We had our wedding at The Castle and could not have been happier with how the entire event turned out. They were super amenable to every request we had and went above and beyond in making sure our needs and our vendors needs were met. The space speaks for itself in the look and aesthetic, the catering/food is outstanding, the staff are wonderful. Our guests still rave about our wedding and how beautiful, delicious and fun it was. The moment I discovered The Castle, I knew it was the perfect space for my wedding. However, my future husband was more reluctant to wed in a secluded and industrial corner of Brooklyn…until I took him to the venue’s open house and he saw the wood burning fireplace, the gorgeous prep kitchen in the corner of the dining room, and the unique character of the space including gorgeous tiled floor and disco ball. It was a done deal as soon as we met the events team whose thoughtful and friendly support was clear from our first conversation. I could not be more pleased with our choice of venue, and truly cherish our experience throughout planning to the big day. The rave reviews from my guests have been plentiful- several said it was the most fun wedding they have ever been to and largely because the venue was so charming and approachable, making the entire event feel intimate, refined, and perfectly personalized to our personality as a couple. Long live Red Hook, and long live The Castle! If you get married here, fair warning: everyone in attendance will be charmed by the ambiance, thrilled by the fantastic food, and leave with memories of a truly unique evening.

The Marlow Events team helped cater and coordinate our wedding at Shell's Loft Fort Greene, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out! Our event manager was Macy and she did wayyyy more than just the catering component; she helped us with rentals, figuring out all the nitty-gritty of how to set up the space, and the floorplan. The team there is super organized and they even had a personalized set of spreadsheets for us to help us keep track of everything. The food from the chefs was incredible — we’ve gotten so many raves from guests about what their favorites were, ranging from the duck to the squash to the grains + mushrooms to the hake (this ended up being our personal favorite!). We had guests who were inspired to start buying and making honeynut squash at home after trying it at the wedding. 😅 In addition, we and our guests felt so taken care of by the waiters and bartenders. They were so friendly and accommodating and we loved that they recognized our Broadway soundtrack (: We thought everything was perfect and it was truly such a magical night for us and our guests. ❤️

We recently attended our son and his now wife's wedding at this venue. It was very impressive. The staff seemed to effortlessly turn the ceremony room into the cocktail reception - all the while serving hors d'oeuvres and the especially yummy signature cocktail - when all the guests were in the room. It just happened. The room and table settings for the dinner were just beautiful. The food presentation was really nicely done and oh so good. The cocktail reception had then become the cake presentation and cutting by the bride and groom. The evening was picture perfect.

I just attended my daughter's wedding on June 8th at The Castle. They did a fabulous job. From delicious, interesting food to turning the rooms in a timely manner to accommodate the ceremony, cocktail reception, dinner and dancing. They did not miss a beat. Our experience working with the entire Marlow Events team was seamless and enjoyable. The Marlow Collective does everything exceptionally well, so I never had any doubt that they would deliver an amazing catering experience, but our wedding day still exceeded all of my expectations. We really appreciated the communication with the team leading up to the event and how they worked with us create a bespoke menu that was fully in line with our vision for the event. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared, and we heard from many of our guests that the best 'wedding meal' they had ever had. Do not hesitate to book them!

We had our wedding at The Castle could not have been happier. The staff are we incredibly helpful through the whole process and really helped to alleviate stress day-of. Multiple people came up to us and said it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding! I knew immediately I wanted to have my wedding here, but it was also such a relief to have the event space, catering, and rentals all taken care of as soon as we signed the contract. I didn't have a specific vision in mind for how everything needed to look, but I knew I could trust the team to make it incredible.

We absolutely loved having our wedding here! The Castle team is incredibly professional and kind, and made our wedding day a complete blast. We did a family style dinner and the food (in house) was more than we could have ever dreamed! They did a wonderful job navigating our dietary restrictions so we could live our best farm-to-table dreams. A perfect seasonal menu and we got compliments on the food all night long! It was just the perfect size venue for our 65 person wedding, accessible and easy to navigate, in a beautiful part of Brooklyn. We are so happy with how everything turned out and couldn’t have asked for a better experience with the castle and their team.
