Marmont Heritage Hotel (Part of Dalmatia Luxury Hotels & Villas)

The perfect home base for your Split adventure. It is so centrally located, but easy to walk to from wherever your taxi drops you off. Filip at check-in was very friendly and helpful. There are so many great places within walking distance of this hotel. The rooms are also very spacious, especially considering that it is in the heart of the old town. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for 6 nights and although the rooms are quite small they are very comfortable. The staff we found very helpful and rooms cleaned thoroughly every day. The hotel is in the old town and near to main squares and harbour. Our only concern has been the breakfast as you couldn’t order fresh breakfast like omelettes although any non residents could. Plenty of fruit but breakfast could be better.

Stay here for 3 nights, the gentleman who checked us in could of been a bit more helpful when asked for recommendations in the city. We also had add an issue were our room was not cleaned during the day when out and had to ask the same gentleman on the desk to sort. They missed the opportunity to offer a free drink from the bar as we wait however was not forthcoming, I had to ask for him to let us know when it would be ready and spent money in the bar as we waited. Other then that room was ok and breakfast fine nothing special. Good location.

Checked in on a very rainy afternoon. The receptionist was so friendly and spent some time about what to see and was so helpful about restaurants, excursions during the rain and what to avoid. I really appreciated her time and the time the young lady who worked later spent with my questions.They just explained how some of the most popular attractions just were not going to happen with these conditions. I just felt they were really cautioning me about scams, itinerary changes and what can happen to those of us who aren’t familiar with the area.

Excellent hotel. Loved the air con for when we needed it, plenty of towels (including facecloths which you don't often get. Also robes and slippers too. We had a room upgrade which had a nespresso machine also which was great. Very clean, stylish and brilliantly located hotel. Also a proper hair dryer. Would highly recommend. |Just note that if you do find yourself seeking entertainment in the hotel rooms, we couldn't get our phones to cast to the TV at all and no access to apps like Netflix etc to log into. Couldn't really watch TV. As we were out most of the time, this wasn't a major issue but something to consider if travelling with kids maybe. |Also, hot food in the hotel breakfast wasn't great but the rest of it was fab.

Stumbled across this place looking for a “civilized” lunch and what a find. The wine and charcuterie board were first class as was the service. Well worth a visit if you are looking a bit of sophistication and downtime without breaking the bank.

This hotel is fantastic. Other than being right in the heart of the old town, a few metres away from anything you need, it is quiet, classy and clean. What makes it stand out though are the staff. We'd made an error - that could have ended terribly for us as a family on the last day of our holiday - and turned up in desperate need of some human thoughtfulness, and they were utterly brilliant. Calmly, they sorted our problem without asking any questions or making us feel awkward. The professionalism and standard of service is the best I have received in any 4 star hotel in Europe in a long, long time. Other than it being a great location, lovely brekkie etc, it is its staff that make the hotel so great.

Great food and even better staff at the restaurant 🙏🏽 I'm visiting Split now during Christmas time and I have been for breakfast and dinner and the staff is extremely nice and welcoming. The food is so delicious
