The 38 Best Restaurants in Cleveland, Ohio | Eater

"What started as a roving cart at a farmers market scooping novelty flavors has blossomed into a decade of smiles at a shop in a quiet corner of Ohio City. The walk-through dessert shop (there’s no indoor seating area) offers small-batch ice cream in delicious and often surprising flavors. Mason’s was early among Cleveland food businesses to trumpet the joys of ube (purple yam), which it serves alongside creations like olive oil cake, tres leches, salted caramel miso, and pawpaw. To boost the fun factor, customers can receive their ice cream in eggy bubble waffles. Know before you go: In winter, the owners swap out most (but not all) of the ice cream for bowls of exceptional tonkotsu ramen, which diners can take home or slurp in a makeshift al fresco dining room." - Douglas Trattner

Google
Been wanting to try this place for a while and it did not disappoint!! Got the half cheese/half hot dog Korean corn dogs and they were delightful! But the waffle ice cream concoctions were truly amazing, the waffles were so flavorful and fluffy and the ice creams were 10/10!! We will be back for sure! Also extra points for extremely helpful and friendly staff!

Google
The ice cream here is unique and packed with flavor. The Ube and Earl Grey flavors are something you will not encounter anywhere else. This is in the middle of a bunch of houses in a place you would not expect, but it is one of the more interesting ice cream places. There is only street parking here. There is also only outdoor seating. Because of this, they really only serve ice cream during the summer.

Google
Absolutely delicious! We came as a party of 12 everything was quick and efficient, friendly service and a clean establishment. They had a station outside for water and even a water bowl for dogs. Plenty of shaded places to sit and a clean Porto John outback. The cookies and cream was fabulous, several members got the sorbet and loved it. The waffle cones were also a group favorite.

Google
What an absolutely adorable place to have ice cream in the summer with a great outdoor area to sit and enjoy your ice cream. They're giving Honey Hut a run for their money. 😬 Get the honey cornbread ice cream!! It's everything you imagine it to be but better.

Google
I got the banana bread split. The ice cream was appealing to the eye. I thought the butter pecan was too salty, the chocolate kind of tasted bland. There was a lot of whip cream and the banana bread was not what I expected banana bread to taste like. 3 stars for the service and for the look. But the taste wasn’t worth it.

Google
Unique flavors, very creamy ice cream. Well done with the creativity and homemade waffle cones. Ice cream is just a little too creamy for my liking so it gets 4 stars. I ended up getting peach and orange pineapple. Wild rabbit flavor is a good vanilla tasting option as well

Google
Nice little ice cream shop. I especially loved its quirky displays. Ice cream was also great. We tried many different flavours and loved them all.

Google
This is by far the best ice cream spot in Cleveland. They have so many unique flavors that there's bound to be something for everyone. They have plenty of vegan and gluten-free options as well. They have some of the best workers I've ever met. They're all very kind, patient, and helpful. I came in recently on a slower day and we talked like instant friends. After we ate our icecream and food, we found our car battery was dead. As we waited for a jump from our insurance, we went back inside to get more icecream, and one of the workers said she had a set of jumper cables in her car if we wanted her help. I'm always amazed by the kindness of the workers here and leave feeling happy! The food is also delicious. I love the egg waffles, and the ube ice cream is a must to at least try. I've tried ube ice cream from stores but it is not as good as Mason's. Their Korean corn dogs and newly added fries are also delicious! I recommend the potato topping and buldak yum yum sauce. I love that they also collaborate with local businesses occasionally for items on the menu. Overall, I recommend this shop for anyone who loves ice cream or good food. It's a little pricy, at least to me, but is absolutely worth it.

Yelp
It's a retro looking shop in a residential neighborhood. The line and the offerings are both ample on a good day, and I waited for a bubble waffle. The flavors are distinctive-one I was hoping for they were out of but I ended up with some interesting malted chocolate and something banana-based. A few non-dairy frozen desserts were available. The waffle browned nicely and made a great combination with ice cream from top to bottom. There was outdoor seating with a porta-potty set up and a water cooler that was empty, so bear in mind the limitations of the setting, but on a nice day this was clearly the place to be.

Yelp
This is a really great little creamery/ice cream stand in Ohio City. I came here on a whim because I walk my dog by the place almost every day. I finally decided to pop in. Don't let long lines deter you from going it, it moves very quickly. The ice cream is very good. Very creamy and very filling. The first time I went I bought a single scoop. The second time I went, I bought a double scoop and it was almost too much! I purchased a butterscotch vanilla ice cream in one of their hand-rolled cones. Just delicious. Must have been a wonderfully high fat content (I mean that in a good way) because it filled you up fast and held lots of flavor. The only downside to this place are the weird, offbeat flavors that constantly change. Guys, all of that is lovely and sweet, but can you please just have a regular cache of standard flavors for the less adventurous? The cones are wonderfully rolled by hand and very crunchy and sweet. Goes perfectly with the "buttery" feel of the ice cream.

Yelp
Visited Mason's Creamery today to try their ice cream. To my surprise, they offer affogato, which is traditionally made with Italian ice cream and Italian espresso. To my dismay, they don't use Italian ice cream or Italian espresso. But it was still pretty tasty. They do need to improve the presentation because it was just vanilla ice cream floating in a bowl of espresso. I also had one scoop of ice cream in a bowl and it was tasty. Good stuff!

Yelp
Mason's Creamery is a Cleveland's classic that I only visited years after living in CLE. It's definitely a summer place to be (day or late night) where you can meet up with friends and family, bring your dog, and hang out on the patio. This place is consistently lively! Food: The menu features ice cream, affogato, and sorbet. You can order your favorite ice cream in a cup, cone or ice cream sandwich. New seasonal flavors are posted on chalk boards outside. You can also order Korean hot dogs! In colder months, Mason's Creamery switches to their ramen menu (watch their social media). It's so cool to associate this place with your warmest and coldest moments. You can order at a small shop inside or at the takeout window (samples available). I ordered forest berry sorbet in a waffle cone ($7). Sorbet was good, but a little watery. I usually go for sweeter flavors. Cone was sugary and delicious! Easily the best cone I've tasted locally! Service: Service was very quick and pretty pleasant. The line moved fast. Seating: Plenty of covered and uncovered seating is available outside. There are tables and benches to accommodate all kinds of groups or solo visitors. There are also cool string lights in the evening that add to the whole vibe. No indoor seating is available, just patio. Parking: No onsite parking is available, park on the street. Ohio City is a challenging parking destination but it's well worth. I'll try other ice cream and sorbet flavors next time. I also really want to try their ramen! I've heard so much about it!

Yelp
This place knows what they are doing. It's always busy. They don't always have flavors I love. I wish they had a few more traditional ones. I love that Bubble Waffles, which you have to order at the register. Then they give you a pager that will beep when ready and you pick it up at the outside window. The Waffle is wonderful. Fluffy and has a slight maple syrup flavor. The Maple Bacon flavor is great as was the White Rabbit. The Peach didn't taste much like Peach. I really appreciate a place that makes their own whipped cream as opposed to the kind in a can with terrible ingredients.
google avatar

Yelp
The bubble waffle is very soft and melts in your mouth. The ice cream and waffle combo is a must!

Yelp
Cool little ice cream shop. We stopped by on a recommendation from a friend. Glad we poked in. That I saw, they have a handful of food choices and about a dozen different ice cream flavors. I could pass on the Captain Crunch ice cream, which was spot on to the cereal. I also tasted my son's Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream...same deal, spot on to the cereal. What's nice is that they have outdoor seating that can accommodate quite a few folks. They also move the line fast, so there isn't much of a wait. Mason's made for a great nightcap dessert. Cheers!

Yelp
Cute spot with ample outdoor seating and a fun atmosphere. The ice cream was phenomenal. I got the cookies & cream which was stuffed with cookies and the honey cornbread that I'm still thinking about. An unexpected flavor with large chunks of moist cornbread. The also have bubble cones which looked and smelled amazing (next time!) Small is 2 scoops $6 Medium is 3 scoops $7 Milkshakes are 4 scoops $8

Yelp
I know this place is highly recommended but I was a tad disappointed. I got the drumstick flavor, it was pretty good, but the waffle cone mix in was just soggy which was disappointing. My husband got the guava pastry and enjoyed it but everything got soupy so fast. Masons was good but not great, for me. I like seeing the unique flavors but it just wasn't my favorite.

Yelp
We stopped by Mason's on a whim on a Saturday night. Naturally, there was a line right out the door but it moved quickly. Lots of street parking although we didn't see a designated lot. They have the cutest outdoor seating options with lights strung up. We opted to walk around while we ate but it looks like a great gathering spot for friends or to take a date. They have both dairy and vegan ice cream options. Flavors were very unique. I opted for Butterfinger and Strawberries & Cream. My husband had Butterfinger and White Rabbit Candy. We both got smalls which were very generous 2-scoop servings for $6 each. The value is great. Everything was delicious and they allow you two free samples to try before you buy. We will definitely come back - it's nice to have an alternate option to Mitchell's when we're in Cleveland.
google avatar

Brian W.

Yelp
Delicious ice cream and tons of outdoor seating, including plenty of covered areas. Flavors change regularly, the apple pie was a bit intensely sweet, while the twinkle was interesting and tasty, exactly as you'd expect a Twinkie mixed into vanilla ice cream to be. Inside is small, the line moves at a good clip so even if it spills out the door and onto the sidewalk I wouldn't stress. They have delicious looking fancier options (egg waffle cone, root beer float, etc.) but we skipped those as do take longer, and we had our priorities - the generous scoops of ice cream in waffle cones!
google avatar

Abeer H.

Yelp
The flavors of ice-cream are very different. The ice cream it self is very soft. They have outdoor seating. The restroom is outside in outhouse. The service is 5/5 they are super nice and welcoming.
google avatar

Natalya K.

Yelp
The storefront is pretty small and sparsely decorated. There is a seating area but it's limited. I do appreciate that it's covered for the rainy days and winter months when they serve ramen. Street parking only. The service is great, from the moment you get to the counter the employees are ready with spoons to offer tastes, which is perfect because they change the flavors so often (posted daily on their instagram story!) there is always something new to try. I love the small batch approach with a variety of unique flavors, as well as offering two small scoops rather than one large one so you can try more flavors. However, the ice cream is less flavorful compared to the nearby Mitchell's (or Jeni's, a personal favorite, if you're willing to drive to Chagrin Falls). I would return, though, if they have a new flavor that catches my eye. And I would love to try the ramen sometime!

Yelp
QUICK REVIEW (if you don't want to read the long review below): Quaint Ohio City neighbourhood ice-cream shop owned by husband and wife couple, Jesse Mason and Helen Qin. Serving up unique flavoured ice-creams from cardamon to ube along with Korean-style corn dogs all year round plus ramen in the winter months. Owners moved from Los Angeles, CA to Cleveland, Ohio in 2013 and local Clevelanders like myself are happy they did. LONG REVIEW: ** 5/5 stars for their tasty ice-cream** (I'll update it once I try their ramen and winter menu) I've been to Mason's Creamery approximately 8 times or more. I visited recently in August 2024 for a friend's going-away gathering before she moved back home to Houston, Texas. ORDERING -- outside at the booth or inside. It's a very small ice-shop but if you're new, I suggest ordering inside where you can see the full menu and ask questions. Their limited ice-cream menu is also posted outside. SEATING -- Patio-style. They have chairs all outside the ice-cream shop including a section at the back with about 3-4 tables. For my friend's going-away social, we (about 6 of us) sat at one of the tables/chairs at the back. There is no inside seating. ICE-CREAMS -- I got the small Cardamon flavour in a cup ($6). It was such a light and airy ice-cream yet filled with flavour. They sell ube, strawberry, chocolate, and much more flavours. They also have some seasonal or temporary flavours that appear once in a while. You can get ice-cream in a cup, cone, waffle, or in a cookie as an ice-cream sandwich. Since they produce small-batch ice-cream, they may run out of certain flavours during the day although that's never happened to me when I've visited. KOREAN CORN DOGS ($6 - $7) -- Choose from beef, cheese, vegan, or half and half (half cheese and half beef). As someone who prefers to eat healthy 95% of the time, I surprised myself by ordering a beef corn dog topped with potato during my August 2024 visit. Yea, it isn't the healthiest food in the world but it was so delicious. I got the yum-yum sauce on If you know me, I almost never eat corn dogs or beef hamburgers but my friend Naila persuaded me to get one as everyone was leaving. I remember eating hot dogs all the time when I was younger but little did I know that years later, Korean Corn Dogs would be a popular development (haha). I ate my potato topped beef corn dog in pure happiness in-between helping my friend move and pack up her apartment, along with the cardamom ice-cream that I got. Writing down my thoughts now 3 months later makes me want to order the corn dog and cardomon ice-cream again. Support local and visit Mason's Creamery today. They are closed on Monday's and Tuesday's. P.S. Now that it's winter, I'd love to return to try their winter offerings (ramen, pork dumplings, and Tonkotsu). I heard it's not the best ramen but maybe it's worth a try. **** GOAL of 150 reviews in 2024 - 130/150 total reviews in 2024 - 779 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 11 December 2024

Yelp
My favorite ice cream shop in CLE! Creative flavors you won't find anywhere else, a great neighborhood vibe, and those unbelievable Korean corn dogs! It's always worth a stop.

Yelp
Masons is one of the best ice cream stops in Cleveland!!! They have classic flavors but also REALLY unique flavors that are always so fun to try!! ... one of my favorites is the Ube flavored ice cream! (Ube is a yam native to the Philippines) it's naturally purple & the ice cream is purple!! They also offer many different treats like ice cream sandwiches, Korean corn dogs, banana bread splits, bubble waffle, ect!! I can't wait to come back and try even more flavors.... Plus fall is coming up and I can't wait to see what flavors they come up with!! Happy munching!!!

Yelp
Stopped for a sweet treat after a sour day. The staff was amazing, fun, knowledgable and very encouraging (note: not pictured was the veggie corndog I got - because I enhaled it as soon as I could and forgot to take a photo). Anywho, the space is very clean, great music, nice seating options, and the ice cream (and unseen veggie corndog) was delicious, and I'll absolutely return!
google avatar

Eric D.

Yelp
I love 'em ice cream. Who doesn't. This location has many options to choose from. Vegan options are available as well. I had a pleasant experience here. The staff was happy to answer my questions. And thanked me for coming in. I'll come back. Even though it's out of my way.

Brent B.

Yelp
I would a good solid ice cream place! A lot of people were there so must be popular!

Yelp
We came in the winter so they didn't have ice cream really on the menu. We were able to share a gingerbread sorbet though (I think it was sorbet?). It was pretty good! We wanted to they their ramen and the Korean corn dog. For the dog, I did half cheese and half dog with hot Cheeto dust. Not sure which ramen my friend chose. My friend really liked the ramen. It's not traditional but it does the job. I thought it was just okay. The Korean dog was alright. Not the best I've had. The batter could've been more flavorful. But it's not a bad option if you've never tried them before. The prices are pretty reasonable for what you're getting. It's a tiny place! Some seating inside and tons more seating outside. The indoor area was heated which was nice! I think a lot of people come to pick up but don't necessarily hang around. Parking is parallel. They don't have a parking lot, but it's easy to find parking around here. We'll come back for the ice cream in the summer!

Yelp
The food at masons is always awesome! We had the tonkatsu ramen, potstickers, and the scallion noodles! All were delicious. As always the staff are kind and helpful! Highly recommend!

Yelp
I love stopping by Mason's Creamery whenever I'm in the area. It's usually pretty busy, with a line out the door. However, on this Sunday afternoon there wasn't a line, which was nice. Their ice cream is always fresh and delicious and the bubble waffles are soooo good. I got the brie and strawberry jam ice cream, as well as Mexican chocolate in a bubble egg waffle. Both ice creams were delicious. While I figured that the Mexican chocolate would have a little spice, the kick was a little more than I expected, but it was still good. Service was friendly and they happily gave me two other samples before I made my decision. I love that they usually have adventurous flavors and I can't wait to return to try their Korean corn dogs.
google avatar

William P.

Yelp
The best ice cream I ever had. Staff is friendly and helpful. Very interesting flavors.

Gael R.

Yelp
One of the best ice cream spots in Cleveland. Great and creative flavors with new options often.
google avatar

Georgina W.

Yelp
This place has the most insane flavor selection I've ever tried. The ice cream I had here was incredible, and I got the bubble cone which added to the experience. There's always a line, so just expect that if you're coming here. Plenty of outside seating when the weather is nice and a great place to hang out with friends over some ice cream. It's a place in Cleveland and I have a great experience every time I go. Definitely somewhere to bring friends if they're visiting in town.
google avatar

Sarah H.

Yelp
So good! I love the unique flavors (I had Golden Milk and some sort of Persian flavor) and the bubble cones.
google avatar

Camille B.

Yelp
I've tried this place twice now. The first time I got a strawberry shake and it was pretty thin was missing the creamy factor. The second time was yesterday's I got a small (two scoops) chocolate Oreo.. I thought the portion size for "2 scoops" was kind of small and thought the flavor was just okay.
google avatar

Pauline L.

Yelp
Portion size is small and ice cream ok... I didn't leave saying omg I can't wait to come back. Love the concept of ice cream in the summer and ramen in the winter. Cute atmosphere and great location
google avatar

Yelp
We went to Mason's Creamery on the Sunday before the eclipse and got Eclipse Shakes. So fun! The place was busy, so it took us a while to get our treats, but the crowd was in a festive mood and the servers were hustling, so we didn't mind the wait at all. We were lucky enough to snag an inside table for the four of us, which provided for excellent people watching. The Eclipse Shake itself was worth the wait, as we knew it would be. All of Mason's ice cream treats are top notch. This novelty shake was lemon cream ice cream blended into a shake and topped with black-dyed vanilla whip cream. Nom nom nom! It turned our tongues black, but it was worth it!
google avatar

Liv G.

Yelp
Being a resident of the neighborhood, I normally adore Masons for their Korean corn dogs. I order one whenever I need a good walk destination. Today however, they lacked flavor entirely and felt a bit glue-y in the mouth. Get one, as sometimes they are life altering. Hope they add some salt to the batter or something.
google avatar

Kelli H.

Yelp
What's not to love about an ice cream shop that converts to a ramen shop in the winter? It's like the basketball court converting to the ice rink - a marvelous wonder. Outside of the changing food offerings, Mason's stands out for the unique flavors of ice cream and gets extra points for so often offering vegan and gluten free options. The real standout, for me at least, is being able to get a Korean corndog. They're so delicious. You can do half hot dog half mozzarella cheese stick too, which is wild and delightful. Expect a line while you wait to be served, but know that the line always moves really quickly. Part of that is due to the fact that you can only ask to try two flavors. This is always sad, but it does help keep the pace of the line moving. Once you have your ice cream, you'll head outdoors to eat at some of the picnic tables and chairs setup over their lot. The seating outside isn't the most comfortable, but it's only supposed to keep you until you're finished with your ice cream - which won't be long with how tasty it is.
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
best ice cream around! always new unique flavors to try. great vegan options, too! love the vegan peanut butter chocolate soft-serve twist with peanut butter whipped cream!
google avatar

Sara S.

Yelp
Their ice creams are simply delicious! Love their cookies and cream, such a classic but the taste is to die for! Also their service is great and love that you can just also sit outside and enjoy your sweet treat right there as well.
google avatar

Valerie G.

Yelp
Now we allll love Mason's for their ice cream. But we also love them for their ramen in the winter! This ice cream shop turns into a ramen shop in the winter and it's just as good as their ice cream! Offering veggie, pork or chicken ramen gives a little bit of variety for everyone. They also have vanilla ice cream available and daily pints for sale. They have a couple tables in the front, and a heated tent out back for additional seating. Definitely check it out, you will not regret it!
google avatar

Kelly T.

Yelp
This was some of the best ice-cream I've ever had! The cones are fresh & the prices were very reasonable!
google avatar

Marlena K.

Yelp
THIS VEGAN ICECREAM IS ITTTTTTT. The waffle cone is heavenly and just adds that extra oomffffff. The whole thing is delicious. I love the seasonal flavors. Service is awesome and they serve ramen!? Wild. Didn't try the ramen but pretty genius to stay busy in the winter time. Definitely a gem of a place. Indoor and outdoor seating, super cozy!!
google avatar

Pavel V.

Yelp
Mason's Creamery is a fantastic ice cream hidden gem. The flavors are always super unique and delicious. The employees will even spend time letting you try all the flavors even if there's a giant line. You can get the ice cream in the stand cup or cone but something special that they offer are waffles that they shape into a cone to eat from. I haven't even gotten to the best part. During the winter times they begin serving the best ramen you will probably taste. The not-so-good parts about this place are their hours are terrible, parking is a little tight, and there is a very small seating area in an enclosed porch, so it does get cold in there. I still overcome these barriers to come here, it's that good.
google avatar

Nikki T.

Yelp
I'm sorry to say this is a generous 3. I've had masons ice cream with friends in the past during summer time while they all raved about it. I was not so impressed so maybe it was the flavor I got. I've been wanting to try the winter time Ramen and thought that would also be a good time to try the ice-cream again. To my dismay there are like 2 or 3 options not even in the case to see or a few other options you can buy in pints during winter. Vanilla or orange sorbet just don't do it for me so I didn't get ice cream during my Ramen trip. A few Ramen options, potstickers and corn dogs. Definitely an interesting and fun idea. Ordered the pork Ramen spicy. My sister got the regular pork Ramen and her fiance got a corn dog. He like the corn dog and it was pretty big. The Ramen that I had hyped up in my mind and also by watching on Diner Drive ins and Dive was well just like the ice cream not that great. Nothing I'd ever go back for. I've had better Ramen elsewhere in cleveland. Not saying it's the worse just okay especially for $14. We did like the pot stickers and sauces they come with. Not trying to dis this place that is so many people's favorite as you can see in the reviews but the ice cream and Ramen just aren't it for me and I can't recommend. A 3 instead of the 2.5 id give if i could. Maybe it's me since everyone else seems to like this place. I'd pass and the others I made go with me would as well.
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Such a cute place for a summer night, they are outdoor seating only. The line is always long but moves quickly and the ice cream is always good!
google avatar

Yelp
An excellent neighborhood hang and treat for the experimental ice cream enthusiast. I came here several times during a 10-day stay in Ohio City, and having an awesome, dog-friendly sweet treat to enjoy in the summer heat really hit the spot for me and quickly became a favorite afternoon hang. They have practically a new menu every day, with a lot of flavors with Asian influence (Thai Tea, Ube, Coconut Pandan Cake) and some darn interesting flavors (Graham cracker, Cardamom, French Toast, Marzipan). The specialty here and a must order at least once is the bubble waffle, which comes made fresh to order (warm!) with two scoops of your choice of ice cream and a dollop of your choice flavor homemade whipped cream. The peanut butter whipped cream (if you're not nut-averse) is DIVINE. They also have made-to-order churros, homemade waffle cones, ice cream sandwiches, soft serve, authentic Korean dogs (during the summer, during other months I believe it's Ramen). Lots of vegan and gluten-free flavors here as well, so bring all your dietary restriction friends for a fun treat. My personal favorite ended up being a simple single scoop of marzipan in the homemade waffle cone -- so good that my two year old nephew stole mine and finished it himself! This place always seems to have people hanging out and enjoying a sweet treat when I pass it, and it's so nice to see a true neighborhood hang!

Yelp
When I found this spot on Yelp, I knew we had to try it. My husband and I love bubble waffles and unique ice cream flavors and this spot delivered. My husband and I got a Bubble Waffle with Black Sesame/Ube Ice Cream and Marzipan Whipped Cream. I loved all of it. I've never seen a place that makes flavored whipped cream before. It was delicious. I'd highly recommend checking out this ice cream shop.

Yelp
Best ice cream I've ever had. Oat meal raisin cookies and cream. Unbelievable I would get it every day.
google avatar

Michele B.

Yelp
Masons is worth the hype. Simply put. I tried the raspberry jam sorbet and it was so flavorful. Fruity, slightly tart. Perfectly smooth and delicious. Husband loved his too The line was long, but moved pretty quickly. They were friendly and efficient. Prices fair. Can't wait to go back!

Randy W.

Yelp
Ice cream was fantastic! So nice that have such delicious vegan options also! The staff was very kind and offered free samples.
google avatar

Christina P.

Yelp
Did you know they served Korean corn dogs? Because I did not. This is not a corn dog review but it's worth mentioning because they are trendy and, to my knowledge, Mason's is the only one doing them in Cleveland thus far. This is a review of the ice cream. Do you want interesting flavors? If so this is your place! To be honest I'm not sure how often they change the flavors but they're always innovative. I've had the black sesame but this time I got a small two scoop - malted chocolate and tahitian(...something). Yes I know these don't go together, we're not here to judge my pairing choices. The chocolate was malted and the tahitian flavor tasted like fruit punch (the person ringing me out wa definitely right when describing the flavor). The ice cream was great and it's getting g hot, why aren't you there every week??

Yelp
Mason's Creamery is such a cute spot! Friendly and fast service, that lets you sample the ice cream flavors. I got the all beef Korean Corn Dog, it was okay. Next time, I'd def try the hot cheetos dip. The vegan peanut butter orea was delicious, and I'm not even vegan! They kindly have a water tower for yourself or your dog to get a cold drink.

Yelp
Cute destination in a neighborhood just west of Ohio City. On a Thursday afternoon the small walk-in building was busy. Cold choices ranged from unusual flavors of ice cream, vegan made with oat milk, and sorbets. I tried for kicks the root beer vegan soft serve ice cream in a cup. It was creamy and delicious. Highly recommend. The colors of the ice cream, especially the berry flavors, were vivid colors. So pretty. When in the area get off the main streets and wander into the neighborhood to try Mason's.

Yelp
I went to Mason's for the first time this week to try their Korean corn dog and ice cream, and felt that I had a good time. I think the best thing about Mason's is the customer service. All of the employees were super friendly and helpful, especially after I told them it was my first time there. I got many recommendations for both my corn dog and my ice cream, and was able to try several of the ice cream flavors - I would literally go back just because everyone there was so nice and patient. I thought the ice cream selection was weaker when I went. I don't fault Mason's for this, but I would advise that you check their Instagram before making the trip to see the flavors beforehand since they rotate frequently. I ended up getting black sesame and chocolate butterfinger. It was good, but because very few flavors were super appealing to me, I felt I didn't get a true Mason's experience with my relatively safe and not-interesting combination. This was my first time having a Korean style corn dog and I thought that it was fun. My friend got a half cheese corn dog and I got a regular all beef corn dog and we really enjoyed them. We got them with panko and tried with ketchup, mustard, gochujang marinara, and buldak yum yum. The yum yum was good but I don't feel like it added too much. To my surprise I really enjoyed the gochujang marinara. If I ever got another craving for a Korean corn dog I would get one with the marinara, along with ketchup and mustard. If you've never had Mason's before, I would say it is worth a visit. They have unique flavors and it is overall a fun experience.
