We were really well received by the team at the winery and had a fantastic tour and tasting.
All the wines showed really well, sweet and dry styles alike, and contrary to the comment below, the dry white wine, Altair, which is made with Grenache Gris, is very good indeed.
Highly Recommended. 🍷

We had a very very good tasting experience. The staff was very kind, they explained us very much and they spoke good english. And the most important thing, the wines are really good. We can recommend this place

Probably the best sweet muscat wine in France, and an incredible history starting in 1816. Did you know they were the first to use the “mutage”, a way to stop fermentation using pure calva alcohol, and eventually colaborated with Portuguese in the Douro region to develop the Porto? Yet the MA 1985 is probably a step higher than most Porto.

I had never seen this dessert wine before and then suddenly within the same month I've tried it twice. First at Manresa, then at Cyrus, two very fine dining establishments. Now this is a fortified grenache which takes some getting used to initially as it packs quite a punch. A dark plum/purple hue as it sits in the glass and as you sip it, it has a thick/sweet/herb/smoke flavor to it. Very complex as wine goes and I'm not sure how I'd exactly pair it, but it's interesting enough to go on it's own. The price tag maybe a hinderance to some but it's definitely worth trying if you're into non traditional wines out there. 4.25 stars
