"Once the tasting rooms close, locals head to this St. Helena mainstay for a casual, elegant meal of simple but very good American food, like the organic fried chicken, chopped salad, and the “very adult mac and cheese.” The bar area is a great place to post up for a couple drinks, oysters, and a butterscotch pudding served in a waffle cone cup that’s nothing like a supermarket snack pack." - christina julian

Wife wanted zinfandel. They were out but poured sips of different recommendations until she found the closest replacement. Bread, oil, and bal. vinegar best ive ever had. Pork chop and filet mignon perfectly cooked but a little light on the seasoning. Veggies were perfect and flavorful.

Market never disappoints! Incredibly warm welcome. Solid menu. Fabulous food: A classic Rueben and fried chicken. Good & hot and served quickly. We're regulars and we will continue to come back.

Very good food! Kirby was an amazing person and helped us decide what to order. Don't skip dessert! The banana brulee was delicious, and the butterscotch pudding is to die for! My gluten free wife had no problems finding yummy food.

This restaurant offers excellent service, but parking at the location requires attention. The dishes are unique, although the lamb shank was too salty. The corn soup is delicious, and the baby pork chops are tasty. However, the table placement is a bit cramped. Overall, it's a good experience!

Firstly, the food is amazing. Especially what's in the photos (tuna tartare & lobster roll). Best tuna tartare I've had!!! Secondly, Alfie the server was an absolute hoot and a half and took our dining experience to the next level! Would definitely recommend this place for top notch service, laid back atmosphere, and good food!

The lamb and potato fries were to die for. The pork chop was a bit tough for medium. Definitely recommend.

Always great food & service but it’s been years since the overall decor has been updated. Think about candles, florals or small plants on the tables. Consider changing out the artwork with local artists near the front of the restaurant. Background music could be louder and lights should be slightly dimmed for better atmosphere.

We have had lots of different food and experiences during our visit to the US. Today, we arrived in Napa, driving through St Helena, and my wife spotted a little restaurant called Market. We managed to park on the street nearby. The greeting and service was as good as the food itself. Fabulous find. We shared the crab salad, then Jane had the fish tacos, and I had the best scallops I ever had. Alfie was our server, and what a server he was. He knew the menu inside and out.
