MASA

I asked someone at my Airbnb. “Where’s the best place to get a salad nearby” their answer was MASA. So I head out from my Airbnb on 109 walking to Massa. It only took me 10 minutes or so to get there. I had a salad called the Morrison salad. It was incredibly delicious. I am craving it again. I need to go back very soon and have another one of those salads. Actually I’ve been there twice now already so this will be the third time and I just keep going for that salad it’s so delicious. Very nice clean restaurant employers are great. Really enjoyed it.

Masa is 10/10 I recommend everything on the menu. My friend ordered the “steak sandwich” and I ordered the “Tartine de salmón” then for desert we ordered the “Torta Selva Negra” & “Tartaleta de pistacho” (actually didn’t like the pistacho) but the chocolate cake was 10000/10 soooo good omg

I found this place when I was walking from doing some errands near by. So I decided to stop and have a delicious specialty colombian coffee. what a nice surprise the bake goods and all the treats to die for, wow amazing, and they had specialty coffee made in the chemex, that I was excited to try. I have a coffee company so I have learn to drink complex coffee flavours, I have learn with my coffee farmers in Colombia and with my roaster and Q Grader specialist. So ordered my coffee and my treat. I wont give 5 STARS to the service, because it was super slow. I got to say, the staff is lovely, but they need some type of organization by areas, due to the place is quite big, so it looked like the staff was confused about who ordered what and when, so I noticed that, but I was not in a rush. When I got my coffee and treat made with AREQUIPE, I was in heaven. honestly, absolutely amazing place, the vibes incredible. The only thing I suggest to the owners is to have the staff trained and organized, so they will know who needs help ordering or serving in a timely manner. I went back few times after that with my husband and same issue, service slow, but it was absolutely amazing. I recommend this place for Colombians to learn how to drink a good coffee and to any tourist in our city. I will be back for sure.

Very poor breakfast experience. I had to find a waiter just to place my order, then look for cutlery when the food arrived. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was extremely slow. Guests were not allowed to use the outlets under the seats to charge their phones, with staff claiming they didn’t work—while they were charging their own laptops there. Overall, frustrating and unprofessional service.

I was visiting from the U.S. and wasn’t sure what to expect, but the photos on Google definitely drew me in. When I arrived, I stood at the entrance for a couple of minutes waiting to be acknowledged. No one came, so I didn’t feel comfortable seating myself. After about five minutes, I finally saw someone—who I later realized was the hostess—and asked if I could sit. She simply said I could sit anywhere and continued walking. After another six or seven minutes, a waiter arrived and took my order (pancakes with eggs over easy). Service was quite slow, but I will say the food was excellent and the coffee was very good. I returned the next day, hoping for a smoother experience. This time the hosts greeted us, but only pointed to where we should sit rather than walking us to the table. Once seated, we waited about ten minutes without being acknowledged. I eventually waved someone down. From start to finish, the server seemed very busy, somewhat inattentive, and not particularly warm. We had to repeat several requests, and the only time she smiled was when we paid and left. If gratuity hadn’t already been included, I likely would not have added anything further. Overall, the food is great, the restaurant is clean, service is horrible but the space has a stylish, upscale vibe. With improved attentiveness and consistency in service, this place could easily match the quality of its food and atmosphere.

The best scrambled eggs I have ever tried, so moist and fluffy. The sourdough bread and pastries are all very delicious! They have everything you need for a perfect brunch. Highly recommended. Jeisson was our server the first time I visited and he was amazing. Diego was my server the next day ( I had to go back again) and he was very attentive and so very patient with our large party. Thank you team MASA for the high quality products and service you provide on a daily basis. Keep up the excellent work!

I’ve gone to MASA in the morning after a workout to eat their scrambled eggs and their green smoothie. Best scrambled eggs and smoothie in the area. It’s also a good spot to get some work done if you’re working remotely, try their salads!
