Disappointed with the service experience
I visited the Martha Forest Hill branch today with my family for dinner. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service we received. While the staff were checking in on other tables, no one came to our table for a long time. I had to ask a waiter just for water, and even then, he seemed annoyed and brought only one glass instead of four.
Later, when I asked the same waiter for takeout boxes for our leftovers, he kept asking how many I wanted without first letting me know what sizes were available. When I tried to clarify, he seemed irritated and unhelpful.
The food was actually very good, but the lack of basic courtesy and attention from the staff—especially from this one waiter—really affected our overall experience. I couldn’t help but wonder if we were being treated differently because we are Asian, which was upsetting.
I hope the management looks into this and trains the staff to treat all guests with equal respect and professionalism.
