This is an instant favorite for me. Absolutely wonderful food, and the meat is to die for. Had the beef knox and maminha (tri tip). They were cooked for perfection and full of flavorful. I will be coming back for sure.

Excelent place to have a nice steak based on argentinean cuts. The place is very cozy and service was good. They also have delicious appetizers, such as empanadas and "Pan de abuela", which is quail eggs on top of shreded escarole on slice of toast All meat cuts are good, but Noir cut was exceptional. You can also order nice wines and beers

A locals' favorite. You can't go wrong ordering meat here. Great cuts done properly. The atmosphere is nothing like you see in places serving similar quality steaks. Lower key and authentic. No wonder it's been there for 20+ years serving a legion of fans like me.

Excellent restaurant for meat! Very well made red meat in a very nice environment inside Vila Madalena! Good for drinking some wine and try the best Chile's empanadas from Sao Paulo!!

Martín Fierro is an unpretentious place just off the beaten path in Vila Madalena for "lo-fi" fine dining. I had the empanada, which was average but not bad, followed by a delicious chorizo steak and "rustic" potatoes and sweet potatoes on the side. I'll have to go again to try other menu options, but I had a great first impression.
