This place is pretty great! The room itself is the centerpiece of the experience, with an impressive ceiling and decor that draws you in. The staff is friendly and attentive, with good mixed drinks and a fairly traditional menu.
As great as it is, theres just some things missing. To begin with, they use paper napkins, which is odd for a DTLA resturant. The drinks were a little pricey for what they were (they were good, but not what they were charging for them). The menu was a little too stereotypical (I could get a lot of the menu at a corner taco stand for cheaper and probably better), and the food was nothing to get too excited about.
Again, there is nothing really wrong with this place!! It just didnt wow me considering who their neighboring restaurants are.
