Market Provisions Review - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"While we can’t endorse Market Provisions for dinner, brunch is a whole different story - it’s one of the best in the Beverly Grove neighborhood. There menu is large and full of things that every picky/dieting/not-dieting/hungover person in your group will be happy eating. The service is also excellent and even though crowds have gotten more intense over time, the place still feels very local. Oh, and it’s $5 bottomless mimosas with an entree purchase. There's an older lady who hands out samples for smokin upstream products who yelled at me with plenty of attitude when I dared put a small trash item in her trash can. She tried to make me stick my hand and retrieve it. I told her not with all that other food trash in there. That's disgusting! I was specifically going to purchase the product since I was heading out of market and it's refrigerated. After that, I have no intention of giving even one penny to that business. I also let the young lady at the counter know how rude she was being and how it all happened. She was quick to defend her but then the older lady comes to counter and continues verbally berating me. Once she walks away, younger employee understood and apologized as she didn't realize how bad it was. Never stopping there again. This was a few weeks ago during watermelon festival weekend.

Usually I enjoy going in this shop. But I went in today and was taking a few sips of my drink, and the woman behind the counter basically HARASSED me, “we’re NOT a restaurant, pull your mask up!” I was taking a few sips of my drink, and was quickly going to put my mask back up (meanwhile, I am a vaccinated individual and STILL wear my mask). Either way, her yelling across the store with an attitude was unprofessional in my opinion. I put my produce back and walked out. I will NOT support a shop that embarrasses it’s customers and yells at them from across the store. This happened today. 4/18/21 at about 2:10/2:15pm.

They turn your business down if you don’t wear a mask. Lady working the counter was very rude about it and so very proud to say they are a private business and “can make whatever rules they want.” Sorry to say that they live in and promote fear to anyone walking around. They are also located within the farmers market where thousands of people are walking all around them without masks. Where’s the logic?

Friendly staff, great selection of healthy, delicious local food items. Located at the Dallas Farmers market. Love it. PS. Check out the local, organic Music Garlic when you visit, is the best.

Market Pro is a nice little general store inside a small indoor mall with small shops and food spots . Nice place to have in downtown where stores are limited but apartments are not.
