Marisqueria Galápagos - Review - London - The Infatuation

"The first smattering of pictures from Marisqueria Galápagos, an Ecuadorian restaurant in Lewisham Shopping Centre, have made us very keen on visiting. Plates are piled high with seafood and rice, prawns hang off the side of glasses filled with ceviche, and we’re keen to join the groups piling for a plate of la bandera. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation

Very nice food, fresh fish, authentic! The atmosphere could be better (we’ve been on a Friday for dinner) but apart from that was very nice, would be amazing to have some more atmosphere like a proper Latino restaurant.

Really lovely food, freshly prepared and such generous portions. If you want to explore traditional Ecuadorean food I highly recommend this place. Muchas gracias, todo muy delicioso!

The portions are huge and delicious. The seafood rice can feed a small family and I ate most of it in one go because I couldn’t stop eating.

What a hidden gem! We were curious to try this Ecuadorian restaurant in Lewisham and it was a great surprise! The food was fantastic, with generous portions and great flavour. We started with the calamari, followed by a delicious prawn dish in a creamy garlic sauce and seafood rice served with plantains (a huge dish). The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices were very reasonable. If you're looking for a tasty meal in Lewisham, I highly recommend giving this place a try.

The best seafood rice I have eaten in a long time! Full of flavor, generous portion and good amount of seafood. Happy to have Ecuadorian food in this part of London.

We had an amazing seafood soup with generous quantities of crab, mussels, clams, squid and more. We were made very welcome and will definitely return.

I had high hopes for this place after seeing great reviews and a TikTok video, but my experience was disappointing. The staff seemed uninterested and tired, dropping the menu on the table without a greeting. When we ordered shakes, we were told the person in charge had left because she was tired, in a tone that felt lazy and dismissive. We decided to leave, as the service didn’t meet expectations. Maybe I’ll try again someday, but the first visit wasn’t great.
