Market Lane Coffee

Most kind and helpful team! I visited looking to buy a pour over kit and whilst this location primarily serves as an office and roastery, the staff were incredibly helpful and got me all set up. They even took the time to make me a coffee and explain the process.

The vending machine is there, but I wouldn't recommend getting their coffee from here. My coffee packet fell to pieces in the machine and that's my coffee on the ground 😭

The place looks amazing so I thought I’d get a good coffee in there. How wrong I was! The coffee was bitter & burnt, which ever oat milk brand they’re using is absolutely awful! At $6 for a small size I expected a smooth, delicious coffee. There’s no room in this world for bad tasting, expensive coffee. Won’t be going back there & wont be recommending it either.

Was very happy that Market Lane finally opened a café in Brunswick! The café has a minimal clean design look, their coffee tastes great and most of the staff are very friendly, EXCEPT one barista with short black hair who has been rude and abrupt to customers, which kind of ruin the whole vibe. When I visited the café last Sunday a little passed 7am and commented how great they are now opening early, she complains to me that there are no customers that come in that early. Today, I went back there at 7:45 after the gym, the door was open so I walked in to an empty counter. When she walked out from the back, she was shocked to see me and told me that they are not open until 8am now and almost shushing me out of the door!! She tried to explain to me some weird opening hour they have, which is very confusing. Why don't you put up a sign and lock the door if you are not prepared to open this early, for god's sack!! What a shame, one staff ruins the otherwise a fine café!! Be warned!!

Edit: thanks for letting us know! can't wait to stop by on my next late night drive! There is no vending machine at this location anymore, and there's not an easy way to find out where there is one. Good coffee though!

The best coffee and customer service! The team are also incredibly kind and friendly and go above and beyond.

expected better as thr cafe is so pretty and its right in the middle of sydney road, brunswick coffee was super watery and hard to drink, watched the barista resteam the milk
