The Best Ice Cream In America - The Infatuation

"Martha’s has been pumping out mountainous swirls of soft serve for nearly 80 years. Today, the ice cream shop sits right across the street from a Six Flags just outside of Lake George, and they have an encyclopedic menu of classic flavors like birthday cake, banana, and an orange creme twist that tastes exactly like a creamsicle in soft serve form. If you don’t feel like racing to finish a cone before it drips all over your hands, they also make a dense cremewich with two cakey chocolate discs—an improved version of the paper-wrapped sandwiches you’d buy from an ice cream truck." - anne cruz

My first visit to this place turned out to be memorable!! The soft serve here tastes amazing. The flavors are nice and subtle, not too strong . Just the way I like it!! The serving is big which I find as a good thing. People stand in big lines to order the ice cream which tells about this place and their quality. Aside from ice cream they have burgers, fries and other stuffs which I haven’t tried. There is a big picnic table right beside shop where you can sit down and enjoy the food. I would definitely visit this place on my next visit to Lake George!!

You know it’s a good spot when you visit twice in one day! Martha’s was an amazing find. We stopped by for lunch and had the cheeseburger, fries, and chicken sandwich—everything was super tasty. The cheese fries came in a generous portion, so come hungry! Both the burger and sandwich hit the spot perfectly. Later that evening, we came back for ice cream—and that was truly the highlight. The staff was incredibly friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the soft serve absolutely lives up to the hype. Even on a rainy Saturday in April, there was a line, which says a lot. Highly recommend anything on the menu, and don’t be shy to ask the staff for their personal favorites. We’ll definitely be back!

I have always been extremely impressed with both the quality and especially the portion sizes at Martha's, as we try to come here a handful of times during the summer. In the past I've always gotten a medium ice cream in a dish, And the serving size has been impressive to say the least. I got one of their sundaes for the first time ever, and was actually disappointed by how average the portion size was, especially considering it was several dollars more than their medium ice cream! Two small sundaes was nearly $18.50, and they were no bigger than my local ice cream stand that sells their small Sunday for $4! (Shout out Uncle Sankies!!!) I will still always recommend Martha's to friends who are traveling through Lake George, but would only recommend getting their ice cream in a dish/ cone, as their sundaes are significantly overpriced in comparison! Either the portion needs to be increased, or the price needs to be lowered significantly. ***I included a picture of the local ice cream stand I was referring to, where their Sundaes are literally less than half of the price to what I paid at Martha's, and are identical size was! I am also including a picture of Martha's medium ice cream in a dish to show that you receive well over 2x the amount of ice cream for several dollars less then their sundaes*** ***AUGUST 2025 UPDATE*** I went here again at the end of the season and simply got a medium cone and a medium Ice cream in a dish, And the portions were as impressive as I remember! The peanut butter ice cream here is as good as you are going to get anywhere in the country, and the blue moon with fruity pebbles is fantastic as well! I still stand by my former statement that they are overcharging for their Sundaes, but this is still one of the best ice cream stands you are going to find anywhere! 🍨💪

If you're ever in Lake George this is a must! On top of their delicious soft serve ice cream and their many flavors to choose from, they also serve food! I've actually never really gotten anything other than the fried pickles which were delicious. This place is always busy. I always say go early get a parking spot and stay for a while. It's right across the street from great escape. Something you should always try is the strawberry and the cheesecake together is completely and utterly delicious!

Google
So far, this is the BEST soft ice cream of my life. I've never tried such an amazing soft serve before. It was PERFECT both texture and flavor wise. Honestly, I can't wait to go back and try more flavors, and I would highly HIGHLY recommend this spot. For me, this ice cream shop is absolutely the winner. 🏆

Google
You can’t find anything like this anywhere. Amazing customer service, huge portion, friendly staff. I don’t live in Lake George but anytime I go, this is my first choice for ice cream & shakes. They have plenty of ice cream options. There products are Not too sweet which is the best thing. Suggestions, always buy the kiddie size first to try because kiddie size is a lot for one person. Highly recommended !!

The food saved the review! Originally admittedly, I was quite upset at the flavor selection. They cycle through flavors. It sounds every three days. Although they claimed to have 37 flavors, each day they only have about a third of those. So all the flavors that I wanted were not available. But, as many other locations have started to do. They did have a cookie sandwich option available with all the flavors. Save the day! I also was able to get a side topping that I was able to roll the sandwich in which is a good idea if you want to add sprinkles or Oreos to your ice cream. But as I mentioned, the real hero of the day was the food! They have burgers and fries, along with some other interesting selections. Mostly chicken tenders, but in a few other options. Really good fries. I would say on the quality of five guys. And the burger, which, if you are not too hungry, you can get a kids meal, and it’s only eight dollars! The ice cream itself was also reasonably priced. The ice cream serving is huge! But there is a lot of people to come here. Perhaps from Six Flags? Perhaps Just visiting tourists that come here yearly. There is ample parking in the back of the structure as well as to the side. Don’t just fight for parking as soon as you enter the parking lot. Multiple lines that move pretty quickly. Very nice hosts! There is also a large picnic table area on the side of the building where you can find a place to eat.

Google
Very large, well known. Right next to the Great Escape. Super large menu and super large portions. Ice cream made daily I believe. Includes many sprinkles, dips, different cones, sorbets, ice creams, dole whips, and shaved ice. Shaved ice is huge - I got a small- for very little, less than $3. Lots of seating, but a tad uncomfortable.

Yelp
Loved Martha's Dandee Creme. Stopped by for lunch. We ordered kid's meals and were surprised by how large the portions were. There are windows for hot food and ice cream. We placed our order and it seemed like it was ready within minutes. Efficient service. The food was great, classic chicken fingers and fries. Served hot and fresh. Plenty of seating. The bathrooms were just around the corner from the seating area, very clean. I truly regret not getting ice cream as well. What a mistake!

Yelp
We visited this establishment while on vacation in Lake George. Numerous folks told us about it and, while driving past, the establishment was always jam-packed with patrons. All of this added up to very good signs to try it. There didn't appear to be a good time to visit, as the lines were always massive. We took the plunge and visited on a night with good weather. It is clear that the customers from Six Flags contribute to the lines, so plan accordingly. The old-time feel is what makes this place very fun, and it contributes to the experience. Parking was easy to find and the line was actually moved quite quickly by the staff. The staff were helpful, kind, and organized. I opted for the peach ice cream, as I love anything with peach flavor. Was it good? Absolutely! The portions are immense. I'm an eater and have been known to clean my plate with the best of them. I could NOT finish this portion of ice cream, as it was absolutely massive. Know this going in, as even the small is huge. Might save you a few bucks that aren't wasted when you file the rest in the trash. Recommended for an old-time summer experience.

Yelp
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! The ice cream portions here are absolutely wild!!!! My partner had a large cone and I had a medium cone. Neither of us could finish them because they were so big. But we had to get them for the picture!!!! The staff is very friendly. I wish I got to try the food but I didn't get a chance too- but next time I will! I had a birthday cake swirl with chocolate and rainbow sprinkles. Absolutely delicious. If you have a craving for soft serve ice cream, come to Martha's

Yelp
Always our favorite ice cream place to go to in the summer! This is a seasonal ice cream place so they are only open during the warm months. The chocolate peanut butter twist is the best one I have ever had. Especially in milk shake form! My favorite post work snack!! The flavors change every 3 days but if you miss a flavor you wanted don't worry because it will come back. They rotate their flavors regularly! I haven't tried any of their loaded fries but I want to this summer! If you and your kids just got done at a long day at Great Escape this is definitely a good place to go to get a little snack afterwards! A little pricey even for just a kiddy cone but it is always worth it! Be prepared because even the "small" cone brings you a ton of ice cream! I would also give their ice cream sandwiches a try! Service is fairly quick considering that the lines are always super long! They have tables you can sit down at and when it gets chillier in the fall they turn their heaters on! Definitely give their ice cream a try!!

Yelp
My goodness! I ordered a kiddie and it was massive. I can't fathom how a child would eat that much when I, a phattay, could not lol. I got a mix of pumpkin and maple walnut. The pumpkin was good but I could have done without the maple flavor. It came in a cone but I asked for a cup on the side since that sucker was like 6" high of soft serve. The lines are looooong but move pretty quickly. There are windows for ice cream and another section of windows to order food. We stuck to the ice cream side. My mom ordered a sundae with pumpkin ice cream, hot caramel and peanut butter. SO GOOD

Yelp
Great place for quick eats & snacks. A plentiful variety of frozen treats. Poutine was good. Quick & friendly service. Ample picnic tables. Very casual.

Yelp
Who doesn't love Martha's? Lines can get long but they move very quickly. Bathrooms are surprisingly clean. Ice cream and food is delicious! It's a true summer staple if you're in the area!

Yelp
This place is insane. They have the biggest ice cream cones I've ever seen in the picture. I got a small which could've been a medium, but I'm not complaining the more ice cream the better. The ice cream flavors are delicious. They have a lot of variety but all of it is soft serve so if you want hard serve ice cream don't come here, they also have food but we didn't get any food just ice cream. The line is pretty long, but they're moving along very quickly. There are seats under a tent, but there's also seating outside of the tent overlook the amusement park.

Yelp
New flavor of the day was marble cake and I added cookie crunch topping to it and omg BAM! so freaking good. Fast service and perfect location. What more can you ask for?

Yelp
A few years ago a former Yelp CM led tours of Soft Serve places in the greater Albany area. We never got as far north as Queensbury which is too bad because Martha's blows away all others. First, the custard is dense for a more satisfying experience. Second, the portions are huge. Third, the flavors are amazing. I got a medium with half raspberry/chocolate swirl and half salted caramel and skipped dinner after. Be aware that not all flavors are available every day, but if your favorite is not on order you can order it as a "cookie" (presumably like an ice cream sandwich). We were there on the way back from the eclipse, so early season and only two windows open. Even so the line moved quickly. They seem to have 2 people assigned to each window: one to take the order and handle payment and the other to fill the order. It's a good system and better than the vast majority of seasonal ice cream places that take forever.

Yelp
Nothing really satisfies as soft serve ice cream when you have a sweet tooth! To me, having soft serve ice cream signifies nice days ahead and warmer weather. What I love about Martha's is that they put out a monthly calendar and you can check their website for your favorite flavors. There are always lots to choose from. The portions are generous and there are several lines open at once. There's definitely something for everyone. I love that you can have two flavors stacked no matter the soft serve size you choose. So if you're deciding between two of your favorites, have both!! My personal favorite is soft serve vanilla stacked with dole whip mango or pineapple. It's super refreshing and is somewhat reminiscent of the orange creamsicle but updated haha. Martha's is by The Great Escape Amusement Park so as you're enjoying your goodie it will seem as if you're on a little getaway. There are tables and seating outside, so you enjoy your ice cream immediately. Get over to Martha's if you're in the area, you will love their dense and creamy soft serve ice cream. Yum!!

Yelp
This is a summer staple !! The selections are vast and portions huge !! Plenty of areas to sit and relax to eat your treat. The crowds can be huge but there is a lot of windows and the staff is very quick, friendly and welcoming.
google avatar

Meagan D.

Yelp
Many years ago before Six Flags took over the neighboring amusement park, this was a great little place but quality, service, and logistics of getting in/out of this place have all gone dramatically downhill to cater to an abundance of tourist traffic. The bathrooms are consistently atrocious. The ambience is very noisy and chaotic. The building is surrounded in (typically packed) parking and a busy road as well as the noise of a rollercoaster across the street. There are an abundance of good soft serve places all over the area and there is nothing remotely pleasant about this one anymore. It is definitely not worth going out of your way for.

Yelp
Martha's is almost as old as I am, and when my parents would drive the family to Lake George the only route there from Albany, NY was to drive by Martha's. Yet today was the first day I've been there. Lots of cars and lots of people, but with serving customers from lots of windows the lines were not too long and moved quickly. Actually, it appeared that there are separate windows for receiving your ice creme and receiving your food order. I enjoy soft ice cream, but I tend to think its consistency is the same no matter where I try it. Not so at Martha's! Here it is very dense but still creamy. My wife ordered the Maple Walnut and I tried the Peanut Butter. Two small dishes cost $8.79. Their small size is a very generous sized portion. My wife was very pleased with the flavor of the Maple Walnut. I thought its flavor was weak. But after she tried my Peanut Butter she pointed out that the Peanut Butter overpowered our tastebuds making it difficult to appreciate the Maple Walnut until the tastebuds had cleared again. The Peanut Butter was excellent. In any event, Martha's soft serve is better than any other soft ice cream I've had. Their website shows the planned rotation of flavors for the entire summer. The list appears to change and cycle through three iterations every three days. I believe we'll be making another trip on one of the days that Coffee flavor is available.

Yelp
I guess if you dig soft serve, 4 stars? Not 5. That's a star too far. Up in the area last summer. Family member said this was the place to go--a place I remember avoiding as a kid on our way to Storytown (now Great Escape or Six Flags or who cares) But he waaaaay oversold this place, kept telling us it was THE best ice cream around. So like spry little sugar fiends, we saddled up and head over there from Glen Lake. In the rain. Because "THE best ice cream around," family member promised. "Change your life!" Eh, I hope it's not "THE best." Because that doesn't bode well for other ice cream choices in the Lake George area. (I seem to recall one or two good places in LG village, but that's a madhouse in the summer.) Okay, enough of my foggy reminisce and back to Martha. The flavor was... average. Tasted of failed promises and disappointment because It's soft serve only, which isn't my thing. Nest time, I'd rather take my chances at a Stewart's somewhere nearby.

Yelp
I've been here once before 3 years ago and this is my second time back here since then. I have been craving a orange/vanilla soft serve twist all summer and was super excited to have one as I remember this place has a million different flavors of ice cream. The lines were not that long at the time we arrived and I didn't see the orange/vanilla on the menu so I panicked ordered and got a raspberry/vanilla twist instead. It wasn't until after I received my order did I see the orange, oh well! We thought we'd stop here on our way back but the ice creams were so big we didn't think we could do another upon our return home in 2 days. I really enjoyed my raspberry twist but I couldn't finish it. The small was the size of a large. If they had a kiddie I should've ordered that. My boyfriend, who said he was only going to get vanilla because "that's all he likes" ended up getting the cheesecake flavor and absolutely loved it! I'm glad he tried something new!
google avatar

Noel J.

Yelp
This place is totally insane, we couldn't believe how big the ice cream and iceys were, it was unbelievable! This is a cute place right across from a theme park. They serve huge ice creams and also some food like chicken fingers and poutine which looked really interesting but I didn't get the chance to try it. I got a blue raspberry slush puppy drink which I found to be very watery when I was expecting something thicker like a 711 slurpee. My partner got a cherry icey which was huge but was just a big ball of ice with cherry syrup poured onto it instead of Rita's, Uncle Louie G's, or Ralph's type iceys that are actually individually flavored and not made on the spot using the syrup. That said, we didn't like our iceys and didn't have much of them before throwing them out. However, my friends got the vanilla and chocolate soft serve and said it was delicious, so I'd definitely try that next time! The service here was good, all the kids taking orders at the registers were kind and enthusiastic. This is a very busy place but the lines move fast! I'd suggest coming here even if you don't get anything just to see everyone's giant ice creams! It's a sight for sure
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
this place was rated super highly and had long lines day and night, so we decided to try it. I think it wasn't mindblowing, but definitely value for money and had pretty unique rotating flavors
google avatar

M T.

Yelp
We came here after seeing this place on a few websites saying it's a must-visit when in the Lake George area and they are right. First off, you can't beat the price of the soft-serve ice cream. I got a large cone, and it must've had about a foot of delicious ice cream. They'll give you a container with a spoon if you don't think you'll be able to finish it. The wife got a kiddie cone and that was in most places small, maybe even medium. It's a must stop when in the area and don't worry about feeling like a pig. Best bang for your buck, especially if you're going with a family. Don't worry about the lines because they move quick.
google avatar

Michele S.

Yelp
Several stops the past month! My usual go to orange cream twist, Dole flavors, Mr. Is the Banana Pistachio. Today he tried Birthday Cake and Peach, thinking the BC over powered the peach, will try another combination next time. We always stop when travel through the area and sometimes just come over (2 1/2 hrs drive) for ice cream! Their servings are always HUGE! The staff is always friendly and helpful!

Martin G.

Yelp
Price for any size cone is extremely high. Like most seasonal local businesses, prices are geared toward vacationers not the local clientele. The product is superior.
google avatar

Ralph S.

Yelp
If you are into ice cream and near Lake George in upstate New York, this is a must stop. They offer different flavors, shakes, shaved ice. The flavor and creamy ice cream is awesome. So if your in the area, across from Six Flags Great Escape. Stop on by.
google avatar

Kelsey H.

Yelp
Fr the best ice cream you'll ever put in your pipe hole. Cone was so massive, I couldn't even finish it. And if you know me, you know I can mess up some ice cream, just ask Nina. She didn't think two scoops was enough for me. But anyways, Martha's got you covered for all your ice cream needs. Even got food if your belly is rumbling. Highly recommend. I'd go to lake George just for Martha's. Vibes are immaculate. Never seen a frowning face here
google avatar

Novella N.

Yelp
When we go on our annual camping trip (or happen to be driving by Lake George) Martha's is always a must to stop at! You can't beat the portions as well as the prices! I usually go with a kiddie size because it's just the right amount. If you order a small or larger, you better be sharing with someone else! Or not, I won't judge. The peanut butter dip is my favorite!

Yelp
This place is so nostalgic and delicious. Their portions are soooo huge and do not disappoint!! I am from Texas and when my all time favorite Banana Fudge Bomb was discontinued I was so upset, to my surprise they have a banana chocolate swirl soft serve ice cream that tastes pretty spot on and so creamy!!! Love this place, love that it is family oriented, pet friendly (live seeing the doggies ) the staff is great-for sure a new favorite of ours!

Yelp
On our trip to the Lake George area, we decided to stop here for lunch. The lines look long but the workers really get the lines moving and your orders in a timely manner. I order the fried shrimp basket with fries and a kids size chicken tenders with apple slices. The portions were huge for a reasonable price. We were not disappointed. I got my son a kiddie size vanilla ice cream with rainbow sprinkles. The kiddie size was for at least three people. Wow! Def your monies worth. Why I'm not giving 5 stars, we'll we decided to stop by to pick up lunch to go. I ordered the shrimp basket again but wanted onion rings instead of the fries. The cashier first told me that I couldn't substitute the fries, which prompted me to have her ask her manager to make sure. Her manager came who looked like just another cashier tell her she could and showed her how to do it. We didn't wait long and got our food. It was packed up to go so, I assumed everything was good. There was no one getting food at this time and they seemed like they were very organized so I wasn't worried. To my dismay, I did not have onion rings but again the fries. I love the fries but I really wanted onion rings especially since they up-charged me. Next time, I will be checking my to go order before leaving.
google avatar

Yelp
I appreciate the nostalgic feel. And the selection of poutine is fun. The ice cream is good. But the portions of ice cream are too large. So now my kids are getting it all over their clothes which isn't enjoyable for anybody.

Patti C.

Yelp
We went here on Saturday night on Labor Day weekend. The place was packed, understandly, since it is located just across street from Six Flags. Our locals friends who we travelled with bragged about this place soy expectation is high. They soft serve ice cream and rotate flavor monthly and we are here for the pistachio flavor. They allowed tasting, thankfully! Otherwise, my husband would have to eat my order for me since I found the pistachio flavor missed my high mark. It tasted like all other commercial pistachio ice cream a district after taste. Others in my group seems to enjoy theirs. They ordered blueberry flavor, chocolate raspberry swirl and some others. I must say though,,for the price, they are generous with their portion. If you like soft tserve Ive cream like what you find in McDonald. You will love this place since they have tons more flavors to choose from. My group will for sure comeback here if we are in the area and I would happy to just tagging along and sample other flavors. Maybe I find my flavor next time.
google avatar

Matt K.

Yelp
I can see why this is loved and crowded, however, it was not as good as I was expecting. Flavors change every day ahd I was not a fan of most flavors today. Plus I asked fir the smallest size and they gave me a small, which is quite large - and there is a kiddie size I would gave had. Such a waste of food with the amount they serve. But some people in my group loved it while others were mixed as well.

Yelp
We use to come here every summer but What Happened to the foot long hot dogs you were known for

Lisabel H.

Yelp
If you are in the area I definitely recommend coming here whether it is for a quick bite or dessert! We did both and got ourselves some Philly cheesesteaks and ice cream! The philly was pretty good, but the ice cream was was really did it! They have so many fun flavors and the portions are pretty big! We went at night so it was pretty busy, but the staff was able to get the orders out pretty fast!
google avatar

David H.

Yelp
So good (at least the ice cream). The most flavors (although wish there were more options to swirl different flavors), the biggest cones, and prices are super cheap compared to any city. We stop here 2-3x every time we're in the area. Favorites are blue moon, pistachio/blueberry, cotton candy, peach. Medium is the way to go, if you order a large make sure to get a cup on the side Food is mostly average but fine if you need a quick bite.

Yelp
Awesome ice cream ... had the dole mango one day and the brownie flurry another. Both delicious and will always be a customer when I come to visit. On a hot day the water sprinkler is very refreshing on the sitting storms.

Yelp
We have been visiting Martha's for several years and this is the first time I have taken the time to actually write a review. This place is amazing. They offer ice cream in a lot of flavors and a few dairy free options such as dole whip and Hawaiian ice. They offer several ways to have their delicious treats like sundaes etc. It is always amazing. So good we find ourselves here every night for dessert. The staff are wonderful. This weekend is the first time we had decided to try the grill. I am not sure why we were sleeping on it. The food is amazing, the portions are generous. Two days before closing for the season they still had all the food options. I can't say anywhere near us has that when it comes to end of season closing. Also note the nights we visited it was so cold outside.. we then realized their covered eating area has heaters.. it was absolutely wonderful to eat right there staying nice and warm and not braving the cold outside. Highly recommend.
google avatar

Ronald K.

Yelp
What a trashy, fun place! It even has the world's worst dancing fountains but it fits the total mood with the abandoned looking Six Flags across the street. The food is your typical crappy roadside fare, but you know you'll enjoy it and wouldn't trade it for a meal at the Four Seasons. Just beware, the onion rings look tempting but will leave you wishing you opted for the fries instead. Heads up, the ice cream sizes are HUGE so stick with the child size. The large usually ends up falling in the asphalt anyway. Just note be to check the limited flavors offered each day, sadly, your fav may not be on the list.

Yelp
WOW!!! What a grand, marvelous ice cream place near Lake George! I came here with my family and we were so overwhelmed by the many options that they had to offer here! There were multiple stands of employees where you could order from. I have never seen an outdoor ice cream establishment this big before! Very cool. The person who served us was very nice and fast. We tipped them extra just for their hard work. This dessert place was such a cool vibe, especially in the summer. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
I've been coming to Martha's for decades. The ice cream is consistently delicious and creamier than any soft serve I've had. I've never tried their cooked food, so I can't speak to that. I love the coconut ice cream with toasted coconut, and the banana is fabulous. The portions are huge. A small is like a large at many places. The staff is friendly and even provided us with a dish of water for my dog. I love the bright retro style of the outdoor tables and umbrellas. It's right across the road from The Great Escape, a Six Flags amusement park, and you can see people of the rides from Martha's. It's a great place, and despite its popularity, lines move quickly because Martha's is well staffed.

Yelp
This place is a destination! Delicious ice cream! Love the old time feel of the building.

Yelp
Yessss it lives up to the hype! The girls behind the counter were just as sweet as their ice cream. The prices were completely reasonable and the soft serve is delicious. I barely made a dent in my "medium" size cone. If you're in the lake George area make the stop!!

Yelp
The ice cream is still hands down delicious! But what happened to the great salads?? The overloaded fries were ok at best. Disappointed they removed the salad selection and other food items. Service was still prompt which is great. The outdoor seating is fine.

Yelp
My wife and I went to college here many years ago, couldn't remember if we had Martha's so we had to try it! Wow! The ice cream was delicious, we will bring our kids back here. They have a bunch of flavors and they serve food as well, we didn't try the food since we had just ate, but there is always next time!

Yelp
Martha's ice cream will always be #1, but two thumbs down to the new grill menu. No more awesome Asian Chicken salad or steak salad. No more philly's No more of all the good stuff. Now all they have is burgers and your choice of loaded fries with a whole bunch of different combinations you can load on top or you can make it on top of macaroni and cheese for $1.99 more. I say booooo. So disappointing.

Yelp
Great local tradition. We enjoyed the food and the soft serve ice cream. This seems to be a popular hangout.

Yelp
Martha's truly gives dandee ice cream. I never thought soft serve ice cream can be so flavorful and creamy. This is a must visit for everyone visiting Lake George. Skip all the usual ice cream stores on the street and make a short trip here to taste some wonderful ice creams and fried food. There are like 10 windows and they are always full, pretty much speaks for itself.

Yelp
Ice cream heaven! Get the kiddie cone or be prepared to eat a week's worth of ice cream in a setting. Must stop if in Lake George area!

Yelp
They have new flavors everyday but ingredients are typically artificial flavors, I ordered the pistachio and it was not what I expected, the standard chocolate though was good, I should have stayed with the regular flavors. It is packed during the evening hours so I opted to go back in the morning.

Yelp
Martha's Dandee Cream is a place I get excited to go to every year as a local! The location (just across the street from Six Flags) is very convenient for anyone finishing up their amusement park visit with the kids. The ambiance is amazing, and their outdoor patio dining area even has heating for colder seasons. They have dozens of flavors for soft serve ice cream and various options from sundaes to milkshakes. Those working the service windows are always kind, and are typically very happy to share information about the area with out-of-towners. If you live in Queensbury / Lake George, or are just vacationing in the area, I highly recommend visiting them. Whether you're stopping by for lunch / dinner or simply want to swing by for a quick cone, you won't regret visiting.

Yelp
Was passing through the Lake George area and decided to stop at Martha's. It has both fast food and ice cream. You order at the appointed window for food and they call you when your order is ready. Despite my fear of what I could get, I ordered a fried shrimp dinner. I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted fresh (wasn't over cooked), had cocktail sauce and fries were crispy. Friend ordered a philly steak sandwich which also looked really good ( cheese, steak and peppers). Parking was sufficient for a big crowd (which was not there that day), its across from Great Escape? Six Flags? Whatever. Was a good choice.

Yelp
I don't know where the negative price reviews are coming from I guess because I live in NYC a cone of these sizes are at least 15 dollars . Here at Martha's I paid 6 and some change for the largest cone I got which was coffee. My come was cheesecake with cherry dipping. Huge portion sizes and so very tasty and yummy. My husband son and I drove 4 hours from nyc to Martha's and we will definitely be back during the summer. Thank you Martha's for some of the tastiest icecream and oh STELLAR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THANK YOU AS WELL TO THE FEMALES WHO ASSISTED US . YOUR THE BEST.
