Everytime I go here, I always get tempted to get the Grilled Fish Ahogada Torta. The red sauce smothered on the dish makes it exquisite. If you're not a spicy person, try this at your risk ;)

I celebrated my birthday here and they were so nice! I had never been here before so I didn't know what to expect but everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the service was great, and I loved the atmosphere in here. Our waiter, Andy, was the sweetest thing. I will definitely be coming back here.

Highlight of this place ? The service. My order was sent to the wrong table and the manager came over, greeted us, apologized for the mix up, and gave us a complimentary plate of house dips and AMAZING guacamole. The mix up wasn't a big deal but man did this place score major points with me when I saw him handle things like that. One thing, this place can get pretty popping so don't take it personally if you ask for something small and it isn't delivered immediately. Food is good, the place is nice as well. GREAT PLACE FOR A DATE, $40 and for two people should suffice.

An empty restaurant should be the first sign that things are about to go horribly wrong. But we sat down anyway. Had the strangest waiter experience, who proceeded to tell us how his day was ruined because he lost his phone and credit cards and that someone maxed them out or something, and he was very upset that the restaurant management team wasn’t very sympathetic towards him. Needless to say we ended up serving as therapist to him while he couldn’t manage to get iced coffees right. Quick trip to the men’s restroom left me speechless at the filth. I’ve seen cleaner public street bathrooms, that’s for sure. Food arrived and all seemed fine, until the middle of the night when two of us woke up with diarrhea and stomach cramps. No vomiting so far so probably not food poisoning but something is not right about this restaurant. Someone should ask for their health department certification and rating. Highly doubt they passed.

Really good Mexican food. It is reasonably priced with each plate being priced around 15 dollars. The ambiance is pretty hip so if you bring a date you can feel like you are going somewhere upscale without spending upscale money. Happy hour is the time to try their house margarita which is great on the rocks for only $5.

I visited with a group if work colleagues and we were all pleased with our food. The margaritas were super yummy, just a bit expensive. I got the carnita chili rellano and it didn't disappoint. The menu promised guacamole prepared at the table, which didn't happen. But it was still delectable nonetheless. Our server was abut slow to our liking. But, to his credit, we were all famished. So he probably wasn't as slow as it seemed at the time. AND, the soft tortilla chips are amazing!

This place is pretty great! The room itself is the centerpiece of the experience, with an impressive ceiling and decor that draws you in. The staff is friendly and attentive, with good mixed drinks and a fairly traditional menu. As great as it is, theres just some things missing. To begin with, they use paper napkins, which is odd for a DTLA resturant. The drinks were a little pricey for what they were (they were good, but not what they were charging for them). The menu was a little too stereotypical (I could get a lot of the menu at a corner taco stand for cheaper and probably better), and the food was nothing to get too excited about. Again, there is nothing really wrong with this place!! It just didnt wow me considering who their neighboring restaurants are.

This place is pretty fantastic. I love the atmosphere; upscale but not pretentious, with great food and solid cocktails. Also not terribly expensive either. Have dinner here and then head next door (you don't even have to step outside, it's that close) to Seven Grand for an after-dinner cocktail and you've got yourself a classy evening downtown.
