out she brought freshly fried tortilla chips and some bomb sauce. My fiancé had the prawns in the garlic butter sauce and half a dozen of oysters. He said everything was great. Since I don't eat meat, I asked if they could make me a special order of asada fries and they did. I couldn't be happier, both the service and food was great!

As many times as I passed this place up I would have never guessed how good they really are. The food here was appetizing and abundant. I enjoyed it and will return. A band was about to start playing some live music. I just wish they had more drink options. Also, the outside tables were noticeably dirty. Quick service though.

I got 2 shrimp tacos an octopus taco and a swordfish taco and when I tell you are the best damn flavors I've ever had in my mouth, the staff was also very patient even though I had anxiety they were super nice and the restaurant itself is very clean

Perfect spot if you're really feeling Mariscos! Everything on the menu is Fish so don't go expecting anything else. Delicious Gobernador Tacos, Also shared a Aguachiles with my Brother. The Fish tasted fresh, the shrimp was a little small, but still good. If you're in the mood to drink, you have to try their Micheladas! Perfectly balanced, not overwhelmed with spices, it enhances the beer Perfectly! Good spot :)

Very similar to a solid mariscos spot in a big city. We had the shrimp tacos, ceviche and agua chilles. Great overall prices fair I would def give it a try if you like mariscos and haven't tried them yet.

Doesn't look like much when you come in it really small the patio is dusty and I ask for a Jamaica drink and the flavor was not good at all I had to share my husband's drink he had got a horchata I'm waiting in my food so let's see how it tastes looks and how long they take btw I ask for a cup of ice and it's taking for ever plus I ask for nopales in my molcajete which is mariscos she said I can't add non bcus there reserve for the regular Molcajete like I'm paying for my food I don't mind if I have to pay more but that's not an option here so far I don't like customers service

Let me start by saying i was disappointed by this restaurant, for been a seafood place they have no clue about it... we ordered quite a few plate but flavor was off not even close to taste like a seafood ; prep oysters were so dull , expensive with no flavor at all, they look nasty with all that stuff they add to them; with only lemon and salt would've been ok, shrimp tacos were so bad, i asked for a 7 mares (seafood soup) , oh my, it was horrible. It did not have flavor at all, it tasted like when you add salt to water and it had only a few shrimps and a lot of frozen seafood pieces that comes in a bag ( no fresh). And service: i am pretty sure it would be ok if they weren't that sad or angry.. i always say" leave your problems at home" smile! ... bad experience we had, hope they get better.

Now I remember why I have not been back to this restaurant in a long time. Today we decided to give a try again. Well total disappointment. I ordered a shrimp and fish tostada and my husband ordered 3 tacos. The restaurant is so load with the music you can't even have a conversation. Everyone is packed like sardines in there. We get our food after 20 min. I asked the waiter if I can have more avocado and some crackers they put a few little pieces on top . As I was prepping my tostada with avocado and ketchup I noticed a hair in the corner of the plate wasn't sure if it was mine or not Didn't complain. They made my tostada with more tomato then everything else. Still didn't complain. My husband liked the tacos they were nice a meaty and big. We finally get our check and noticed the waiter charged me $3.50 for the avocado and $1.50 for the crackers total charge for the tostada was $16 Mind you this place is in the not so great side of Fresno Blackstone/Barstow. When I went and complained that $16 was to much for a tostada and that the waiter should've told me the up charge on the avocado and crackers , the manager said That everywhere they charge extra and I'm the first to complain. I will not be back to this place they are a rip off and should disclose any up charge on items. That is stealing from the customers in my opinion.

Our go to place whenever my bf craves seafood. The staff is very friendly. You come in and it's self seating. It's a small place so when it gets busy it's hard to get around as the chairs and tables are close together. The orange sauce that comes with the complimentary chips is very delicious something I've never had in an Mexican restaurant, it has a garlic tastes it's something I always look forward to when I go in. I'm very curious as to how they make it, it's so good. I also enjoy their tacos. One of the best places for carne asada in my option however the taco price are about $2.50 but well worth it. The seafood platter is delicious there's different options there's shrimp,fish and a combo which is a bit of everything. They also give big portions. I would definitely recommend this place. It does get warm on a hot day, not too sure of their ac is working well.

My family and I have now been there a few times. The fish tacos are really quite good and the regular tacos are solid as well. It's not the cleanest place inside though and they don't really follow any safety protocols. For those reasons, I'm eating it 3 stars.

I was in the mood for something spicy, I've heard about this place but was skeptical . It was pretty loud but I took it as an attitude approach of the culture. If you aren't use to a loud household you may want to go by in the am. I didn't mind it, the service was great. She was a young girl but very attentive and she didn't come around so much that I was getting asked if everything was ok with food in my mouth. Their chips were fresh, but the salsa was pretty spicy. Seems like a mixture of habanero and a something else I wasn't able to pin point. I like hot things so watch out for the red salsa if you aren't a spicy lover. I was disappointed to hear they had no beef steak. I wanted to try their tacos. So instead I went with a chicken taco with the salsa on the side. Since I did ask for the salsa of it they gave me a serving on the side. which happens to be green and is not as hot as the red salsa, it's kinda limey. The chicken taco was served with onion and cilantro. The chicken was ok but went well with the salsa. Michelada was bomb! Served with tajin around the rim and shrimps. Agua chiles was exceptional. If you're into hot and lime dishes. The shrimp was soaked in lime juice with hot jalapeños and purple onions. Around the rim we're thin slices of cucumber and salt And wedges of avocado. The dis was mouth watery to say the least. If you're into Mexican styled seafood dishes you'll love this place for this dish. I'd like to return and try their fried fish.

Great find, a little crowded but great food and service. Clean place but looks a little rough, but don't let that scare you, they serve a mean carne asada super burrito and yummy Camarones al Patron. I will definitely be going back.

A couple of a colleague's coworkers recommended that we try El Pescador if we wanted some good authentic Mexican seafood. I'm a huge fan of Mexican food, but was curious about the seafood. Loved that the restaurant had an open patio area to eat and when we went today, the weather was gorgeous. It felt like we were actually on the coast. Service was prompt, and food came out quickly enough. But they got my order wrong. I had ordered a shrimp taco and they brought me a fish taco. The fact that they had swordfish on the menu was a nice surprise. I didn't care much for any of the sauces on the table as the green sauce for my asada taco was better than any of the bottled sauces. The beans were decent, but the rice was dry. Overall food was okay, portions were good. Tacos are bigger than expected. It wasn't something that stood or made me want to go "I have to go back there!" Would I recommend it? No, I don't plan on going back.

I enjoy talking to the servers, and their garlic shrimp is very good. Would recommend.

Food is great here, we've been coming here for a while now and the only thing that's lacking sometimes is the service, it's not consistent. Sometimes there's good days and bad but overall if you're looking for great Mexican seafood I recommend. They also have tacos, burritos, enchiladas which are very good

OMG i been wanting to come here today my first time LET ME TELL YOU it didn't disappoint The Al Pastor Tacos I don't like onions and With their sauce oh my gosh and I are so brought home shrimp burrito!
