I ordered Mar y tierra plate and it was delicious, very flavorful it came with homemade tortillas and the sauce for the chips was spicy 🌶 but good too, my boyfriend ordered shrimp cocktail, he loved it..

Good food,good music and dj Juan Roman with nice music and karaoke ...i recomended....

Food was great, live music and good atmosphere. Absolutely recommend this restaurant.

It was the first time eating here, and it would be the last time. Food was not that great for 2 tacos and a Plato de Cameron's a la cucaracha and a Michelada beer. We paid $ 60 doll. It was pretty expensive.

The worst service I have ever seen in my entire life. The food is good, but the waitresses are the worst..

My husband took the day off on Monday so we decided to go get mariscos. I'm on a lunch hour break and we decided this mariscos since it was close to home and we were just going to get a quick bite. It was loud lol party time! People were already drunk and drinking at 12pm. It reminded me of Tijuana hole in the wall restaurants. I'm not complaining I love that energy. The staff were nice and responsive regardless of the noise which again we didn't mind. We ordered to tostadas of ceviche. The portion was a larger size which was great not the freshness of the shrimp was not there. Dissatisfied with that order. If fresh, the flavor and veggies could have been a success. We had to go so we also ordered a fried tilapia with rice and beans. My husband says he would be back for that but not the ceviche. Adorable, good customer service but just okay mariscos.

Got to meet both husband and wife who cooked for me and served me like I was family. They offer karaoke certain nights of the week and have a huge dining area available for big groups, as well as small bar tables for intimate seating. I genuinely can't decide which (of the four items that I ordered for myself) was the best. The burger did not look as delicious as it actually really was -- I would happily eat it again right now, and I'm full. It was smash and crispy kinda (which I'm a medium rare type of gal and i loved it), but the sauce and cheese are what made it so yummy. The fried shrimp wasn't spicy though somehow had a little kick that made it hard to stop eating! yes, the fish ceviche had a stronger kick and it was delicious. Like. Drink the sauce when you finish the food - that good. I would've loved a side of rice or some homemade tortillas with everything (now that I'm done), obviously though I didn't need it and I'm bringing home leftovers soooo. Huge portions. Highly recommend this hole in a wall!

The food was EPIC. We didn't know what to expect and were not prepared for the awesome atmosphere! Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The best fish tacos I've had in a very long time time. Maybe ever? We didn't even take photos! Too busy eating!!

Sea food is mediocre, service is not all great, kind of a rude staff They are also very inconsiderate of the community living nearby Highly unprofessional.

I had a couple of grilled fish tacos from this place a la carte because they don't offer a combo. You can add a side of rice and beans for $4 but that just did not seam fair to me, but that's just me. The tacos were $2.25 each which was a good price for grilled tacos. The tacos were good and I enjoyed the flavor of the tacos and I appreciated the light gold brown crust they put on the filet of each taco. Seasoning was light but enough to support the fish and the taco as a whole. Both tacos came with a good amount of shredded greens and and some tossed chopped tomatoes. The white white sauce that they topped the tacos with was creamy and mild in flavor but good. The area were they made a slight mistake or kinda put a damper on the tacos was the manner they warmed the corn tortilla. I loved the way they lightly fried it on the griddle and gave it that translucent appeal, but unfortunately the tortillas were unevenly cooked. Some portions had that nice color and warmth of the light frying an other had that color and texture of a cold corn tortilla, so consistency here when preparing the tortilla would be appreciated. They were good quality corn tortillas however. They offer a basket of chips and house made salsa when you dine in. The chips were good and the salsa was tasty and packed some good heat. The lady who served me was nice and had a good funny personality.

This is my first time to this place.. I gave a 4 star only because I had no clue what to do when I walked in. I didn't know if I should sit down or wait at the bar to order. So I sat down and ordered fish tacos 1 dollar each and checking out the environment, it's very authentic in is Mexican heritage, the TV was on in Spanish language. I got my tacos and finally bit into them and what a very plesent surprise!! They where very very tasty!! I would go back for more!!

Janneth gives a horrible service she is on her phone all the time never came to check on us not even asking if we need it something else. All she cares is about talking to the guys on the bar was on her phone not even wash her hands wen she brought or food out to me worse experience....

This is our third time at this restaurant and my family and I love coming here. Okay let me rephrase that.... we love the food here. We've tried a couple things from the menu like: shrimp ceviche plate, marlin enchiladas, quesadillas, fried tilapia, Clamatos and everything has been AMAZING every time BUT!!!!!!! Service and restaurant need A LOT of improvement. The lady is so bad at customer service, she doesn't greet you when you walk in, she makes you feel like you are bothering her every time you ask for something. The restaurant just needs to be remodeled maybe new paint more organization and cleaner. If this place offered better customer service and improved the looks of the restaurant I don't doubt it would really hit it off in San Diego. It has a lot of potential!!!

Worst place ever, I do not recommend this establishment even to my worst enemy. To start no one greets you in when you first come in. Secondly the music is so loud you can barely even think, let alone have a conversation with anyone. Thirdly the staff doesn't even wait before they try to take the menu from you when you obviously still looking at it. In addition the prices compare to much nicer places in old town that sell the same menu items. Take your business else where because the food is little to be desired. P.S I did ask the security guard for clarification and he stated that during daylight it is a restaurant but after it becomes a bar. They also pat you down to make sure you don't have any weapons. The fact that they do that is very off putting.

The food is okay and you can get a better experience someone where else. First time my fiancé and I came, I had my medical grade water as ALWAYS and this lady was very rude and implied it wasn't water and was disrespectful how she treated us so she forbid is to bring water again. Since we found the place "unique" and the food was decent, we decided to give it a second try and invited our friends to join us. They happen to be real estate investor and a professional Hospital staff and they had a service dog on a leash. The dog wasn't disrupting anybody. So this same lady that yelled at me before for my water now she was yelling at our table for the dog. And told the dog was a service dog, she was asking for proof of documentation. To which our friends knew the law and she said she has her own rules since is her restaurant and for this one she was going to let it be. I said why every time I come she treats people like that? She was so rude to them and was fighting them so low class ghetto like. I will never again set a foot in this place. Socorro the owner is not nice and as a Friday night the place only had 8 customers dining in so she is so rude people rather eat somewhere else.

Stopped by here at 11:15 am on Tuesday and they were closed. Hours show 8-11 pm. Bummer because it was a decent drive on my lunch time to drive here. Suggest editing hours to reflect actual open times.

Found this place because I was really in he mood for Mexican seafood and I was working near by. Let me start off by saying the food quality was really good but the customer service definitely lacked. The person that helped me when I went there for lunch was kind of rude but I still wanted to give the place a try. I ordered the fish ceviche and a marlin taco and was satisfied with the taste. I would probably come back here to try other stuff since he prices were reasonable

Came here on December 30th around 8pm and the food was just awful honestly. I went with my parents to meet sister and her boyfriend there since they had a karaoke night and someone there had recommended it to us. After looking through the menu for a bit we were given chips and salsa while we waited and ordered. We probably ate about 3 baskets of chips which told you we waited a while for the food. I don't mind waiting for food as long as it's good. I chose the Carnitas plate since it was on their section that said "Customer Favorites" and went with that since i love carnitas as well and it looked appetizing on the menu. Not only did we all wait over an hour for our food but when i got my plate it was just cold and greasy. I sent it back because why would i wait an hour fold cold food? After it came back it was apparent that all they did was microwave it and brought it back to me. I could tell because the carnitas was tough and in its own pool of grease and oil which is not supposed to be there. I had to eat something so i grabbed some of the tortillas someone else had gotten and ate the carnitas with some avocado slices that were provided and thats pretty much all i ate that night and tortilla chips. The rice and beans tasted awful and so salty that i got diabetes from just the aroma. Apart from that the room was dimly lit so i could barely even see the menu i had to use the flashlight on my phone so my family could read there menus. Whoever was cooking that night either needs to get retrained or released because as an owner of a successful business, i would not have let the quality of the food stoop so low. As you can see we paid about $15 to eat 2 avocado and carnitas tacos because i didn't touch anything else. Wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want diabetes and cold food.

As a huge fan of mexican seafood and having worked at a mexican seafood restaurant in the past, this place is really good and flavorful! Nothing fancy but Delicious and good portions a true gem in national city! Highly recommended! Karoake night and happy hour i've heard is fun!!

An hour after my friend and I ate here we were both having stomach issues.. you can guess the rest. Only thing good was the michelada and on the side note the woman's bathroom was gross.

Highly recommend shrimp cocktail and the aguachiles, even better if the owner/cook "Guero" is making the food. Really yum.

Their Gobernador Taco is so good. I have never have a Gobernador Taco like that. This is the second day in a row I go to that place for their Gobernador Taco.

The Micheladas are delicious! And the food is good as well! They also have karaoke nights on Thursdays.

Nasty looking fish tacos and michelada tasted expired. Waitress and owner were extremely rude and didn't know how to perform basic friendly service. Could get a better bite at other restaurants in the area. What a disgrace to Mexican seafood!

The breakfast chilaquiles were sooooo good I had the green ones. I also had a Michelada !!! I have to say the best one I have had in a long time. Will attach pics. We had a shrimp cocktail. They don't devain the shrimp normally but before we ordered we let them know we wanted the shrimp devained and they did with no problem!!! Awesome service!!!!! The owner personally served us. Such a sweet humble person. We asked her if she was the owner and her response was everyone that works for me is the owner I just pay the bills. Wow such a sweet person!! Go Go Go it's a little hole in the wall but those are the best!

This place is a really good Mexican seafood restaurant in national city. I was pleasantly surprised when I came in one night. I ordered the fish ceviche tostada it's really good well seasoned and a nice sized portion. I also ordered a shrimp cocktail also very good . And a good big portion. The customer service was very nice and on point too. The Horchata was the best I've had in a while !! Do yourself a favor and check this place out!!

Just like my fiance said. They treated us poorly the first time we came in and the second time they were rude to all of us. The owner was unpleasant and I felt so bad for bringing customers to this bad place.

This was absolutely the worst Mexican food that I have ever eaten. Frozen vegetables in bland rice, dry and tasteless frijoles, and fish tacos that were a complete joke. Iceberg lettuce and 3 cheese blend found at Von's...oh and a sardine size piece of fish, I think it was fish. No AC either.

I really feel at home while eating here. Don't even get me started with their delicious crevice de camaron. I will for sure be coming back for more on their menu. They're very curtious towards the customers and everyone there has a really great vibe. It really is a happy place here ! I would rate it 5 stsrs, but I have yet to see before I get my hopes up! I'LL BE BACK.

Love this place! They have the bombest gobernador tacos. The first time I went to this place I had to go the second day for even more!
