Where Cookbook Author Rick Martínez Eats Near Home in Mazatlán, Mexico | Eater

"An effortlessly cool neighborhood seafood spot with white plastic chairs under the trees, laid-back sidewalk seating, and a convivial, no-rush vibe ideal for sipping micheladas and lingering. The menu leans Baja-ish—light, tempura-style seafood on excellent blue corn tortillas—but the most memorable item is the taco de chicharrón y pulpo, which pairs fatty, crispy pork belly with tender grilled octopus and bright salsa verde. Other highlights include a tostada de chile morita with smoky peanut salsa and cucumbers and a flavorful aguachile de chile morita that offers a deep, smoky heat." - Rick Martínez

Didn’t take any pics but this place was on point. Our favorite were the smoked tuna flautas. I’ll be back for sure My favorite seafood place in Mazatlán because the innovate the food to the next level. Handmade blue corn tortillas set an extra level for all the amazing tacos they have. The tuna barbacoa taco is my all time favorite I never miss it every time I come here. Specially because as added bonus they have Tres Islas brewery next door making the perfect pairing

Been here a few times and food was always good. Went today, the menu lists vino blanco bottle at 400 pesos so I ordered a bottle with my food. When the check came it was priced at 720 pesos. I asked and was told that’s the price. I have liked the place and like the food but leaves bad taste when you are charged nearly double the menu price. Make sure you ask before ordering..

The fish n chips are the catch of the day. Today was pescado Corvina. One of the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. The micro brewery next door let us have the full mariscos piquillas experience allowing the server to attend us there. Busy restaurant and everything cooked fresh adds to the wait time. Nice hole in the wall.

Came here for a late lunch and was very pleased. I ordered the fish and chips, which featured the local catch of the day. Very tasty. Check it out!

The best seafood tostadas and tacos you can find in Mazatlán. It’s a small, tiny restaurant tucked away on a quiet street and is great for a quick bite to eat or to bring a few friends for drinks and tacos. An absolute must on a visit to Mazatlán!

Went to this place without even looking at the reviews and was pleasantly surprised that the food was excellent. Very unassuming place kind of basic, but the food is great and the service is great as well.

The food was creative and tasty, but we felt the prices were a bit high, particularly for the individual tacos. Staff very friendly.

An institution with all of the Mazatlan seafood delicacies at affordable prices and cool vibe.
