Allahu ahkbar! What an awesome place and an incredible community! The atmosphere is always warm, welcoming, and peaceful. How refreshing to meet such genuine people!

Google
They don't Pray the Sunnah, Feet Apart/No touching, The Doors are sometimes Locked which isn't appropriate for a Masjid, Their bio doesn't mention the prophet muhammad sallalahu alayhi wassalam or Allah Subhana Wata'ala, but mention they do things with the Kafrs i.e. Christians and Jews subhanallah they also hand out "CLEAR QUR'AN" which is a corrupt translation that alters the attributes and features of Allah

They gatekeep like crazy. They are very uptight and only want Muslims from their specific sect. If you so much as pray wrong, you will be pointed out and publicly shamed. Very hostile community. There's other Islamic places of worship in Atlanta that actually welcome you and treat you with respect unlike this place.

Stopped by for iftar at this masjid for the first time. I’m new to the area, so I wanted to check it out. The masjid itself is beautiful and clean. The community, however, is downright atrocious. These ladies act like they own the place.. I overheard a young girl who said she wanted to use the bathroom in the house where they were doing iftar and this older lady told her she’s not allowed and kicked her out???? Ridiculous if you ask me. They’re not paying rent so I don’t understand why it’s such a big deal to permit someone to use the bathroom. If this place truly belongs to the community, they wouldn’t turn down a girl needing to use the bathroom. Also, I know there is a bathroom in the masjid itself, but if there is one right by you, why would you walk farther away to get to one?? If this place truly belongs to the community, then why do these ladies act like bullies who own the place and make ridiculous rules?? Also the ladies that were putting food in everyone’s plates had such terrible negative energy. They were also sneaking to go boxes of food for themselves. There was also additional food in the kitchen which they didn’t bring out. I saw a small girl in the line who was shouted at by a different lady and she forced this CHILD to go to the back of the line??? AND THEN this same lady let her friend go to the front of the line, her friend being a full grown LADY!!! & mind you this was after a large lady said “children and elderly first”. Why would you kick a CHILD to the back of the line. I felt so sorry and hurt after witnessing that. I even looked over at the men’s side and everything was calm and orderly, nice and quiet, no ruckus..why can’t the women’s side be the same?? I felt like I was at a market in a third world country listening to the shouts of merchants. No exaggeration. There’s no politeness, just greed. Farm animals behave better than the women’s side. I don’t feel the essence of Islam near these women at all. It’s safer and better to stay at home. This was my first time, and last time here. If the community didn’t feel so boisterous, it would be better. The ladies need to do to tobah and act more civilized. Astaghfirullah.

as a local of this community, i appreciate the effort of the amazing volunteers we have here! there’s always plenty of food already ready on the tables for us to break our fast and i think it’s important to acknowledge these ladies that take time out of their own iftar to serve others :) may allah bless these hardworking individuals 🙏

I’m doing 2 stars bc they took my 1 star review down from last year, but I should do 0 stars. Just so everyone knows, 80% of these reviews are fake and the other 20% are people who have perhaps gone to pray here but have not mingled with the community. The masjid itself is nice and well taken care of but the ladies side….no words Last year, I stopped coming here because of the rude disgusting and greedy ladies that run the show. My review from last Ramadan was hidden or something I guess. I came again this Ramadan & for the first time this year, hoping things have changed but they have only gotten worse. Little did I know what I was walking into…. By the way, I thought the masjid was a place where everyone is welcomed and everyone gets together and is kind to each other - But it doesn’t seem like it…Islamically this is no way to act and this is why I’m doing my part. Firstly. They should HIRE people to serve the food. For example professional caterers or hardworking Mexicans or something. Not the greedy masjid ladies who are EXTREMELY GREEDY AND CRUEL. Some ladies gossip and get mad at some kids that were saving seats on THEIR TABLE for their family…why is it a problem if a family wants to sit together one one table for iftar? Is this high school? When it came to food serving time, it looked like a charity begging place where the ladies throw the food in your plate in anger Astaghfirullah…the ladies in the line WILL PUSH YOU TOO. BAD. And the ladies serving the food act so entitled and very greedy serving it. They throw food in your plates, and they even throw it on top of hands and spill it on you. It happened to this girl next to me and poor thing was so put off she wanted to put her whole plate down because she felt all of the negative energy in her food. The servers did not care at all or even apologize and yes, it was their fault. Can you believe this all in Ramadan? They serve food better in prison Astaghfirullah. The ladies only treat their little group fine, and everyone else they treat like..well u know what. I say this because on one side they’re being rude to people they’re not really acquainted with, and on the other side they bring out their friends a plate of food and even a box of PACKED food for them while the rest of the line is still waiting to be served. I left halfway because of all this chaos. I couldn’t bear it anymore. And I won’t be coming back.

Yelp
New to the area, I came here for Friday prayer. It is a nice and new mosque with a playroom for kids in the ladies section! The men's section was quite full but women's side was about half full so it was comfortable. As we got out of the prayer area, someone was selling biryani which saved us because god we were so hungry. There is also an outdoor playground for kids, you can't beat that! I will definitely be back, inshallah.
