Worst scone I've had. Zero flavor. Literally!. Flour and? Where are the Marion berries? Any berries?
What a shame.
Far too many bakeries to choose from to waste your money here. 🙄🫤😞

This was one of my favorite bakeries that is no longer in NW Portland, and I had no idea that they have an outlet store! Where the heck have I been?
It was great to be able to purchase their quality baked goods at a huge discount! I'll be back!
They open at 730 am. The earlier you arrive, the products that are available!

Picked up some Marsee Baking Empanadas at New Seasons, 2 kinds. Guava and Marionberry. I love Guava and I'm so glad they have these but the lack of filling was a little disappointing. Adding just two or three more tablespoons of filling would be awesome. I'd pay $3.95 instead of $3.40. I guess I could bring them home and add my own jam! Your crust and the crunchy sugars are great!

Wow! Just wow!! I mean, did I say WOW? I went there specially for pumpkin pie. What i got was not just a pumpkin pie, it was a taste of absolute joy. Joy I say! Smooth, creamy, firm, but not too firm, a rich, utterly delicious crust that was more like layers than an actual crust. Moist through and through! When I get back down to Portland metro area again, it'll be my first place to go! You should make it YOUR first place to go to, too!! Simply wonderful!!!

I’ve had maybe one other product and I don’t recall it, so this review is specific to the product I tried. I got a cinnamon roll, but unfortunately it was really just a bread roll with a whiff of cinnamon. A real bummer because it just went in the trash as I don’t care to consume carbohydrates that don’t have value in the flavor at least.

I didn’t think to take a picture of the cookie. I was served this cookie at the hospital, during an unexpected stay with my daughter. I was amazed at how delicious it was! I was trying to find out if I could order them online, but I’m not finding that option. I live to far away to get them, but absolutely love the taste!

I buy your chocolate chip cookies at my local market. They are my favorite of all time! Thank you!

Yelp
I'm was calling around town and looking online for a cheesecake for my husband's birthday. The prices were all over the place. I saw Portland style cheesecake and desserts come up on yelp. I was a little nervous the reviews were not great and older. I called and placed an order to pick up and I am so glad I did. It was very easy to place the order over the phone and pick up was a breeze. Pleasantly surprised at the prices and options available at the outlet store. I picked up a box of 6 giant chocolate chip cookies as well, they're only $8 a box.

Yelp
This was a perfect spot to get a cake for my friend's birthday. It was very easy to order via their email on the website, and pay online and I even showed a picture of a clown theme decoration and they recreated it exactly. My friend loves banana flavor and the cake was kind of like a banana bread, super yummy and everyone loved it! I would love to order here again!

Yelp
I've known about Marcee baking for decades, but I hadn't been in one in a long time.
Turns out there's one only about a mile and a half from my house and I happen to be looking for Ginger molasses cookies and they had them in a box for seven dollars . Took them over to a dear old friend of mine who made pour over coffee and they were amazing and chewy and extremely kind on the phone to offer to hold a box for me., I haven't seen a value in a bakery like this for years.

Yelp
Tried their Blueberry Scone and it's alright. Too cakey for my liking...The size is veery attractive but that also made it a little too sweet towards the end.
All in all, not bad but wouldn't hurry to try more.

Yelp
Amazing bakery - have purchased items at Zupans and Fred Meyer. Highly recommend pastries and challah. Need to make a trip to outlet store for some great prices....kinda pricey at zupans

Yelp
We have been thrilled to reacquaint ourselves with Marsee Baking. We used to buy their products through a local grocer and have missed their items greatly. The quality and array of the breads, bagels and pastries has provided us with wonderful fresh baked goods from a local business that we feel good about supporting. Lately we have tried quite the selection.
wholewheat bread
bagels: plain, sesame and jalapeno and cheese
muffins: chocolate, marionberry
pastries: cream cheese cinnamon roll, blueberry cream cheese danish, pecan sticky bun. Merendine bun, Marionberry Fazzoletti, cinnamon roll-iced
donuts: buttermilk, bismark, old fashioned glazed
We are looking forward to trying more of their selection as it makes life so much more interesting during our pandemic experience.
Support this local business if you have the chance!

Yelp
This place supplied the pastries for an employee celebration at Providence Office Park, and I honestly don't think I've ever had any better.
The croissants were very fresh, tender and flaky -- even later in the day, when I managed to get a leftover almond croissant. I also enjoyed the apple turnover, and wish I could have managed to try a few more of the assorted pastries.
I'm already looking forward to finding a reason to order some myself. And I noticed on their website that it's possible to place an order at your local Zupans. Brunch, anyone?

Yelp
I've not been to their retail location but the plain bagels I get at Fred Meyer are the best I've had since I lived in NY. I was ready to give up on West Coast bagels...my faith is restored!

Yelp
You need to know about Marsee's black and white cookies. I can't keep such a tasty treat secret for any longer. I discovered them at Providence Portland hospital while waiting for a prescription at the pharmacy next door to Prov's grab and go cafe. Now my reward for orthopedist appointments is one of these cookies from the cafe. Do I eat it immediately? No - because there's nothing like stashing it in the pantry and remembering it's there when a dessert craving hits.
The cookies have the same sort of light, borderline cake texture as a madeleine, but I'm not Proust and this is Yelp so I'm not going to wax poetic for seven volumes of prose. I like that they're not overly sweet and the coating, for lack of a better word, (it's not frosting and it's not icing) provides a nice, firm bite in contrast to the soft cookie itself. Where else can you buy them? No idea. Should you pick a Providence doctor just so you can score one? Well, I'm not saying you shouldn't.
I buy a four pack of Marsee's everything bagels three or so times per year at QFC. They're perfectly serviceable and freeze well but won't win any bagel bake off. Nice to have on hand for carb emergencies though.
Look to the cookie, people! https://youtu.be/IlLPAIrmqvE
