Yelp
BLIMEY! Today's Taco Trek brings me to an eatery that's lively and grimy. So Daddy-o, park your ride and sit outside under the shade of the patio. Summa dis, summa dat, take a bite... Some's pretty good, and some's aight. Got a bit o' fish with my taco flight.

* TACO'NTENDERS
It's your friendly neighborhood Yelp Ranger/TacO-MonstA with another decently successful taco flight...
:::: Asada Taco, $1.95 -- BOMB! Moist, and good texture. The yummy steak flavor hits you square in the pleasure center accompanied by the spice from the salsa.
:::: Pastor Taco, $1.95 -- GOOD. A lil dry, but yummy heart-palpitations from the marinade: sweet, tangy, garlicky, spicy.
:::: Tortillas -- LOVELY. Soft, moist, tender, and tongue-twist-enly yummy enough to nibble on alone.
:::: Horchata -- SWISH-Y and nice like melted Hawaiian Shave Ice.
* EF-FISH-IENT
Not fresh gourmet fish by any means, but with the green you're saving, Mariscos La Costa is cool to quell a quick seafood craving.
:::: Tostada w Imitation Crab & Octopus -- DECENT. Imitation crab usually makes me finicky, but this big pile of sea-flesh and zesty veggies on a crisp tostada was fun as a picnic lunch to eat.
:::: Table Sauces -- STANDARD. Del Monte Ketchup, lip-bitingly-hot red habanero, sweet-sweat-beads green habanero, and good ol' Tapatio to the rescue. I had to concoct my own seafood sauce from the bottles on the table -- but the spicy-sauce ol' Twinkle-Arts made surprisingly wasn't so bad...
* FUN OUTDOOR SPACE
Bring out the folks of summer and mob a few tables for a fun outdoor lunch, shaded from the sun.

- TACO'MATOSE
:::: Carnitas Taco -- MEH-VERAGE. Super dry, but the bite at least finished with an okay pork flavor.
:::: Chicken Taco -- A MEH'STERY. I never order chicken tacos because 95% guaranteed it's gonna be SUPER dry. But if YOU ordered it, it's nO-tin-on-me... Message me and tell me how it was and I'll post it here... (bahahaha you amateur!!)
- PICNIC SEAFOOD?
Mariscos La Costa's seafood menu seems to be supplied by sending a guy to the supermarket to buy everything ready-to-eat, and then serving it without adding much extra love -- like getting seafood for a picnic. My ceviche tostada was exactly like getting mixed seafood from Safeway. And how are they gonna have a seafood restaurant with NO SPECIAL HOUSE SAUCE? Everyone's got to just mix ketchup and hot sauce together and that's the seafood sauce? BLEH.
