I would give it zero stars if I could. 2 of the 3 outlets in my room don’t work, the dishwasher hasn’t worked since before I got here 3 months ago, there is one maintenance guy for the entire square who just maybe might show up a month later if you put in a maintenance request, staff is unfriendly, Daybreak (programming) is like walking into a brightly colored insane asylum, someone is always screaming outside, the police are here about once a week for complaints, oh, and here was “breakfast” one day (pictured below). I was told I’d be picked up from work at 9pm yesterday and no one showed up so I Ubered home because the bus in this area is unsafe at night, you end up waiting about 40min at daybreak for the nurse sometimes, and I might have bed bugs. Don’t send your loved ones here :D

The Mary Lee Foundation contracts with dentists who are known to extensively pull teeth on the IDD community. Regardless if a person has IDD, they are still a human being. Had I been warned and informed prior to my son’s appointment, my son would not be choking on his food and at risk for aspirating for the rest of his life.

I've known of a resident who has lived there for 15 years. He's been a buddy mine for awhile, and I feel that Mary Lee does a decent job with the care of the residents living there.

They need to offer negative stars. This place should be ashamed of itself! The therapists are under qualified, it's obvious they have NEVER taught any of the subjects they attempt to. The staff consists of rude, arrogant, idiotic, uneducated jerks that have no business at all being around, let alone working with people with TBI's or ANY disabilities. They are extremely understaffed and place people with absolutely zero knowledge not only about the subjects they attempt to teach but about disabilities in general. They play favorites and if you dare question them they punish you by not letting you go on outings which they pay for so that's another way they save money. I was told about this place and how bad it sucked years ago but I thought it had changed. At least that's what they tell everyone. They always get medications and people mixed up and I'm surprised a major incident hasn't happened yet. Unfortunately there isn't many other options, affordable options, for people with disabilities and that's very apparent with Mary Lee continuing to operate. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Do yourself and your insurance company a favor and go somewhere else. You will thank me later. The only favorable comments you see are posted by the staff. The daily schedule consists of maybe three classes on a good day and one of those is grocery shopping.

This is a wonderful place for brain injury patients! My sister-in-law had an incident which left her unable to walk or talk correctly or even think and function. She attended their in patient brain injury rehab which consisted of classes on budgeting, cleaning, meal preparation & anger management. There was also physical, occupational and speech therapy along with fun outings and activities. The staff was exceptional and supported her all the way through the rehab. After rehab, she was offered affordable housing and a job! Through their warm, caring guidance, she was able to reclaim her life and live in her own apartment even with having some diminished capacity. They work miracles at this place!

This place not clean thay have Is a lot of bugs over there some the staff is really rude and people living there bugs in food room dayroom they don’t make them clean up they Room only they make them clean in dayroom That why bugs infestation of dirty disability don’t clean and some the staff baby some disabilities them this place old fell a apart not safe it not keeping up that staff they not to like to work forever and disability be rude and mean and bullying not respectful over disability people over staff out here people getting hurt by falling down the sidewalk it not staff at night in day room because it locks it after9.00pm open at 6.00pm in the morning if is emergency or you not feeling well you need something to make feel better at southpointe Yes, they can’t pay enough.. so the people that take the job are not very good at it and don’t care about the residents Thay all lot of sweet crazy psycho and and stupid in the thay head Lots don’t put your love ones at Maryleefoundation . Of Tham residents and is lots racism out there to white black Mexicans over colours of skin by getting gay people by the residents at Maryleefoundation and thay called damage with stuff and vehicles getting they can’t control them at all

This place should not be in business. One of my relatives lived there and they never supervised her. She was drug to the point she could not tell us a thing that was going on with her. If you want a place that will care for your child this is not it. This place should be investigated by the government and shut down.

So much love and kindness from everyone I have met here. I am so very blessed to have been a small part of the outing to 6 flags. Incredible people doing incredible things

This is a great organization that is helping so many people. We really enjoyed the tour and learning about the Mary Lee foundation.

I've never worked for a place that I've witnessed roaches crawling across the desk. they have reviews dating back years (even with photos) showing they're notorious for not only roaches, but bed bugs.

I am speaking from personal experience when I say Mary lee is not the place to be. The way it is described is not how it auctually is. nothing is consistent around here and rules are not properly enforced. The building itself looks like it's on its last leg and is not the cleanest place. The staff here are not the most professional. I question how qualified these people are that work here. Honestly if you ask me this place should be shut down. The only thing that seems to be taken seriously around here is money and making sure state can't prove anything shady that goes on here. Sometimes I question how safe it auctually is to live here based on things that go on. I would not recommend this place.

When I got here for my stay of 6 months to practice Independent Living, it seemed cool. The staff was nice and helpful, the apartment I lived in during the 6 months was comfortable and clean. I felt like I was doing good there until I noticed that I was constantly being given ultimatums if I did not do what they wanted me to. They did NOT care about what I wanted. They just like to twist things around so they can get their money in the way that they want it. There is no actual "graduation date" out of the Mary Lee Foundation. Once you "graduate" you have an option to move into the affordable housing units on the same block where they continue to "check-in" at uninvited days and times. The staff here have nothing better to do than make my life hell. That is why I'm currently seeking new living arrangements so I can get out of this hellhole.

This place is awesome :) The staff taught me useful habits to use in order to take care of myself! All of the staff were so helpful & attentive to my needs! Even after I graduated the program, I was able to receive counseling/help at my request...everyone who works here truly does care for our well- being out in this big world :) I WISH I COULD GO BACK TO THE MARY LEE FOUNDATION TO EXPRESS MY APPRECIATION!!

They allowed my father to proactively discuss my medical history without my explicit consent. This violates privacy laws since I am an adult. This place should not even be a licensed facility.
