"Many Maharashtrians will concede the city isn’t the best place to get misal, the spicy, one-pot breakfast of moth beans served with bread and a ton of condiments. Martand does a solid version, guaranteed to make one break into sweats. Ignore the cheese and butter fry versions, and go for the classic special misal if it’s your first time. Note: If your spice tolerance is low, ordering buttermilk or solkadhi with the misal really helps battle the heat." - Sumedh Natu

Great place to have Misal in Mumbai. Their spicy is not as tikhat as Mamledar misal, so you can give it a shot if you have decent spice tolerance. Typical puneri patya adds to the fun during your wait time.

One of the most popular misal pav joints in Mumbai, attracting people with their mouth watering misal pav. The presentation of the misal is too good and is served with a lot of farsan, onion and lemon. Kat is served differently adjustable as per spicy we require. The best addon to this is Kothimbir wadi which is perfectly cooked , crispy from outside and soft inside tastes much better with their green chutney. Moreover people go ahead with the Thali option where additionally, Dahi and gulab jamun are served on the plate.

The food here is just amazing. But the service is not good. The waiting time is too long. Also we were 8 people. So on every table 4 people were sitting but they accommodated 6 of us on one table. Staff Sanjay was very rude from the beginning while we were waiting for our turn.

I recently had a Missal at Martand misal, which was simply amazing. The walls were adorned with cultural boards giving insights on the heritage of the Pune area.
