Wow. Wow. That’s all I can say about this place. This place was very wonderful and an exciting environment to be in the service was hands-down. Amazing the food wow even better it don’t even get me started about these wonderful seats comfiest I’ve been in a while. I got the rebel burger And boy. Did it not disappoint. Best burger I’ve had in a while. I could tell you that much and the Coke was quite amazing. Very big glasses. I can appreciate that! And lastly, the price wow $20 for that meal. I’m shocked I’d pay 100 and there’s even a really cool chair in the front which you can take cool pictures if you’re a Tourist!

I had an amazing first experience here! The food was outstanding, particularly the fried pepperoni rolls, which were a standout. The burger was served hot and was incredibly tasty, and the meatloaf paired with mashed potatoes was spot on. Our server, Rolando, provided exceptional service throughout our visit. I will absolutely be returning!

First time at Mash'D did NOT disappoint! Scrumptious and atmospheric food (pictured: water, blackberry mimosa, coffee / The Sweet Bastard / TX Kobe Cheeseburger Omelet). Our server, John, was incredibly attentive and kind. He made sure everything was refilled and the experience was smooth. Can't wait to return next time we're in SA!

The food was absolutely delicious!! But service was poor...our server was new and his trainer had little to no patience for him. I will admit that my friend and I were talking quite a bit but we never received a drink refill for our entire meal and when it had looked like we were done with our meal, our server brought us the check but his trainer stood at the table and waited for us to pull out our cards and completed the transactions and shoved the device in my face for tip rather than putting it down on the table so I could actually look at it. The staff seemed to be 'rushing' their guests with cold attitudes. I dont think our server is a good fit for this establishment because he didn't match the negative energy that the other girls were giving. Its unfortunate because from our table, they weren't that busy. I understand having a rough day, but I also know customer service is everything. Bartender seemed to be having a good time, though, so Kudos! The food was good, but I probably would not be coming back.

Great food and service, including our sweet server, Hope! And yes, Hope cleaned up after receiving kisses from Winnie. It was so nice to find a place that was pet friendly and had great food. We will go again when back in San Antonio at the Rim. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

We came to San Antonio for an event...wanted to try a nice place within the area. This place is delicious - the brunch entrees were amazing. The French toast, the scramble, and the turkey burger was great. Our server (TJ) did an excellent job as well...Next time we are in San Antonio, we are definitely heading back!

We enjoyed our dinner. The staff was very attentive and we were sat very quickly. The service was a little slow but we didn’t mind. Our server was very kind and pleasant. The only negative was appetizer coming out with the main course. The food and drinks were good.

Nice atmosphere. Location is great! Staff very professional. Manager came over to table and asked how everything was! Recommended an item for the meal we had! Food was off the chain (SO GOOD)!!!! We will definitely, definitely be going back to that place! Highly recommend it!

I mean, there's nothing much more to say about this amazing place. The food is just wonderful. It's one of the best things I put in my big mouth, but the service don't get me started. It's even better. Our waiter was so fast so clear in the head she knew exactly what we wanted. If you want amazing food, amazing service and just an amazing time. This is the place you want to come! PS get a Uber home!

My friends and I were celebrating two birthdays within our friend circle. We decided to come to get brunch at Mash'd. we arrived and were promptly seated for our reservation. We ordered three carafes of mimosas. We chose blackberry, peach, and orange. Those mimosas were strong but tasty. I ordered the avocado 'toast' with two over easy eggs. We then ordered the cheese burger omelette, the sweet bastard, the unholy one, and sides. I absolutely loved the avocado toast, best thing I have had in a while. The food not only looked good but tasted great! We did share and swapped bites. The French toast was nice and fluffy. The whipped cream was fresh and sweet. Our party was both satisfied and thrilled with our experience. Our server was attentive and did check on us often despite the place being busy. Our server was extremely patient with our guests and their changes to their meals. Definitely would recommend and will be coming back again.

I came here with some friends to celebrate a birthday and heard good things about this place. It was very nice and clean with good ambiance. We were seated fairly quickly and were served drinks soon after. Our waitress was very attentive and made sure we had everything needed. Even the manager walked by a few times to help us get drinks and was very friendly. Great service for sure. We ordered a few appetizers like chips and queso. The chips were made fresh and delicious. The cheese was good too and had some jalapeño bits in it (wish it was a bit spicy but still tasted good). We also ordered tomato smash breakfast potatoes which were so good. The potatoes were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. Wish could have had more of these. I ordered a blackberry Mimosa and was very good. I actually prefer it over the orange juice. My meal was called The Sweet Bastard and was good. The French toast was fluffy and liked the cream cheese on top. I did think it was alot of cream cheese but otherwise would get this again. My friend ordered the avocado toast and I really liked her bread (it was a pizza dough they used and bread was fluffy). My other friend ordered Bonfire Benediot and it did look good. I believe the bread was the same as the avocado toast and the eggs looked really good on top. All of our meals looked and tasted really good along with good service overall. I would absolutely come back to eat here and recommend anyone to come try.

First and last time here. I came with a group of friends to enjoy a chill night out, and honestly, the food and atmosphere were great, no complaints there. What completely ruined the experience, though, was the behavior of our waitress. From the start, she was cold and noticeably rude, which we didn't take too personally at first. As teenagers, we've unfortunately come to expect that kind of treatment sometimes, even though it shouldn't be the case. What truly crossed the line was what happened as we were leaving. I had forgotten my glasses, so I walked back to grab them. The waitress approached me, handed them over, and sarcastically said, "Thanks for the no tip," while giving me a double thumbs up. Completely unprovoked, passive-aggressive, and wildly unprofessional. We spoke to the manager, who was respectful and apologetic, we appreciate how he handled it. But the interaction with the waitress was unnecessary and disappointing. Yes, we're teenagers, but we also work. We understand service jobs, and we do tip, when it's within our budget. That night just wasn't one of those times. We won't be returning. A great atmosphere doesn't make up for being disrespected for simply not being able to tip one time.

First timers, came @ lunch on a weds. Got offered both booths & table, plenty of seating. Originally, I was going to give a 3-4/5 for "The Bird" sandwich but the service and staff were so kind that I could not take that into account. Read for more. Drinks: We weren't feeling for alch so we opted for the sweet tea, waters, Watermelon Cooler, & the Moscow Virgin. All delicious. App: Order the Spinach & Corn Queso! So good. Honorable mention: ask for the house ketchup! Garlic lovers, you will love this. Entrees: Wife ordered the Rebel Burger. Heftier than expected! It was really good. Here's where it was a big miss for me. "The Bird." Bun and lettuce were soggy. The chicken and breading slipped apart the moment I picked it up. I tried to save it by cutting it in half. Made things worse. Now with that said, the staff were very kind/helpful. They tried to fix things but I was already halfway done & did not want to try & get another one made so if they see this, I apologize if I came off rude! Just had really good expectations & was excited to try it. I just hope they take this experience into consideration to making it even better for another customer. Overall, we loved our time here. We will definitely be back.

A pretty nice eatery. After hearing about this place from two of my family members, I finally decided to go. The place was pretty sleek and the servers were very kind and attentive, but the dinner menu looked a little uninspired. It covered the basic 'safe' options you can expect to find on menus anywhere else with only a couple of interesting choices to pick from. I ended up ordering a Blackberry Lemonade and the Bulgogi Tacos. The Lemonade was refreshing but there were too many blackberry seeds floating around and at the bottom of the glass; I had to chew with every sip. The Tacos were a mixed bag. The beef and bulgogi sauce were exceptional and I really enjoyed the corn tortillas, but there were too many veggies on it and not enough beef. They absolutely skimped out on the beef, and it felt like I was eating a salad instead of eating the tacos I ordered. One of the people I went with ordered the Bulgogi Tacos as well and had the same complaint. If nothing else, the rice was super yummy and the OG Pizza leftovers I got to try later were pretty good. Mash'D was good but maybe not as good as it was hyped it up to be. I've read that their brunch is where it's at, so I'd like to return to give it another shot.

Nice American diner with standard fare! It was almost empty on a weekday night. I got the virgin mojito and pan roasted salmon, they both were delicious! However, they didn't have a good selection of desserts, which is a bit disappointing but overall, 5 stars!

Visited twice for brunch. First visit in October and amazing all around. Good service, food, drinks and manager stopped and was checking on all the tables. Second visit, hostess was absolutely rude. The patio and tables were wet so we asked for a towel and she said uh for what, followed by I suppose. She didn't return so we used the napkins. She say the table next to us and they also asked for a towel, she said ummm & looked around. One of them used her sweater to wipe the seats off and the hostess promptly walked away. Server was great, food was good but it was hard to get pay the hostess and the manager just standing to side of bar area not checking on customers..

Everything is wonderful at Mash'D. What caught my eye when looking for a restaurant in the area was "The Original Culinary Bastards." It only got better from there with drinks such as "Cougar Bait" and "Text My Ex Sangria." With food it was "WTF Tacos" and "Avocado Bomb Salad." There are so many more clever food and drink titles that you will have to go see for yourself. Traveling from McAllen, TX, & we will be sure to return!! Everything is freshly made, including bread. Unique ingredients in menu items, well furnished, and service is outstanding. Goooo!

This place is wonderful! Visited for happy hour although we just missed it. It's a loveliest establishment plenty of room with a great outdoor barn patio. Our server was the friendliest, most knowledgeable person ever. We started out with some delicious drinks upon his recommendation as well as an appetizer before we moved onto our delicious entrees. Everything was flavored well. My chicken sandwich was delicious and my salad was fresh and crispy. Can't wait to visit again.

Our service and server were great and I definitely enjoyed the ambiance. We ordered the avocado toast pizza, French fries, and mashed potatoes. I must say, it was all delicious. The fries were seasoned just how I like. There was definitely a mosquito problem inside the restaurant. I killed 5 mosquitos while sitting in the booth, and my fiancée was bit twice on the hand. We were a little upset, but the manager came by, fixed the situation, and made sure we enjoyed our meal. We would come here again.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I had to give credit where it's due. I came in for a dinner date -- someone I'd been excited (and honestly, a little nervous) to get to know better. First dates can be awkward, but Alicia made sure it wasn't. From the moment we sat down, she struck the perfect balance between being friendly, professional, and genuinely thoughtful. She picked up on the nerves right away and found ways to ease the tension with a few well-timed laughs, smooth conversation, and just the right amount of check-ins. It felt like she was quietly rooting for me the whole time -- and somehow, that made all the difference. It wasn't over-the-top or forced -- just good energy, great service, and a natural sense for reading the room. She helped set the tone for a night that ended up being way more special than I expected. The food was great, the atmosphere was just right, but what really stood out was Alicia. She elevated the whole experience without ever making it about herself. Just a genuinely kind person who clearly loves what she does. Thanks to her, that date turned into something a lot more. I'll definitely be back -- and I'll definitely be asking for Alicia.

Wow did we have a good time at Mash D. Top notch service from everyone in the place. We sat at the end of the bar so we interacted with almost everyone. The food was good, we had fried pepperoni (tasted fantastic) and a "Detroit style Pizza". Now I am from Detroit and once worked at one of the three founding places for Detroit style pizza and was a personal friend of the founder of the next generation Detroit style pizzas (Jets). The pizza was good, the dough was somewhat fluffier than the originals but very tasty. The restaurant itself was very nice, clean, well laid out with inflator and outdoor seating. Well done Mashed D, well done indeed.

Think upscale brunch and booze. This place had very relaxed vibes and unique dishes that were so satisfying and beautifully presented as well. The service was nice too. I got the Tater Eggsplosion which was sooo tasty but get ready to take a fat nap afterward!

The food was trash, straight up the first time I've ever had to send a whole meal back to the kitchen. The chips and queso had a burned brown chips that were hard to crunch. I did not get a photo but the chicken sandwich came soaked in grease where it was dripping on the plate and completely soaked the bottom bun as well. The chicken was obviously soaked in grease and some sweet and spicy glaze, the texture reminded me of a high school lunch. My girlfriend could barely finish her food, the manager told us that all burgers come out as medium well but that burger was just straight up rare or medium rare. The manager did nothing to give us peace of mind by telling us they started monitoring the food AFTER we sent back the chicken sandwich came soaked. I spent $40 on food that sucked. There are too many better places nearby with better food to go here, don't waste your money or time.

My partner and I went to go have lunch and try something new so we decided to stop by here , well we got seated and sat for 15 min-20 min without anyone approaching us for drinks or to welcome us . We decided to leave and as we walk out all the servers / staff were just standing around in the front . Don't recommend going anywhere near this place .

What a wonderful experience I had coming to Mash'd . I was in the area and was wonderfully greeted at the door, sat at the bar and the bartender Russ was top notch ! He has a bountiful knowledge when it came to drinks, even asked the occasion or if I was just here for the vibes , let me tell you the vibes were it !! I ended up transitioning to a table when my party came here , and we were served by Alicia ! She had such a wonderful attitude and guided me on the menu since there had been some changes since I last had been here . She had recommendations for the appetizers, we got the queso and dined until almost close . I cannot get over how wonderful she was and the impact she had on our experience . If you come to Mashd ask for Alicia!!!!

Dined in the other night and Alicia was amazing! Our refills and drink suggestions were on point, her recommendations were fantastic and her bubbly personality was contagious. Will be returning!

Sunday, March 30, 2025 If you're in a wheelchair, Mash'd DOES NOT WANT YOUR BUSINESS!!!! ZERO SEATING OPTIONS FOR THOSE IN A WHEELCHAIR! After months of wanting to try this place, my husband and I finally made a reservation (just in case it was busy). Showed up excited to try the food and mimosas only to be told the only seating option was a booth or high top table. So we were forced to leave as I am in a wheelchair and need to be able to roll up to a table. What an embarrassing and discriminatory experience. Update on owner's response: It would've been nice if the hostess had told us that some of the tables could be lowered. However, she couldn't be bothered and was perfectly fine with us leaving.

Really good brunch food! I loved the chicken and biscuits especially the gravy that came with it. The bonfire benedict was good as well and I liked the garlic bread better than the biscuits from the chicken and biscuits. I would probably order the bonfire benedict next time if I can get the gravy with it. The cream cheese butter on the sweet bastard was a bit too sweet, but I can't say we weren't warned. You can easily take it off though and put as much as you want on. They seated us quickly and were really nice. The inside was large and didn't feel too crowded. The food is heavier than most brunch places but it is my go to!

Came in on a Tuesday evening and it was not very busy. The place is chill inside, as not much was going on and the music was quiet. We started with some drinks - unfortunately they didn't have draft beer due to some equipment issues but stuff happens. For an appetizer we got the Hail Cheesus Queso - the portion was big for a small and we did not finish it with 2 people. The queso itself had a nice mix of ingredients and tasted good, although the beef was a little too salty. For an entrée, i got the other chick. I was impressed with the quality of the fry of the chicken and loved the hot honey mustard sauce - seriously was thinking about this even after i left the restaurant. The fry's were good but nothing crazy. The staff was accommodating and helpful with recommendations. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here but i'd come back if i was in the area and was looking for a place to eat.

Terrible. Waited forever and once we received our order one plate was completely cold, the second plate was missing half the chicken or the chicken was emaciated, the third plate came 20 minutes after the other two plates had been delivered. Upon using the RR to wash my hands, RR was in need of attention with paper products needing to be refilled. Service overall was poor as server seemed inattentive.

Had seen this place in passing a bunch of times but nothing caught my attention to stop. And I honestly can say I regret not stopping before tonight!! Everything from the cocktails to the last bite of my salmon was AMAZING. Service was exceptional, our server was very informative helping my boyfriend and I pick the right drink. Pairing my entree with the very delicious avocado chimichurri!! We made it a goal to try new places for date nights, and we will definitely be returning!!

I remember when this place first opened and they had a lot of moonshine drinks. Now they are down to just a couple. Not sure why-----I think that was part of the fun in going and trying drinks you couldn't find anywhere else. Their food is good - they have a good brunch menu on the weekend.

Decent/upscale bar food! The wings are delicious! And the chicken sandwich, I love that you have options for the temperature and style of the chicken!

I was very pleased with my time at Mash'D. From the moment I entered the building I felt like I was home. The food was very very delicious and it came out in a swift manner. Our waitress was very attentive and refilled our drinks frequently. The music was groovy and at a good volume. 10/10 experience

I set up a reservation for Sunday brunch once we arrived we still had to wait almost 20 minutes to be seated. I didn't understand why set up a reservation when you have to wait anyways. However once seated the server was AMAZING!! So the thought of waiting to be seated was well worth it. Everyone in my party enjoyed their dish! Great ambiance, causal, family friendly.

Great food and drinks. Have yet to have bad service after years of eating there. The decor is cool and the only issue I've ever seen is that some people misjudge how strong some of the drinks are and that leads issues the restaurant has to deal with.

Came here for brunch with some friends. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and the mimosa specials. I was not really a fan of the food. The eggs on my food did not taste nor look like eggs. I thought the eggs were imitation eggs but when I brought it up to the waiter he stated they were real eggs... i don't think I would come back for brunch. Maybe lunch/dinner menu is a little better.

Amazing eats, you might want to share, the dishes are bigger than you think! Treat your Mama to an amazing mimosa carafe and skip the glass, all you need is a straw! The service was phenomenal & the ambience pleasant. A great place to bring the fam for brunch after church!

I LOVE this place! Everything on the menu is so good and comes out very quickly. The drinks are so well made. My bartender, Addie, made me feel welcomed and didn't let a single question go unanswered. I will be coming back any chance I get!!

Hands down the best Ribs I've had at a restaurant! The meat literally fell off the bone and the moonshine BBQ sauce they were cooked in was freaking amazing! My dish came with a house slaw and mash'd Tators which was also very delicious. My dish was very flavorful! The service ah...it was okay. The waiter was very hard to hear he spoke very low which was kind of annoying, but our food was all great so honestly it didn't bother me. This restaurant had soft lighting with a nice artistic vibe going on! I would definitely come back when visiting San Antonio for sure!

First of all, the ambience was very nice and cool! Even the dining areas were pretty nice. This was our first time visiting the restaurant and I must say I will be back again. The server was OK but could be better but it didn't deter us from enjoying our evening as we were celebrating my sister-in-law's birthday. Usually when I go to a restaurant for the first time I try to figure out what's the best item to eat according to my taste buds and I wasn't sure what I really wanted to eat because I only had breakfast early in the morning and now it was late evening. So my wife had ordered wings already and when I got there. I ordered late and got something with ribs mashed potatoes, and broccoli. Well the wings with the hot honey were really tasty and I just started to order more wings but at the ribs coming out. They do have flavored lemonades and I got the pineapple strawberry lemonade now there are no refills, but it was really good. Then my entrée came out as well as my wife and her french fries were outstanding. I could've just ate those all night but the real plate even with the moonshine sauce barbecue sauce rather was tasty and good as well. I must say I will be back just to double check if it's still really worth it.

Southern flare type of restaurant located in La Cantera next across from General Public. The service is good and we didn't have to wait too long for our food. We ordered a variety of things so that we could try out the menu. Started with the queso, which was a big hit for the table. I ordered the bootleg ribs, friends ordered the chicken and biscuits, a specialty burger and I cannot remember the last dish. The ribs had a nice kick and we're very tender. The chicken and biscuits were tasty also. My friend's burger had a lot of cheese on it. Dare I say toi much?? I never thought I would hear someone say those words but it happened. We didn't order any dessert because the portions are very large and we were quite full. The only real gripe I have is the lack of sweet tea . I just expect southern restaurants that serve something like moonshine to have that available.

First and last time here. We came for Mother's Day. Made a reservation and when one part of the party checked in they were told there would be a 20 minute wait. And they would seat us before the walk-ins. But when a second part of our party checked in 5 minutes later they sat us. Our waiter seemed like he hated his job! We ordered a mimosa carafe. The first drink he poured out was into a dirty glass. The second one has something floating in it! We had the Bloody Mary off the brunch menu and it was super weak. All of the food was just ok. Nothing we had to have again. We sat outside and it was pleasant. The food was hit or miss. Some plates were ok. Some plates were lacking flavor.

Out of all the food we tried, I really only enjoyed the buffalo chicken sandwich. My friends ordered the spicy baby back sandwich and said it was too sweet for their liking. And my other friend ordered the bulgogi tacos and it was really skimpy on the meat! And I have to add that as much as I love French fries in general, the shoe string type just doesn't do it for me + their fries were extra soggy and chewy. To top it off, our server was not attentive, and checked on us maybe once after we've been waiting for the check. But Mash'd is in a good location and it's very pretty inside with a decent outside patio area to enjoy the beautiful weather but the music was way too loud for us to even enjoy a conversation.

Our server is super friendly and nice! However the food quality is not up to standard.. we both ordered fried chicken dishes and the chicken is very dry. I ordered the cajun fried chicken pasta and I couldn't taste any cajun flavor at all. Also, as the picture shown, it's just a whole bunch of American cheese on top that is very heavy on the pasta... the only thing we enjoyed was the mashed potato.. food is cheap in price but it does not taste good at all..

The French Toast was very good, but they placed a sauce on the potatoes that had to go not sure what it is but it ruined it for me. The service is not that good, we needed condiments and had to wait forever for server to check on us. When we received the check he stretched from service area to put on the table instead of walking to table and placing it. Been there done that not going back.

Food was delicious! I had the Cesar buffalo chicken salad. Made reservations the day before n they were filled as soon as I walked in. I requested if possible if they could adjust the table to a counter height table. As soon as I walked in they were adjusting the table. Service was exceptional. 10/10 I would recommend. Ambiance was great.
