The food was so fresh! The seafood wasn’t over salted or seasoned, it was perfect. It did take a while for our food to be ready but it was a busy Saturday and it was worth the wait. The place is nice and big, they also have outdoor seating. The only annoying thing is the parking is across the street. I def. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants some fresh seafood.

Over all the food was great. Drinks were strong. Service wasn't the best but I understood it was a Friday night, and they were short staffed it seemed.

The food was good. The service was ok. But the drinks were not that great. The wine strawberry margaritas didn't have alcohol. They were plain the tajin gave it flavor. The micheladas taste like pure clamato juice. No tequilas and no beer selection.

He tried to charge me cash to get more tip than I wanted to leave him.

Came here and was told this place was really good. I was honestly disappointed by the service and the food. Not to be rude but this place is overhyped. The tostadas and chips tasted stale and old. Tostada de jaiba was super dry and no flavor brought it home to season it up.

Came here on a Saturday night with some gal pals. Great sevice small and cozy location...great family vibe. I highly recommend the club sandwich.

Not coming to this stupid place again. Decided to give this place a try. I have an favorite place i like to go! So i was in the area and thought about trying a new place. Not worth it 😒! The tostadas were stalled. Order the campechana, it was not to my satisfaction! it was more vegetables and juice than anything else, paid $20 for a little bit of shrimp and octopus. Seriously terrible restaurant. Extremely disappointed 😞!!! Was really hoping a great experience 😔

Service was friendly and food was good but the parking is extremely limited. A real small restaurant maybe can fit 40 people inside but they have tables outside for another 30 people. It's very loud inside with music and big television that you can see but not hear with the loud music. As far as seafood selections they have it all. Hope it's fresh they do have an A from LA COUNTY . I'd have to say the parking is horrendous as the Yoshinoya has man that won't let you even use two parking spots and there is literally a full parking spot of 6 cars for Mariscos Maria's. Take out is an option if you don't want to park on the street. LA parking is always limited near the 10'freeway.

Super hot inside the restaurant when I walked into get my order. Definitely not appealing on a hot summer day. Got the ceviche de pescado and both tostadas had no fish whatsoever. Very disappointed on how much it cost. They provided me with 5 extra tostadas but no reason for them since there was no ceviche. Best thing was the salsa and chips... thank you!

I love that they had options galore for hot sauces! I got the aguachiles which is basically lime cured shrimp and it was good for the most part. I wish it was more spicy tho.

SO GOOD Got the ceviche de Camaron. I thought two wouldn't be enough but they're BIG and delicious, I only finished one. The picture doesn't really show it- but they give you a lot of ceviche, tostada was heavy. Drinks were affordable and the inside was cute too! Service was also fast! Good place to go with friends or family

I usually love this place because service is good the ladies are always nice and the food is good and because of my uncle he comes here ..but I feel scammed out..bought a Large camarón y pulpo cóctel and it came out to be $21.29. The cup didn't even look large like how other mariscos place be giving out and it was mostly filled with juice, tomatoes and onion..hardly any shrimp and octopus... do better for better price please.. consistency is key Felt like returning it but whatever..

Excellent service, Excellent Food, reasonable prices considering Bidenomics. Have and will continue to frequent here when I'm in the mood for fresh seafood. My first choice of restaurant when I'm not feeling like driving 1 hour in traffic to get somewhere.

Was recommended this place and became a regular. Everything I've tried came out fresh and servers were on point. Now it's our pregame tradition before dodger and Rams games. And from the first visit, the owners, Gio and Johnny made us feel like family which is hard to find nowadays. if you see a line, it's worth the wait.. Molcajete and aguachiles is a must! Trust me @thegrubhunter2018 approved!

The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional. I don't understand the negative reviews because the restaurant was great overall. I would definitely recommend it and will be returning.

Of lately I've been craving lots of seafood but what's eluded me had been aguas Chile. Well this location is always full of life when I pass by. So I decided to go in and try the food. Let's say. I'll be a returning customer.

Seafood did not taste fresh at all for oysters and one of them did not look edible which is super dangerous so pls watch out for that other than that the music was good and waiting was okay

One of my favorite spots for Mexican Food! The margarita is 10/10! So many good plates to choose from and it's great for a family dinner or a group outing

Amazing food! Had the molcajete, aguachiles and a michelada. Molcajete had a great portion of food and was super tasty. Aguachiles were lemony and flavorful with a slight kick. Kick was not overbearing so you could still enjoy the flavor. Michelada is literally one of the best I've ever tried. Other places make it too spicy where it's not enjoyable and it gives you heartburn, this place had the perfect flavor. The service was great, checked up on us and made us feel very welcomed. Will definitely come back!

I've come here a couple of times. Today, July 26, at 8:30 PM, we've had the worst service. There are two waitresses an older and younger one. The older woman was our waitress. She was the worst. When she took our order she was looking in another direction when we were giving her our drink order. I had to say hello. Once our order came to table she literally never came back. We needed water and lemon. My sister had to share water with my mom. We ended up calling over another waitress. Our waitress never came back! What kind of service is this. She needs to get checked. Just to add, it wasn't even busy. Ridiculous.

Best margarita I've ever had!! Food was AMAZING. The ambiance was too. They have a digital jukebox as well so you can play whatever songs you want. Love it 10/10

i got the aguachiles to go. i counted a total of 6 shrimps and everything else was cucumber some avocado pieces of orange tomatoes and a lot of lemon juice. i ordered over the phone and i got there in 10 min and it was already sitting on the counter, so they were quick. i didn't sit in to eat, but they had the tvs on, the game was on, it wasn't too packed so there were still tables available if i wanted to eat there. i'll probably order another plate next time to give this place another shot but not the aguachiles again.

theyre freaking menudo is so bomb. that first slurp of the soup to the last meat hiding for its dear life from me ....holy smokes. even the color was banging. i had no expectations at all cause menudos are usually a hit or miss but this. this !!!!! it literally pushed my dopamine button so hard , i quit my job today. i left my house. now i live next to this restaurant in my car. thankyouverymuch.

Every time I fly home I always ensure to stop by here! I'm been eating their seafood since when all they had was the food truck! I love their mariscos so much and their staff is so welcoming!

Went wedding shopping at the callejones so my family and i decided to eat some mariscos we stopped by a different stop and they were closed (luckily they were closed ) so we stopped by here at Maria's and I'm glad we did it is super good . The salsa they have for chips is amazing best tasting salsa I have had at a restaurant.. the flavor of the food is spot on super delicious and I love that they have a music box to play some music . We had a great time and some bomb micheladas de dos X and Pacifico ... will come again ! If your are craving some Miches and seafood this is the spot .

Ordered the molcajete mixto to go & it was ready quickly (20 minutes) and generously portioned in a huge tray - easily serves 4 adults, if not 5-6. Comes with tortillas, beans, & rice. Wish it had slightly more nopales & cheese in proportion to the meats, but some prefer more meat. Just a matter of personal preference, but I prefer to have a bit of nopales & cheese in every taco and there wasn't enough for that.

Been here a few times with friends. The atmosphere is good, the food is good and the owners are down to earth. Definitely recommend

The foods bomb. Go 2s are the brochetas mixtas, carne asada plate, tacos gobernador, chicken breast. Would def choose Dinos for burgers! Can't go wrong with much here!

To begin with the parking is bad. The service is okay. The place itself is really cute, it is a nice place to have a drink and food with friends. The music is a little loud but you are able to hold a conversation. The food is really great But they are a little greedy with the molcajete since it is filled with a bunch of imitation crab and potatoes. The camarones a la plancha are great and the oysters are super fresh! Some of the best I've had. I will definitely be coming back.

Every time I come I must have my cocktail Camarón con Pulpo.... riquísimo!!! We think the sizes of the cups have changed even though the waitress told us that they only have had small and large. But anyway, delicious and satisfied our cravings. I also tried the Michelada VIP OMG THAT WAS THE BOMB!!!!!!!! Anyway anyone with fresh seafood cravings must come to this location, prices are great and the servers and waitresses are very friendly! This place will not disappoint. Also, call before you come if you have a big group so they can add you to the list. Other than that enjoy. Provecho!!

Owners are nice we were just party of 2 people and wanted to sit inside and they gave us a big table since no one was using it just for us to sit inside so that was very nice. Food is delicious portions are big. Drinks are good as well. Definitely coming back. Service was great too always asking if we were good.

i've been searching for a really good mariscos place for such a long time and i finally found it. i've gone 4 times. i've tried their ceviche and shrimp cocktails which are both delicious and affordable. i will say that the service is terrible though... waitresses don't really check up on you... one time i went my server was sitting down and eating.

I WISH I saw the recent reviews earlier but no I came to this location of mariscos marias to see what the hype was all about and let me tell you when I say i left disappointed i truly mean it lol. First, the service was terrible the busser was the one who was paying the most attention to us whereas the waitress was somewhere else inside while we were outside in the parking lot (outdoor dining). Second, the food took a LONG time to come out, it almost felt as if we were abandoned outside bc the waitress never came to ask if we were ok and forgot to bring our drinks out... unfortunately the table next to us also was left abandoned bc they forgot to bring a cheeseburger to that table. At this point i'm desperate that they won't forget my food cause i'm starving... I ordered the small shrimp and octopus cocktail and it didn't satisfy my cravings of mariscos this place should literally upgrade its whole menu... the only good thing from the menu was the oysters but that's pretty much it. I would recommend for this place to upgrade its management too because that's where it all starts from management and how well the restaurant runs. this place seemed like a circus without any control.

The food was ok. However, the smell of sewage inside the restaurant was intolerable. Also, the owner, was coughing at a table the entire time I was there. It was disgusting that the owner did not have the common sense to leave because he was sick, specially with the Covid dangers.

I like the quick service. I don't like that you can not park in parking spots that are available to the businesses. First come first served. Lesson learned. The food was ok and the green sauce I believe is from the can, not authentic. I had to add salt, hot sauce and lime to doctor up the shrimp cocktail. I've had better but this is the only restaurant like this until you goto east LA or South Gate.

Had a chance to try them at a City event. Great taste, great current service. I'm going to try the rest of their menu.

I ordered a fish tostada and a mixed cocktail which both were terrible. The fish ceviche tasted old to be honest I was disappointed with the tostada that by the time I got to the cocktail I was Over that place!!!!

Went here based on reviews, and because it was one of the few mariscos places open late. The place was pretty lit when we walked in. They had Spanish music playing, tables were almost all full, Dodger game was on TV and everyone was having a good time. Found a seat in the corner near bathroom. Tables and chairs were covered in leather or some leather like material and were somewhat sticky and very dingy/dirty. Ordered a large shrimp cocktail which came out looking yummy, but I was disappointed. The cocktail was very sweet. Added lots of salt, lemon, and hot sauce, but it did not help. I ended up picking out the shrimp and avocado and eating it on a tostada. It did however have lots of shrimp. I also got a grilled fish taco, it was whatev. Had lettuce I like mine with cabbage. Everything came out with oranges, weird. Had to ask for lemon. Service was good, won't be back.

If i could i would give this place zero stars my husband, mom and i had lunch there we ordered 3 cocktails my mom had the "coctel de conchas" and omg was is disgusting it had no flavor and had and extremely bad smell me and him ordered the shrimp cocktail and it has no flavor on top of that the shrimp was not cooked or cleaned honestly its the worst seafood restaurant i have ever been too. I will not be returning

The food is good, I just have a prob with one of the servers. I don't know her name but she's, young, very skinny with dark complexion and black hair. She wore tight black jeans today with a black shirt. When ever she serves us , if the person I'm with is male and he orders two food items. She makes sure to bring both his out and then bring mine out. Every single time she comes to ask if everything is okay she'll proceed to ask him the male person at the table and only ask him. My suggestion is if she can bring out two food items at the same time she can bring one for him and one for me and then come out with his second item. Also, when returning to ask if everything is okay she should ask us both and not only him or only make eye contact with him and disregard everyone else on the table. She's done this multiple times and I've decided not to return and tell everyone I know about the type of service you will receive there. It's bad customer service. If the owner reads this please make sure to correct this, it's really bad service..

I really wanted to check this place out but was really disappointed they took for ever to come and ask what we wanted we ate inside flies everywhere in the tables never asked if we wanted more drinks the waitress took for ever we had to ask the only bus boy in the restaurant to help us out really bad service

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! We waited in line for 30 minutes and the "owner" decided to seat a party of the same size before us. After, they told us that the wait has increased another 20 minutes. Staff was rude about the situation. If you want to have a nice time with your family, I suggest going somewhere else as they prioritize who they want to serve.

Their food tastes authentically good. The service is great and I love their ceviche. Big servings and pricing is very reasonable. I will return to this spot again!

It was hot out and I was in the mood for a shrimp cocktail, my spot is in Torrance. But I drove by and this place looked busy, so I got a shrimp cocktail to go $17 bucks is about right I thought. Until I get home and I did a spoon full of chopped tomatoes, so I throw the whole thing into a bowl. 5 shrimp!! that's more than $3 dllrs per shrimp! To top it off I got a shell on more than one. It didn't taste that good either I put a bunch of ketchup and tapatio just to eat my. Maybe food it's different when you eat there. So don't take out.

Parking is limited. Staff very friendly. Food is ok. Seemed a bit too greasy for my preference. Don't think I would come back and eat here.

Ordered a tostada mixta and a margarita. 1. The tostada was big and hooked up, but it was so BLAND and chewy 2. The lime margarita was on the rocks & all I can taste was sugar. I was would've been better off buying the ingredients myself and making it.

Been here once before with friends that introduced me to this place. I was craving mariscos, so decided to come out to this place. PROS: the have free valet parking if the lot is full. Their micheladas are large and they have a michelada VIP that is two beers with shrimp and other decorations. Beer is only $5 and the food is incredible! CONS: the wait outside could take a while, the food takes a while to come out, and when you order appetizers they bring them out with your main course or even after your main course, which kind of defeats the purpose of an appetizer. The servers are nice and apologize for the wait and also for the reversal of food service. The food is well worth the cons though. Large portions of food so no matter what you get you'll definitely get full. The tostadas at $5 are a great deal.

Heard great things about this restaurant and was not amazed. Food was ok, Next time I would eat inside the restaurant to see how the food is served but I wouldn't suggest take out. Parking is hard to find. Overall disappointed.

The experience is not worth the semi-satistying food they serve. The place is a come in and if there is someone near by they will guide you where to sit. If not, sir yourself and hope you get the waitress to see you. The food took over 30 minutes long including a cold ceviche that doesn't take long to make. The restaurant was not full or even busy until after we received our plates. We were missing a plate that we never got until after we were done with the ceviche and my sisters plate. Even then, the experience got worst. We asked for water and a to-go box which took over 10 minutes to get (we never got our to-go box). We never got our check and we had to go to the front and ask for it there. We also asked for a to-go box which when they gave it to us, it was dirty and filled with purple liquid on the sides. Food. Ceviche- needed much more lemon and salt. Bland Chiliquiles- guacamole was bad, didn't taste fresh or seasoned properly (no lemon) Mexican fries- decent, cream and cheese was good, but ruined appetite when forgotten. HOW CAN YOU NOT KNOW HOW TO MAKE GUACAMOLE IN A MEXICAN RESTAURANT?!? Tsk tsk tsk Management was there checking on tables but should really be in be back making food is coming out timely and even help out their servers with request for water , lemon, etc. Need more staff during busy hours.
