I had an exceptional experience with this hotel. Not only was the service wonderful during my stay, but what truly impressed me happened after I left. I accidentally forgot a very important item — my house and car keys — and I was extremely worried. The hotel staff handled the situation with incredible kindness, efficiency, and professionalism. They shipped my keys to my home in record time, and the entire process was smooth and stress-free. It meant so much to me to have them back quickly, and I am deeply grateful for their support and care. Their honesty and dedication truly go above and beyond. Thank you for your outstanding service and genuine kindness. I highly recommend this hotel!

Was here for an event. I did not stay the night. Popped into the Canyon Bar for a beer and a quick bite to eat. Beer on draft was $8 each and the really awful quesadillas was $23. After tip, $40... 1 person quick meal. OUCH!!! To be very clear, the service was fast and great, the place was clean, including the restroom. Even the live music was good. The only thing I can complain about is the cost of the food and drinks.

The hotel is modern and new. Location is convenient for my purpose of the trip. Housekeeping could be better, though. I ran out of shampoo on the second day, towels are old, with rips along the edges and holes in them, bathroom sink has stain even though they do room service everyday.

We live here in Allen but we had to stay one night at a hotel which was last minute. I typically stay at Westins or Hiltons when I travel because I know the beds are going to be comfortable. I have a few friends who are loyal to Marriott but I never understood why. Plus everyone knows the Marriott in Allen and we've come here for drinks before, so we knew it was a nice hotel. So why not stay here for the night we need to because it's close to home and everything one could need is inside the hotel (restaurant, sundries, bar, gym). We ended up arriving late and were just tired that we just wanted to go to sleep right after we ate. The beds are HORRIBLE. Sheets are stained, and felt scratchy. The bed was not comfortable. The pillows are awful. What was funny about this is the front desk knew I was coming in for a night and had a long week so she said, well I hope you're able to get some rest tonight. To which I replied, me too. I was really happy with everything up until the point I got into bed. By husband and I could not get comfortable and hardly slept due to the lack of quality in this bedding. We were planning on and really looking forward to getting up at 6 to have breakfast at 630 before going about the rest of our business but we did not get any rest. Positives: location and layout of the hotel. I love that you can park on the same floor as your room! The hotel is clean but it's not immaculate. It is a beautiful hotel that has everything. Plenty of space for your meeting or conference. It could have been an awesome staycation for locals. In fact we were thinking about booking a suite for my birthday coming up but there's no way I'm doing that now, and I would not recommend staying here if you are planning to sleep.

Second year for a conference. We ❤️ the amenities the cleanliness of the hotel. The customer service is phenomenal. We get the free breakfast because members of Marriott Bonvoy platinum and Gala is here to service again. She is such a sweetheart on top of her Service and just a wonderful person.

The Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel & Convention Center is in a fantastic location with clean and comfortable rooms. We attended our yearly conference here, and overall, it was a great experience. The only downside was that the restaurant seemed overwhelmed by the number of guests, resulting in slow service. Despite that, the ambiance and the comfort made it a lovely stay.

Overall, this was a good hotel experience, and I would stay here again for a local conference. The room was clean and tidy. My main issue was that the room felt too warm at night with no ability to lower the temperature. Separately, I found the dinner at the Canyon Bar to be quite good—I recommend the fish tacos. Note that while there is a convenient on-site parking garage, it requires a separate fee beyond the room rate.

Check in was great thanks to Joey Garro. He was so kind and made sure we were on the same floor. Room was nice, comfortable and clean. Hotel bar staff was very friendly and attentive. Joey Garro again went above and beyond to take our picture with the beautiful tree in the lobby. Thank you to the staff for a great trip.

I was recently here for a conference, staying five nights. Honestly, I had low expectations for anything in Allen/Dallas, but this well-appointed hotel and its proximity to good food changed my mind. The hotel is beautifully decorated, the food and drink was on point, and service and housekeeping were great. The room was large, overlooked the pool, and tastefully decorated, not to mention spotless. This single location is why I am moving my business stays from Hilton properties to Marriott properties where I am at the time of this review. Across the street from the hotel is an entire cute little walking mall loaded with restaurants and shopping for your convenience and satisfaction. Thank you for the great experience and hospitality.

The hotel hosted our plant show that we were a part of, and I have to say the area that hth show was in was much larger than it looks from the outside. The area and the hallway were nice and clean. There was plenty of parking at the parking garage, tho handicap spots were extremely limited. We did frequent the bar a few times, drinks were well made, tho they were on the expensive side. The selection of Whiskey was small, but they did carry the Buffalo Trace. The food from the cafe was good, again, not cheap, but decent. We had one of the pizzas and it was good. Not round tho, it was rectangular and was cut in several small pieces. The sauce was good, I really like it, had a really good flavor with the other veggies on it. We really enjoyed our time while here.

I'm at a luncheon here and the hospitality was amazing! The food looked good but was a tad bland. They' definitely didn't believe in salt. Great hotel and great luncheon. No issues with parking and this was a great venue to hold an event. Definitely will say the food took this rating down but overall I love the venue!

I stayed here for a work trip, and it was fine. I really loved the area - the walk ability to the Watter Creek shopping complex. But the staff is super slow - honestly it's busy bc of the convention center so they should staff more. It took me 15 minutes to buy a soda which they charged $5 for. The beds were creaky and not soft, and the sheets were itchy. There was a torn pillowcase in the pillow. That said rooms are large and the bathroom is big. It feels like a renovation where they fixed the exterior but not the details of the bed and sheets. Decent for work location.

No issues here - got upgraded to a nice suite. Staff was great and stay was very comfortable. Have stayed here several times and have never experienced any issues. Very clean not only in the rooms but throughout the hotel. No MClub but there is a nice 'elite pantry' that is open from morning till night for Bonvoy elites with snaks and drinks. Also has Blue Bell ice cream cups and popcicles in the freezer under the drinks. Free breakfast for elites is in the resturant and is very good too. Well done.

Not much to say about this property other than it's kind of in keeping with the overall sterile atmosphere that I find that permeates Dallas. Nothing particularly wrong. Just nothing memorable. OK food and an OK bar. Rooms are OK beds a little firm pillows are a little too soft Dash it's not bad, it's just not particularly great either. This was a very central location for a business event and so it serve that purpose. The staff is friendly enough and we're easy to deal with. But as you might expect given its location this is not actually a destination type of place, the pool looks great - no opportunity to actually use it. So all in all just kind of a average run-of-the-mill Marriott property . It served its purpose

My home away from home! First allow me to say, I am a true fan of this brand when it comes to hotel stays. Front desk was great, young lady checking me in was very detailed and pretty much gave a verbal tour of the hotel. Thanks!!! I have a profile, that is set up and usually confirmed during my stays to ensure the most pleasant stay. Plus, I truly enjoy the perks and benefits of their rewards program. The room was great and of course the Television is there with my name on screen to welcome me, as if they knew i was coming. This is always pretty cool to me, celebrity style. I had a pretty awesome view on the 6th floor right down from the concierge lounge. Loaded with water, juice, teas, coffee or soda. Noodle bowls, chips, ice cream, cereal with many other snacks to get you through the night night, day or early morning start. Awesome!!!!! I decided to have a bite as well and the 3 dishes, I tried at the restaurant were great as well, with a few tweaks, they were especially for me. Vegan Style!!!!!!! So, until the next one, Bye-Bye!

Very clean. Rooms are very ergonomic and spacious. Lots of shelving in the bathroom and electrical outlets. We made the trip due to a conference and just fell in love with location. The fact that you are close to the shopping center makes the hotel even more appealing. The location is just a few miles from the Allen premium outlets. It is also a few miles in between McKinney and Plano. They both have a cute downtown worth checking out. It's about 30 minutes north of Dallas. We love the hotel location right off the freeway as well.

We had a FANTASTIC stay here. Everyone who worked here is fantastic. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The lil restaurant was pretty darn good. Everyone we met at our stay was great. The bartenders were so fun and great. Overall a very pleasant experience.

If you are a fan of bed bugs biting your genitals and jerk night managers then this is the place for you!! Veldon was an absolutely horrible person and was simply looking to bait us into some kind of argument or something Other than the multiple bed bug bites on my testicles - everything looked nice but total style over substance Half the lights don't work in the room - and the bugs bite hard and frequently While this was frustrating I enjoyed my 4-night stay - other than the bed bugs - until Veldon decided that he wanted to feel like a alpha and treated me like garbage. There is a reason this place is empty / sorry - many reasons

I would not stay here unless you're traveling for business. I came here to visit family and found that that this hotel charges $16 dollars/night for their parking garage. When I complained at check-in, Marriott staff explained that they could not comp it because the parking is on the front page of their website. When I double checked, I found that it does say that.... towards the bottom of the page under a dropdown menu in the UI, like a footnote. I also asked for a quiet room and was put in the room next to the staircase, which is a great place to stay if you want to hear guests coming and going. There was also a lot of noise from the AC and the freeway outside. At checkout, the front desk CSR said he couldn't do anything about parking because the garage is technically owned by the City of Allen. I am not sure why they are charging downtown parking fees in a suburb 20 minutes outside of Dallas at a sparsely-populated garage. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone since this unexpectedly put me nearly $50 over budget.

We have had a mostly nice stay at this location. The room was really nice with a large shower and great air conditioning. I am only giving this 3 stars because of our frustration with the pool situation during a holiday visit. I'd give this hotel at least 4 stars otherwise. We were told that the pool would be closed for maintenance on our first day (July 2nd) which was already unfortunate. It is also closed on our only other day here. We were really looking forward to some pool time since it's hot during this holiday (4th of July) time. Definitely disappointing.

Let me tell you. When I got the call my dad died I was devastated. But when I was told I will be staying at the Mariott Allen Hotel and Convention center I was hooked! They had all the amenities, a pool, a bar, a bunch of people in taekwondo attire (they get mad when you say karate)... but the most attractive part of this was the complimentary water! There are places in this world you have to pay exorbitant amounts for water (the lobby had it for $4) but this was free! Anyone off the street could take it! The hotel 10 out of 10 My father's death 6 out of 10

I always stay at this conveniently located Marriott. It's a brief walk to my office. The Staff are always friendly and helpful. I recently had to cancel a stay due to covid related issue and Ryan was very friendly and helpful while helping resolve my last minute change of travel plans.

Eight days and Seven nights...Today was my check-out of Marriott Dallas Allen Hotel and Convention Center. A space of retreat this was, from the intoxicating, yet transcendental fragrance upon arrival to the kindness of Ethan and Ryan upon departure. The staff here is that of a Texas Welcome, rightfully they are stationed near the Allen Convention and Visitors Bureau. The welcome was genuine and kind that advertised in both commercial and movies. The rooms here were spacious, minimal, crisp and clean and priced perfectly, especially using Hotel.com...I can't understand why hotels won't offer this price direct to the consumer, the good news is, I was still able to earn BonVoy Points! My favorite was the walk-in shower, with not only a rainfall shower head, but also, a handheld spray component. Self-parking was not only convenient but safe. The walkable areas to dining, groceries and shopping are less than a block away, as this hotel is centrally located within the Allen City limits...a well-thought out construction this project is and it shows! May I suggest the kindness of Lisa, Linda, Ethan, and Savannah at Marriott Allen Dallas Hotel and Convention Center!

The pool is fantastic. Simple but cabanas and a great bar and restaurant. Food is amazing

We have stayed here several times. Our last 2 visits were really off. 2 weeks ago we stayed our room was not very clean the floors were dirty we went and purchased cleaners and cleaned them. Now this weekend we should have had a disclaimer, we brought our 16 year old and 4 year old grandson. Cosplay adult tattoo and bondage convention was taking place. Some how our 16 year old was greeted and escorted and welcomed into a burlesque show. The entire hotel was an open party not family friendly. My family was flashed several times from the windows and the elevator. We were in the pool and we were joined by a group of topless females and several families get up and left it was definitely a show stopper while they shook their boobs back and forth intentionally. Some kind of disclaimer would have been nice. I understand it's a convention center but when you book a family weekend with your grandkid and family you don't want to explain why everyone is nude or dressed in cosplay. Pool was dirty, some glass cut my foot in the pool, and the Canopy area was filthy just a few weeks ago we would have given this hotel 5 stars. It has gone down hill quickly. Almost forgot the man in the 4th floor garage peeing and hanging out drinking!

Nice check in although no one offered to help us with luggage. Parking was $10 per night. Room was fine, clean, and had a comfy bed. We left in the morning to spend time with family and came back to a dirty room. I called the front desk to ask what I had done wrong. They said I didn't request room cleaning. Knowing that would have been nice upon check in. Since we were staying for 6 nights, I requested room tidying every day. They next day the room was clean, the following day it was dirty again. They forgot to follow through with my request. I had no coffee, no towels, no cups, and plenty of trash to have removed. The check out process was easy and friendly. Still unhappy about the ongoing issues with the dirty room.

There are many things I have to say about this hotel. There are pros and cons- but I would definitely come back. 5 stars because the pros vastly outweigh the cons for me. Pros: the service is exceptional. We have eaten here for breakfast and dinner and I have to give a shout out to the breakfast server, Jeffrey, and the nightly Bartender, Kelly. They are exceptional and make your day so much brighter! We had an issue with parking charging us $80/night (we were here for about two weeks, so that added up). The manager got that resolved and he was very professional about it. Next, the amenities are great! The pool is clean and beautiful. The workout room is also nice and clean! Cons: you have to pay for parking. It will cost customers $10/night IF you register. If you do not register, you will be fined $80/night.... That wasn't very clear when we checked in and I wish it was! Just don't forget to use the QR code in the garage.... But to be honest, it would be nice to void payment if you were a guest at the hotel. I have NEVER paid for parking as a hotel guest, so this was new to me. Notes: I found that they are very short-staffed, but it doesn't feel like that at all! They really do a great job of making the guests feel welcomed and cared for.

New hotel with too many issues! I was there for three days during a conference, by the first night I knew this wasn't going to be a "good" stay. Arrived at the hotel at 4:45pm, no rooms were available for check-in, had to wait for a "room to be cleaned". When I finally was assigned a room on the 4 floor and found the elevator, another long wait for the elevator. Only 2 elevators for the ENTIRE HOTEL with 6 floors and 285 rooms on floors 2 thru 6!!! Now building a "conference hotel" with 23 meeting rooms, 79,000 sq ft of total meeting space and everyone to go and from meetings, breakfast, dinner, and etc. AT THE SAME TIME was really dumb move. Food served for breakfast, lunch and dinner were well below average and bland. Didn't eat in the restaurant, but I doubt it was any better than the banquet food as it was coming from the same kitchen. Parking was $12.00 a day for suburban hotel (25+ miles from Dallas) was a bit bold for this mid-range hotel. The hotel is a Courtyard with conference center capability, but nothing fancier than your average Courtyard. After the first night housekeeping failed to replenish the coffee and cups and left a single bath towel in the bathroom. Several design flaws in the layout of the hotel common areas and guest rooms. Limited bathroom capacity for a "conference" property.

I usually stay at this hotel when I'm away on business and it's usually a nice experience but this time I encountered a rude staff member that will cause me to never stay at this establishment again. I booked three nights with this hotel a couple months before my stay, but remembered that I would need to stay longer so I made a separate reservation for an additional night. The hotel is not doing turnover service due to covid, but I had no issue with that. What I did have an issue with is having to argue with a staff member about water. I asked for a coupe bottles a of water that should have been complementary on my 4th night stay, but the staff member refused to give me any and told me I would need to pay 4 dollars per bottle which is ridiculous. This particular staff member never greeted me when I came up to the desk and seemed as though he was annoyed with my presence from the moment I arrived. The fact that I spent 20 minutes talking to him about water was completely unnecessary. If that's their idea of customer care during a pandemic I want no parts of it.

The rudest staff. Worst experience from a hotel. The bar waiter was the worst. The nicer we were the rider he was. No one wanted to help in any way Asked for towels or toilet paper they rolled their eyes and walked to the cart.

Due to work I visit Allen a lot - I stayed at various hotels but a couple of years ago this hotel was built very close to where I work so I thought I would try it. It's become my second home and I love staying here. As far as hotels go it's great - not the ritz but for its rating it's fine. I'm the rooms are great and I can work from there if I need some quiet time to concentrate. Gym and pool are great, the bar/restaurant is fantastic (bar one thing I will mention later) But the one thing that makes this place stand out is the people. The staff here are fantastic- always helpful and accommodating, friendly and professional. I'm on first name terms with a lot of them and they are always a pleasure to see. The only thing I would say is please do something about the music in the bar. I know it's Texas, but to play the same loop of modem country music - which never ever changes - is grating. I know some of the staff don't like it either and they have to work there. Not everyone cares for this style of music (I personally can't stand it) and the bar staff can't control it. Please consider playing perhaps a mix of music to cater for all tastes, and even if you must abide by the theme of the bar, consider changing the playlist - it's terrible having to listen to the same songs every day.

The hotel itself seems adequate. The 2 port electrical vehicle charger is frequently powered off, and one of the two EV parking spaces doubles as handicapped parking, creating a dilemma.

Great modern looking room with nice lighting. Great cable/Netflix options. Comfy bed and clean carpet/surfaces. Horrible parking though.

Horrible experience this morning for breakfast. Seated myself. After waiting 5 minutes with no service I helped myself to breakfast bar and juice. Asked for coffee three times before I got any. Need more staff as 1 server for the room doesn't cut it. First time staying here. Too many other better Marriott choices to do so again Also cold potatoes

Had a over night stay wife my wife. Absolutely love your hotel. Jodie at the front desk extremely nice lady and very helpful in our needs. The bar tender by pool very very nice lady. We can not wait for our next over night stay with y'all. Thank you!

Gorgeous room and great price (when we stayed, I know it fluctuates so much). I love the modern design inside and the hotel seems massive because of the large hallways and lobby. Only reason this isn't 5 stars because it was an uncomfortable sleep with the thermostat/AC constantly turning off. I wish it would just run constantly, the maintenance came to "fix" but it did absolutely nothing and continued to shut on/off every 10 minutes.

I liked this hotel. The female employee who checked me in was rude but the room was nice and this hotel is near shopping options. I would stay here again.

What can I say? They have a Keurig in the room and NO COFFEE!!! 2 kinds of tea. Hey, this is the USA bud, jeesh. I'm glad I had a kcup with me or I would have had to walk A MILE to the front desk. Literally. A mile. Oh yeah, NO MICROWAVE!!! And the tiniest fridge I've ever seen. Plus when I asked about an upgrade (I'm a gold member) he told me he couldn't do it so I showed him on my Bovoy app where it's one of my perks so he did it. At least he says he did, I'm not too sure. Maybe he did and a regular room didn't even have a tv? Idk. Anyways. Nice and clean. Fast WiFi. Everything's really new. I had to leave my key card in this slot by the door or you don't have electricity. (wut?) I guess they have a problem with non guests stealing electricity? Super thin walls, I could hear people talking in the room next to me so loud it was like they were right next to me. Overall? Stupid room. It sucked. End of story.

Really liked this hotel it is new, modern, well decorated and has a friendly staff especially Okarean and Dion. These men went way above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay and this hotel is lucky to have them both. Our room was nice and roomy with a good comfortable bed. Loved having a Keurig instead of a basic coffee maker. Loved the little shelves beside the vanity. Loved the little cabanas by the pool, the lights in the pool and the big screen TV. Thought the family of ducks was a nice touch even though they aren't supposed to be there. The downsides are they have the energy saving air conditioners that shut off without any movement and a refrigerator that only stays on for 2 hours at a time. Wish they had room service form Stampede 66 and Canyon Bar.

So I was searching Resortpass for a local pool to enjoy with friends and family since I don't have a pool in my backyard or in my community. I came upon this hotel which I didn't even know existed. So I decided why not. I purchased a cabana. Upon arriving to the hotel, I was greeted by the front desk to check in take my ID and provide us our wrist bands for over 21 drinks from the service at the pool. Unfortunately upon arriving to our cabana we found someone already was occupying it. We returned to the front desk to inform them in which they came out to inform that party they'd not reserved it & it was reserved by my party. They understood no biggie. We were given additional towels to lay down on the patio sectional. We then were greeted by the pool server who throughout our stay was very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed their limited menu of drinks and indulged in the pepperoni flat bread. Oh my so yummy. Highly recommend. We really enjoyed ourselves. I've already been back since and plan to enjoy the pool again all summer. I can't say enough great things about this place. Also the hotel is beautiful very posh and has that Texas feel with the art inside.

Tough stay. Thermostats are motion sensored so it cut off during the night while in bed. Very hot room. Housekeeping is by request and requires 24 hours notice. Sheets weren't clean. Room setup is nice though. This is the only thing going at this hotel.

Worst experience for hotel ever. Tried to book a room in person for the night, Front Office Director De'Angeloo Little said we had to book online, we called Marriott reservations who said we could book with hotel lobby, we returned inside still would not allow is to, we booked through Expedia, we returning inside to check in, extremely frustrated at this point wanting to deal with someone else, and Mr Little cancelled our reservation!

Beautiful new hotel. Many of the negative reviews here make valid points but as with any new hotel or restaurant, it takes a few months to hire and train the right staff and get all the issues sorted out that are bound to happen. Rooms are nice and the restaurant is very good. Maybe sites like Yelp could encourage people to give new places some time before reviewing.

The Canyon bar is an awesome place to relax and meet with friends ,enjoyed my visit there very much and the bartender I think her name was Kelly was amazing very friendly and accommodating to everyone in the bar one of the best I've ever seen ,I will definitely visit there again soon keep up the good work.

The charity organization I belong to just held a major conference at this hotel. Our out of town guests loved the accommodations, prices and location. I attended the conference and was so impressed with everything from the Valet Service to food service. Everything was on time, exactly as requested and the staff was very attentive. It is exciting to have this conference venue in our area. Brenda McGee

Here working an event in the hotel this weekend. Desperately needed allergy medicine and Brandon and the front desk team went above and beyond to get Claritin even though they did not have any in stock. Their banquet team has been incredibly aware, considerate, and displays top of the line customer service with ease. Having stayed at many hotels for work and personal travel, I must say this is one of the top 5 teams!!

I'm a big fan of Marriott. This hotel is very austere. The people are nice but the rooms are uninspiring. Nothing warm, cozy or inviting. Still giving four stars cause that's really my only complaint.

This place is bizarre....great restaurant but they mop the lobby entrance at 730pm on a Friday night while people are going and coming to Stephen Pyles.

Beware! This new hotel in Allen is awful! I have been there on several different occasions and here is what our experience was: first time, food good, drinks took longer than the food and we were told by Bill the bartender that he had six mimosas if front of us so it would be a while. Um, isn't a mimosa just oj and champagne? But the drinks were good once we received them. During dessert. So I thought, let's give this place another try and went in on a Saturday night with my husband. Again went to the bar, different bartender, great, right? Although this one was faster, she clearly left out part of the drink recipes. For example, there was no mint in the mint lemonade. When we tried to get her attention, she was busy texting on her phone or complaining loudly to a coworker about how slow it was. We decide to leave and eat somewhere else. Like morons, we went back a third time, this time to try to book the ballroom for a large family event. We had to chase down "Jessa", who books the events. When we finally were able to get a moment of her time, she treated us like we were not wanted. Looks like we are doing that event elsewhere as well. I'm not sure how the rooms are because we never had the chance to stay and find out.

Rude when I checked in and no one.even said "thank you" when I dropped off my room key" absolutely atrocious...called front desk...no answer....I would not recommend this hotel..even to someone I didn't like! They must hate their jobs! I should have gone to Frisco or Richardson...big mistake on my part...will be contacting Amex!

Gorgeous!!! I absolutely adore the aesthetic, perfect mix of modern Texan and posh. Probably the nicest hotel you'll find in this particular area. Very friendly staff, always ready to help. The rooms are very modern and beautiful. The Canyon Bar is the perfect place to chill and keep it low key. They have an impressive selection of local beers on tap. The food at Stampede 66 is fantastic! I highly recommend the bbq brisket tacos. The pool area is unreal! Massive TV, fire pit, cabanas, the works. Definitely worth it.

Not happy My husband and I stayed one night at the new Delta Hotel in Allen, TX. The property was clean and the layout of the hotel was perfect. However, our experience with the staff and management by far would definitely receive ZERO stars. After coming in for the evening, we realized the deadbolt lock on the door was not working. We immediately called the front desk and they sent an engineer to look at the door. He informed us that the lock was not working and it would need to be completely replaced. He left us with that information. At that moment we assumed we'd be contacted by the front desk but we weren't. We were NEVER asked did we want to move to another room or offered any other concession regarding the door that evening. It was baffling to me because I have traveled to many hotels and it is noted by management that when you are in your room, for your safety, to secure the locks. After about thirty minutes my husband contacted the front desk and informed him that we did not feel safe that we could not lock the door, still no concession to move to another room, the attendant simply stated it would be noted on our account. What would be noted, that the door was broken, we didn't feel secure and that nothing was done concerning it? The next morning we went to the front desk and spoke with another attendant, where I asked for a full refund due to the inconvenience, she merely mentioned, she would give me 1,000 points which amounts to nothing with Marriott or we could get 25% off the night. The entire interaction with her was insensitive and an ultimate turn off for me. I believe this was our first and last time at this property.

Service was unacceptable. Upon checking into room, discovered there were no wash cloths. Asked in person at front desk for some to be brought up to room while we were out. They never were and I had to hunt down a member of the night staff at 11:00 p.m. to get some. Later in the night we discovered that one of the queen beds had been made without a fitted bottom sheet. It is very creepy to have to sleep directly on a hotel mattress, given the various things that have probably happened on it. Next morning, at front desk asked that one be put on and left for the day. Came back that night and found nothing had been done. They didn't have a record of my request at the desk, and they didn't even bother to apologize. (Night crew was much better.) I did like the firmness of the mattress and the fluffiness of the pillows, which kept their shape without being hard. Hotel was filled with dressed-up characters from Dragon Ball Z convention, which was a kick. The mostly young crowd's partying was well within reasonable bounds and they were all courteous and polite for conventioneers whooping it up for the weekend.

I would like to update my previous review. The reason for my 2 star previously was I was really angry about the type of room service that was offered and how it is advertised. I do feel much better about the hotel after speaking with the manager and him listening to my concerns. The hotel is very nice, the pool is great and the location is in a great spot. I would recommend this hotel, however not the room service.

Home away from home! I travel weekly and am lucky enough to call this place home Monday thru Thursday every week. I've been staying at this hotel for 6 months now. There's a lot of great restaurants and shopping across the street; however, I stay in more than I go out. The food is yummy and the bar ambiance is relaxing and fun, but the best part is the staff. I'm personally greeted by name each morning and welcomed back each evening. They remember the drinks I like and continue to offer new ideas from the menu. Melissa, Allie and Christian are my favorites in the bar area. Andrew, Anna and Kahtya are especially accommodating at the front desk. Overall, a great place, contemporary design, and clean! Thanks to all for making my stay comfy!
