Google
Impecable dinning area, tastefully decorated and cozy family friendly atmosphere. Clean restrooms. I ordered a full meal for me and my family (we’re 6) and food took about 25 minutes to be done. I’ve been coming to this place for years and it was recommended by my father in law who had been coming here for about 10 years. Prices are just right, I paid about $120 for everything.

Google
Omgg the oysters are soo fresh and so good . especially the raw oysters. It was my first time going there and when they served it It looked so fresh and clean. Like seriously I go to any other mexican restaurant and it never looks that good. The lady preparing the food I could tell she cared and I can't wait to have more I hope they keep making the oysters fresh because it's definitely gonna be a go-to spot

Google
The worts ceviche i have ever had. No flavor at all. No salt, no black pepper. Dish was very poor looking. I don’t understand how some reviews says this a very good place when its not. We had the pulpo ceviche and the mix, And a shrimp taco. I m from Baja California and i know what good tasty seafood is like. Estoy completamente decepcionado de este lugar.

todd tyloch

Google
The ceviche was tasty. A little too much citrus flavor for my preference, but a good size serving for the price

Google
I had the hankering for some ceviche and shrimp cocktail. I found this little place in Wilmington CA, which looks like there's still many more around. The parking lot was a pain since it was a small lot and was already full. I ordered both the ceviche and shrimp cocktail, I got a small container of Ceviche de Pescado ($5 and some change) and a med size serving of the Shrimp Cocktail ($9 and some change). I must say they were both delicious!! I really enjoyed both of them. The Pescado has a nice hint of oregano and the cocktail was perfect to my liking. A good amount and flavoring of cilantro, to. All in all, I wouldn't most definitely comeback to this place if I have another hankering for Ceviche or Cocktail. Staff was also nice.. great experience.

Genevieve Martinez

Google
Oh this place never disappoints. We had abalone ceviche and scallop ceviche. The garlic shrimp plate was delicious and we also ordered shrimp's agua Chile.. I got that 1 extra hot.

Hector Alvarez

Google
Love the shrimp fajitas burritos. They always hook it up with the tapatio sauce, lemons, salt, forks and napkins every single time. Consistency at its best !!

Jenny Bunnybun

Google
I have been coming here for years and the food is the best. If you like sea food this is the spot.

Chris M.

Yelp
Fresh and inexpensive ceviche. Also tried the asada and shrimp burrito, it was all meat and very large and tasty,l!!! The owners are so nice and feels good to support their family business.

A B.

Yelp
I was in the mood for seafood. This place has a huge variety of seafood ceviches and assortments. I got the shrimp fajitas plate to go. It was a whole plate full with plenty of shrimp tortillas, sauces and veggies. The hot salsa was really good and spicy. I'll be back when it gets warmer to try their cold cocktails

Eddie D.

Yelp
A small, hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant specializing in Mariscos. I tried the seafood burrito--it's generously sized and packed with a mix of seafood. With a squeeze of lime, lemon, and some hot sauce, it's quite tasty! I also ordered the octopus ceviche. While the texture leans toward tough and chewy, the flavors are decent overall.

Cindy D.

Yelp
The octopus ceviche was on the tough/chewy side. Similarly, the seafood burrito consisted of fish, shrimp and octopus and again, the octopus was on the tough/chewy side. Taste wise, both were decent but the seafood could have been fresher.

Jason C.

Yelp
No fish tacos, no shrimp tacos until August 8th. Mariscos Rosarito is closed from July 16th-August 8th.

Carlos G.

Yelp
Ceviche completamente seco. Cómo que fue hecho con las sobras del pescado. Los tacos peor, nada de sabor, la salsa no sabía a nada. El taco baja era un pedazo de pescado quemado. El cóctel de camarón era agua de tomate con cebolla y camarones de lata.

Hector T.

Yelp
I am Mexican, but I don't eat mariscos. My wife is Chinese and she loves them. From hole in the wall places in El Monte and Baldwin Park, to the Mercado in east Los, to Superior and Northgate markets. She loves them all. So when we heard about this place close by she had to try it immediately. The restaurant is located in a small older strip mall in Wilmington. Nothing fancy, but we were there for the food. The place itself was very plain, with a few tables and minimal decor. The woman at the counter was very friendly and bilingual, answering my wife's questions with a genuine smile. We ended up ordering the 7 mares soup (small), some type of ceviche, and a shrimp quesadilla (for tomorrow's lunch, supposedly). Well, by the time we got home, she had started on the ceviche. At home she ate half of the quesadilla (totally loaded with cheese and tons of shrimp) and all of the mixed seafood soup. She then took a nap on the couch while wearing a huge, satisfied smile. She later told me that she loved the seafood there. Will be back soon.

Yelp
We initially wanted to grab mariscos at the San Pedro Fish Market BUT we didn't realize the place was under renovations and all they had was a small and overpacked location serving mariscos out of food trucks SO we opted for an alternative instead. We found this little gem about 3 miles away and my goodness was it worth it! The location itself is in a small shopping plaza but even though it was small, parking wasn't an issue. The restaurant is a nice size and very clean. Service was also great - you can tell they really care about their clientele. We grabbed two mojarras, and marinero/pulpo ceviche - the food was absolutely amazing and we only paid $32 for everything. If we had gone to the the fish market we would've paid anywhere from $70 and up. Overall we were super happy and FULL - we can't wait to come back and try their tacos soon!

Jasmine C.

Yelp
Parking- they have a parking lot thats small and they share it with other business as well. So you may need to park on the street or wait for someone to leave. Called ahead and placed our order to go. It was ready under 30 mins! Ordered camarones a la diabla, a mojara and a cóctel de camaron! The camarones a la diabla are always so delicious! We always ask for not too spicy since the mild is still pretty spicy sometimes. They come with fries and a salad which go really well with the shrimp. The mojara was ordered with fries and salad as well. The mojara was perfectly cooked and the outside was so crispy! The cóctel was really good as well! Every dish came with tortillas on the side and a sauce and ketchup! Dining: they do have option for indoor dinning if youre looking for a place to sit down and eat!

Adriana G.

Yelp
This mom and pop restaurant has great seafood. I love their mojarra frita and pescado asado. The seafood nachos were fresh and one of a kind! I definitely recommend coming here If you want good quality seafood

Tony M.

Yelp
Excellent cevichi and all types!!! The aquachiles is also excellent!!! Highly recommend this place!!!

Fernando A.

Yelp
Wow, this place was good! My wife and I just spent a couple of hours hiking in PV, and had a hankering for some tacos. Everything we got was delicious. The ceviche was fresh and tangy with the lime and onions. The quesadilla was stuffed with shrimp and cheese, but the fish taco stole the show. Oh, and a fresh watermelon juice for my wife and an horchata for me to wash it all down.

Tyler T.

Yelp
Man, this place is too damn good. A coworker of mine took a few of us here for the seafood burrito, and I am still in shock at how perfect it was. It's a good size too, not huge but definitely a good meal. No beans, rice or any fillers at all - just delicious seafood and sauce in every bite. I really think it's the best burrito I've ever had. If you're anywhere near here you should stop by.

Matt P.

Yelp
Steak, shrimp and avocado for the win! Another very popular item is the marinero burrito.

Teresa H.

Yelp
If you're in the area you need to go here! We had just finished a cruise in Long Beach and wanted some bomb seafood. Found this spot on yelp and the pictures looked good. They had so much fresh seafood to choose from and if your eyes were closed you would have no idea. Sometimes spots that sell seafood especially grocery stores have a fishy smell but not this spot. Most importantly the food was amazing and the agua de sandia was perfect. There are like a dozen tables inside for sitting. Would definitely stop here again and again!

Capo M.

Yelp
Great friendly service, i had two fish tacos and shrimp tostada, both were delicious. I would definitely coming back to try other dishes. Plenty of seating space and very clean atmosphere.

Low I.

Yelp
Best real ceviche l/Mariscos hands down in the harbor area. This place is amazing and the staff is awesome.

Steve R.

Yelp
We were looking for some seafood last night and decided to give this place a try. It was delicious and we are glad we picked it. I had the Marineros burrito that was stuffed with shrimp, squid, octopus, etc. Everything was cooked perfectly and the cilantro, tomato, and avocado inside helped make this item a great one. We also tried the shrimp tostadas that were just as good. They come loaded with shrimp and not like some places that seem to count how many they give you. Saw that almost everyone ordered one of their cocktails so I'll probably order that next time I came back. The inside is kept clean and the AC keeps it cool. The tables all have what looks like fresh flowers (plastic really) that help give the place a really nice and friendly atmosphere

Genevieve M.

Yelp
By far the freshest seafood from a small family owned restaurant. you can mix the ceviche, so I order a medium size with both shrimp and scallop ceviche..deeeeeluscious!!!! The cocktail had huge shrimps.. and it was only $ 11.00 per each.

Ray M.

Yelp
Ah yes....Your craving ceviche and don't have the time to make it. This is the place you've been looking for. yes ...yesss...yessss. Parking is tuff. Bring a concealed weapon it's Wilmington after all. It's the suburb the mayor builds homeless hotels and parks for homeless with a smile on her face.. there's plenty of room in Watts and Compton, Inglewood, Baldwin Hills. Why here ?? Good question huh? Think about it... But before we had this Mayor; the others have done nothing for my home town. Our only advocate Janice Hahn, I'm afraid has sold out too. It's true, it is true nothing is open after 11:00pm. Most stores close when the sun goes down. I think Tres Conchitas is probably the only thing open 24hrs. Again bring concealed weapon. I do really feel bad saying that because I grew up here. But the powers that be can't wait to take Wilmington away from families. One little piece at a time . But I digress ...If your craving ceviche this is the place. There's not a place within 50 miles maybe more that is better than this place, and the price is just right. If you don't have a permit for concealed weapon then wear dark sunglasses and try and look fearless. Me ? I moved.

Randy B.

Yelp
Best Shrimp Cocktail in town, very satisfied. will definitely be returning soon. Randy B.

Jesus G.

Yelp
Best seafood burrito! AKA "El Marinero" although hard to chose between the shrimp burrito and EM. Service is great. Price is reasonable.

Luis P.

Yelp
Lunch spot highlight. I've never been to a Rosarito style seafood joint, bit this one was very clean and good! The tortillas were actually good! The seafood was fresh and cooked on a flat top instead of deep fried (a welcomed change) The flavors were clean and didn't over power the seafood. I had three tacos: The octopus was very well seasoned, but a bit chewy for my taste. The fish taco was my favorite, very flavorful and perfection with a squirt of lime. The shrimp taco was also very good, but I feel like it lacked something... a sear, for starters, would have been nice, and perhaps more seasoning? I will say the seafood flavor came through in everything, and there's something to be said about that! All in all a great lunch that didn't break the bank! 3 stars!

Eric G.

Yelp
Had fish and shrimp tacos. Seafood is very fresh. Very good, I would definitely go back.

Michael M.

Yelp
Don't be fooled by the not so clean area and small shopping center this place is located in, this mariscos spot is legit. Horrible parking but you can usually find parking on the side street if the lot is full. Nothing to crazy on appearances but man do they make some decent ceviche and they have alot of variety to choose from. I also got the Marineros Burrito which I must say was one of the best burritos I've had in a longg time. Definitely try this place out if you need a quick mariscos fix.

Arecia S.

Yelp
It's a hole in the wall looking place. But, it was good. The aqua chiles were so yummy! I will be coming back for them. Fish taco was also good. Aqua chiles come with a good amount of shrimp as well.

Shanna A.

Yelp
First time trying Mariscos Rosarito and their Shrimp Quesadilla is soo good. They pack the quesadilla with lot of Shrimp and ceviche is their specialty. They accept credit cards and parking is quite tight. However, the sauce, avocado and every bite hit the spot!

Karin B.

Yelp
Breathtaking display case filled with trays of various types of ceviche. I did the mixed/marinero and thoroughly enjoyed

Leslie P.

Yelp
Located in a strip mall, you would never guess this place would serve great seafood. You can order fish to go, or have a meal here. We ordered: Agauchile de camaron $16 Campechana (medium) $7 Octopus taco $3 Shrimp taco $3 The agauchiles were amazing. It was super spicy yet I couldn't stop eating it. The campechana was normal, average, nothing too noteworthy. The tacos were bomb though! The octopus/shrimp were cooked well. The octopus was tender. The sauce they put on top was delish. The food took a while to come out, but they were pretty busy, so it was understandable. They were also a bit unorganized. While we waited for our food, a server came out to ask what we ordered. It seemed like you could say anything, and they would bring it to you. This place felt like if you come here often and they know you, they will take care of you. I hope to become a frequent diner here!

Bazoink S.

Yelp
The shrimp cocktail was very good. I've been craving shrimp cocktail for 3 days now. The one I purchased from a lunch truck was no good so I thought I'd try this little hole in the wall since it had good reviews. I wasn't disappointed. It's in a sketchy shopping center so at first glance it doesn't seem inviting, but you'd be missing out on some bomb Seafood. I got the jumbo shrimp cocktail which was more than enough for my wife and I. It was loaded with shrimp so maybe next time I'll have to tell them to put a little less shrimp and more cocktail. Service is great too, and the lady owner was recommending other food as well. Seemed like she was proud of her establishment which is a big plus.

Tony R.

Yelp
Omg! Was in the area and was craving seafood, glad I gave this place a try. Ordered the ceviche and fried fish combo. Ceviche tasted extremely fresh, glad I ordered the big size. Ask for their hot sauce to spice it up even more. The mojarra frita was seasoned amazingly, not sure what they did but it was delicious. They even had house tarter sauce that was tasty and not over powering. Actually can't wait to go back and try their other dishes.

Kyla A.

Yelp
Siete Mares ( Soup ) "The Seven Sea" If you like Cooked Seafood that's perfectly seasoned with different variations of Sea Creatures with a side of Avocado , Onions , Cilantro , Lime , and Hot Sauce then this is your place! I loved the freshly made potato chips It was our first time and i must say NOT disappointment.‼

Yelp
If you are looking for authentic Mexican seafood in LA County, Mariscos Rosarito should be on your list. Located in a small and overlooked strip mall in Wilmington, this fresh sourced eatery is known for their different styles of Ceviche. Made daily and kept on ice, the traditional recipes have ingredients and flavors not found at other establishments. Part of the allure of this restaurant is the location, the immediate surrounding area keeps many people away, but those that venture out during daylight hours are rewarded with some of the best Mariscos around. From what I've seen there seems to be a rotating selection of the house made Ceviche depending on what's in season. There is also plenty of open seating which makes this place a good choice for larger parties. The seafood burrito, Ceviche Fresca, and fish tacos are consistently good. I have co-workers who eat here for lunch sometimes 3 times a week for years, many of whom do not want me reviewing this place, because they see their "hidden gem" getting more and more popular as of late.

Info G.

Yelp
Food is really good service is not so great. Got camarones a la diabla and fish tacos

Manny A.

Yelp
Delicious, delicious, delicious!!!! I had a campechana (seafood cocktail). It was so good, after I finished it, I got another one. The seafood is great and the prices are low. They have about 6 diffrent varieties of ceviche, $5 an order. Burritos and tacos are amazing!! Everything on the menu looks delicious. I highly recommend for seafood and traditional Mexican entrees. Enjoy!!!

Ray A.

Yelp
This is that hole in the wall you have been searching for if you live seafood! Fresh delicious and amazingly well priced! There is an array of preped ceviche, but that is just the beginning. I always start with a small cup of the mixed ceviche, it's juicy, and packed with flavor. But most importantly it is fresh! Next I went with 2 fish tacos... It's hard to believe you can get so much flavor from a taco, but these guy have mastered it! Service is a little unusual, but very friendly. You order at the counter, but you don't pay until you are done eating. The drinks are around the corner and feel free to grab it yourself. Just be sure to pay for everything. It's pretty much the honor system for this family business. Definitely a must! Coming back really soon!

Kareem V.

Yelp
Really good, go to spot for mariscos... Today I had a Chalupa de Abalone, Campechana, and a quesadilla de camaron ... everything was dee-f*cken-licious!.. they have a variety of ceviches to choose from also... my Girl had the marinero.. Good people, good service, great food. Very affordable, btw... this place has never disappointed me.

Leo R.

Yelp
This is probably the worst seafood restaurant we have ever been to. The shrimp red aguachile looked like gravy. The smell was even worse. The cucarachitas shrimp were burnt and the sauce tasted like watered down tarter sauce. The next time I'm craving fish I would much rather prefer a fillet-a-fish. The owners saw we were disgusted by our plates and did not ask us a thing.

Lisa K.

Yelp
LOVEEEEEE this place. My mom and I are so addicted to their shrimp taco, we literally keep coming back almost every week! TL; DR: CASH ONLY - Skip ceviche and come by for their shrimp taco! +I love how this place is so old school and it works based on a trust system. Literally you walk in, order the food over the counter, pick a table and seat yourself down, eat, and THEN you pay later before you walk out. Seems like customers usually pick out a can of soda from the back and people either let them know you're grabbing a soda when you place your order or you notify the owners when you pay for your bill. Don't see these kinda restaurants as often anymore and much respect for the restaurant owners! This system must work because they're honest, hard-working people and everyone respects them. :) +The lady that takes down the order is so nice and friendly. When I didn't know what to order, she gave me few suggestions on what's popular on the menu! +Literally in love with their shrimp taco here. The shrimp is not overcooked so it's soft and tender instead of being super dry and tough. Also the shrimp is super well seasoned and it tastes so bomb! The taco uses corn tortilla and is topped off with a slice of avocado (which is super generous considering avocado is pricey!), raw chopped onions, chopped cilantro, salsa, and side of lime to squirt on. Everything compliments the taco perfectly and I can easily inhale 3 tacos in one sitting. Yep, don't judge me. +My friends also order their ceviche, shrimp chalupa, and super crispy fried shrimp thing called camarones de la cucarachas. Shrimp chalupa is pretty much like shrimp taco but its topped with tartar type sauce and chopped lettuce/avocado instead. Camerones de la cucarachas was super good too! -CASH ONLY -It's located in a bit of janky strip mall with super crooked, narrow, limited parking spots. -___-;; Literally I wouldn't even bother trying to park at the parking lot and park my car in residential streets nearby. -I'm not a big fan of their ceviche. It's very lime-y and sour, which I like but other than that, the ceviche is pretty bland and has hardly any seasoning. Don't HATE it but wouldn't pay money to eat their ceviche that much. I've had better elsewhere. -Wish their shrimp for shrimp taco was slightly bigger. Their shrimps are relatively tiny but they load up on it, which is good. I highly recommend this spot for their tacos and probably few more seafood items that I haven't even tried yet. Follow my lead blindly and treat yourself, you're welcome in advance!

C G.

Yelp
The very best Hole in the wall. Parking sucks. But the food has great seasoning. And great portions.

Tavita S.

Yelp
I haven't tried any other stuff from the menu but the seafood burrito is the SHIT!!! Definitely a hole in the wall and this is probably one of the hidden gems in Wilmington.

Marie M.

Yelp
I loved this place. I was heading to San Pedro Fish Market to eat but it was so packed. So then my boyfriend found this place and I was hesitant at first cause of the surrounding area but decided to get off anyways. When I walked in i felt like I was at my abuelitas kitchen cause of the ranchera music playing in the background. The lady was so nice and sweet. I had a mojarra frita and my boyfriend had the camarones con tocino.

Michelle C.

Yelp
I was craving ceviche one day so I used Yelp to assist me in locating one by my work. I am so happy to have found such an awesome seafood place without having to go to the pier. The shrimp ceviche is clean, fresh and very flavorful and they are not stingy in the portions for your buck. I will no longer make ceviche at home and instead will rather swing by here and pick some up. I will eventually try there fried and grilled food as so far I've only had there ceviche and yes, there are lots to choose from.

Lesly N.

Yelp
Let's start off with the service... The lady at the register was friendly at first, but had attitude once we started ordering. She got our order wrong and wouldn't refund my bf and I for over charging. Now the food: I ordered the camarones al Mojo de ajo plate and man, it was the best I've ever had! No joke. It was very tasty and the beans and rice were delicious too. If I come back it'll just be for the food. The lace charged me for two Of those plates instead of one. In the end, I guess I was ok with not being refunded for the second plate only because it was delicious.

Guera V.

Yelp
We don't live anywhere by here but we literally take the hour drive just because it's bomb. Highly recommend!

Nate S.

Yelp
The shrimp ceviche and shrimp cocktail were good. They both came with lots of tostadas on the side so was nice. The ceviche has bigger pieces of shrimp and mine had a grip of salt but after letting it sit while I ate the shrimp cocktail, all of the seasoning settler in the bottom and then it was perfect. Next time I will bring an avocado and just eat it out of that yummmmm.

Charles H.

Yelp
Very large menu with all sorts of Mexican-style seafood specialties. It was a lot to take in while standing at the counter. Would have preferred a printed menu at the table. Brought the two kids. Started with 1/2 dozen oysters ($7.95), which were a bit small, but they gave us two extra. Somewhat lacking in flavor, they were served with saltines and limes. Also had a fried calamari taco with avocado and the works for $3.00. Finished with a $10.95 Combination #8 fish filet platter with fries, salad and corn tortillas. Went with catfish, which was very fresh, tender and perfectly seasoned in a Cajun "blackened" style. Salad was really good with cucumber, onion and avocado in addition to lettuce and roma tomatoes. Service was very sweet, patient and accommodating of these first-time customers. N/B - no liquor license for beer or wine, so it might be a better choice for lunch.

John T.

Yelp
Best shrimp burrito I've ever had. Check them out if you're in the area. The shrimp quesadilla is excellent as well.

Luz N.

Yelp
This place is so clean and welcoming. It is located near an industrial area but surprisingly, the area is pretty safe and the staff in this restaurant is very friendly. The food is outstanding. This is my number 1 stop when I am close to LB.. You have to try it!
