Marriott and Family Brand Camp Create New Kids Clubs - AFAR

"This new 450-room all-inclusive resort, opening in spring 2024 with bookings already available, represents the brand’s first direct entry into the all-inclusive market and will be the debut site for an immersive Camp Club. The kids program features destination-inspired, sensory and experiential play led by Camp counselors—activities include make-your-own-guitar workshops, high-energy movement classes with dancing and singing, guided arts-and-crafts in a creative corner, slime-making at a signature Schmutz Bar, interactive games and storytelling, and themed environments with colorful graphics and sequined “disco cabins.” The property also offers nine specialty restaurants, water features such as a lazy river and water slides, staged entertainment, and conservation initiatives to protect endangered sea turtles (nest protection, turtle releases, restricted beach access during nesting season, and five annual beach cleanups)." - Devorah Lev-Tov

We cannot say enough about our amazing stay! We were truly able to relax and felt so well taken care taken care of! Jesus and Patricia at the cabanas by the pool are so attentive and made us feel like rock stars! Jasson and Enrique at the lobby are are amazing! Every night was an experience with bartender flare and new and exciting cocktails. We cannot wait to come back. Marriott all inclusive Cancun is filled with lovely staff who make your stay special.

The Marriott Cancun was a wonderful experience! The recommended transportation was easy to set up and figure out at the airport. My husband and I were staying for our wedding anniversary. We were upgraded to an ocean view that was beautiful. The room was large and had a great view. We set up a wine tasting with their sommelier and had a wonderful time, it was in a private wine room in their Hana restaurant and it was a great time. He did a wonderful job, then he also set us up with a special dinner at their Italian restaurant that night with our wonderful server Carlos (usually in Delphina). He had a special menu for us, we didn't have to order he brought out delicious food. We also had a couples massage which was great but there isn't a spa right now, it was in a room with massage beds. The adults only pool was wonderful, although if you do want a chair you should put your stuff down early in the morning. Our final dinner was at Delphina, the staff there was amazing, Carlos, Samantha, Flavio and Jesus. They took great care of my husband and I and Carlos again gave us a special order and had a speciality dessert for us! It was a 10/10 experience.

The Marriott Cancun All-Inclusive was, without a doubt, the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The quality of the food alone sets it apart. Every meal felt like fine dining, with a variety of gourmet options that catered to every craving, whether it was authentic Mexican cuisine, fresh seafood, or international dishes. Each restaurant brought a different experience, and the ingredients were always fresh and expertly prepared. The room was another standout. It was modern, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with breathtaking ocean views that made it hard to leave. The attention to detail, from the luxurious bedding to the well-stocked minibar and thoughtful room design, made it feel like a true escape. As for the amenities, they were on another level. The pools were pristine, the beach area was perfectly maintained, and the service throughout the resort was consistently top-notch. Whether it was the spa, the fitness center, or the daily entertainment, everything was designed with quality and relaxation in mind. Even the smallest details, like the seamless check-in process and friendly, attentive staff, added to the overall experience. Every part of my stay felt effortless and elevated. The Marriott Cancun All-Inclusive truly delivers what a luxury vacation should be: exceptional service, incredible food, and a setting that feels like paradise.

We found this resort to be a welcome refresh of the prior Casa Magna and truly renewed our belief in the all-inclusive concept. The environment, though family focused, provided ample opportunity and venues for adults to enjoy quiet time. I would suggest early risers identify poolside chairs as premium spots can quickly be claimed. The restaurant choices were quite varied and delicious. We particularly enjoyed Delphina, a Mediterranean concept with stunning beachside views and the impeccable service we received from Marcos. We will definitely return!

I stayed here for three nights and had the best time, I did not want to leave! The pools were amazing, clean and refreshing. The beach was beautiful. Food was great with a lot of options. The transport process to and from the airport was effortless and they made it very easy to access reliable transportation for any tours we wanted to do. Shout out to Leonardo who served us at breakfast and who was incredibly friendly and helpful. I will 100% be coming back with more friends & family!

Just left the Marriott Cancun All-inclusive. We spent 5 nights here and had a great time. Would definitely rate it 4.5 stars overall if possible. Rooms are good and clean, ALL the staff was friendly and helpful. Food was great in general but a couple of the restaurants for dinner could've been better. The pools were good but lots of kids. (As to be expected at an all ages resort). The beach is washed away in spots and rocky and like most of the Riviera Maya right now the sargassum is a problem.

We had an amazing time at this resort for my husbands birthday! And the FOOD! Did not disappoint! Get the seafood tacos!! |Very clean resort!! |Service was amazing!|Giovanni was the best bartender at the adult pool! And we got couples massage and the ladies were amazing! I’m pretty sure I fell asleep. I wish we would have brought the kids, because it is a very family friendly.

I stayed here for 5 nights and had a great time. The staff upon check in was very nice and cordial. The rooms were great, the pools were fantastic. It's located not too far from the airport . The restaurants can be a bit hit or miss sometimes (some are great, some are okay) . But you can order food and get it poolside, and pool bar is great as well. Definitely recommend staying if you're looking into AIs in cancun. The only thing I'd say is that there aren't really that many entertainment options at the location . They also have some water based activities that are great for both the adults and the kids !

Yelp
The Marriott Cancun Resort is an absolute paradise! The property is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views, well-maintained grounds, and a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing everything you need for a luxurious stay. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a great experience. The dining options are fantastic, with delicious food and drinks to enjoy by the pool or at one of their restaurants. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the best of Cancun. It's perfect for a getaway, it's an all inclusive resort and you will have all the options to relax there

Yelp
This is the WORST experience ever. If you are planning to go to this hotel - don't. 1. They employ racist, rude, and inappropriate staff that called to my wife "princess" and my 3 teenage daughters "gringas." I complained but you'll see a recurring theme here that nobody is in charge at the Marriott. 2. I am the highest level at Marriott (platinum), which is also a scam where they charge more $$ if you log into Bonvoy with your status and try to use the points you work all year to accumulate. 3. I made one of my reservations through bookings.com at a $1,000 discount for the week - BIG MISTAKE. Bookings.com charged me ~4,200 USD and Marriott said they had the payment but changed me anyway. Note that the line to checkout was 45 mins because only one person was at the deck (and nobody in charge). When I finally got someone to help me, they saw the bookings payment and said that was OK. 2 days later, $4,264.84 showed up on my AMEX. I've now called three times, and each time, nobody is able to help me. I stay at US hotel chains because I expect you'll have at least one person who speaks reasonable English. I've now called three times. No managers are working or willing to take my call, or "no manager is working at the time I called". It is a nice property that is poorly managed.

Yelp
this is the first all-inclusive marriott in cancun! the resort is stunning at first . when you walk in, you see directly in to the window on the other side of the building of the most beautiful ocean blue! since we were there around christmas time, they decorated the lobby so beautifully. the rooms are super nice and clean. we had an ocean view room and it was simply amazing to nap in bed with the sliding window open to hear the ocean breeze. the pros stop there though. food, service, entertainment are pretty horrible and i was feeling torn about this review because I loved my ocean view room so much. food: 1. HAVE to make reservations or you'll be hungry. this is the first all-inclusive resort i've been to where they are incredibly strict on this. you cannot show up early or late or they will give up your spot and put you to the back of the line... even back if people who didn't make reservations. 2. lack of food options: if you don't make a reservation, good luck. the buffets for the restaurants are all breakfast only and they have the slowest cooks in the world working. the only coffee shop of the resort has laughable options, pastry options are minimal, and food terrible. 3. ordered room service several times and they never showed up. the phones don't work properly either other amenities 1. outside pool is small although they have an infinite pool which was nice . not the worst complaint about the hotel but wish it was bigger 2. they have a lazy river! this was really fun option although i wouldn't call it lazy because it went pretty fast. it was fun but the water was super cold! i highly recommend it though! 3. gym. it was small but clean and did the job 4. no entettainment: i kind of felt bad for the kids because it is BORING. there is no night or day entertainment. they do have a really cool looking kids club but that's it this place is a good option if you are not traveling with children or don't like food :p I'm not sure I would come back to this resort unless i had credit. i did give this place 3 stars though because while it could be waaaay better it had a clean and nice feel to it... compared to other resorts i've been to

Yelp
A great all-inclusive resort, beachfront on the beautiful Cancun riviera, with white sands, swim up bars, and multiple bars and restaurants. The rooms were recently remodeled, spacey and comfortable. Service is excellent at all the resort outlets. Food is four stars, which means very good, with room for improvement. The breakfast buffet is good, but not on par with other comparable resorts. Lunch offerings are weak, they definitely need to improve their variety and quality. Dinner on the other hand is very good, with multiple restaurants; Mexican, Polynesian, Japanese, and American, generally pretty good. The atmosphere is cool, with activities for families on the main pool, and adults only at the smaller pool. There is also a lazy river and water slides, but the best asset is of course direct access to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world!

Yelp
We highly enjoyed this resort! The service was absolutely amazing. I barely sat down and already had a server taking my drink order. The water park area is small but fun. It is a little chilly because it's in the shade a large part of the day. The people at the waterpark were so kind and helpful. They help you get in and out of your tube. My kids absolutely loved the pizza. They accommodated my picky son. I highly recommend asking them to make your personal sized pizza. I enjoy going to the cevicheria and having the seafood tacos at the stand next door. The shrimp tacos were my favorite!!! All of the drinks that we had there were really good and we tried almost all of the bars. My daughter loved sitting at the bar down by the beach because you could sit in the swings. My daughter did go to the kids club briefly.Just to do one activity, and she really enjoyed it. The kids club staff did come and find us down by the pool, and she went and played a game with some other kids in the pool. At one point they were doing face painting, and they actually did a really good job. For dinner we went to the steakhouse. My kids and my husband each ordered two steaks and they said that they were amazing. I ordered the fish, and it was really good as well. We have been to a number of different all inclusives in Cancun, and this one definitely rated up at the top.

Yelp
Annually, our family vacations in Cancun. This year we were a party of 16-6 Adults and 8 children 10 and under. This was the first time we stayed at the Marriott All Inclusive Resort. Since we read online about the "extensive" renovation, we thought this should be a great trip. Not to be! The rooms were average at best. The entire group had to upgrade in order just to get decent accommodations. The online photos are a joke and not to be anticipated at what you will experience. I will say that our ocean view was spectacular - of course Marriott is not responsible for the view but credit to Mother Earth. This facility boast 450 rooms, stop. Yet they do not have enough chairs to accommodate the people who would like to use the pool. In order to get seating by the pool, you have to reserve them - which means you get towels and place them on the chairs you want to use. And the joke is there are signs around the pool stating very clearly chairs are not to be reserved for longer than 2 hours, or they will be available to whoever else comes along - great rule no one enforces this. I've personally witnessed several guests coming almost to blows about this process. If you're not down by 7 AM to reserve your chairs, good luck finding any after 11 AM - so much for sleeping in! The dining is limited to four restaurants and the food is fair. The staff tries their best to accommodate you, but they are limited in what they can do. The Marriott family needs to get their act together, they would not stay at this facility. If you're going to tout the facility as 5 stars, then you need to deliver to the guests who go there for a 5-star experience and not deliver less than what they are accustomed to. Back to Garza Blanca!!!

Yelp
Extremely disappointed with our stay. We get an email from the staff saying that there are several things that are closed: fitness center, spa, water park, and kids club are what they mentioned. They email about 1-2 weeks in advance of your stay and I couldn't cancel without penalties at that stage. The main reason we booked it was for the kids club and water park. As you can see from their website, they advertise it's completely renovated and they suggest the resort will be complete by April 7th, 2024. Completely deceptive and they penalize you for being on this resort since it's running at half capacity. You also get to enjoy the nice sounds of construction while you are at the pool since everything is being renovated. When we arrive at the resort, there is more that is closed. Press + Start is barely open; No arcade games are open. There is barely anything to do while you're at the resort. Hana restaurant is the main area for breakfast; it's supposed to be open for lunch but it's closed. All the restaurants are generally 15-20 minutes ready after the suggested opening time. Maybe it's worth the renovations but otherwise stay away from

Yelp
Amazing Hotel with Wonderful People!! My wife and I visited this hotel for the first time in September 2024 and enjoyed it so much went back in October for a quick weekend. I was a little hesitant going to an all-inclusive, but was pleasantly surprised. Every restaurant was great and the service was top notch! I would highly recommend this resort.

Yelp
5 Stars Marriott Cancun An All-Inclusive Resort This is our third time staying at this Marriott property previously known as the "Marriott Casa Magna" but now known as the "Marriott Cancun An All-Inclusive Resort." We spent our 25th Wedding Anniversary here in March of 2014, and I decided to bring my wife back to try to duplicate a truly memorable experience for our 35th Anniversary. In 2014 I wrote: Second GREAT Experience! Mar 2014 * Couples I recently spent my 25th Wedding Anniversary at the Marriott Casa Magna and had a wonderful experience. This was the second time I have stayed at this venue-my family also vacationed there in January 2013. This is a real gem, with outstanding service from the staff, great restaurants on site and near by (I highly recommend the Argentinean Steak House and Tiki establishments on-site, and the Crab House and Fred's Seafood across the street). Right on the Gulf, with tons of water activities available. Here's a tip: If you go as a couple, do the his & her's massage!" Well there are a few updates: 1. This is now an "All Inclusive Resort" so you will save a ton of money here as compared to the JW Marriott next door, even though their room rates are slightly lower. The only draw back: more kids!!!! Stay away during Spring Break! 2. They have COMPLETELY renovated the hotel/resort! The rooms are much nicer than our last stay a decade ago. We stayed in an Ocean View, All-Inclusive, Guest room with a King bed and Sofa bed with a Balcony that offered a spectacular view. 3. The Hotel Staff, especially our Concierge Filipe but really ALL of the staff, were truly OUTSTANDING! Unfortunately Room Service leaves MUCH to be desired, e.g., a muffin is NOT the same thing as an English muffin, and a Club Sandwich is NOT the same thing as a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich! 4. The restaurant changes are real upgrades, and the food is delicious. The Chef poolside (see photo attached) prepared an off menu dish for our special occasion--coconut shrimp with a honey glazed dipping sauce utilized in one of the shrimp ceviche offerings- exquisite preparation and presentation! The only other observation and recommendation that I would make is that this properly MUST set boundaries and establish rules that are uniformly and consistently enforced regarding children in the hot tub! Hot tubs should not be utilized by small children generally, and certainly no one should ever dive off the edge of the hot tub into the pool! That is a formula for a serious injury. Many guest were complaining about not being able to utilize the hot tub because it was basically being utilized as the "kiddie pool." I hope this is "cleaned up" and corrected before our next visit. Might I suggest after my discussion this morning in the hot tub at 8:30am with four other complaining ADULTS the following policy: "NO CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 15 IN THE HOT TUBE AND NO DIVING OFF OF HOT TUB ALLOWED" or even better, "HOT TUBE FOR ADULT USE ONLY!" This is a REMARKABLE Marriott property with a tremendous staff, and we will be returning soon, this time with our adult children in tow.

Yelp
Would not recommend this resort. Restaurants weren't great. Limited options, quality of food was just ok. Very sleepy resort with no entertainment in the evenings at all. Ate off property multiple times. The service was really good but was difficult getting the room we booked. Booked a king bed and they said they only had a room with two double beds but said we could upgrade. We didn't want to upgrade, just wanted the room we booked and paid for. After talking to a second reception person, we finally got a room with a king bed.

Yelp
One of my favorite hotels EVER! If you've been there before, there's a good chance someone on the staff remembers you. The rooms are clean, I got a beautiful view of the ocean, and guests are all friendly and happy which goes to show how good of a job they're doing. This hotel is connected to the JW; so you can walk on over there and try the restaurants there out too. The pool is spacious with a swim up bar, and a decent sized hot tub that overlooks the ocean. The beach portion offers cabanas, chairs, and a beach bar with fun seating and hammocks. I always have a great time here and looking forward to my next stay here along with seeing the renovations they're doing

Yelp
I'm starting the review with saying that I love this place a lot, but I can't give it 5 stars due to it's location. Why? the beach resort is a great idea... but I don't see anywhere that reminds people that there are a lot of rocks on the beach. On my 2nd time being at the beach, the wave lifted me up and slammed my knees onto a rock slab. It's not safe. I sat down and recover, only to find a couple of people bleeding on both shins due to all the rocks. We need to protect our knees. Safety aside, the place is fantastic. The pool and the beach water is of warmth and inviting. My visit is in November 2022. They offer 1 free class a day, and I attended the Yoga session as well as Zumba. Sadly, not a lot of people attend, but I'm so glad it is being offered. The hotels are interlinked and I can easily buy things without worries. I would definitely come back to this place, but might skip the beach on this end. The rocks are seriously dangerous

Yelp
This hotel is just wonderful! The rooms are nice and clean. Nothing overly fancy, but it was a comfortable stay. The hotel has a great restaurant with a happy hour. The prices were so affordable and the food was delicious! I got a steak with macaroni or something like that and it was so tender and one of the best I've ever had! I want to come back just for that! The pool and lounge areas are gorgeous! They also have a giant chess set outside with some other games. You have direct access to the beach where there's a cute little bar with swing seats, cabanas, and a ton of chairs to hang out. So great overall!

Yelp
A friend got married at a Marriott a few years ago and the resort was gorgeous, so when I was planning my birthday trip, Marriott was on the top of my list. The Cancun location was equally stunning. Breathtaking views, private beach access, delicious restaurants. I couldn't have asked for more! Being connected to the JW Marriott through a covered walkway was great as my birthday dinner was over there, and it was raining really hard. I upgraded my room to the Premium Ocean View, which overlooked the grounds in addition to the ocean. Housekeeping came multiple times a day, and replenished water bottles in the room. There was complimentary candy, and nuts available the first day. Even though my room faced the pool and hot tub, I didn't hear too much when the balcony door was closed. There were three of us, each in a fifteenth room type, and we agreed that this hotel was worth every penny.

Yelp
Hotel was under construction and was not informed. Early wake up alarm was the drilling of jackhammers. We also had an overflowing toilet and had to be moved. New room had no working outlets and a walk-in shower that was not draining the water properly. The elevator doors close so fast that it hit my arm trying to stop it from closing on me that it bruised so bad. Worse dinner was at MO's - we were the only guests in there, and we got cold fries and an overcooked burger. Disappointing!!!

Yelp
Came here with my in-laws and family - 7 of us total. Great rooms. Spacious, clean and quiet for the most part. The bathroom is a good size and the water in the shower is great. The beach is amazing and simply perfect. The food is good - what you'd expect from an all-inclusive. There are bars everywhere. Just stress "mucho (alcohol)" so the drink isn't too watered down. Water sports are readily available via the hotel or third parties on the beach. Area itself is very secure. Price was very reasonable. Staff are attentive and nice. Overall, I would come here again but there are many things that they can work on: 1. Single biggest issue: only 2 restaurants are air conditioned and the others don't have fans. Dinners are HOT and HUMID! 2. Restaurants routinely run out of menus so we had to share. 2. Service in all of the restaurants is slow. Perhaps we were on island time but it seemed like they were simply understaffed 3. There's not much shaded outdoor areas, which can be a real problem in Cancun. The areas that are shaded don't have fans. Basically, you have to watch out that you don't get heat exhausted, which is a problem if you're traveling with kids or elderly people. 4. The sound of the ocean comes into the room even with the door closed. Some might find this relaxing but I found it annoying when trying to sleep. The beach is quiet so we didn't have to deal with party noise, etc 5. There are no activities after night fall. So other than drinking after dinner, there's not much to do. 6. The outdoor restaurants (eg casa madre) have few overhead fans. Dinner can therefore be really hot. This seems like a very simple and low cost fix to implement. 7. There is essentially no table side service by the beach. So if you want a drink or something to eat, you have to go and get it yourself. 8. One of the lobby TVs only plays Fox News which is really annoying and the other big screen only plays M TV. I wish they played videos of Mexico, its sites, and the Caribbean. Being on vacation usually doesn't involve watching Fox News or music videos!

Yelp
HUGE disappointment from the moment of arrival onwards. So they now have a guard and a gate with a list of names. Seems I was not on it. When I got to the hotel entrance, the bellman checked for my name. Again, not on his hand written list. He directed me to the long line at the counter. Short version of the story, though my reservation was made directly on the Marriott website and I am a Lifetime Gold Elite, my membership number failed to come through to this hotel. I had a split reservation meaning I paid for 4 nights and used a credit card anniversary night for the 5th night. Under "special requests" on the reservation I noted this. The hotel had not noted it. Had my elite number been received by the hotel, I could have checked in - no wait- at the special desk for members. Instead, correcting all the issues took about 4 hours!!!! I was upgraded from a resort view room to a partial ocean view room. My room looked directly over at the JW Marriott and only from the sliding glass doors/balcony could I see the ocean. The room was very clean. The tv was beside the bed and at an odd angle. There was supposed to be nightly turn down service, but I only received it one out of five nights. One day I did not receive maid service at all. I think it is because they thought I was leaving. On day 4 into day 5, I was technically checked out and had to check back in. This meant my card key stopped working as did my internet access. I again waited in line about a half hour. Both times at check in, I was given a card with "freebies" that were a part of the resort fee. I had already been in hotel a couple days and had not received the 2 snacks. I never received them the 2nd time when I checked out and checked back in, though I was told I would. I didn't use the 2 free drinks as I don't drink hard alcohol. I attempted to use the nicer gym at the JW Marriott (was told I could ) only to be told at the JW, I could not use it. I was told by staff this hotel will close in March for renovations and reopen as an all inclusive. This was my 6th Cancun stay in 2022, and my only stay at the Marriott. (I spent around 90 nights in hotels in 2022) I would not stay here again.

Yelp
The staff are amazing and friendly and the service is outstanding! Literally outstanding. The hotel is clean the rooms are nice. We always felt safe and cared for. The food leaves a bit to be desired. It was super hot when went and we were not allowed in any neighboring properties by security which made us wonder a bit but overall very very nice.

Yelp
April 06-09, 2022 Brought my 74 year old mother on her first international trip in over 20 + years... and her first time in Mexico. It was such a blessing for her to experience my love for Mexico, the culture, the food and the beautiful people . Grade A staff - Tania - delivering excellent Ambassador Service. Room upgrade. Check-in and gift. Smiles and a warm personality. Richardo - Helping my disabled mother to the beach. Funny guy and a kind heart. Adan - my turtle buddy still there giving smiles and big hugs. Meet him Oct 2020, and was so happy to see his face again. Fernando and Juan Manuel - with excellent menu recommendations making our experience at Hana amazing. I loved that they let us know what was the best options, and I trust their palate and meal options. Food was spot on. Maria - boss lady for Champions giving excellent customer service after a small issue that is not worth mentioning, she came through and made it all better and that is all that counts. Gustavo (server) and Vanessa (on the violin) - at Gustino Italian @ the JW, giving my mother and I the night of our life. A moment to remember. Attentive customer service, Vanessa serenaded my mom with her favorite song and didn't even know it. My mom had a moment and Vanessa let her have the spotlight. All the staff - warm, happy, welcoming, friendly and fun. Hotel food is absolutely delicious and so many options. Marriott REALLY outdid themselves with this location. I didn't have a single dish that I didn't like.... everything was deliciously amazing. Hotel room - Manga Suite, I couldn't have asked for a better surprise. Room was immaculate, spacious, shower hot water was soooooo relaxing, and the view is breathtakingly to die for. Bed super comfortable. Hotel facilities - immaculate and relaxing. Oct 25 - 28, 2020 Covid Protocol - temp checks, sanitizer available everywhere, masks required from staff and guests throughout the facility. Menus for restaurants use SQ codes. No room cleaning unless requested or every 6 or 7 days. I felt more at ease during my stay. Transportation - pick up in time, sanitizer, temp checks, sprayed luggage, and shoes before getting in the van. Masks required. Hotel Appearance - immaculately clean. Well decorated and cozy. Wasn't overdone high-end but more nice and homely comfortable. The whole vibe was very relaxing and peaceful. Room - Ocean view. Double bed. Cozy and clean. Hotel Location - obviously it's in the hotel zone... but I have to say the beach location was one of the best. Great spot for great water. Staff - the absolute BEST asset to the hotel is the staff. Hector the manager... humble and kind. Jael not only checked me in but was there for all my questions and assisted me above and beyond with a smile. Leonardo and his bright personality... always giving compliments and kind words with plenty of laughs. Francisco in the Cafe was an absolute doll, made me the best frappe, and did everything with a smile, so personal and kind. Freddy and Frio for breakfast... thank you for making breakfast more than breakfast. It was an experience. And dear Elizabeth down on the beach at Sacbe who gave my friend kind words of encouragement... it meant more than you know. The love the staff gives is more than customer service. Turtles - Adan (working with the turtles)... thank you for letting me hold a baby Tortuga. I don't think you understand my passion for turtles as they are mi alibrije. And this touched me to my soul, I will remember that moment forever. I can't wait to come back in July as you suggested. Food - i am big on eating local street foods when I'm in Mexico. I genuinely hate eating resort food as its usually bland, boring or Americanized. Everything I had here... was exceptional. Matter of fact... I ate everything twice. I'm a salt-a-holic and I didn't need any for my dishes. This will always be my ONLY choice for Hotel stays in Cancun.

Yelp
I came and stayed for two nights. I was warmly greeted by the young man at the desk as I checked in. Check in was quick and easy. My room was very clean and spacious. In spite of not having a room that faced the pool, I had a great view of the ocean. My balcony was huge and very comfortable. All of the employees with whom I had contact were very friendly. COVID has certainly hurt this resort with their occupancy rate and it was evident the employees were very happy to be working. The beach here is stellar. It was easy to find a place where I wasn't close to others. The lounge chaises provided were very comfortable. You can also order food and drinks out by the beach. The same goes for the pool. It was super relaxing and you could order food and drinks if you so choose. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend you do the same. Especially if you are looking for an elegant stay away from the masses.

Yelp
Beautiful resort! The service has been good so far! The 750 degree pizzeria had wonderful empanadas, yummy pizza, and a very delicious blt sandwich that was welcoming after our long trek in to the resort from the airport. The water is the most wonderful shade of green/blue. You'll love seeing it!!

Yelp
Hands down one of my favorite Marriott to jet off to when looking for fun in the sun without having to spend along time flying to get to. + Friendly staff +Elite recognition, and was easy to use Suite Night Awards. Plus when dining at the onsite restaurants ( including the JW), they offered an free app or drink as recognition. A small discount when making purchases at the gift shop. + Nice Pool- Go early to get a chair and then migrate to the beach during lunch time as the crowd tends to come during later in the morning. While not deep at all, it has a nice swim up bar. + Large hot tub + Great beach location + Hotel has been updated and repairs completed to fix damage done a few years back + Easy to walk between the JW and Marriott. Plus, your expenses between the hotel can be charged to your room. + Nice select of restaurants between the two hotels; however, expect to pay more as it a restaurant hotel + Activities can be booked via the concierge or at the activities hut near the pool towel stand with Aqua World Con: -Resort fee of $25/day, which I don't really see any value in ***If available, I'd recommend the Caribbean Suite, nice wrap around balcony with great views, especially during sunrise/sunset.

Yelp
Checking into the Marriott we were given hand sanitizer upon arriving and before walking through the doors of the resort. The reception desk had plexiglass partitions up. I provided my name to pull up my reservation and then asked for my passport and credit card to cover incidentals. This process took about 10 minutes which included a form essentially attesting to not being exposed to COVID. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer in front of the elevator when heading to our room but I do not recall seeing one outside the elevator on our floor. When walking in the room, the sun and water were straight ahead and looking very inviting. I could wait to change into my bathing suit to hit the beach. We had two single hand sanitizer wipes by the phone on the bed side table and two small complimentary bottles of water next to the tv. The resort is absolutely beautiful. They have a few onsite restaurants and we're remodeling one of them during our visit. We did order some food from the beach grill that came from somewhere in the hotel and we also tried the pizza at 720 (the convenience type store they sold beverages, beer, wine, liquor, clothes, snacks, gelato, and souvenirs. The staff we encountered we all nice and friendly with big smiles on their face. This is not an all-inclusive property but worth a second stay when going back to Cancun.

Yelp
The breakfast staff was nice. The people behind the desk was stiff and uninviting. In fact on our last night March 22, 2023. I asked Luis for a change of towels and take trash out when we got back from our day. I forgot to take the tag off the door to have housekeeper do it before we left that morning. After 2 hours, I asked the Lupita at the front desk again to please service the room. After 4 hours, I saw Lupita and Luis laugh when I walked by because they realized they both had forgot to put my request in. I thought that was extremely rude and asked the operator for their names. During our stay I remember other people treated unfairly and had many complaints at the front desk. Which it didn't look like the front desk didn't do much to help. Also our first night, our flight was delayed and we got in late. The only restaurant by the pool was open till 10pm. When we got there (starving) at 9:20pm, they said the kitchen was closed and they stopped serving at 9:30. The kitchen wasn't even cleaned yet and they would not serve us food. They said they RAN OUT OF FOOD. Yup, lazy employees said a MARRIOT hotel ran out of food. I guess it never got better from that point forward. Don't expect the coffee maker int he breakfast bar to work every day. Its hit and miss. The best thing about this place was that the room had a kitchen and full size fridge. Other than that, it was eh!!

Yelp
We loved our stay at this hotel. The staff is helpful and friendly all the time. The room was not huge but adequate and comfortable. The hotel and rooms are newly renovated so everything is clean and modern. There is a resort fee which is actually a good deal if you do all of the stuff that is included. We did not, but at least you get a reasonably fast wi-fi connection. There are nearby restaurants and of course the hotel has its own bars in the lobby and by the pool. The hotel has a fantastic beach which is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. We had an ocean view room and it was spectacular. Whatever the extra amount you pay for the view is worth it. We hope to return to Cancun again soon and when we do I expect that we will stay here again. Note: in late November 2019 the construction was finishing up so pretty soon it should be quiet. We did not hear any noise from our room but when you walk through the lobby there was some noise.

Yelp
Unbelievably beautiful y paz, mucho paz. Stayed in room 6093 and had an ocean view as well as a pool view. The room had 2 comfortable beds, air conditioning, two robes, no coffee maker, a table and some chairs etc. We really didn't spend too much time here as we were out sight seeing but it was so nice to come back to the hotel at the end of a long day and be greeted by the bellhops that would open the door to the lobby with the best view, stop by the pizzeria/gift shop for a slice of delicious pizza or a gelato then reflect on the day. We did try the breakfast buffet at Sasi Thai and thought the food was ok. The servers and staff were very accommodating, spoke English and allowed me to practice my Spanish with them and even created their version of huevos rancheros per my friend's request. The pizza/gift shop was a real life saver because there were a few times I'd come back to the hotel at the end of the night hungry after a long day of snorkeling or sight seeing and the pizza would be ready to go. We also happened to be at the hotel on Mother's Day (a day after we celebrate it in the U.S.) and they had a brunch buffet on the beach which was the best meal I ate the entire vacation and it only cost $25 U.S.D! We were so lucky to experience a brunch buffet on the beach with the incredible view of the ocean. Some favorites of mine were the cafe de olla, challa agua fresca, churros with dipping sauce, chilaquiles, waffles, asada tacos with guacamole. There was so much more but we had to catch our flight. To me, the lobby at this hotel is WAY better than the lobby at JW Marriott. The view when you walk in is spectacular and there's a bar at the lower part of the lobby complete with a huge T.V. screen playing music videos. I also appreciated they had a resident D.J. spinning music in the lobby at night. While this isn't a spring break party hotel, you could easily enjoy the music and feel like you're at your own private party in Mexico at the bar. Also there's tons of seating televisions (while the bar t.v. plays music videos, the lobby T.V.'s had Fox News or CNN on) and stations to plug in your electronics in the lobby. It makes for a great place to hangout or do work. TOURS! We booked two tours via triple A or word of mouth and each time the tour bus would arrive at 7:20 a.m. to pick us up at the front steps of the hotel. Everyone would be out front waiting for their tour bus and I learned that if you're not out front when they get there, the tour bus person will leave a receipt with the bell hop as proof they stopped by and waited. Everyone in this hotel was very polite and went out of their way to help us. There are two ATM machines by the gift shop that either dispense U.S. dollars or Mexican pesos and if I needed change, I'd head to the front desk to get smaller bills, BUT they only gave you the change in pesos, never in U.S. dollars. I highly recommend staying here if you want to relax and have a great stay and just have a hint of party vibes.

Yelp
I booked this anniversary through Costco. When I arrived, the hotel desk informed me that the reservation was canceled by Costco. I called Costco and they state my reservation was valid. Costco purchasing team and Marriott reservation team were discussing my case for hours. Marriott's solution was I reserved a room at 2x the rate I originally paid for, until the situation was "resolved". I was in a foreign country, non-refundable excursions were booked for pickup at the hotel, and rates at almost all hotels nearby were expensive due to last minute bookings. It was a very scary situation, and I felt Marriott didn't care at all. They just wanted to squeeze cash from me or for me to leave. I felt that the proposal by Marriott was ridiculous, as I originally had 15 nights reserved at 1/2 the rate with waived resort fees. Obviously, I declined. Fortunately, Costco was able to resolve the situation and provided me a new reservation number. Though, I'm not sure if I was deliberately punished due to this incident. I was placed in a room near the elevators. Regardless, the criticism that everyone had here is valid. Non-stop construction noise, sorghum everywhere, people reserving pool chairs with towels for hours, salesman near towel area, and very pedestrian food for a four star resort. I feel unless you are some elite Marriott member, they just see you as disposable. I'll focus on enjoying my stay, since it is Cancun and it's beautiful. However, I do recommend people avoid here unless you have Gold status and are booking directly. Otherwise you will be treated like trash.

Yelp
This hotel was an overall disappointment. I'm very unhappy at the quality and lack of value this place has. We normally go to all inclusive resorts but this not inclusive. We figured we'd be able to dine at the resort or around the area but due to the small island size and touristy area, there's a severe lack of restaurants in the area closest around this hotel; and all the dining options at the hotel itself were almost always greasy, extremely overpriced, tasteless and barely any options. We had food at la isla and the restaurant below the pool area. Both was very overpriced and a complete waste of money. On the last day we splurged on going to the buffet only to see that there is a very small range of food consisting of low cost foods. Either way the food was yet again, flavorless and a waste. The pool was okay but it had one depth level and had algae growing on the sides. The staff would also constantly approach you to see if you want to buy food by the pool. We had gone to the hotel right next to this resort (the second Marriott) and saw how high quality everything was in comparison. I know that prices make a difference in quality but is it wrong of me to expect at least a basic level of quality and value? The resorts decorations were very basic and uninteresting; I wish there was a little more flavor to the architecture. Most of the stuff around the resort were almost in a state of constant breakage. We had bought the room facing the ocean and coincidentally had no neighbors on the right side of us; I thought that since we have nobody next to us it'd be quieter, but surprisingly the walls are very thin and could hear every bang, thud, and sound the neighbors were making on our left side. Also this hotel is quite far away from the street so if you want to walk around, this place isn't built for that. The resort itself is quite spread out and only has TWO elevators, so if you live on the sides or on the ends, you have to walk from one end of the resort to the elevator and back again just to reach your room. This hotel NEEDS at least two more elevators on each end of the wings. Regarding COVID regulations, I saw a few staff and people not wearing their mask correctly nor utilizing sanitization stations as prominently as they should be. Most stations were by the elevator and were consisting of low quality hand sanitizer "foam??" The sanitizer mats at the main doorway was also constantly very dry and lacked any purpose. So if you want a place that is COVID friendly, this place is very loose with how they run it; so be vaccinated if you come. Also I forgot to mention! The house keeper came into our room every other day but I consistently found dust and grime. I don't think they properly wipe everything down rather they just tidy up the area so it visually looks clean. I know that this review may seem like I'm just bringing down the resort just because I'm cynical but trust me, I try to keep a very open mind and absolutely love going to resorts and have stayed at much lower quality places. So that's why I was extremely disappointed to see how much money was wasted at this resort. I'll go ahead and write some good points to at least balance it out. There was a singer every so often who would come and sing for an hour or two. There also was a few buildings and structures that have grass roofs and island-y decorations which I liked. Most of the staff spoke a bit of English so it wasn't as hard as I anticipated to communicate. We accidentally moved the fridge and got charged for everything inside but they were very willing to reimburse us since we didn't eat anything from it; normally in past experiences hotels will only charge half of what was charged even if you didn't eat the stuff. Anyways, that's all. I hope whoever reads this can be properly prepared when deciding to come here. Good luck.

Yelp
We absolutely loved our stay here. Everyone was polite and helpful. We asked for a late checkout and without hesitation we were given one. Manuel at the poolside bar was so friendly, he made us laugh and was always so polite. (Thanks Manuel). The room was a good size with a large balcony overlooking the pool and ocean. We loved everything about our stay. Transfer to hotel: we used the Marriott transportation the van driver sprayed our shoes, took our temp and got us there in less than 15 minutes, the cost was $19/pp. Food: the hotel has a few good restaurants but right across the street are two delicious restaurants - we really enjoyed Fred's House, the food and service were top notch. There's also a small store a few doors down to purchase snacks, beer, wine and liquor. ;D The restaurant and store was a five minute walk. Cleanliness: there are people cleaning railings, elevators and spraying the lobby, all workers were wearing masks as well as guests. Outside by the pool no masks, everyone was enjoying themselves and not uptight like back in the states Covid tests/ the hotel provided Covid tests for free, they were ready in a few hours, the process was seamless, easy and the test itself was in the nose but nothing like we've seen on tv. We enjoyed our stay here and will be back!

Yelp
Stayed here for my first international trip to Cancun. Let me tell you, this hotel is amazing. The service is fantastic, the place was clean, it is in a great location and I felt safe the entire time. It is about 15 min away from the airport and not to far from downtown. I admire this hotel because of how secluded it is, it is not a busy street and overall it was peaceful. The access to the beach was a plus, the AC inside was very much appreciated and there were a lot of restaurants and bars inside the hotel. HOWEVER, the food was not the best. Although the restaurants inside were beautiful, the food lacked flavor ( I tried 4 within the hotel) The drinks were flavorful but they held back on liquor for how expensive it is. Overall, I will definitely come again for my next trip to Cancun! Definitely recommend the ocean front room!

Yelp
Fuck this hotel and fuck it's front desk who can't answer any questions. Been waiting outside the airport for an hour, always replied the shuttle bus arriving in a moment, never showed up. Poor customer service!!

Yelp
This is my third time staying at the property and it never, ever disappoints. The beach is immaculate. Their covid precautions are on point. Total Marriott quality from top to bottom and they make everyone feel like a VIP. Also, just a short bus or taxi ride to downtown. Bus is only 12 pesos and runs continuously.

Yelp
Expectations met and beyond We frequent Cancun for pleasure and routinely stay at Marriott's Casa Magna Resort as recently change the name. This time we debated at length to change it up and go back to The Ritz, JW, or any of the 1000 other hotels in Cancun. In the end, we opted for what we know, and the great pre-arrival experience of Karen Enriquez. A true gem of Caribbean. Our flights arrived delayed due to weather. Once at the hotel, we were met by an alway friendly doorman, and a Wall being built in the middle of the lobby. We were taken a little aback by not knowing there would be renovations, but thankfully it only mildly impacted our stay. We are told it will be completed by high season in December. After checkin, we settled into our suite 3042, for ten days. The room has both incredible direct ocean front view, and direct side view of the pool. An oversized wraparound balcony is large enough to entertain, but intimate enough to just set back and enjoy the sunrise or evening sunsets. The housekeeping department had prepared a personalized welcome message using colored rice, and room service had champagne chilling on ice. We had a few special requests, including trading the pullout sofa bed for a real mattress, all of which were carried out seamlessly without a fuss. It's this high level of service and caring that keeps bringing us back. Housekeeping keeps everything tidy and everything works as you would expect. The daily breakfast buffet has a huge variety of both regional favorites, and international cuisine that is sure to meet everyone's taste. This was an extended stay, so having an ever changing and large variety is a plus - since who wants to go out for breakfast. It also lasts until 11:30-12:00 so no need to bolt downstairs as the crack of dawn. Everyone's great and provides great service. Enrique (with the shaved head) is one who takes service to a whole other level and Christian at the omelet station will make your eggs to order- just the way you like. Since Cancun is a regular destination for us, our goal for this trip was simple. Just relax. With a great beach and pool, mission accomplished. Since this was the off season we found ample small tiki hits with chairs, private cabanas and the beach almost to ourselves. We were delighted to see many upgrades around the pool including a tiki hut styled shady area had been installed. The true test of a beach resort is when Mother Nature doesn't cooperate. We had a couple of days of rain, and the water was murky and had a seaweed problem throughout. We heard this was a recent occurrence over the last year. Still, found the crashing waves relaxing and service outside to be spot on. We tried the Thai restaurant again and the food was excellent. The only other in property restaurant we tried this time was Champions the sports bar themed venue you. We don't like the ambiance of this restaurant as it's big and usually empty, yet loud. But, when you absolutely need Nachos or a burger at midnight, this is the go to place. We've now experienced this resort in every season and can tell you it is first class year round.

Yelp
I had a mediocre, 3-star experience on the trip. The problem is that I emailed some reasonable, constructive feedback and received a canned response saying nothing could be done. I emailed back with suggestions to improve in the future and then never received a response, despite my years of staying in Marriott properties as a Titanium member. Before you book, ask if you want to stay somewhere that will deny responsibility if anything goes wrong? Somewhere that has no accountability? Another issue was that I was told by the front desk and the concierge that restaurants would be booked full on Christmas day, and the only place with availability was their flagship restaurant. The flagship restaurant had an $85 per person buffet serving ham and turkey. Rather than pay $85 for what was essentially all-you-can-eat turkey, I walked into one of the other on-site restaurants, and it was only 10% occupied. I got seated right away without a reservation. Clearly, they were not being honest about all their other restaurants being booked full. Since I was told the same story by both the front desk and the concierge in separate conversations, I believe the decision to tell guests that all other restaurants would be full was a top-down decision. Regardless, even if it is a result of individual integrity issues or just ignorance of their own restaurants' availability, the result is a massive breach in trust.

Yelp
Beautiful! I've stayed here 3 times now and have always enjoyed myself. The hotel is at the end of an extensive remodel. The new lobby opens to a dramatic effect with its grand scale and new, modern aesthetic. Amazing little coffee/gift shop, great restaurants and super friendly staff. All the stress of the COVID drama will seem like a million miles away without the media scaring the crap out of you every 2.5 seconds. Yet the hotel is taking it seriously, and the appropriate measures are being taken to keep hotel guests and employees safe. The beaches are stunning! Get an ocean front room on a higher floor and wake up to and be mesmerized by the exquisite bands of blue water and powdery white sand. Sip a cocktail at the swim up bar and luxuriate in an impeccably maintained ocean front pool; or rent a cabana and sip on a cocktail whilst listening to the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Truly a home away from home with all the comforts and so much more!

Yelp
We stayed here for 6 days and we absolutely loved it. The front desk allowed us to check in at 10am and gave us an upgraded room free! I did enjoy the little store they have in the lobby, good place to grab a quick bite or some snacks, the ice cream is amazing, don't pass that up! We chose to not have housekeeping come in daily just a day here and there and they always provided fresh clean towels.

Yelp
While this was a comfortable hotel, I do not recommend staying in the Cancun hotel zone. I have traveled all over Mexico, and quintana roo is undoubtedly the most corrupt Mexican state for tourists. Corruption starts at the airport with dishonest car rental and makes its way to the Marriott with police extortion. What was fantastic. + Upgrade to a oceanfront suite. + Speed and efficiency of covid-19 test. + Free, extremely convenient parking at the hotel. + Pool, hot tub, and access to the JW Marriott pool and hot tub. + In room Wi-Fi. + Modern, fast elevators. + Room comfort. + Walking down the extremely tiny Beach and jumping into every other hotels pool. What was terrible. + 6 plus dollar service fee ATM. + Worst concierge I've ever experienced. + Beach. Tiny Beach. Extremely Rocky and usually unswimmable. + Location. Cancun hotel zone, contrary to what's normal, is a terrible part of town for a vacation. And this Marriott is dead center. This means, the longest possible drive to anywhere other than another hotel. The entire hotel zone is set back several hundred yards from the main Street. The only reason to stay here is if you intend to spend your entire vacation at the hotel. Or, if you intend to drive at least 60 minutes to get anywhere other than the hotel zone. + Police corruption. While this is not the fault of the hotel, the location of the hotel makes 100% of its guests prime targets for Cancun's extremely corrupt Police Department. And when a Marriott guest is a victim of police corruption, 2 extortion attempts in my case, the hotel provides zero assistance.

Yelp
This is our second stay at the Marriott resort. We were upgraded to a partial Oceanview with a king size bed. My husband and I stayed here for a romantic getaway and this place is everything we could possibly want. It has beautiful pool and beach side, easy access to delicious food, clean and quiet rooms, COVID safety was a priority. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
A mix of pros and cons, so I'll call it a solid 3. At the end of the day none of this really matters because you are in Cancun, and chances are the weather is perfect and that's all you really need. But, a few things to note: Pros: -All rooms have a balcony, and our room had one facing the ocean which was lovely. And speaking of room, the bed was incredibly comfortable and might have been one of the best hotel beds that I've slept in. -The bathroom was super nice and I loved the the large marble shower. -The pool has a swim up bar! Though it's hard to get a chair at the pool there are lots of loungers available on the beach. -Though this is not an all-inclusive resort there are plenty of onsite dining options including a sports bar (with karaoke!), Italian, Thai and Japanese. There is also a grill at the pool and a restaurant at the beach level. Plus there is a cafe in the lobby with a pizzeria and a coffee shop. And you are walkable to several restaurants on the main drag. Needless to say you will not go hungry. -We needed taxi service a few times and the hotel was quickly able to arrange that for us. Cons: -The pool area was kind of a hot mess. Chairs on top of chairs on top of chairs. Lots of screaming kids (it's not adults only). Because of this I opted to hang by the beach, though I'm normally more of a pool person. -The hotel also has a weird layout. I wish there was a way to get to the pool area from the lobby, but instead you have to go around the side. It's confusing, and doesn't feel like a natural flow. -Despite having a Titanium status upgrade we were literally given a downgrade. We requested a king but were put in a room with two doubles which was a disappointment. They also did not mention this at check-in, and we didn't find out until we got to the room which was annoying. And speaking of check-in, it literally took an hour which was really frustrating after a long day of travel. This is a perfectly fine resort and for what we needed it fit the bill. But after having stayed at Secrets (next door) and the Hyatt I'd probably select either of those over the Marriott because of the pool, outdoor grounds and 18+ policy.

Yelp
5/4/22-5/9/22: Our stay at the Marriot Cancun Spa was amazing. The hotel was extraordinarily clean and exceeded our expectations. The staff was very nice and professional. I would absolutely stay here again.

Yelp
This was an amazing resort that's not too crowded and had the beach within few steps away. Great service, great view, reasonable price and not so crowded that we got to enjoy our time off here. And if you do stay here, try their Thai restaurant as well as Japanese restaurant that hibachi (their food is little salty). Why not a 5 star? Other than these two places, food kinda sucked. Wished they had more food options.

Yelp
This is a beautiful hotel located right on the beach in the zona hotelera. There is a huge beautiful lobby that sometimes has live music playing and plenty of spots to lounge and relax. The lobby has couches and tables and a couple activities desk where you can book your fun and play activities. The hotel has several restaurants on site including: Mikado (Japanese restaurant), Sasi (Thai restaurant), Champions sports bar, 750 Degree Pizzeria, La Capilla Argentine Steakhouse and La Isla. La Isla allows you to order on the beach or poolside. You can order at the swim-up bar or anywhere poolside or through the waiters that service the beachside cabanas and lounges. It felt like paradise that I was able to order some tacos, nachos and coconut mojitos right on the beach in my cabana and they brought it all to me. This, I ordered some drinks and food everyday. The hotel has a volleyball court and you can check out balls at the towel desk. You can purchase parasailing or jet skiing right on the beach. The only minor complaint I have is that I wish the poolside drinks came in better glasses or cups. I would love to stay at this hotel again as it is very beautiful. There's a 7-11 and McDonalds across the street just in case you need something quick.

By far my favorite place to be. Best beach best views and the restaurant on the water is amazing and gives you Tulum vibes. Beds are super comfortable and room as impeccable you can't go wrong with this choice i go back 2 a year!

Yelp
I will definitely rate this resort in the middle. Upon arrival, we were greeted with the bellhops assisting us with our luggage and helping us throughout the checkin process. They brought us up to our room. They told us we were supposed to get us each a ticket for a free margarita. That never happened. Throughout the week, we had some food outside by the pool as well as some of the restaurants. Food was good but service was incredibly slow. I do feel that is a common theme in Cancun anyway since other places were equally slow. The pool looks pretty and the hot tub was a great temp. I'm really disappointed in how they close the hot tub at 11pm. We did not feel very relaxed getting kicked out of something that should be for adults at that time of night. They also stop towel service before the pool and hot tub close. We requested new towels a few times due to stains on the "clean" towels provided. On the last night there, we were trying to just lay on the beach around 11:30pm and listen to the waves but some room was blasting music very loud and disrupting a lot of people around. I will say that the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful and we tried to tip whenever possible. I would recommend this place as a nice first time visitor. However, if you'd like to visit Cancun again, I highly recommend going with an all-inclusive resort that has 24-hour amenities available.
