Marye's Gourmet Pizza

This place makes 90%+ of their food from scratch. Most of it is organic. Lots of it is locally sourced. The pizza, salads, & canzones are the best that I've ever had in Austin. Multiple cheeses, & different types of milk make the cheese very good. The staff goes above & beyond to make sure that their customers are happy. The owners care a great deal about their staff & quality of food. Enjoy it.

Wow! I found this place by accident, and I’m SO happy that I can call it my favorite pizza spot in Austin! I’m from Chicago, but now living in the Austin area. Any full-blooded Chicagoan will tell you that the BEST pizza in Chicago is the traditional thin crust. The deep dish is good, but the overall favorite for a Chicagoan is the thin crust. Today, I had one of my BEST pizza experiences EVER! I ordered the Margherita with Italian sausage (the #1 pizza topping in Chicago). I was in heaven! Just writing this review 10 hours later has made me SO HUNGRY, that I told my wife I want to go back tomorrow! It’s THAT good! The staff was VERY friendly and patient with me ordering because it was my first time there. I was undecided at first because everything looked delicious! I was glad to meet the owners as we left! Great people! My kind of pizza, my kind of town!

This place NEVER disappoints!!! Their food is amazing, but their service is stellar! My soup was missing from my delivery order, and before I even noticed it wasn’t there, they had already went and came back to deliver the soup! Just amazing! I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars!!

Marye's is our favorite take out for pizza and salads. Their pastas are amazing too! They make it very easy to pick-up or deliver, and they do a wonderful job catering large orders for events!

Haiku for Marye’s: Creative menu Healthy salads and Pizza Thanks for the great meal! This is a great lunch spot, if you are there with friends and want to share salads don’t do what we did and order full sizes. The half’s should cut it. The avocado dip was the appetizer I’ll definitely get again.

Don’t get the sandwiches here. This sad bread, burnt bacon ,soggy as well, looks like they just smashed it together , for $13!! …it’s not worth it. Just get the pizza

Food always fresh & healthy farm to table. New dishes created regularly! Pizza as good as Italy!

The food was excellent. Started off with a mason jar trio...pimento cheese with hatch chiles, humas with lemon feta and avecado pest. All 3 of these were so wonderfully tasteful! I favored the pimento... We also had her (Maryes!) whole organic salad, with granny Smith's, caramelized Pecans, onions (and more? ) and a tasty lemon vinaigrette. I wanted lick the plate it was yummy. Pizza and pizza rolls too, very tastie. I think you'll love it too!

The food was fantastic. This is a great all-around Italian restaurant. If you're in Austin looking for some great food, then this is the place for you!

My husband and I returned to Maryes for some good pasta. He placed the order online and we went to pick it up. I didn't go inside but I noticed that it was a well lit small restaurant with some seating. We ordered lemon feta hummus which comes with toasted pita, olives and cucumbers, two pizza rolls, 3 baguette slices, spaghetti and meat sauce, and pablano chicken alfredo. Both pastas come with a piece of garlic bread. The food was very flavorful. The lemon feta hummus has been a favorite of mine since I first tried it because I like the lemon flavor. The cucumbers and olives were fresh. The pitas were soft and perfect to take apart and dip in the hummus. The pizza rolls were doughy but very greasy. I couldn't finish mine. The baguette slices were decent. They were soft and had a hint of butter on them. Both pastas were full of flavor and the garlic bread that came with it was a great addition to the meal. Overall, it was easy to order and pick up, and the food was delicious.

A fav for reliable, tasty Italian fare when you're want something above chain quality but aren't in the mood to put on your heels.

Great Austin pizza and staff is always friendly. The Caesar salad is standard but we get it because it goes well with their pizza.

It pains me to write this review. I really thought this would be a 5 star experience. I order for curbside. I got a mini pizza, half salad and dessert. It was $30. Pricey, but it's Friday and if it's delicious fine. My order is supposed to be ready at 5:39, I pull up and check in at 5:36. Says it will be right out. Another lady pulls in a few mins later and gets her order brought out right away so I figure mine is coming. 15 mins later still no acknowledgment or order so I called in (I'm pregnant and not feeling well hence the curbside) and they say oh yea and bring it right out. It had clearly been sitting there and was lukewarm. I drive the ten mins home and by then I have room temperature pizza. The pizza was good but small for $12.50 and now basically cold. Salad had great flavors but was small. Yes it was a half salad but like the bowl was smaller than my palm and the toppings were skimpy. Like 90% spring mix and 10% toppings. I had really been looking forward to a great salad as promised in reviews. I got a lot of spring mix though! My dessert was laughable. I ordered a s'more thing and it was a prepackaged item they sold for $5?! I'm talking like looks like the things you buy for $1.99 in the checkout lane at Ross. How is this a dessert being sold by a restaurant?! It was good though but I don't think I've ever been served a prepackaged Ross like item from a restaurant. I might would try this again but dine in only and be ready to drop some money for small portions and I would ask clarifying questions about the origins of the desserts. With the bad service without even an apology, long wait, cold food, prepackaged dessert and spending $30 this is barely a 2 star for me. If they had got everything right it could have been a pricey 4 star.

OMG! The perfect slice of pizza. PERFECT. It's thin, it's crispy, it's hot... wow. I was under the impression Westlake didn't have good food options... I was wrong. Marye's is up there with the best pizza in Austin. It's also in a super cute shopping center.

Great atmosphere and great food! There's seating both inside and outside which was made finding seating easier. Overall id recommend this place to anyone wanting to try a new pizza place. The flavors are unique and priced well. Mac and cheese: 8.5/10- creamy and thick. Good ratio of pasta and cheese. Loved the breadcrumb toppings. Wished the dish was bigger for the price. Marye's pizza: 9/10- loaded with lots of toppings. The beef was flavorful and the other toppings added freshness. If you like a bunch of toppings you'll love this pizza. Florentine: 9.5/10: cheeeezy and fresh. It's almost like an upgraded margarita pizza. Would highly recommend giving this a try.

One of the best gluten-free pizzas ever! Amazing selection of salads, convenient location, well run family restaurant! Good for lunch or dinner.

Delicious food with lots of choices! We had the kale and brussels sprouts salad with chicken, the Greek salad with salmon, the pepperoni pizza and the meatballs. It was hard to decide what to order. We will definitely be returning. Nice interior. At lunchtime, the place was packed However, our food came out quickly. Great service.

Literally the best cheese pizza I've ever had. I also asked for a bone shaped cheese pizza for our dog's 10th birthday and the guy in the kitchen ACTUALLY made it! That was probably one of the best moments of her life, just saying. He deserves a promotion.

This little gem was so worth it! We had the pizza rolls and the pesto chicken sandwich. The flavors were fabulous, and the place had a great easy vibe. Highly recommend

We love Maryes! This is our favorite neighborhood pizza spot, but truly everything they serve is so delicious. The ingredients and quality of their food is top-notch. The owner, Stuart, is incredibly kind and personable and really cares about his customers. I love how quaint and cute the restaurant is as well. Just a really cozy, yummy spot we'll come back to again and again.

just picked up a kale and Brussels sprout salad with salmon - the fish is horrible; its cold and taste old. the rest of the salad is good. I have had many of Marye's dishes and they are very good but this salmon has either gotta go or get much better.

We've always loved Marye's but our recent experience with a $60 takeout pan of lasagna was disappointing. The lasagna tasted bitter, as if the cheese had gone bad, making it nearly inedible. When I called the restaurant, they only offered a 10% discount on the total price, which was disappointing. Given the poor food quality and inadequate customer service, we'll be hesitant to order from them again.

Great pizza, amazing vegan options! I got the Natures Treat with vegan cheese and vegan pepperoni. One of the best vegan pizzas I've had from a non vegan place

Got this catered. Tried the take and bake vegetarian Lasagna. Wow this was so incredibly tasted. Loved the incorporation of lots of vegetables. It was delicious. Would definitely get again on a night I don't want to cook!!

This place used to be great. The food is still good but they put so many chairs and tables in my elderly parents could not get around. I see people knocking against tables and chairs. Couldn't imagine someone with walker or wheelchair. The servers can't even get around. Don't get me wrong, the servers are great and the food is good but the way they changed the restaurant is a downgrade.

I mean how am I not going to leave anything other than a 5* review for Marye's anniversary special of $1 for an entire 14" pepperoni pizza? I ordered and paid online and arrived to a very disorganized store, as I expected. Staff was in good spirits all things considered. Pizza really hit the spot. It's far from my house so I'm not sure I'd make the trip normally but with an empty schedule on this Wednesday afternoon, it was ok to make the hike.

This place has incredibly delicious pizza and scrumptious food. The service is impeccable and the staff is very friendly. You are missing out if you don't stop in to select something to eat there, to take to go, or even better to have the option to take home and bake/cook. Thankful I was able to find such an enjoyable place! I can't wait to return.

Had lunch here today. Not cheapest but so well worth it. The burrata salad and the spinach pizza were so good. We will be back!

Great neighborhood spot. Very small inside but cute and great pizza. Their Brussel Sprout salad with marcona almonds, manchego cheese and oranges is famous in Westlake.

The food is incredible!! Service is great too. We had a party of 8 and they took good care of us. We had the appetizers, pizzas and a beet salad. I had a cauliflower crust that was delicious.

Marye's pizza is good but I wouldn't call it the best or my go-to for pizza cravings. Friendly service. Pretty cafe vibes to dine-in.

A week ago Saturday I called in an order for 2 large Marye's pizzas with no jalapeños. I arrived and paid for the pizzas and I just happened to look at the pizzas before I left. Sure enough they had jalapeños on them. I showed them the pizzas and they finally agreed to remake them. Waited another 15 to 20 minutes. They handed me the boxes and I once again looked at both. One of them had not been remade and still had the jalapeños on it. They didn't offer an excuse or money back or anything ! I ended up throwing it away when I got home and ordered another pizza from another company. They tried to get away with not remaking the entire order. I will not be back, they just lost a good customer.

A somewhat hidden gem in a nondescript group of stores behind Breed & Co. hardware at Westbank and Bee Caves Rd. Small, casual and friendly. The pizza comes in 4 sizes and is a New York style, but not quite as typically thin. Very delicious with a slightly tangy sauce. They have other items but we typically go just for the pizza.

What a quaint pizza shop...I had a blissful time meeting my friend for lunch at Marye's. Upon entering I was immediately comfortable, ready to relax, and eat well. The restaurant decor was so inviting and super chic. The large blackboard menu was easy to read and ordering was a breeze. They had beautiful table settings with posh paper napkins with bright yellow flowers accompanying our table. The food was delicious and generously proportioned. I had ordered the Friday Mediterranean pizza and salad special. I embarked home with leftovers for my family and they were delighted and asked for more. Overall it was a great place to have a lunch date and I will certainly be back.

Love Marye's - this was the first time I ordered carry out, since we normally sit there and eat - but it was still delicious! Can't really speak on anything but their pizzas, but they're seriously all so good. Never stingy with the ingredients and always fresh tasting. The staff that work here are also always nice and friendly. Go check them out if you haven't already!!

First time having Marye's and we loved it! I wish I could've tried everything on the menu it all looks incredible, but we got the margherita pizza, quinoa salad and chicken Caesar wrap and it was all great! The salad was super refreshing, and the 8" pizza was the perfect size for one person. We will definitely be back!

This place was great! We happened upon this little joint on a vacation weekend in Austin. The garlic bread was great, the pizza was delicious, and the service was perfect!

It was lunchtime and it was my first time to eat here. My wife eats here all the time and tells me besides pizza women eat here for the salad. As you enter there are few tables outside along with planters growing herbs. The inside is small but has an elegant seating setup. It was very clean and bright. Thinking about the salad I decided to order the Monday lunch special which was a 8" Stack gourmet pizza with a side salad. I was given a number where they bring food out to your table. Soon my salad arrived and it was a full plate. It was very fresh and tasted very good. I see why it is so popular. I ate most of my salad until my small personalize pizza arrived. Cut into 4 pieces it looked very good. I took one bit and it tasted very delicious. It was excellent. After eating the pizza I returned to the salad. The staff is friendly and when you are done they come by to take your plate away. This place may tucked in a corner but definitely a diamond in the ruff.

A great tasty Buddha Bowl with tofu will stay memorable and call me back to their little corner.

Full disclosure - went for the $1 large pepperoni pizza! IMO, if a restaurant is confident to discount a large pizza to $1, they know they're winning new business. After tasting this pizza, I feel like it was a clearance sale. Too mean? I'll quote my husband - "it's a dollar pizza but it tastes like free pizza"

I like the veggie bowl! It's quite tasty. Give that a try! The vegetarian pizza is fine, too, but the bowl is my favorite.

So yummy! My friend and I stumbled upon Marye's as we were running errands in the area. I've heard of this place but had not tried it until now. It was delicious! I got a half order of the kale and Brussels Sprouts with a slice of Pesto pizza and my friend got the Detox salad and pizza rolls. Everything is homemade and tastes so fresh. The vinaigrette dressing was also delicious. Everything was priced just right and the service was excellent. Will definitely come back here again.

This was our second time trying Marye's and it was underwhelming both times. Has a nice simple salad but anyone can throw veggies in a bowl. The cheese flavor was not it and overpowered the whole pizza and pizza rolls. It was giving off almost a bleu cheese flavor. We couldn't even finish a slice and we are not picky people. The only pizza that was decent was the margarita. The poblano Alfredo pasta was mediocre and gave off a fishy taste but also was just bland. The sandwiches look like something you make at home and the bread rips apart as soon as you open the packaging. We really don't understand why this place has so many good reviews. There are better pizza places in the area!!!

Marye's is one of my favorite pizza places in Austin! I love how many different options they have and the service is always great and quick. Plus, they have gluten-free crust that is actually delicious! And you can get vegan cheese as well...but I didn't go quite that far. The regular crust pizza is great as well, and very fresh. The meatballs were a spontaneous order for me the first time I went to Marye's, and I'll get them every time! Big, juicy, and plenty of sauce. A great addition to a couple of pies.

It's a little bit sad that I've lived in Westlake my entire life and only just got around to trying Marye's pizza this year. What is WRONG with me. No one knows. BUT I do know that the pizza actually really surprised me in a fantastically positive way. Not really sure what it is, but it tastes clean and a bit different from any pizza I've had. I did just describe a pizza as clean. But really, it's got very nice flavour and it's not completely bogged down in cheese/oil, but it's also not a "healthy" pizza that is lacking stuff. I took a bite and immediately thought "Wow, that's nice!". Silly me for not coming here earlier.

Great little place. Great pizzas that have a weird Austin twist. Really has a family feel and the servers were super. Came here with a group of 10 which is a bit large for this place and we ordered a good variety of pizzas and a couple of salads. All the food was very fresh and tasted great. I will return here next time I am in the Wild Basin area and want pizza. This place gets two thumbs up!

I really wanted to love this place. It's actually my 2nd time there but it has been years and I wanted to try again. I love the idea and I love the part of town they are in and they survived the pandemic so I wanted to give my support. I got an appetizer for the drive home (I live in NW Austin) and then an 8" to bake at home. I ordered online which was cool and they have curbside so I was back on the road quickly. I ordered cheesy garlic bread and it was so bland even though it has several ingredients. I think that would have been okay but the crust was almost cornmeal like and I did not enjoy it. I ordered margherita pizza. The ingredients were fresh yes, but the tomatoes lacked any flavor and the cheese was a blend instead of using fresh mozzarella. I'm not encouraging anyone not to try it, but just sharing my experience.

Visiting Austin and wanted a fresh salad and good, small pizza - found Marye's on Yelp. Tiny place and middle of afternoon - only traffic was to-go orders. The staff seemed shocked someone would sit down - seemed a bit awkward but took my drink order and meal order. While the food was being made I could overhear wait staff and apparent Togo driver talking - not a big deal except no one checked on me. They were around the corner. I should have been asked if I needed more tea, etc. The salad took a long while, but it was very fresh and delicious - I had the namesake's salad with house basalmic (yummy) and definitely no complaints - 1/2 size. As it was served I was told my pizza would be out almost immediately. Hmmm.. maybe the salad was ready a while? Oh well. A minute later I heard someone say "that's for a customer eating here".. "oh ok". I think they were trying to box my lunch. The 8" margherita pizza was delivered right after that and it was fresh and hot. Great texture and nicely presented... but I was not asked if I needed anything. My tea was almost empty. I would have liked a little salt and maybe red pepper if they had it. Oh well. I continued to enjoy the meal - and again, it's good, fresh good... just no service. I finished and sat there a while.. one of the staff was in view sitting behind a counter focused on an iPad or something. I wasn't in a hurry and finally they noticed and brought the check. I'd say 4 stars on food quality and freshness but minus a star for a staff that had nothing else to do but didn't stay focused on their only dine-in guest. Maybe when they are busier you get more service. I'd go back for the food though.

We loved dining it at this place - and in the present time it's a favourite pick up spot. Friendly, easy ordering online + by phone. Great crust with just the right amount of stretchy chew to it. Pizza rolls aren't greasy at all and their house made ranch is my fave - I think it has dill in it? It has something delicious and slightly different! Food is always hot + fresh - They're pretty punctual about their curb side ready times. The one time our order was delayed they kept us informed + gave us a $20 voucher for our next visit. Two thumbs up.

Kind families, avoid Marye's during calendar 2020. Marye's simply cannot or will not deliver your order as paid for, while most restaurants will provide very well for your hungry children. Texans know times are currently difficult, but it is very wrong - equivalent of illegal price gouging - to charge $18.75 for Asian Salmon Salad, but not actually deliver the paid-for item. Simultaneously, Marye's received $15.50 for crab cake salad for two 2-inch diameter crab cakes. I tipped 20% on the total order, which clearly has either supply chain problems or failure to execute. Do not let your family get hit by a Marye's DTPA violation. Marye's, just be honest with customers. Consumers understand legitimate mistakes, but don't take money when hungry children expect a meal.

Austin eateries are held to the highest standards and Maryes holds true to this and more. Great service and fine touches making the overall experience an absolute delight. Even more, the food was an amazing. Fresh veggies in the salad and a pizza crust that almost brought a tear to my eye. I'd give them more than 5 stars if I could.

Ive had many happy evenings at Marye's and have filed several 5 star reviews. But I love the place even more in the age of COVID. Make an order, and they bring it to you car, piping hot and delicious. I'm really glad they stayed the course.

Ordered 14 inch mother lode, 14 inch Canadian bacon/mushroom and Greek salad. The toppings were fresh but for the portion size / price it was so disappointing $$$$. Not realizing that it was only non gluten place was something I could get in the frozen section of grocery.

Marye's gourmet pizza is a'somthin special. It is soooo delicious!! The pizza and the salads!! It's Marye's!!! They had delicious brownie a la mode. The inside of Marye's is beautiful as well! There is a wonderful warmth from the quality ingredient/ ambiance. So delicious. My favorite pizza place in Austin!
