I went to the Markus Divinus winery today and I had an amazing experience. Mark, the owner, is delightful and the passion he has for his wine is felt in his every word. Went to Markus Divinus for a wine tasting since we had a taste of his wine at a restaurant before. Mark hosted us in his very cosy space where the wine is also produced. The wines are very exceptional and Mark informed is very passionately about his wines. We got also a taste of his home made olive which was great to accompany the wines. It was a very interesting experience from which we learned a lot ! Thank you Mark

Sue, my wife and I, have visited numerous wineries in France, some in England and have to say that our presentation and tasting with Priscilla at Markus Divinus was up there with the best. The six wines we tasted were exceptional, each with its own style and personality, but what completed our enjoyment, was the enthusiasm and knowledge Priscilla showed in describing the wines, plus her description of the passion the owner has for producing the highest possible quality in his wines. We will definitely try one day to return to Malta and make another visit.

A small company with a big heart. Mark conducted a passionate tasting, letting us discover the stories behind each of his excellent wines. If you visit in the evening, walking through the dark access alley and seeing the warm lights of the cellar from afar is part of the experience. Highly recommended.

We were introduced to Markus Divinus when we had a bottle of their Zareen at Noni, and we immediately wanted more for this vineyard so sought to set up a tasting. To our incredible fortune, they happened to be arranging a dinner with a wine pairing for the day we wanted to visit, and we were able to get a last minute table for this event. Each of the six wines we were served at this meal were absolutely exceptional, and the meal itself was better than most of the Michelin starred restaurants I’ve eaten at. We did not enjoy the swing-remix music that played throughout the entire four hour experience at all (my girlfriend particularly hated it), but it did absolutely nothing to detract from what was one of the most exquisitely flavorful experiences I’ve ever had. If you have the opportunity to get your hands on these reservedly low-production wines, take it. And if you get the chance to enjoy a meal or tasting at this vineyard, leap at it. The pasta with three types of sausage and honey is one I will immediately attempt to recreate at home, and the beef with carrot syrup, coffee, and chocolate was like a midway point between beef bourguignon and mole, but better than any version of either of those dishes that I’ve ever had. Infinite stars.
