We had an amazing experience at Marktküche. We took the 8-plate menu with a pairing of wine and non-alcoholic beverages - all of which were delicious. I was amazed by the variety of taste that can be achieved with vegan only food. The waiter were also very welcoming and friendly throughout the 4hours that we ended up staying here :-) only downside would be the not so nice neighbourhood if you are on the terrasse, but of course nothing that the team can do about so overall I can only highly recommend the place and hope to be back on day!

I had the pleasure of dining at this fully vegan restaurant in Zurich, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience. I opted for the 7-course tasting menu and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food and the meticulous attention to detail. Each course was paired with a different type of wine, beautifully presented at the beginning of each dish. This thoughtful pairing elevated the dining experience to a whole new level. The waiter was incredibly friendly and professional, adding to the overall positive atmosphere of the restaurant. The ambiance was inviting and comfortable, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed yet refined dining experience. As someone who was initially skeptical about fully vegetarian dishes, I was pleasantly surprised. The roasted brioche and homemade pasta were particular highlights, bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. This was my first experience with a fully vegan menu, and it exceeded all my expectations. I can confidently say that I will return at the first opportunity. If you’re in Zurich and looking for a top-notch vegan dining experience, this restaurant is a must-visit.

Fabulous, high end vegan restaurant, with set 4 to 8 course menus in the evening. The food is prepared with a lot of attention to detail, very creative and well executed. The atmosphere is comfortable with helpful and friendly staff. On the expensive side, as you would expect, but in our opinion worth it for the quality you get.

Best vegan restaurant in the world in my opinion, and trust me, I've been to plenty of swanky vegetarian/vegan places worldwide. Needless the say, the place is not cheap, but worth every Swiss Frank that you will leave in this establishment. The food is outstanding and the wine pairings are just perfect. The elegance in each dish, the creativity and mix of ingredients, and subtle flavors were the features I enjoyed the most. The place is immaculate in its austere decor and the location is just the perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable dinner experience. Service is very professional without being stiff. Just Swiss made.

One of the most amazing Vegetarian (let alone Vegan) meals I've ever had. Did the "gourmet" (tasting) menu which consisted of an amuse bouche, three savory and one sweet dish. The amuse bouche I'm not exactly sure what it was... it involved some red quinoa and a semi-sweet sauce, along with possibly some diced root veggies. Next followed the lambs lettuce salad with chestnuts, orange fillets and some sort of crustini. From there it was a celery soup poured over diced saffron apples. The combination of flavors was amazing and the soup was deliciously thick. Following the soup was a pumpkin "quiche" which was thankfully on the smaller side but quite rich, creamy and enclosed in such a wonderful pastry. A sprig of oregano stood out of it and complimented the autumn dish. The last savory dish was a house made spinach "root" ravioli. It was three giant ones - the pasta simply perfect and some microgreens to go along. There was optional white truffle which of course I had them put on. Happened in front of my eyes, done to taste, with a scale gauging how excessively you were going :) The dessert, a chocolate cream with some (I think) poached fruit on top was fantastic. My only regret is that I was too full to put much of a dent in it! I did the tasting with the wine pairings which worked out perfectly. Each perfectly tied to and complimenting the dish. Thanks very much to the two servers who took me through that meal - simply amazing!

What a lovely surprise to come upon this small restaurant in Zurich. The food was delicious and the service, although short staffed that night, excellent. We ate to our hearts content a la carte. If we had come earlier, we would have done the tasting menu (note to self about the next time.) Tobias the owner was waiting table that night and he was fun to talk to, as was the lovely woman helping us (forgot her name=bad). We came straight from the airport with our car, so we wouldn't miss our reservation and that proved to be a bit of a drag, but Tobias suggested leaving the car in a "secret spot" (unless the cops find you and give you a 40 CHF ticket, which didn't happen). So we drove there, ate well, met some really nice people, and didn't get a ticket. A win win situation and a good start to a new relationship with a great restaurant in Zurich.
