"Maryhill Winery — a family-owned establishment originally from the Columbia Valley region — plans to open up a tasting room and bistro in Woodinville’s historic Hollywood Schoolhouse November 16. The massive 10,000 square-foot venue (built in 1912) has gardens and outdoor balconies, with a ballroom, antique bar, and full kitchen, along with room for up to 450 people." - Gabe Guarente

Have been to Maryhill on multiple occasions and their food has always hit the spot! Benefits as a wine club member are great with complimentary flights and discounts on food every Tuesday. Service has always been kind and the tasting room has lots of natural light!

My significant other and I chose to begin our wine tasting experience at Maryhill Tasting Room since it was our first time ever. From the minute we entered the building, it was an amazing experience. I informed the employees that this was our first time and that we had no idea where to begin. The two employees who assisted us—a younger woman with blue eyes and a younger gentleman, I think his name was Anthony—were very accommodating and attentive to our needs when helping us make choices and explaining what to order. We had a wonderful time overall and took home our two favorite bottles of wine from the tasting.

Maryhill was probably the best wine experience we had during our wine tasting adventure in Woodinville. We went to 4 wineries and Maryhill blew them all out of the water. Collyn the manager (I believe) was exceptional and very knowledgeable on all the wines and he let us taste the wines before we purchased a bottle. Such a great experience. Plus the food was on point! Tasty and delicious. The atmosphere was great, very inviting and perfect for large groups. I'll be back the next time I'm wine tasting!

Went to winery because I like the Rose of Sangiovese. The worker that took my order charged me for the Rose Proprietors Reserve and did not know how to reverse it. The manager tried to correct it but was double charged. I have called 4 times and nothing has happened. I went there on Oct 5th not sure what else to do.

Google
The best wine tasting experience in Woodinville. My favorites are the Cab Sauv Classic and the Albariño. Great ambiance, the friendliest staff, and the food is tasty. Our group had the steamed clams, sizzle prawns and the brisket. So good! Will be back.

I have been here a number of times and it is a lovely experience every time. The tasting room is quite beautiful and open. There is also outside seating in the warmer months (full disclosure: I have not sat there but it looks great). Every member of the staff has been super courteous and helpful. I’ve had Ashley help me most recently and she was a total joy. It’s worth stopping by for her alone!

Absolutely adore Maryhill! Not only are their wines delicious, they have an amazing event staff managed by a great team. As another business professional, working with Maryhill is always a pleasure. Enjoyed the 2019 Winemakers White Blend, and it was so delightful on a hot, summer day. Highly recommend their wines, food, and event space. A must when in Woodinville!

Yelp
Cozy elegant wine tasting experience. Ambiance is exactly what we were looking for in regards to a Woodinville wine tasting experience. We had our pick of sitting on a high top vs a table. Definitely recommend the high top so you can see out the windows. The lighting is bright and natural while there's a cozy fireplace warming the place up. The flight of wine was a nice large selection of 7 wines. It's a great deal if you like one of the wines you can essentially buy a bottle for an extra $10-20. I was hoping to find a wine I liked from the tasting but I honestly didn't really love any of them. I thought the serving size was great but this wines did not suit my palette. The Brie cheese dip was delicious though and they gave us extra crackers since there was so much dip! Overall great experience and would recommend

Yelp
We had a great experience at Maryhill tasting room. All staff were very kind and the wine was amazing. Thank you Zena making our experience wonderful! We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Absolutely delightful experience at Maryhill Winery! From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance was charming and inviting. The bottle of white wine we selected perfectly complemented our meal, which included the succulent steak chimichurri, heavenly gnocchi, and a refreshing green goddess salad. But the star of the show was the new Rueben sandwich, hands down the best we've ever tasted! The service was impeccable, making our evening even more enjoyable. Can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
We arrived at Maryhill later than planned this evening, and we missed the last call for food and wine by just 4 minutes! I've had a wine-tasting at Maryhill on my bucket list for a long time, so it is still on my bucket list! We got there at 6:34pm, and the last call for food and wine was at 6:30pm. The ambience is really lovely, with a huge map of Washington State on one wall, sparkling light fixtures throughout, a fireplace (so nice, especially on a cold winter's day!), and several tables with chairs. The gentleman who greeted us had a great vibe, and fortunately I didn't leave empty handed - I asked him if I could buy one bottle of wine to go, and he said sure. I'd noticed a delicious-looking Rose that is currently featured on Maryhill's website. It has notes of strawberry, peach, and vanilla. I love all three of those tasting notes, so of course I had to get it. I couldn't recall the name of it, but he knew immediately which Rose I was referring to when I mentioned those tasting notes to him. He asked me if I wanted my Rose chilled, and I responded that a chilled bottle of Rose would be preferred, but that it wasn't absolutely necessary. He was very nice about getting me the chilled bottle of Rose. I thought that the price of my bottle of Rose was quite reasonable for the quality and taste. I don't drink much, or often, and I know very little about wines, but sometimes a nice glass of wine is the perfect thing. I am currently slowly sipping my glass of 2021 Maryhill Rose of Sangiovese, back at home in my comfy chair. My Rose is fantastic!

Yelp
I have experienced both the bar tasting as well as a sit down flight tasting. Both were pretty good, but I usually prefer the bar tastings because they tend to feel more personal. When you order the flight, you just get the flight menu to refer back to. I do love that the flight includes seven wines in the tasting, as it is more than the usual amount that is offered at other tasting rooms/wineries. The Sangiovese is definitely my new favorite. It was so delicious that we purchased a bottle to take home. This spot is close to a lot of other wineries, and makes it easy to visit multiple in a single day.

Yelp
Maryhill was by far what I traditionally think of a tasting room. It was beautiful and elegant but then it lost me a bit with boxes of wine in the middle of the floor opting for a Costco look. It was a bit weird. Unlike many of the other tasting room Maryhill elects to provide the entire flight of wine at once. It makes for a pretty picture but I really missed hearing about each wine and the background of it from its grapes to its tasting notes. Instead our server placed our flights down and then left. We didn't see him again until our bill was dropped off. We opted for the bread and it was good. The presentation was unique. But Maryhill left me wanting.

Yelp
I don't know how I haven't written a review for here yet because I have been here so many times! I love Maryhill Winery. Their wine tasting flights are the best and I love the food on their menu. Props to the chef for cultivating a really tasty and satisfying menu compared to some places. I have tried their BBQ and their charcuterie boards and needless to say, they are delicious and pair well with a wine flight. I like that their wine flights are more than just 3 wines to try, and they are the perfect portions for tasting. It is fun to learn about the different blends they make and here about their wine collaborations with Kiona vineyards (my absolute fav wine membership) in Columbia valley. Service is always great here. Everyone is so kind and they give great insight into their wines and wine making process. Maryhill also has live music which is seasonal (says on their website) so check out social media for when they have live music next! I personally love live music nights here because I feel like the acoustics are so great inside the tasting room and it brings up the vibe for wine tasting.

Yelp
We visited last week as a part of "Toys for Tastings" with participating wineries in Woodinville. Such a great cause supporting Toys for Tots- buy two gifts equal to $30+ and you earn four tastings at participating wineries. When we arrived we were seated near the fire- great for a cold night. The gentleman who seated us and chatted with us for a bit and the server were very kind. Unfortunately the server was pretty soft spoken and couldn't hear him very well over the conversations of others as well as the music. This flight of seven wines had three white and four reds. Typically I enjoy Rieslings, Viogniers, some Pino Grigios, some Sauvignon Blancs, Moscato, some Gewürztraminer, and Muscat... red wines usually give me headaches and are too dry and not sweet enough for my tastes. Unfortunately the three white options didn't get me super excited. The only one that was OK was the Viognier Classic but honestly for me it wasn't one I'd want to buy and drink. The other six just really didn't taste great to me or my husband and mother who are primarily red wine drinkers. Nothing on the tasting menu hit the spot so I guess it's true that everyone enjoys different kinds of wines because they had many people visiting there that evening. $35 for a tasting seems a bit hefty- albeit seven wines to try- since none of them got us excited and some actually we didn't even finish which is pretty rare for us during tastings! The wine and noise level got three stars in my opinion but the ambiance, employees, nice fireplace fire, and participating in Toys for Tastings bumped it up to four stars. You might have a different wine palette so give them a try with this great opportunity to support Toys for Tots and you'll get to see if their wine is to your liking...plus a chance to visit three more wineries as part of this great cause! It was a nice evening with laughs. Give them a try during the Toys for Tastings- great way to support a great organization and try out some local wineries!!

Yelp
Go here for LUNCH if wine tasting in Woodinville! Excellent service, wine selection, and thank you for cool air conditioning with plenty of space to walk around. Also there's a really pretty drive-up for your ride, so you can pretend you're someone special.

Yelp
Food was okay. - baked Brie (didn't taste like Brie): 2.5/5 - salmon: 3.5/5, very sweet sauce Wine: 4.5/5 Did the flight and loved most of them! Service: 5/5 Super friendly staff! They also have live music, didn't get their schedule though. Can't wait to return and buy more bottles!

Yelp
There are many good tasting rooms and Maryhill should definitely be one of those you visit. First, it is a nice place for tastings. The interior is wide and inviting, where you can either site to have food (near the entrance) or just do tastings (more towards the rear). We were just there for tastings. One nice thing is that you do not need reservations. The tasting fee if $25 which is not charged if you taste wines. The tasting offers a nice range of red and white. We just went to the bar with glasses and tasted one at a time--although it seems like there is also option to get small glasses of each wine. The person pouring the wines was very friendly and knowledgeable. After we got our wine, we went outside where they have a few really nice places to sit and drink. There is a nice little stream and it is really pretty. We ended up getting a couple bottles and will definitely be back again.

Yelp
Great wine and nice inside and outside area. We also ate and the food was really good. I had the gnocchi and brie. Gnocchi is a little pricey but still good, brie was amazing!! I had a bite of my friends brie and jam sandwich and that was really good as well. The Sangiovese wine was great as well as their serendipity. Only thing that could be improved, I wanted to do the wine tasting and to do so you have to keep going back up to the front for your next tasting. This was inconvenient as we were eating and there was always a line. They used to have trays for the wine and I asked for one but I guess they're only for members. I don't think that's fair and they should be for everyone. So instead of doing the wine tasting because of the hassle I just got a glass. I was excited for the tasting and wanted to buy a bottle to bring home.

Yelp
Always love trying wine wherever my wife and I go. Found Woodinville online and decided to try it out. We're from San Diego, but my family lives close to Paso Robles, CA and that is prime wine country! So we wanted to see how the taste of the wine would differ a bit due to the totally different climate. We were pleasantly surprised by the flavors and varietals that this winery had to offer! The staff was awesome! The manager was very knowledgeable as he is from the O.C. And spent 10+ years working in Sonoma County's wine country. I highly recommend this tasting room. It's a bit out of the city but it is such a change or pace that it's worth it!

Rose E.

Yelp
I'm in Heaven. A glass of the exquisite Blanc De Blancs reserve and a scrumptious classic Rueben... Zena, my server and Collyn, the manager were both welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun! Can't wait to visit again.

Yelp
Visited on a busy Sunday. The space is large and inviting. We got to stand at the bar for service...something we haven't been able to do since covid started. Ian is the BEST host, was excited to see him at Maryhill! We sampled several wines and ended up buying a case of the Zinfandel, which happened to be on sale. My friends enjoyed the wines so much that the three of us joined their wine club together. Needless to say, they have some very good wines. We are looking forward to returning for member tastings and events. This is a must stop place when wine tasting in Woodinville.

Yelp
Went yesterday and was not busy. We had a wonderful experience. We were not amazed with the red wines but the whites were good. I would go again.

Yelp
We decided to do some wine tasting in Woodinville on a decent weather Saturday-whoa-so did everyone else! We tried to start at Alexander Nicole & felt like idiots when we were told we should have made reservations & would likely not get into any wineries without them-UGH So we walked just next door to Maryhill & wow we got right in! We had a window table with the sun shining in- so beautiful! There were 4 of us so we decided to order 2 "flights" for $20 each & planned to order two bottles of our favorites as the $20 tasting fee would be waived for each bottle! We loved all of the wines but decided on the Sauvignon Blanc & The Cabernet- so delicious! We wanted to snack on something with our wine so we got the charcuterie & hummus plate- so good! This place was perfection as the atmosphere, service, wine & food were amazing!

Yelp
4.5 stars. We stopped for a wine tasting SERVICE: 5.0. Marcella was knowledgeable about the wines she served. She was also relentlessly upbeat, though it was near the end of a long day. WINES: 4.5. All very good. We split a single flight between us, given the number of pours; it was the right decision. Bought 2 bottles. AMBIANCE: 4.5. The location in the former Hollywood Schoolhouse was warm and welcoming. We had attended a wedding in the building a couple of decades earlier, before Woodinville was populated by more than two wineries. The entrance hall has an interesting wall display of bottles containing soils from various WA AVAs. Our wine was served at an antique wooden bar in the far room opposite the entrance. There is an outdoor area as well, though not open when we visited.

Julie h.

Yelp
My friend and I enjoyed this establishment while we were in town. We stopped in for a wine tasting after a local recommended us for to go. They have a shop of items that I enjoyed strolling through as well.

Yelp
It's true... There are SO many good wineries in Woodinville to choose to spend your time at. But Maryhill is one of my absolute favorites to stop at and if you haven't given them a chance just yet, it's time to GET ON IT. Outside of having really amazing wine, the Maryhill venue is absolutely beautiful! It's in the Old Hollywood Schoolhouse, which was one of the buildings I had ALWAYS been curious about checking out before Maryhill took over the space last year. I'm so glad they did, because it finally gave me a real opportunity to come in. It's two floors of absolute gorgeousness! The upstairs is their club deck and the downstairs is their "open" seating. I know during COVID-19 it is limited and masks are required (as every other place in coordination with state guidelines). The food here is also wonderful. It's more lunch fare than anything else, but it's great. I've tried the Reuben sandwich and it was great. My husband ordered something off of their limited BBQ menu (not available anymore, sadly) and he also loved his meal too. And of course, as mentioned above, their wines are amazing. I really like the classic 2016 Winemaker's Red (which is a modest $17 per bottle) and their Reserve wines are also phenomenal, too. It's really hard to go wrong with any choice here, really. On top of all of that, the service here is stellar! Morgan & Collyn especially have always taken really great care of me every time I've come here, but all the employees here are kind & fun to chat with. It's hard to find something NOT to love about Maryhill. Great wines, good food, amazing service, and I really did feel safe dining & drinking here even during COVID-19 as they do a great job of adhering to regulations and policies. Give them a shot! You won't be disappointed. :D

Yelp
My first experience at Maryhill was. . . . unpleasant. I went in October 2020 so we had to deal with the COVID pandemic. I asked to be seated outside and my server refused stating that only single glasses of wine could be served out there. I wanted a wine flight so I was sat at a table inside. My table was directly in front of the air conditioning that blowed in my face. Not good during COVID. My wine flight arrived all at once on a stand. Seeing that they weren't pouring each wine separately and that the glasses came with their own stand, I again asked if I could just take it outside. Again I was refused because it's "too much work." Not sure how picking up a wine stand versus a glass is so much work. It was the early afternoon on a weekday and a slow time for business. I felt dismissed. I began the tasting from left to right starting with the whites. Didn't like the whites but the rose bubbles were okay. The disliked each of the reds so much that I could only take one small sip. Left every glass of the flight unfinished, paid the $20 and left within 10 minutes of arriving. Wine tasting is a very individual thing. What tastes amazing to one person may be distasteful to another. So just because these wines didn't appeal to me doesn't mean that they won't be good for you. However, poor customer service is universal. It would have been quite easy to let me sit at an outside table during the pandemic. I even offered to bring my wine glasses on the stand back in when I was done but that garnered an eyeroll and refusal as well. Not nice.

Yelp
This review is for the evening of 11.27.2021. On a whim, we decided to try this tasting room after multiple visits to the Woodinville area and we are so happy we did! This has easily become one of our top 5 tasting rooms in Woodinville. Wine: the wine flight costs $20 and consists of a wide variety of wines. Your flight is waived with a $30 wine purchase. Our top 3 favorite wines this evening were the Semillon, Merlot and Grenache. If you've had a 100% semillon in the past, then you're familiar with the easy drinking taste and this is no different. We picked it up as an every day bottle. The Grenache was very subtle but still full and flavorful when sat out long enough. Highly recommend this wine to anyone just developing a taste for wine. The merlot was amongst our favorites tonight. It was the perfect combination of dry and full. Food: We ordered the fried shrimp scallop po boy & bistro bread tonight. Everything is house made and you can taste the quality. The po boy was some of the beast seafood we've had here in Washington. That garlic oil mixture on the bread tasted so good I regret not getting an order to go! Service: the service was great and honestly a big reason why we will be back. Marsala walked us through the tasting and was very informative. She also made it very personal and answered all of our questions. It was such an inviting first experience and will be back.

Yelp
Such a disappointment. Spent the weekend in Woodinville. I normally love Maryhill wines, so was looking forward to trying this location. Zero customer service. Basically said sit wherever you want (looked like a wine storage room full of fruit flies) and come to the bar to order whatever you want (my favorite not available). Only disappointing place we visited in Woodinville. Won't return.

Teresa J.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place. Excellent wines, food and ambiance. The view is SPECTACULAR!!

Abby S.

Yelp
I love visiting wineries with club members. You get the VIP treatment and lots of tastings. Lucky for me, I went to Maryhill with TWO members and was treated like a member, even if I'm not one. Yet. Pinot Gris on a hot summer afternoon hits the spot. As do the crab cake BLT sliders. Plus, I got to see the private event space in the historic building. Such a cool building, btw, I love old spaces that have been restored and reused in a new way. What was once a schoolhouse is now a tasting room. Beautiful! Had I been in town a few more hours, I would have gladly spent more time at Maryhill. Alas, I had to hustle to catch a flight at Sea-Tac and could only enjoy a wee bit. Next time...

Erin H.

Yelp
I love the layout of Maryhill! So spacious and perfect for events or larger groups. There is also plenty of parking which is a major plus - especially around Hollywood District. Staff were lovely and allowed us to taste wines so we could properly decide which we wanted a glass of. In regards to their wines, I really enjoyed the Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Next time you're out and about, make sure to stop by!

Yelp
Maryhill Tasting Room & Bistro is a wonderful addition to Woodinville. I'm so glad they opened a tasting room in the Seattle area, in addition to their tasting rooms in Vancouver, Washington, Spokane and their home base/winery in Goldendale. I attended the pre-NYE party at Maryhill (thank you, Lauren!), which was a great way to learn more about Maryhill Winery. Located in the Hollywood Schoolhouse, the setting cannot be beat. The schoolhouse has a parking lot in the back of the building, with plenty of spaces. Parking can be an issue in this area of Woodinville with the surrounding wineries, so am especially pleased that there's a lot here, making it easy peasy. The tasting room was much larger than I thought, as they have two levels of the schoolhouse building. The main area/tasting room is open to the public and is where their kitchen is. For a winery to have a kitchen that stays open much later in the area is a blessing. I get sick of eating at the same places in the Hollywood Schoolhouse District, so this is a win. We were also able to try their heavy appetizers as part of the event, and the selection was solid. They had a lot of different items, from lighter fare, such as crudite and bruschetta, to more savory options, like chicken skewers and glazed meatballs. We tried the brut, the cabernet sauvignon and the reserve zinfandel. Of all of drinks, I enjoyed the reserve zinfandel the most, which I was also pleasantly surprised by. I'm not normally a zinfandel fan, but there is really something special about their reserve zinfandel here. It's fruity, but it still has a slight smoky taste, which is how I like my reds. It was a more unique wine that I've tried, and would recommend doing so in your visit. Yet, there will be something for everyone, as Maryhill has 70 varieties of wine! The upper level is designated for club members, and definitely has a more intimate feel to it. The setting serves more so as a sitting room with a fireplace, comfy chairs, with of course, bar service. There were also plenty of tables and chairs for groups, in addition to the Library Room, which can be used for private events. Staff could not have been friendlier. Everyone was happy to help, especially an employee who we spoke to the most about the different wines. We also had the opportunity to speak to the manager and he mentioned that in the spring time, they plan to have lawn games set-up with outdoor seating. More good things to come at Maryhill! I'm glad to have checked out a new winery in town and learn about the company and what it brings to the area. Again, it's a wonderful addition to Woodinville and it will definitely be a stop for wine tasting adventures.

Suzi B.

Yelp
The old Hollywood schoolhouse is quite the charmer, with it's beautiful natural brick walls and wooden floors. Maryhill has taken the first floor and made it a desirable event venue when it's not being used as their tasting room. There are several bars to belly up to around the venue, including one fronted by a long row of wine barrel staves. When we attended the early New Year's Eve event, there was plenty of room for a live band and dance floor, a buffet bar, event check in, wine service, and cafe tables for a cocktail party feel. The tables were tucked between two bars serving wine by the glass. TIP: go ahead and buy an entire bottle because the cost per glass quickly adds up to more than the cost of that bottle in many cases.

Varshini S.

Yelp
Maryhill was our third and last winery stop during our day of winery hopping in Woodinville. It's a very pretty estate room that's really spacious. Flights and tastings are pretty expensive here but seeing the ones others ordered, they are presented really well and look to be generous pours. I would definitely try it the next time I'm back. My husband, friend, and I opted to split a bottle because it was more economical and we had already done 2 tastings prior to coming here. I like that you can walk around the winery, check out bottles as well as their prices, and bring it back to your table. It's fun to walk around! We picked a Sauvignon Blanc to split. The wine was good! It wasn't out of this world amazing or one super memorable but definitely a decent white worth drinking. They also seem to have a good food menu I'll have to check out soon. Definitely worth a visit!

Yelp
Attended Maryhill's early New Year Party. Lucky for us I won tickets via Instagram, so big thank you to Yelp Seattle/Eastside and Maryhill winery for our tickets. Maryhill's new space is in the old Hollywood Schoolhouse and is large and beautiful. This will be a great place for wine tastings, bites and/or private parties. The upstairs is limited to wineclub members, though lucky for us was open to all for the party. Appetizers, served buffet style, we're good and we loved their Brut as well. Favorite apps were the goat cheese with blackberry and honey on a crostini, as well as the meatballs - they were both really delicious!! Also, all the staff were really nice. And there was great music, which Maryhill will have regularly-so check out their event calendar, and drop by for a tasting $15/flight which can go toward a bottle of wine over $25. If we had purchased tickets, we agreed we would have been a little disappointed with the food offerings. For $75 per ticket, some steak appetizers, a 2nd glass of Brut or wine and dessert would have seemed appropriate. (Also, hubs said the chicken skewers, which I didn't try, we're a little tough) We definitely plan to visit again for tastings, nibbles and music.

Tammy E.

Yelp
I absolutely love Maryhill! They have such a large open tasting room where you don't feel crowded or rushed when you're here! I thought I already reviewed them so I didn't take any photos this time! I love the grand entrance with all the ABVs on a map painted onto the wall - this is so smart! My friend visiting from out of state had asked where the various places were and then we came in here and he was like "oh it's just as you described! That is cool to see it visually!" We were seated right away and my friend who has the wine club membership shared her free tastings with us. What a great perk to being a member! With 7 wines to taste plus two extras (for members) we enjoyed our time here! I love that the tasting glasses are petite stemless glasses that fit perfectly in the staves of old wine barrels. This is so classy! Now I just want a used tasting stave to hold my votives on the mantle! Sustainability, am I right? Service here was excellent and I look forward to returning to this beautiful space again!

Yelp
We had amazing Bridal Shower for my daughter everything was handled and executed perfectly. Courtney the vendor coordinator was so accommodating helping us set up and making sure we had everything, the day was a beautiful setting out on lawn and all guests had good time. Maryhill Winery was a great choice for the party good food and wine!

Yelp
Ample parking in the back as you arrive. The old school house transformed into a charming tasting room and bistro. The staff was lovely. I am not a red wine fan, but Michael shared with me the "red wine for white wine drinkers". It was smooth and enjoyable lacking that bite of tannins that has steered me away from reds. Grenache is what you want to try if you are in the same boat. Their Chardonnay was delightful as well. The food they provided at the event was beautifully displayed and equally tasty. Jalepeno deviled gave me a kick, prawns, cheeses, hummus, marinated olives and spinach dip. Wonderful evening overall. Thank you maryhill winery for the introduction to your facility. And the roaring 20s theme with the band was an great added touch.

Yelp
Back again to give five stars. This goes to show that Covid aside this place is amazing. Collyn is absolutely the best manager I have ever seen. He is so attentive to customers and creates an amazing guest experience. We originally only came in for a wine tasting but stayed because the service was so phenomenal. We got several small plates, the charcuterie board is really fancy and the baked Brie is served melted which is a game changer. The prawns are spicy but a great complement to a wine tasting. Plus, the tasting is like 7-8 wines and if you purchase $30 of wine it's free. They don't take reservations so just stop in! It's worked great for us in the past month. We keep coming back because it's so much fun.

Yelp
Absolutely one of our new favorite spots in Woodinville's wine district. First, the space is so big and cool - it's like an artist loft, open and airy with high ceilings and lots of light - in an old building. Of course, there's plenty of wine on offer, including flights, bottles, and a wine club if you want to really indulge. The wines are good, and the servers are nice about making recommendations to suit your taste. But what really sets it apart is the food! A lot of the wineries have token food offerings that make me wonder, what's the point? But the food at Maryhill, though not an extensive selection, is really, really good. On our most recent visit, I had crab cake sliders that were out of this world - served on little brioche buns with a slab of meaty, crispy bacon. My husband is in love with the shrimp and crab po-boys, and I have to agree, they are flavorful and delicious. We both opted for soup instead of chips or salad for the side, and were delighted with a cup of tomato bisque topped with a drizzle of pesto olive oil. There's usually parking outside, and outside seating in the garden when the weather is nice (or under a tent when it isn't). The servers are generally friendly and helpful, and we haven't ever had to wait for a seat, though it's usually fairly full - as full as any place can be during COVID. A great Woodinville wine spot.

Yelp
DOG HATERS / NOT PET-FRIENDLY / NO DOGS ALLOWED (even outside!!!). Absolutely no rhyme or reason to their dumb "rules". Every other Woodinville winery we've been to in the last 7 years allows our 10 pound rescue dog to accompany us (outside). I totally understand when tasting rooms do not allow our pet to be inside with us, but OUTSIDE? On a lawn? Come on. There is absolutely no reason to not allow him outside (in a dog stroller, at that) while we taste wine. What's even stranger is that we have had him outside at the patio at the estate winery on the Columbia (in Goldendale). What's the difference??? Maryhill gets 2 stars for 5-star wine and no "points" for being absurdly out-of-touch with reality. We will take our money somewhere else.

Yelp
There are a lot of good tasting rooms in Woodinville (and I hope to get to most of them). This one is in the Hollywood Schoolhouse, so it's really convenient. It's got a good parking lot right next to it, and if that gets full, there is the city lot by the trail less than a five minute walk away. COVID precautions are abundant. We chose to sit at the back next to the windows. So, wine first. You get 7 tastes (at the moment) served on a nice wooden "votive holder" (only way I can describe it really). Each of the wines is nice enough, but I do have my favorites (Their Malbec and Sangiovese). There isn't a bad one among them. Food tends towards the sandwiches - I've tried the reuben and the po'boy (which isn't) so far - both good. You get to choose a salad, chips, or soup with it. Leave room for the chocolate mousse with candied bacon. It is to die for and happens to pair rather nicely with the Syrah, which is the last glass on the tasting menu. Throughout, the staff is attentive, yet discrete. They don't push their wine club (which I like), and just let you enjoy the experience. This definitely should be on everyones Woodinville wine tour list.

Yelp
I literally can't leave this place without a bottle of wine. It's all so good; the tasting gets me every time! I love that their food menu is ever changing, if we hadn't come for dessert I would've definitely grabbed some dinner or done the food pairing! We did try the brownie and the truffles, which were awesome. Also awesome - huge parking lot out back, and walking distance to a lot of great places.

Yelp
This was a fun experience! We shared a tasting and got two more on the house. If you buy a bottle of wine they also wave the tasting fee. The staff were SUPER friendly. It's a nice place in an old school house, so has a neat vibe. Would definitely go back again.

Yelp
Absolutely adore Maryhill! Not only are their wines delicious, they have an amazing event staff managed by a great team. As another business professional, working with Maryhill is always a pleasure. Enjoyed the 2019 Winemakers White Blend, and it was so delightful on a hot, summer day. Highly recommend their wines, food, and event space. A must when in Woodinville!

Yelp
We had the opportunity of attending a pre-NYE party here tonight. Maryhill is relatively new to the area and only two miles from where I currently live. This was a place we had wanted to check out for a while and had high expectations given the fine location and the chatter around it. Maryhill is located in the old Hollywood House venue in Woodinville and they have done well with their remodel and move in. The venue is spacious, clean, and there is a small bistro with excellent snacks inside. But on to the important part, how was the wine? It was superb. We thoroughly enjoyed the Rose that was featured tonight (purchasing several glasses) and the Brut that was present also. Maryhill works with a select group of vineyards in the Columbia valley and has invested the time to pick ones that work really well for the wines that they make. They have a variety of whites and reds and as they have been making wine since 2001 and it shows. The current wines are mature, well made, and flavorful. Now, I'm not a sommelier so I can't describe fully how well I appreciate the wine that Maryhill makes, so I will simply say this - I am probably going to join as a premium member. Maryhill will be the first winery that I actively support. They know what they are doing and they do it well. The rest of the party was fun too, but given that the wine was awesome and knocked it out of the park enough everything else was simply icing on the cake.

Yelp
Wonderful evening at the Maryhill early New Years Eve Party! The venue at Hollywood Schoolhouse is beautiful, with 2 floors - main floor and upstairs with couches and fireplace. The wine is delicious as expected... pleasant surprise was the food, prepared by the in house bistro! Not sure what is on the regular menu, but the meatballs and stuffed mushrooms were divine. We can't wait to return this summer, if not sooner!

Yelp
This was our fifth wine tasting in the Woodinville area and so far our favorite. Inside the beautiful Old Schoolhouse building, the setting is peaceful and welcoming. Heather provided fantastic service, describing each wine and answering all our questions. The tasting flight was only $20 for seven samples! By far the best deal we found in Woodinville. And the wines were delicious! We wound up buying way more bottles to take home than we anticipated. This is a must stop if you are in Woodinville for wine tasting!

Yelp
I have really enjoyed everytime I've come to this tasting room. The staff is friendly and attentive, the wine is divine, and the decor/ambiance draws you in. They also are open the latest in Woodinville!! I can even come here after work sometimes. It's just perfect. I joined the wine club about a month ago (FOR ONLY $25) and always get free flights everytime I come. It's incredible. Please please please try them out.

Yelp
Collyn, Collyn, Collyn! He was playful, accommodating and we couldn't have been treated more nicely as a group of 9 walk-ins. We had an hour between reservations at our first stop and our second - and he acted like - no problem! We bought 2 bottles, had clams, several cheese and meat platters - and the team was trying to figure out how to keep the clam broth too. It was so spectacular. Needless to say, they were out of town guest so that didn't happen however it was wonderful to watch them strategize. Lots of laughter, great wine recommendation. And just overall a wonderful surprise additional stop. Thank you!

Yelp
I. Overall: Another boutique winery in Woodinville downtown with convenient location and walking distance to other wineries and eateries. Decent food and decent wine II. Disclaimer: I have not been paid or compensated to write or share this review by anyone in any way shape or form whatsoever III. Food and Drink: We were a party of 4 couples and some kids and this was one of the few places that had room in the lawn in the back. We ordered... - A bottle of their house Rose' - A bottle of their house Ganache' - Several Cuban Sandwiches - Several Chicken Pesto Sandwiches - Several Hummus Platters - Caesar Salad - Potato Salad - Cole Slaw - Potato Chips - Several Mac'n'Cheese - Artichoke Dip platter - Several Chocolate Mousse Positives: Mac'n'Cheese was the best thing on the menu followed by Chocolate Mousse Negatives: It took a long time for the food and drink to arrive. We had to check the receipt to make sure we got everything because they missed a bunch of stuff IV. Ambience, Service and Charges: We sat in the lawn in the back because they ONLY do wine tasting indoors. The service was SLOW and inattentive. The Charges for everything including a 15% Gratuity was $400

Yelp
Maryhill tasting room is really spacious and the upstairs area comfortably holds ~100 people. Parking is plentiful. At first I had some concerns since there was a one lane pathway when I pulled in for an event but otherwise parking is a plenty. I really enjoyed their Cabernet Sauvignon and thought most of their bottles are reasonably priced. Definitely come check them out next time you're interested in a tasting!
