I had an early morning arrival after a long trip, and Patrick made everything so much easier. He helped me check in early without any hassle, gave me a quick tour of the hotel, and even recommended the on-site restaurant for later. He was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear he cares about making guests feel comfortable. Big thanks to Patrick for starting my stay off on such a positive note!

My recent stay at the Marriott Jacksonville exceeded my expectations and left me thoroughly impressed with the level of comfort, professionalism, and thoughtful amenities provided throughout my visit. From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff set a welcoming tone with their prompt, courteous service and genuine willingness to accommodate special requests, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process. The guest room was immaculately clean and tastefully appointed, offering a blend of modern decor and practical comforts that made it easy to relax after a long day of travel. The bed and linens were of notably high quality, providing a restful night’s sleep, while the in-room amenities—including a well-stocked coffee station, ample charging outlets, and a spacious workstation—catered perfectly to both leisure and business needs. The property’s common areas, including the lobby, dining spaces, and fitness center, were equally well-maintained and reflected the Marriott brand’s commitment to a polished, inviting atmosphere. Breakfast service in the on-site restaurant was a particular highlight, featuring a diverse selection of fresh, flavorful options and attentive staff who ensured a pleasant start to the day. Throughout my stay, I found the hotel’s location convenient for accessing local attractions, restaurants, and major roadways, which made navigating Jacksonville stress-free. Parking was ample and secure, further adding to the sense of ease and comfort. In conclusion, the Marriott Jacksonville delivered an experience marked by clean, comfortable accommodations, exemplary service, and thoughtful amenities that cater well to both business and leisure travelers. I would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a reliable and pleasant hotel stay in the Jacksonville area and look forward to returning in the future.

I really appreciated the reception at the check in desk! I felt like a VIP! Patrick was very professional & kind; offered up a list of local restaurants, with his recommendations; oriented me to the lay of the the hotel & offered me water for my room; I love this kind of warm reception!

Location is perfect...15 minute drive, or less, to all parts of town. Town Center is maybe a 7 minute drive. Rooms were beautiful and super clean. Staff seemed genuinely nice. This hotel will be our new go to.

Google
I recently stayed at this Marriott Jacksonville and, unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. As a long-time member, I expected better recognition and service, but that was not the case. The hotel did not honor my original room reservation, and no effort was made to accommodate the mistake. At check-in, I wasn’t even offered a bottle of water, which is a small courtesy I’ve received at other locations. For the high price of the stay, I was surprised that breakfast was not included, especially when comparable hotels in the area offer better value with lower rates and complimentary breakfast. Overall, the service fell short of expectations. Based on my experience, I would recommend exploring other hotels in the area that provide more attentive service and better amenities for the price.

Google
I stay at this hotel twice a month for work over the last few years. ChangjLi, at the front desk, is excellent. Customer service 5/5 stars 🌟. The front desk is on top of their game and does what it takes for you to have a good stay at the Marriott. They always go above and beyond what is necessary.

Google
The hotel is nice and clean. The only thing I didn’t like was there is no laundry inside so you have to go to the wyndham hotel which is not the greatest looking and it’s $3.25 to wash and $3.00 to dry your clothes so I was not happy about that. Other than that the hotel is fantastic

Yelp
The staff and service at this location are top notch! Could not have asked for anything more. Easy parking. Low noise. The only off thing was the water pressure was a bit low.

Anita T.

Yelp
Acceptable- This is an old building which needs additional refreshing. We were okay there, but as Bonvoy Elite members, it's not the best Marriott we've been to. As is many hotels in the city, this was a valet only hotel. So if you've got a car, they don't have a free garage. The valet is about 30dollars a day, with in and out príveles ges. But they can be a little bit of a hassle--waiting for your car and squeezing it out of that tiny front area. Staff is very nice (inside and valet). Restaurant was pretty good in terms of dishes and selection, but overpriced. The room was nothing fancy. Bathrooms are small and older. The door to the bathroom was shabby and closed awkwardly. Although the sun rose on our side of the hotel, the dark tinted windows kept it very dark in the room overall. I prefer it a little brighter. The pool is on the fourth floor rooftop area, just note it's not at the top of the building. The decking was nice. The fitness room was very small are dark. But the hotel was in a good location downtown within walking distance to the Riverwalk. If I return to Jax, I may come back if I can't find anything newer of nicer in the Bonvoy family.

Yelp
Waited over an hour to check in and than the extremely rude staff informed us they cancelled our reservation without notice. The hotel is a dump from the outside and super run down on the inside. The positive is we didn't have to stay at this crap hole. Good luck if you book a room here.

Yelp
The only full service Marriott in Jax outside of Sawgrass! Based off of location, I've never really ventured to this area outside of the Dave and Buster's down the way. I've dropped colleagues off here but I always thought it was old and needed an update. Well, I was wrong! Inside was super modern and all updated. The property is very clean and centrally located off of JTB and Belfort. About 10 minutes from downtown, 5 minutes to town center and 20 minutes to the beach. The hotel bar was quiet and filled with people whom were all assumingly here on business. The selection of bourbon was nice and the pours were generous and reasonably priced. We split a burger and fries and it was just enough. The service was great. I'm dairy free so the bartender offered to have the kitchen fold the cheese in half so my husband could still enjoy a cheeseburger! They even plated our portions separately. Lowkey hidden gem Marriott that is centrally located. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
I have to say, this might be the best hotel that I've stayed at in Jacksonville! The location is fantastic since it is located right off of I-95 and is minutes away from some of the most popular shopping places that Jacksonville has to offer. The hotel staff are super friendly and courteous when I went. The rooms are the best part. Everything was well appointed. The furniture, from the tables to the bed, were comfortable and of high quality. I just love the material quality used in the hotel room. The bed had that firmness that you want for good back support and the bath towels were thick and plush. The walk-in shower was wide and spacious, with great water pressure to make sure you feel clean and relaxed. And I love the wall mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. All three had fantastic scents and made me feel so fresh and relaxed. Overall, I had a fantastic experience here. I would definitely come stay here again the next time I'm in town :)

Francine M.

Yelp
Nice beds, mattress was comfortable, sheets were a little rough. Great pool. Would have been better with breakfast included in the room. Great location.

Julia R.

Yelp
We stayed here again this December, and had a great stay! The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spotless. The employees were all very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are visiting Jacksonville!

Yelp
Physically the hotel is OK. The room was large and looked good. Management is horrible and that fact is reflected in the service. Some specifics. 1. When I booked this, 2 months in advance, I requested a roll in shower. We were given a room with a bath tub and NO grab bars. I inquired at the front desk and was moved to a room with a roll in shower. That almost made it worse because it indicated that one was available and they failed to accommodate me initially. 2. You must use your room key in the elevator to access upper floors in this hotel. We were not informed of this when we checked in. 3. We decided to stay in the first night and eat in the hotel restaurant. I booked a reservation online and received an email confirming the reservation. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were informed that they were not taking reservations that night and that we could eat in the bar area. (No good seating!). . The "manager" I spoke with pointed at an empty stand were the reservation compute would normally sit as "proof that they were not taking reservations". 4. My wife used all the creamers in the room with one cup of coffee the first morning. When the room made up late in the afternoon, that area was ignored and not replenished. I know that they plan to update the building, but they really need a new GM.

Caprice F.

Yelp
The most comfortable bed ever! I stayed here for one night heading into Fourth of July weekend 2021. I did not find the front desk attendant all that friendly when I checked in but she wasn't rude. My king room was spacious and clean, but the highlight was the bed! It was sooooo comfortable! My complaint about my experience was that there was no water bottles in the room or given to me, and I am a Titanium Elite member with Bonvoy so I've come to expect that. Also, because I was there on a weekend (Friday night), the lounge was closed for the weekend, which would otherwise be a place where I could go get free water. Even if I wasn't a high status Marriott customer, I expected there to be water in the room. Something so small, yet so impactful. Aside from that, the hotel is nice and clean. Word of advice to anyone staying here: park in the back of the hotel for convenient parking. Everyone parks in the front so finding close parking is nonexistent during peak times, yet I found OPEN parking near the entrance in the back of the hotel, and within a short walk you're at the front desk and at the elevators.

Minie M.

Yelp
The beds were totally passed their mattress life cycle. There was a big dip where everyone sits, on both beds next to the bed side table. There was a big well in the middle of the beds, kinda like a bird nest. Sleeping in a stretched out position was out of the question. The next morning we asked to be moved for the remainder of our stay and the front desk told us ALL the beds are like that. ALL the beds were like that! YIKES!!!! We decided to find another place to stay we recommend you do the same. The toilet ran every five minutes and the tub/shower wouldn't turn off. Other than the no sleep, it was great!

Bonnie K.

Yelp
So my husband and I stayed at this hotel several weeks ago. After paying 250.00 for a room and 32.00 for parking the pool was closed for maintenance as well as there were workers in the gym. Both not useful. The shower water was lukewarm at best. In the AM we went down for breakfast, there was no decaf coffee. I had some in our room on the 16th floor so went up to make it to have with my breakfast. When I came back down to join my husband flatware was already distributed to us( flatware for 1). There was no one around to give me a set so I shared with my husband. Quite dissatisfied with the hotel. Afterwards I received an email from the hotel asking for a rating. Which I did and the GM Carlos reached out with an apology about the pool only and said he was going to add 10000 bonvoy points to my account to make up for this..but guess what? After several emails back and forth..No extra points. We've gotten better service at a cheap roadside motel in the past.

Yelp
Best Hotel in Jacksonville. Friendly staff and clean facilities. Good location also. AAA .

Jon C.

Yelp
I stay here occasionally for work, and have been disappointed by the declining quality of service at the hotel. It seems that ownership or management may have changed recently, and that the new structure is much more cost focused than customer focused. Little things that make Marriott hotels special are simply not offered or have been removed. I will not stay here again if I can avoid it.

Laura M.

Yelp
This spot deserves more than the three stars it currently has. It's a nice Marriott with a great lobby and nearly every single person on staff is friendly and smiles and makes you feel welcomed. They have the mobile key app. The engineer/night staff person came up right away when something didn't work in my room. The shower water pressure is fantastic...the towels are thick and the beds are great! It's luxurious and the prices are reasonable.

Milton G.

Yelp
Hotel staff were very nice and pleasant. Our room was clean and fully stocked. Fitness and pool area was a very relaxing area. Breakfast was full of options considering all dietary needs. Very convenient to shopping, dining, and the Jags stadium.

Richard R.

Yelp
This Marriott was just average at best. Everything just felt a bit worn down. I noticed a lamp in our room was just hanging by it's wires. I don't know how nobody had not noticed this before. I myself had to do a repair on the toilet just to make it flush properly. The room was clean and everything seemed in order. It just wasn't up to the Marriott quality I would expect. I'm not sure if I would stay here again. It did seem to be centralized around everywhere I needed to get to though. So that actually was a huge plus.

Tekia H.

Yelp
I visited this particular Marriott to attend an event. The parking lot was easy to navigate and required no parking pass. The lobby looked very clean and updated. I didn't get a chance to check out the rooms of the hotel, but the conference room the where the event was was nice and spacious. The location of this Marriott is very quiet which is nice if you want to get away from the busier areas of the city. I also saw that there is a nice fitness room and outdoor pool for guests.

Eileen S.

Yelp
This hotel has a great location along the Riverwalk. Beds were comfortable but the bench and decorative pillows on bed were soiled. Bathroom terribly laid out with only 2 towels and washcloths. No hooks to hang clothes in bathroom and no place to set anything down. The shower had no place to set anything other than the floor. There was Plenty of unused space and the toilet paper holder was poorly placed on a huge wall. The shower was poorly put together and craftsmanship on repairs was terrible.

Joseph G.

Yelp
Not sure why this hotel has 3 stars. The room was great. Clean. Quiet. We had snacks and drinks one night and that was all very good. Breakfast each day was, well, breakfast (made to order) and all was good. The only issue is the bathroom needs more light. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Laura G.

Yelp
The Jacksonville Marriott is conveniently located just off of I-95. They offer free onsite parking and free WI Fi access in the lobby and public areas. The hotel is newly renovated and was fully booked when we checked in. My interaction with the front desk was pleasant. The staff was very professional and my check in was quick. Our room was nicely done with the standard Marriott upgrades. They offer high speed internet, deluxe bedding and premium bath products. Their room service menu covers everything that you would want to eat. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night bites and so much more. Room services closes at 11pm every night. For those of you collecting Marriott points this hotel offers 500 bonus points for passing up on housekeeping service over three consecutive days. This offer applies to stays of two nights or more and does not apply to day of checkout.

Debbie F.

Yelp
Beautifully renovated Marriott property. Rooms have luxe bedding. Location is a bit out of town . A 15 min drive into San Marco or downtown. Nothing in the immediate area for dining. Concierge floor is not available on weekends. Hotel is well staffed. Very accommodating.

Rick M.

Yelp
Beginning: My four three things I look for when staying at a hotel are location, dining area, gym, and pool. At the Marriott Jacksonville, you're only minutes away from the St. John's Town Center. If you don't know about the St. John's Town Center, think of a beautiful outdoor mall. Some of the favorite go-to shops such as Bath and Body Works, Louis Vuitton, Oakley, or even Dick's Sporting Goods are located at the Town Center. Also, if you're in the mood for good dining places such as P.F Changs, Bahama Breeze, Fogo De Chao, Cooper's Hawk, or Alexander's are also located in or around the Town Center. Before I go on any adventure, I enjoy getting a good workout in at the gym. The Marriott Jacksonville provides up-to-date workout equipment for cardio or weight training. Also, you're able to see the pool from the gym and for me it makes the experience much more memorable. Guests have the option to enjoy the big dining area near the main atrium. Room: Whether you enjoy a king size bed for one or two queen size bed for a family, significant other, or you're like me and enjoy more space, The Marriott Jacksonville has you covered. I very much enjoy the softness of the pillows and comfortable beds. If you decide to book a concierge room on the 9th floor, you will have the opportunity to spend time in the concierge lounge (currently open Monday thru Friday and Sunday). All you have to do is sit back relax and let the good times roll. Adiza did a fantastic job checking me in and following up with me during my stay. Not many hotels go above and beyond to make sure the guests have a magical experience. As a Marriott Bonvoy member you get special perks such as early check-in, room upgrades, special events, choice between extra points or breakfast, and club lounge access at specific location. If you haven't registered with Marriott Bonvoy you're are missing out on the adventure of a lifetime. Ending: Overall, I had a blast at The Marriott Jacksonville. If you're visiting Jacksonville for the first time or your a local, check this hotel out for yourself. You will not be disappointed. I hope you create more memories with your adventure because storytelling leaves you speechless. Just an FYI: St. Augustine is only 25 minutes away from Jacksonville Happy Yelping, Ricky

Yelp
I came to this hotel during a lot of construction so I want to try and avoid that because it doesn't really reflect the hotel. They want to do updates which is great! The breakfast is paid for which is always lame let's all be real but it is what it is. They have coffee and tea in the lobby but just in the mornings. They had cookies around 4/5 one of the days I was there. The staff, AMAZING! I believe his name was Armando, wow love him! Would serious take him home with me. He helped me pretty much daily with a laugh, concern, or just a chat. The rooms were super nice, but not cleaned well. At all. The bathrooms were Pinterest worthy.. the stand up tile shower wow.. just so pretty. Some of the downsides, no free breakfast, no business center to print, pool isn't heated or lit well. Overall I would stay here again.

Duane D.

Yelp
I have stayed here a few times now, so I am updating my review. This is an older hotel in need of some renovation. That being said, it is clean, and very well kept. There are no problems, but it lacks some of the modern features--big TVs, USB outlets, walk-in shower, etc. However, the staff at this hotel is wonderful across the board. I had to deal with a lot of people in the course of a few days hosting a conference here. Every one of them was great--the front desk staff, the servers in the restaurant, the housekeepers, and the management. Everyone was friendly and wanted to go out of the way to help you. Seriously, every one of them. For that -- I can give 5 stars.

Mark T.

Yelp
Stayed on a couple occasions and really enjoy it. It's easy access from freeways, and only a few minutes from downtown. Plenty of free parking in marriott'a lot outside, and always spaces available. The hotel feels clean, airy and fresh, and has an updated feel. The rooms are nice, though the bedding isn't as nice as some of the full service Marriott's. They have an awesome restaurant downstairs which has a fantastic breakfast buffet if that's your thing, and their concierge lounge has a terrific variety of food in the morning and evening. The staff are friendly and polite, and is an overall a great experience. The prices for this location and extremely reasonable considering it's a full service location. I will be staying here again.

Julie C.

Yelp
Nicely renovated and clean but Kristine was very rude, check in was unpleasant, and I was overcharged. It seems like the customer service can be subpar when the location makes this Marriott and easy in and out.

Miranda L.

Yelp
I stayed here for a couple of nights for a business trip, and all I can say is that this hotel is in desperate need of a renovation. Cons: - Small hotel - Dusty room - Old, outdated furniture - Broken iron Pros: - Free parking (and plenty of spots) - Easy Uber pickup/drop off - Free daily treats at the receptionist (cookies, fruits, etc) Compared to other Marriotts I've stayed at, this is one of the oldest and smallest. Expect a different experience here. Unfortunately, I know I will be back again since my business partner likes to book this hotel for us... sad face.

Stephen D.

Yelp
This is a Marriott that claims tier 4 prices for tier 2 status. Coffee: coffee is only served from 0600 on. This day and age coffee is provided in the lobby of all modern hotels all the time. Not here. Breakfast: the normal free breakfast is pay to eat. It is barely edible. Concierge: only open for breakfast and late night. First one I have seen that is not usable when there is no attendant. What is the point then? Rooms: upgrading the bathroom does not constitute a renovated room. The furniture is old and looks like the same first installed. The televisions on floors 1-7 are pre HDMI before flat screens. Refrigerator: there are none in your room. You have to ask to have a tiny frige brought to your room. Do yourself a favor, find another hotel.

Kurt K.

Yelp
I like Marriott. Actually I love Marriott. This is your classic Marriott with a bar, restraint but also a concierge level with lounge. Something about having a place where you can go get your needs taken care of and have some peace and quiet. The staff was phenomenal. Brittany was above and beyond flexing as our schedule changed. Room was clean and well maintained. The lobby was modern and inviting. My go to hotel for my next visit.

Steve E.

Yelp
The Jacksonville Marriott is a very traditional Marriott property located south of downtown, and just off of I-95 and J. Turner Butler Boulevard. After exiting I-95 you wind around through a little office park, and eventually turn right onto Salisbury Road. The 9-story hotel abuts the highway, but you're back far enough that the road noise is not an issue. When I was there the hotel was undergoing some renovations, but thankfully they had already completed my floor so I wasn't interrupted by the noise. Since this was a Marriott property I was upgraded to the Regency Club floor, and able to take advantage of the free breakfast buffet, cocktail hour with heavy hors d' oeuvres, and business center amenities throughout the day. My room overlooked the pool and lanai area, and was outfitted with the traditional Marriott amenities - a very comfortable bed, flat-screen TV, nice work area, complimentary high-end toiletries, and a spacious and clean room. I was there for business, and it was nice to be able to connect to the free WiFi and get some work done in the evenings. There is a restaurant and cocktail lounge at the hotel, but not much else is located in walking distance. You'll either need to depend upon the hotel shuttle, or have your own car if you plan to visit downtown Jacksonville or St. John's Town Center. Getting on and off the highway is very easy from this hotel. There was a large conference going on during my stay, but I never heard any noise unless I was down on the ground floor near the conference rooms. The front desk staff was very friendly, and they made sure to say Hi to each person as they would enter the hotel's lobby. As with all Marriott's they offer a flavored ice water dispenser right in the lobby, and encourage you to pour yourself a glass or to fill up your travel mug when you walk by. A nice feature, and very befitting of a higher end hotel.

Barbara W.

Yelp
Stay away! I began the booking process directly through the hotel for a two night stay for April 20-22 directly through the hotel. I identified myself as a Bonvoy member and moved forward with the telephonic booking. I spoke with an individual Shernette, who took my information, provided a confirmation number and assured me an email confirmation would follow. Before I hung up, I indicated I had still not received an email. She told me not to worry asi I had been given the confirmation number. The following day, after still having not received the confirmation I called back. I waited on hold for 42 minutes and was hastily greeted by a male who became agitated as I explained the preceding situation. I gave him the confirmation number I had been given and he angrily stated there was no such number. He begrudgingly took my information again and told me I would receive an email confirmation and before I could respond, he hung up. Several days later, on April 6, I called back as I had still not received a confirmation. After holding 38 minutes someone picked up and said they did not see my reservation and hung up. I called back after waiting another 22 minutes and a very helpful associate confirmed there was no reservation, but was very helpful. She again took my information and I asked that she not get off the phone until I had my email confirmation. She was extraordinarily gracious and remained on the phone until I confirmed receipt. I was so happy, as I thought the matter had been resolved. That was until today when out of nowhere I receive two.updates with two separate reservations. One that I had made and a duplicate in my maiden name under which my Bonvoy rewards card is listed. I called the hotel once again, waiting 39minutes and when the associate answered, I asked to speak with a manager. I explained the situation, and she told me I didn't need a manager. I explained I needed to be sure this was taken care of properly. She told me to hold on and placed me right back in the holding queue. This is beyond poor customer service.

Adrinna H.

Yelp
One of the most basic Marriott I've ever stayed in. That being said, the service meets the expectation of a Marriott. The reception was friendly and the concierge staff are attentive. There is an indoor pool as well as out door pool. The gym was a little lacking but it meets basic cardio workout. The rooms are clean. Plenty of parking and it is free. WiFi is free too. Who doesn't love free?

Patrick M.

Yelp
This hotel is about as meh as it gets. Hasn't been renovated in years and is extremely dusty. The bath/shower looks about how you would expect from a mid-90's setup. Good water pressure fortunately though. The water tastes and smells like sand, but that may be a Florida/Jacksonville issue that is out of Marriott's control. The lobby and rooms have a musky smell to them, but I got used to that fairly quickly. The biggest problem for me with this location was the absolutely HORRENDOUS internet. I averaged between .5 megabits per second up to a max of 1.5 mbps download. I had to download a few GB's of stuff for work and I had to leave my laptop open the entire night. 5 GB's took over 12 hours to download at their speeds. I don't understand how an establishment of that size can have a max internet speed of 3 mbps in 2017. I was scheduled to stay at this Marriott from October 2017 through May 2018 with weekly stays of Monday to Thursday. However, I have since cancelled these reservations and moved to the Sheraton Jacksonville down the street, as I simply cannot work with internet this slow. Cheers.

Paige H.

Yelp
So while we stayed here it was under renovation. They had times where the construction was supposed to stop and the noise was supposed to stop, but they definitely went past those times. The rooms we stayed in were newly renovated and very nice. The beds were SUPER comfy from the mattress to the newer bedding. The views from the 8th floor were decent as well. The only issue I had was the fact that people left their trash and empty room service containers outside the doors and on more than one occasion it smelled like vomit while walking down the halls. The staff was very pleasant and so nice. I actually was kind of upset because one morning one of the housekeepers got into the elevator with us and kept apologizing that she was there with us because the service elevator wasn't working. I kept telling her that it was fine and there was no reason to apologize and she said it was because a lot of people complain when the housekeepers associate with them. I couldn't believe it. But after noticing the type of people that stayed there it made sense. A bunch of entitled, "holier than thou," business types that could care less about people like that. I told her that we were both human and that those people can shove it, because that is ridiculous and you all should be ashamed of yourself. I would absolutely stay here again if I knew I didn't have to encounter the snooty people that think they are better than everyone. It was an overall great experience.

Dayvee M.

Yelp
They are a very clean and upscale hotel. Nice bar and restaurant downstairs but the staff comes off as very snooty, and slightly rude. Also they charged my card twice for one item.

Undercova A.

Yelp
Hmm. Frosty greeting from desk staff. Crappy room with view of mechanicals. Lumpy mattress pad. Barely cooling air-conditioning. Fairly clean and nicely decorated however. Fitness area is good for a hotel. The concierge lounge is only open Monday through Friday, WTF?? On the bright side, we met Rita in the dining room and Lou in the lounge, each of them were the best parts of our stay. Certainly not the frizzy hair woman at the front desk or any of them, for that fact. All poorly trained. None of them knew about Jacksonville, like where to go and what to do. Seriously? Overall, not the Marriott experience I anticipated or what I am used to.

Michelle S.

Yelp
Lovely place for a celebration venue, whether it is for a wedding or first communion.

Nice enough hotel but not the quality I appreciate about being a loyal Marriott customer for years. I have received complimentary breakfast and access to the concierge lounge for over 12 years now but due to their new Bonvoy system I no longer qualify. Will rethink going back to Hilton again. Plus side, this property was centrally locates to everything which was convenient.

Yelp
This place isn't good. Like the other reviews it's very tired. Rooms smell musty, like mold or mildew. I switched rooms and the other one on a different floor smells the same way. Every day I get back from work and walk in I'm hit with a horrible stench. I woke up this am and found the likely source. My window had a ton of condensation on it. You could swipe your finger across the glass and puddles of water would fall down onto the sill and carpet. Other colleagues had stains on sheets. Someone had written "stains" and arrow pointing to them on the sheets. And they were still put on the bed. There are about 40 of us staying at the hotel and we've all be exchanging stories about how bad this place is. I'm just grossed out.

Yelp
I am currently staying at this property. It's adequate but not much more. On the plus side, it is in a good central location with plenty of free parking. The room shower is nice and the bed is comfortable. It appears that they have recently done somewhat of a renovation to the bathrooms in the rooms but nothing else. The hotel rooms, based on mine, are in desperate need of a total renovation. The red and gold era is over! I stay at Marriott properties an average of 150 nights a year and this one is definitely below average overall.

Yelp
Great service, however no vending machines or soft drink options. Too much construction and no options for basic amenities. Very disappointed.

Yelp
This by far is one of the worst Marriott hotels that I've ever stayed in. Maybe the lobby is nice but so is every hotel but once you go up the elevator welcome to the highway to hell. Every room is cloaked and slathered in a new coat of paint to hide all the tattered remains of what's left behind in this sad excuse for a Marriott. Towels smell of old rags which I have no idea what the steps to cleaning things are, the management is no help at this location because when you ask to see a manager they say none are available and direct you to a supervisor . We try to stay in the building and get the breakfast buffet ( meaning food should be available to atleast serve ) I can understand if you're running out of one or two items but literally it look like I was at a garage sale full of Tupperware and fine china because everything was empty , I had to stop and ask the hostess if I was at a auction on top of that because there was plates stacked everywhere and after a close observation all of the plates were dirty there was stacks of 10 to 8 plates on almost every table and yes the pictures attached are examples of what was left behind just imagine more tables in the picture. It took 10 minutes for juice and it took them over 20+ minutes to even bring food out all there was at the bar was gravy and oatmeal, they didn't even have ketchup. Everyone was complaining I will not be returning to this location and I have I'll ensure no one does either this is a sad excuse for an establishment connected to the Marriott name and they need to do something before this location tarnishes what they have left of that name.

Yelp
This place is an absolute joke and extremely unprofessional. We have had our hotel reservations for over a month and now we get an email saying that we can't check in until 7 PM because they have booking issues. How is that my problem? I'm coming in from out of town and I've had this planned for over a month. Complete bullshit.

Yelp
So I've been stuck here again because of my company... and, wow, a new challenge arrived! That's right, when I turned the TV towards the desk, the entire back fell of, and several of the components broke, rendering the TV completely useless. When I called the front desk, "Mike C." replied that the only thing he could do was to switch rooms. Since I was only here for one night, and I just wanted to watch some old show while I went to bed, I declined. When I asked if he could send someone up to fix it, or if he had heard of this issue before, he deferred on both questions, and again said that he didn't have the people handy to fix this, so he could move me to a new room. PROTIP: When elite members complain that the entire back of a TV falls off, maybe you should put aside your Sudoku and actually listen to the issue. I'll add photos as soon as I figure out how.

Yelp
Super nice!!! Clean rooms!!! Nice beds super comfy. Front desk super nice. I'm here for work and was super tired and they got me all set to go in my room. If I come back to Jacksonville I will stay here for sure!

Yelp
I was really surprised that the suite was dated and Sup-par. Located in what look like "The Woods". The Staff was friendly. The food was good. Great house made granola. Almost no good tv channels. You'd have to sign up for Hulu or Netflix. I missed my shows. Older hotel. But I did love the Decor and furniture in the living room area of the suite.

Yelp
Very disappointed in this full service Marriott. The property is showing a lot of wear. Rooms have a dingy out of date feel to them. Food was just so so. Thankfully the bar service was great. Capping off a one night stay was no hot water in the morning. No manager on duty and an unapologetic desk attendant.

Yelp
A really awesome Marriott! Its not that this place is fancy, but the staff is really exceptional. Just very nice people. I stay at Marriott hotels over 100 stays a year and this is a favorite of mine. Wanted to give a shout out to a staff member named Amy (bartender). She is a really nice person who really went out of her way to make sure my stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend this establishment.

Yelp
I know this property inside and out. Have been staying here for over 15 years. Not only is this one of the most well maintained properties Marriott has, the staff is amazing. In particular, the sweetest human being Ive ever met, Gretchen. Not only is her customer service outstanding, shes been with this property for just about 15 years (maybe more!) They are lucky to have such an amazing employee!
