I came here on January 7, 2023 with my boyfriend and the service the lady provided was great but the reason this cafe gets 2 stars is because we found ants in our ice lattes. We ordered 2 ice vanilla lattes in the morning around 9AM before we headed to work and it was only when we left the cafe and on our way to the station is when we noticed the ants floating at the top. I’m not sure where the ants came from since it’s winter but my boyfriend and I are either suspecting it came from either the ice machine or the syrup bottle. For anyone dinning please make be sure to check your drinks.

Really nice London fog. Will need to try the coffee next time. They have alone tea so that’s awesome. Options for baked goods and Kumbucha too. Great wifi and spots to charge your laptop

Great cortados and when we get there at 745am, the croissants are fresh out of the oven! Lisa* is always happy to see us. * that is close to her name

Excellent coffee. Small space and modern vibe. Small but well appointed patio. Service was so so - she was young and didnt seem to care. Coffee was on point though. Highly recommended. Flat white was ok.

Not much of a coffee drinker but decent coffee. The cortado was not a proper cortado. The service is great. Didn't try pastry and stuff but looked delicious and well presented !

My favourite coffee shop along the Danforth. Not for studying/working, or meeting up with friends, but rather the actual espresso, staff and quaint atmosphere. It’s so bare bones in every way and I love every aspect of it. I periodically stay in the Danforth for weeks at a time, and yet I’ve managed to establish a cadence with all 3 (?) baristas where they know my order the moment I walk in. It’s good vibes all around, love my early morning stops at Marvel.

Delicious tasting coffee and a very friendly staff. Small seating area inside but a big outdoor patio which is great in the summer

Cappuccino was very refreshing and original. Good pastries to too. It's a little cosy but comfortable enough.

Loving this place. They made me a great London fog, wifi is great for working, I'm right beside a plug and there is a lovely patio I can see using in the summer. The girl at the counter was lovely and helpful too

Quaint cafe I almost didn't see it in the corner. This is a lovely cafe with indoors and outdoors seating. Location is small so there isn't a lot of seating on a busy day. There are washrooms available for customers and it was clean! (Definite plus!) Was greeted with a friendly face and ordered an iced latte with soy and an iced mocha. Both were delicious and enjoyed the quality of the coffee here. I definitely would recommend this coffee shop.

Hmm, not really what I expected. The interior of this cafe is gorgeously decorated, but space is really limited. Since it was warm out, we decided to sit on the patio, which is very underwhelming - a stark contrast from inside. I ordered a sea salt latte, which came iced (partially my fault for not specifying but I assumed a latte was hot by default). It tasted decent, but the flavour was really subtle. Overall quite underwhelming. I'm not in the area very often, but I wish I could give Marvel another chance.

Great location, great service and pretty good coffee. That's a combination that is pretty bang on. I stumbled across this place and checked it out based on the name alone. They serve a Colombian dark on brew and Mexican medium roast for espresso and Americano. I opted for the Americano and it was a good decision! Well brewed, no bitter after taste, smooth, robust flavor with a hint of chocolate. I read some of the other reviews and they were knocking how the lattes were not that good... But to be honest, if you're going to go to a coffee shop you should be basing your review on the black coffee. And on that and that alone four stars. Well done, I'll be back if I'm in the area.

Had an appointment in Scarborough but it was moved back last minute when I was already on my way, so i decided to randomly stop at Pape station to buy myself some time. I had an awkward amount of time to spend so i decided to get some coffee and sit for a little bit. I looked up cafes nearby and this was the first one that showed up and i'm glad it did!! Upon arrival, i was immediately greeted by a kind staff. At first i wanted to get some coffee but i ended up getting some matcha latte instead, which was a really good decision because it was one of the best ones i've ever had! I love matcha latte but some places usually sweeten it to the point that it doesn't really taste like matcha. Marvel Coffee Company's matcha latte had a really nice, strong matcha flavour which was delightful! This might be really random but I also think that the company's logo is very cool. The interior of looks very clean and simple, i really like the white marble theme. The cafe is pretty small and there are limited seating areas, but it is pretty cozy regardless the amount of space they have. It would be a really nice spot to do some work or just to sit down and chill. Unfortunately i could not stay for long, I'll definitely make another visit next time i'm in the area!

I really really wanted to like this place so I will give it a 3 but this has got to be the most terrible matcha latte I've ever had in my life. I probably should have ordered something espresso based but its too late in the day. The cafe is small but very clean and modern looking. The service is exceptional and the people working are very kind but I can't believe they would have this drink on their menu. I could tell right away that the matcha was not good quality due to the colour. When they made it the first time, it was not hot enough, tasted so bitter, and chunks of 'matcha' powder got stuck all over my teeth. I asked for them to make it a hotter so that the powder could properly blend but received it again at the same temperature. I ended up just drinking this lukewarm green milk after waiting for the chunks to settle down. Is this how they serve their coffee too? I might be back again to try something else on the menu but this experience certainly has left a bad taste (pun intended).

Love this place. It's the kind of coffee shop you go to to feel a part of a community. It does look fancy at first but prices are reasonable actually, you won't spend more than on your regular Starbucks. They also have reliable wifi and nice pastries there is no air conditioner, so during summer it's better to sit outside on the patio

The service was good, I was helped right away and the cashier/barista was very nice and helpful. I ordered an ice chocolate, which is essentially chocolate milk blended with ice and ended up being a good size for the price. The inside was very small but quiet and offered a good amount of seating. They also have an outdoor patio with lots of seating and because it's just off of Danforth, it's a little quieter, which is nice if you're trying to do work or just want a quiet place to hang out.

We tried their coffee, croissant, and cookies. Everything was great. Loved it. Definitely a great option when in the area.

I just stopped by to grab an espresso after being recommended this location by a friend of mine. I cued up in the line and began to enthusiastically ask where the coffee was sourced from. To which I'm assuming the owner quickly rattled off "somewhere in North Toronto. ..." to which I asked more specifically if he had a name.... seeming annoyed at my inquiry he said "Does it matter?" I was so dumbfounded I politely thanked the attendant and left the store. To answer your question Marvel Coffee it does matter to me who is roasting your coffee and where you are sourcing it. Next time Mr. Owner if you are so bothered by my enthusiastic questions I suggest relocating yourself to the back of your location, for if it had not been for you I would have still purchased a coffee from your very polite barista even if she didn't have the answer to my question. Very friendly staff, wonderful outdoor seating and amazing coffee. I also had the blueberry scone which was delightful.

I was meeting a friend for coffee in the neighbourhood & after reading some Yelp reviews decided on this place. I'm happy I did. I love the interior of this coffee shop. It's modern, bright & sleek. I only have one little negative comment about the place & that is that I wish the seating area was bigger. It was rather cramped seating inside. On the other hand they have a huge outside patio for the warmer months. I'm sure in the summer this will be a fabulous place to meet up for a coffee. I was planning on getting a coffee but once I saw the tea selection I couldn't resist. I LOVED my tea. I got the chocolate mint with a lot of soy milk. It was so good. As mentioned in another reviews for this place the counter staff is very friendly. He made sure are order was perfect. I would 100% recommend this place & will be back in the warmer months.

Great little coffee shop tucked just around the corner from the main Danforth street area. Very friendly staff with a relaxing ambiance.

My first coffee in Toronto this trip and it meets my West coast expectations. In B.C. we appreciate our coffee like we do our Cannabis, and Marvel does the trick. A good roast, prompt friendly service, and deadly butter tarts. The atmosphere is tight, warm and full of neighborhood. Good stuff!!

I have had a number of cappuccinos here. I don't know what they do but the coffee is smooth, hot and delicious. Their carrot cake is wonderful. I do wish the patio was nicer. But I love the coffee so...

Beautiful cafe - marble tables and stunning suspended lights give a modern European feel. The coffee is great and the pastries are fresh and delicious. Comfortable for working, fast wifi and friendly staff. Just steps from Danforth I think this place is often overlooked but it is so much better than the chain stores in the neighborhood.

What a nice find here in greektown! Love the patio in the front of the shop facing the side street and the interior layout of the shop. The Americano had a nice flavour, a little on the pricey side but it was quite good. Very sweet owners who are very friendly. I didn't have anything to eat but the menus looked very yum with options for all palates to enjoy! I will be back for sure when in greektown.

Went with my husband, our son and a couple friends. We loved everything! The black and white cookie was amazing. They seemed to care about what we thought. It's a bit of a tight space for strollers and all the accessories but nothing major. Will be back!

Go there in the morning when they are baking fresh cookies.... yum yum yum!!! I enjoy their flat white, and cortado the most. They also have treats for your dog waiting patiently outside.

This coffee shop is a gem tucked away on a side street. Nice decor and atmosphere, friendly staff, and my americano was delicious. The wifi works great. There are more seats than you think at first. It's a nice place to sit and do work or chat with a friend with no pressure. I'll definitely go back again.

Fantastic coffee, friendly staff, amazing freshly baked goodies. And FINALLY a hip and modern place on the Danforth. A place like this has been needed for a long time.

I am very fond of this coffee joint. Such a treat, just a few steps from the Danforth. Great espresso drinks - love stopping to get a latte or mandoccino. Nice selection of food and tea. Counter staff always friendly and welcoming. Lovely patio.
