Google
Wine bar, small bites, and wine shop not to be missed. The owner is the only one working here and he has a truly interesting selection of wines. Pull up to the bar, and don't miss the chance to have a glass of something you have never tried. The location in Melrose market is super comfortable even in the small space, and there is a nice mix of locals hanging out.

Google
Well curated wine shop nestled in the so-Seattle Melrose Market shops. Pop in for a sip at the counter and grab a few bottles to pair with meats from Rain Shadow or shellfish from Taylor.

Went to this little gem after being taken by the Pike Place Market food vendors. Shame on us. So we had a bottle of wine at the bar, with an extremely personable bar tender. Reviewed the menu...we will go back.

In a world that is so noisy, distracting and full of unnecessary complications, it's refreshing to find a place that focuses on pure and simple things with no pretense. A small fresh food menu with great local ingredients and a fantastic curated selection of real wines. Let quality ingredients speak for themselves. The world is this simple, but we forget. Friendly and knowledgeable proprieter. Will make it a point to visit here next time I'm in Seattle.

Loved this place mostly for the ambiance! The most ideal spot for a date or cozy gathering with friends. We ordered the 5 for $30 charcuterie board, and I highly recommend the spicy salami, prosciutto, black truffle salami, manchego cheese, and truffle cheese. The portions were dainty but at least you get to ask for free refills on the bread? The prosecco and Golden Ale beer were great. Parking can be difficult to find in this area, but we were lucky to find a spot on a side street close by.

Google
Best wine bar with to-go bottles that I’ve visited in the states. I couldn’t tell you the book definition of a cab or understand the implications of the Rhône valley terroir on its grapes, but I don’t need to at Marseille. The owner patiently and very knowledgeably suggests a bottle based on my past taste preferences (and is v generous w/ samples) from his thoughtfully curated collection of $20-$50 wines. I’ve never paid more than $50 for a killer bottle here, and a lot of the funky / interesting wines that he finds are in the $20-$30 range. My wino squad fully approves. I’ve also eavesdropped on him waxing poetic on more technical details for you wine supertasters out there, so rest assured that your superior taste buds will find purchase on the exquisite notes of Marseille’s finest.

Yelp
Bonjour!! Haha this was my first time here while I was visiting Seattle. I came here with my sister for a small bite and just hangout. There's definitely more to order, but we decided on Oysters because the ocean was right there sooooo fresh, fresh seafood. We asked the waiter for suggestions on some different types for us to try. Our server was very helpful! We even got to try an endangered oyster (it's not anymore, but was at one point). I would highly suggest coming here for some oysters if you're a fan. Pair it with a nice glass of wine and you are set. The price tag is a little high, but it's worth it for a little unique atmosphere and tasty fresh seafood. The customer service here was awesome. Not only did they help us decide on options, but when our wine spilled they were immensely helpful cleanin up and even gave us stuff to get the wine out of our clothes. If you're in the Seattle area and lookin for a different and unique place to go where the service is awesome..I can't say it enough. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!

Yelp
They just reopened 2 days ago and we stopped by for a very French lunch. Delicious wine and delicious cheese and baguettes. It felt like we were back in France.

Yelp
Arrived at 5 on the dot. Only one other person here. Service was nice. The wine is good. Nice upbeat music choice - Nate dog (just another day), and Erick Sermon (Music). The ambiance feels like a small wine bar and in the open Melrose Market. It's located next to a Homegrown and across form Seattle's favorite Rain Shadow meats. This is going to be short. I'm just here killing time before I meet my husband. The folks here attended to me right away and are friendly. I'm having a glass of wine - it's the grenache and cinsault blend. To me, the bouquet is of tabacco, jam, spice, and cobbler. Yum. Price is $12 - nice and reasonable. This is a fancy location on Capital Hill and $12 really is in line with what you can expect for a nice glass of wine. I will come back - probably with my husband so he can enjoy a glass with me.

Yelp
If the guy who worked Sunday eve, march 27 wonders why he got a crappy tip from me it's because he literally gave me half the pour he have the couple sitting next to me that he was chatting. Wine was good. I would have stayed and bought a bottle. Alas, I did not

Yelp
CLOSED. At least for now, and it appears it has been for a while. A fairly ominous letter was posted about the lease. It's really unfortunate, I've bought several interesting wines from here. Hope they work it out.

Yelp
Very knowledgeable staff! Incredible and well curated selection of natural wines with a small and purposeful menu. Great spot to grab a bite and chat over a few glasses and pick up something to go as well!

Yelp
If you are looking for an exquisite glass of wine with stellar service, this is your place. Tucked into the ever so cute Melrose Market, it's quaint, cozy, and warm.

Yelp
We stumbled into @marseilleseattle inside of @melrosemarketseattle after our walk at the Washington Park Arboretum. First natural wine place we've been too and it did not disappoint. We tried the orange wine, rosè and white. All delicious! Great service!

Yelp
Stopped in after work for a drink and loved the ambiance. Such a nice and cozy space, but the bartender was so unfriendly and cold with us. Our group of three were the only guests and I would have loved a tip or recommendation on the wine list. We ordered the cheese board which was delicious but very sparse. This is such a beautifully designed space, but until they close, Sika and Spruce is a much better choice.

Yelp
where do i begin.. fabulous ambiance, well curated menu, and quality service. I like melrose market, but LOVE marseille. perfect during the day for a coffee meet up or a drink before dinner at Sitka & Spruce. The owner is lovely.

Yelp
Love the vibes here! Such a cute spot. Feels homey and comfortable. I sat at the bar top and had the spring salad which is oh so good and colorful.

Yelp
We dropped by for a glass of wine and we felt we were inconveniencing the bartender who was only interested in talking to his friends . The wine was uninteresting and overpriced. Go around the corner to Audacity. Better wine and ambience and friendly staff who actually made us feel they wanted us there.

Megan N.

Yelp
This place is so cute and quaint! The owner (I believe) was very helpful and even let us taste the wines before we decided on a glass. Small selection but nicely curated. Thy specialize in natural wines and this was a great place to try it for the first time. They have small bites that looked yummy too. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and would come back.

Yelp
Great little spot to pick up a bottle or five. Well curated selection. Not a bad place to grab a glass or a quick bite either.

Yelp
Wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Truly enjoyed learning all about natural wines from Eli and his gazpacho was to die for! Natalie was a true delight and very welcoming. We met Brandon, (the owner) at the end which wrapped our afternoon of good wine and fab conversation perfectly. A must go to end or begin a fabulous day of shopping and seeing the sights in Seattle.

Jason K.

Yelp
The wine list is fun for wine nerds as it is focused on all natural wines. However, the food is terrible. Not only is it under seasoned but they also have blended together very odd textures. For example, zucchini, mole and a fried egg all ate great on their own but the textures just don't work together. Probably the worst $100 I've spent on food ever. They have a lot of kinks to work out and I wish them luck.

Yelp
What a great spot! . I came here with a group of friends, and we had a couple of glasses of wine, plus some nuts and olives for noshing. The bartender made great suggestions too! This is the perfect spot to grab a glass of wine before you walk into your reservation at Sitka and Spruce.
