Fergusons Downtown expands to add more dining, bars, and a skate park - Eater Vegas

"Plans for the Market in the Alley include the formation of a permanent “community gathering” plaza, sitting between 11th Street Records and a long shuttered laundromat. The outdoor venue will be available to lease by the public." - Bradley Martin

Market in the Alley is an inspirational, creative, good vibes, artistic event supporting local small businesses. I had no idea this was going on 2x monthly and started in 2017. Enjoy the music, food, local business creations, and also support of children and their creative entrepreneurial development. When you start to think we're going to hell in a hand basket, go to events like this one, to ground you and bring you back to center. Some pics of gracious vendors who opted for a photo with this amateur, mmm, beginner behind the lense.

Market in the Alley pops up at different locations around Las Vegas. There are a lot more vendors at the Arts District location than over in Centennial Hills. I've gone to both and they're great. The vendors are always friendly and welcoming. There are baked goods, trinkets, pet treats, vintage clothing, plants, produce vendors and a lot more. You've just got to know which location they're going to be at, which they post on their instagram.

Obsessed with Market in the Alley! I’ve been a vendor and a shopper, both have been great experiences. My fav location is Uncommons, but you seriously can’t go wrong at the other locations as well. So happy to have an arts organization like them in my town

Having experienced Market in the Alley Arts District from both sides—as a shopper and a vendor—I can confidently say it's a gem in our community. Not only does it support local businesses, but it also exudes all the good vibes you could hope for. From the diverse range of products to the welcoming atmosphere, it's a place where you feel a sense of belonging. Whether you're there to browse or sell your own goods, it never fails to deliver a wonderful experience. Highly recommend supporting this fantastic market!!

Market in the Alley is one of the best events to attend with very unique finds. If your a small business or business in general I’d highly recommend starting your business at a market in the alley as there team is amazing. They have some of the best market coordinators.

Yelp
So excited for all of the things Fergusons Downtown is doing and is about to do. This past Sunday I attended their Market In The Alley and I still can't believe this is the first time I've gone. If you want to see a bunch of amazing local vendors (vintage/handmade goods and local food vendors), then Fergusons is a must. They are still an in-process creation, but they are doing some incredibly impressive things by bringing together many talented small business to help support Las Vegas's downtown scene. I highly recommend that you keep an eye on their schedule of events and markets, and well as their prospective official opening. These are the types of business that will enable and empower local businesses to thrive in our growing economy.

Yelp
Support local businesses by shopping Market in the Alley the third weekend of every month. The location is an actual alley off of Fremont Street across from Fergusons Downtown. With COVID-19 quarantine rules in effect right now, Market in the Alley went virtual for its April 18th and 19th weekend and you could shop local vendors online (several have brick and mortar shops at Fergusons Downtown). I bought a couple of stickers from The Doodling Nomad, some postcards with exclusive designs for the Market from Mary On Adventures, and a spray bottle of hand sanitizer from All For Our Country. The next Market in the Alley event is scheduled for May 16th weekend and I'm guessing it will again be virtual if we aren't out of quarantine by then. All you have to do is shop online that weekend and check out what's available from local artists, makers, and curators. And, when we're allowed to mingle again, you can attend the market in person and support small.

Yelp
Be a FOT...not a THOT. Nestled diagonal from PublicUs is a place full of budding wonder called Fergusons. You know, the space with the giant semi turned up on its nose? That place. It's being renovated from a busted old motel to a place of sheer enjoyment. Yes it backs up to the DTPA private residence trailer park. Yes it has fun stuff during Life is Beautiful. Basically its "kinda not built yet", so for now we have to enjoy The Market which are local vendors selling their very lovely and unique goods. Macrame, crotchet beanies, exotic cupcakes, jewelry inspired by MCM cinder blocks, wearable flower crowns with added unicorn horns........its all here at The Market. The Market actually opens up to the back of the Bunkhouse and resides next door to the space that was to be The Wheelhouse but never existed. Is all this a bunch of DTP made up bullshit? Is this for only FOT and not the general public? Is it just a Downtown Cult hangout? The world may never know... Just joking, its for everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D

Yelp
OMG!!! I've lived in Vegas for 5 years and I can't believe I've never been here before. We go to LA a lot as well and between LA and Vegas this is easily my favorite market. It's really curated and has a truly small business feeling. I can't wait for this to grow more. I really love that they also encourage child entrepreneurs.

Yelp
This is my first time at Fergusons Downtown, came down here one the 3rd Sunday of March. It was like the First Friday except that it is at day time. I saw a lot of unique stuff that was sold by local people. They are very friendly and approachable. They sell stuffs that you probably never see at malls. Left and right items are very interesting, some graphics on the shirt are actually funny. There are some food trucks at the end of the hall just in case you get hungry/thirsty. They sell out alcoholic beverages too. They actually have green beers during St. Patricks day. I got myself a Pineapple splash Tea at one of the Kona truck there and it taste so good. They have a lot of free taste too! I like the atmosphere and the vibe of the place.

Yelp
The vibe here was everything! Everyone was so friendly and there are plenty of lovely things to find. You can bring your fur babies as well. Support your local small businesses!

Yelp
Awesome atmosphere as always. Loved the stickers and art at Mary on Adventure's (@maryonadventures) stand. Also always worth a stop by Mike's Recovery (@mikesrecovery), great products! Only bummer was the lack of food vendors available this past market.

Yelp
HANDS DOWN THE coolest place you'll visit in Vegas. Perfect for everyone!!! Has everything for kids, to adults and pets. This is the one thing I look forward to every month. If you haven't checked it out, definitely do so! You won't regret it at all.
