This was one of our biggest highlights in Spokane. The ambience was great, service was impeccable from Cody & Dusty. The star was their food. The perfect butter and bread for our mussels, which were so flavorful. My wife had the Huckleberry Salmon, which she stated was the best cooked salmon of her life and we grew up in the PNW. They nailed that fish, including the perfect Jackson Pollock plating of the food. The rack of lamb with mustard cream was divine. I've never had lamb chips that tender and perfectly cooked. I was blown away at the execution of the food. It ranks up their as one of our top restaurants of all time. Well done. We elwent back another day for their breakfast here and it was also incredible. The burrito was massive, but that crab omelet with hollandaise sauce was the best. Their specialty coffee was so delicious as well.

Google
Five stars for our Sunday morning brunch at Masselow's today! The service was impeccable, and the brunch menu was impressive with something for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed the pork belly hash, as well as sage biscuits and gravy. The cajun chicken and waffle was my fave, with its light perfect texture paired with chicken and candied pecans, To top it off, we enjoyed espresso drinks seved from Thomas Hammer which our excellent server brought to our table.

The food was sublime, the service was personalized and exquisite. Our server, Ashley, was knowledgeable and kind and prompt. The wine was outstanding, oysters, perfect, steak perfectly cooked.

Great place for a fancy bite to eat! Steak bites fries were a hit as well as the salad options! Enjoyed our quiet meal! Friendly staff with quick service. Located right in the casino!

Stopped in for a nice steak dinner and wasn't disappointed. Service was great and so was the steak.. Had the ribeye medium rare and it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Absolutely wonderful

Google
Outstanding evening at Masselow's for special dinner. Cory was our server and made the evening even more special with his attention to details and award winning personality. We started with the complementary bread and a roasted fennel salad and crab cakes. Both were excellent. I had the lobster tail with creamy risotto and roasted vegies, my husband had the pork chop again both were excellent. For dessert we had the 3 scoops of house made ice cream..... so good !

Google
I have done dinner here before, and it wasn't my favorite. But, I was excited to try breakfast and coffee. I ordered the French press and cannot believe what I was served. It was some of the best coffee I have ever had. The tableside service and presentation was amazing. I did the eggs and toast with chicken sausage and it was all very good. I loved the butter that was offered for the toast, the tangerine butter was tasty. Great service, I will definitely be back.

Google
We had a great time at Masselow's Steakhouse. The service was terrific. The atmosphere was intermittent. My steak was cooked to perfection. The woodford old fashion was on point. It is possible that I would go to Masselow's just for the bread. There was an issue with my guest's swordfish. However, it was taken care of quickly and professionally. If you are looking for a new location for a romantic dinner; I would highly recommend Masselow's.

Yelp
Modern decor with a note of Native American history. We were able to get a table immediately and they accepted our less than luxurious attire. Between the 4 of us we shared an appetizer, a salad, two filet mignon and 2 desserts and still took food back to our room. Here's what we thought of the food and sauces. Complimentary Bread and Butter - 8 - Thick and crisp crust but soft bread. Salted butter was a great addition to an otherwise plain bread. Steak Bites - 10 The Gorgonzola sauce was drinkable, steak was tender and the fries were decent. Filet Mignon - 9 - Perfect crust and seasoning but slightly overcooked. - SAUCES - Béarnaise* - 8 Buttery with a hint of lemon Chimichurri - 10 - Love the spice added to a classic Brandy Peppercorn Demi-Glace - 6 Burnt flavor but rich Jalapeño Demi-Glace - 7 Very little Jalapeno flavor but not burnt like the other Demi-Glacé Mushroom Marsala Demi-Glace -10 Wow, so good Horseradish Dijon Aioli - 4 Mayo forward and very little horseradish - DESSERT - Strawberry Ice Cream - 6- decent but has other flavor notes than strawberry Divinity Cake - 10 - We don't like cake but this had the passion fruit sauce along with all of the other powerful flavors was quite the experience! Great steakhouse to visit for a steak. 20% Service Charge will be applied automatically. Military discount is available!!!

Yelp
My bro and I went here last night for the free bread and water and dang this free bread and water is goated! The service was impeccable and the ambiance is very romantic! We would have totally bro'ed out but our wives were there too, they got the fish, it looked really good but we couldn't afford it.. 5 stars! Take your wife here, she will love the food while you fill up on bread and water!

Yelp
Had an early morning flight so came up early and had a great dinner. Our server recommended the Candied Pork Belly and Meatloaf to start, and we had the bread service. The Pork Belly was crispy and tender and the Meatlaod came as meatballs and was just like grandma made. The bread service was table side and came with 3 different salts to try with different types of bread. All were great. For mains, I had the Filet Mignon, which came with fresh asparagus and mashed potatoes, and my dad had the Double-Cut Prok Chop, which came with carrots and quinoa. My steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare, and my dad's pork chop was perfect as well. We finished with the Espresso Chili Tort. It was a flourless chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache. It was divine! It was a great meal, but what made it so amazing was the staff. The staff was attentive and didn't make us feel rushed and made us feel at home. Would recommend Masselow's Steakhouse to anyone looking for a great meal!

Yelp
My siblings and I brought our father to Masselow's Steakhouse to celebrate his 80th birthday. The establishment is pretty big with plenty of tables so I don't imagine securing a table would take much time. There were 5 of us on the reservation and ordered a multitude of items off the menu: salmon, filet mignon, ribeye, prawns, asparagus, salads, creme brûlée, chocolate espresso torte, beignets, wine, and a cocktail. My dish (the filet mignon) was absolutely mouthwatering, I swear the meat melted in my mouth- it was delicious! My sisters had the salmon and enjoyed the taste but felt they could have received a larger piece of fish. Overall the food was really tasty, but be prepared to spend some money! After cost of the food and drinks, taxes, and the automatically included 20% gratuity, our bill for 5 was over $600. I would come back because the food was that delicious, but it would have to be for a celebration since it's on the pricier side.

Yelp
They open for breakfast so we decided to try it. The hostess had not arrived so the servers were helping out with the seating. Lovely Atmosphere and great service. The eggs were buttery and delicious. Good choice!

Yelp
Very mediocre, and unimpressive. First, a 20% service fee is added, which in our case was near $100. This was not pointed out to us but ethically should have been. Otherwise it seems like the staff is out to get an accidental 40% tip. We spent 30-45 min without a check-in before our entrees came out. My small sea bass was prepared very well but the black rice didn't have a bit of salt or seasoning, completely bland. And the pesto sauce was equally bland. The food was brought out warm-ish. For these prices and an added "service fee" for 4 people, you expect true excellence. We did not receive it. The second star is for our server's warm nature and flavor of the meat/fish. For special occasions we will go back to our normal Spencer's or try out Churchill's.

Yelp
Went to Maslow's for Restaurant Week! Never been there before and was sooooo disappointed. First we told the hostess we had reservations so they sat us in the actual restaurant. Had a great waiter that served us water right away. Then he found out we were there for Restaurant Week and said we were in the wrong place. Said we had to sit in the bar which was right in the middle of the entry way with lots of people walking through. There were no actual tables, we sat at a bar table. Never got offered any water or anything. Waiter was nice, though. Got soup for the appetizer and so did someone else in our group. It was ok but it was luke warm. I can't eat barely-warm soup, company's was cold too. Then we got our entree's. I got Beef Bourguignon, and it was cold too!!!! Yuck! And it wasn't very good. What a waste of $45.00. I will never go there again and I will tell other people the same. I know they have a good reputation, but if they don't really want to participate in Restaurant Week, then don't!!!! I have never been made to feel like a SECOND CLASS person until I went to Maslow's. If all of the restaurant's that participate in Restaurant Week treat their customer's like Maslow's does I will never participate.

Yelp
Reviewing LOUNGE attached to restaurant. Different menu. The service here is old school. JD is fantastic. If I had a bar I would steal him for sure. Bartenders "off the chain" Made me a smoked Manhattan & poured me and my friend a Louis XIII neat and mine on a large rock of Gibraltar! $800 later Kudos to my man JD & his wingman Jordan DiShaun they ran the lounge (busy as anything) like an maestro of a big ass fancy orchestra. BRILLIANT. OH! The food... the food. Ordered NY steak app & caviar nachos. Tie me up and slap me John Wayne.
google avatar

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
Very disappointing. Had a rez but ate in the bar instead thinking it would be the same quality. Wasnt! Everything was very salty. NY STEAK was not that great. SERVICE WAS GOOD.

Yelp
Northern Quest 5-star meal at this wonderful steakhouse! Excellent food, excellent service, excellent pricing, and excellent atmosphere for romantic dining. Cory was are server, and want everyone to know he did a fantastic job! He made our dining experience a memorable one!

Yelp
The staff was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was perfect for a special occasion like a birthday. We had the most amazing time here and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Spokane. The menu offers something for everyone - from classic American fare to more unique dishes, there's something to please even the pickiest eaters.
google avatar

Yelp
Ate here a couple times, not impressed. Very mediocre for the pricing. What really gets my goat is that I was told by staff numerous times that this restaurant has a Michelin star, which is a blatant lie Qdoba and FatBurger have better food than this place, don't waste your money on subpar "fine dining"
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely horrible experience. Our "server" was some red head named Rachel. As soon as she arrived to our table she proceeded to flirt with my husband. It was absolutely disgusting especially as we told her that we were there to celebrate our anniversary. When she came back with our order, mine was incorrect. I told her and she condescendingly told me that I was the one who was incorrect and that what she was giving me was what I had ordered. She refused to take it back and laughed off my visible irritation that what she brought wasn't what I ordered. I expected a lot more from this place but it's very clear they don't train or hire quality servers. Rachel lacked manners, basic common sense, and couldn't even get our order correct. I should have been firmer asking for her to correct my order but the way that she spoke to me showed it was clear that she did not care about her job or service.

Yelp
Definitely 5 stars I would give it more if I could. Amazing food extremely impressed with the staff. They are very knowledgeable about the food and pairings. I didn't wanna write a review till I've had dinner here but it was amazing probably one of the better steak houses in Spokane! You can also use your canvas card and get $20 off your dinner. I think you get one monthly. So which is better dinner or breakfast? There should be a easy pic unfortunately it's not they were both amazing the pancakes the French press giant egg white omelette. Dinner was melt in your mouth delicious. Yummy German wine to pair. As far as reservations go I definitely recommend using the app OpenTable

Yelp
Awesomeness me place. Awesome food. Awesome service. Excellent steakhouse. Love this place.

Yelp
I came here for a Specialty dinner. The service was excellent and the ambiance was wonderfull. The dinner was both a unique and creative delectable experience. Truly one of a kind!

Kris P.

Yelp
Great service, outstanding food. You are gonna pay a bit, but for a special treat, I'd come again.
google avatar

Scott I.

Yelp
We were there to celebrate an occasion. The service was good and most the food was delicious too. The only meal that wasn't great was the salmon. The cost for the meal was way over priced. They could drop their prices at least 1/4. Also the 20% service fee is a little ridiculous, considering our meal was over $800. Did they give $160+ worth of service?
google avatar

Leigh H.

Yelp
The service was fast and attentive without being intrusive. The food was excellent. Cooked perfectly and visually very appealing as presented. Portion sizes were generous. Every second of the experience was better than expected. Our server, Nadia, could not have been more pleasant and went out of her way to make our visit enjoyable. I highly recommend Masselow's. It's absolutely fantastic.

Clarisa C.

Yelp
Love the rib eye served. Best rib eye I ve ever have. We have dinner and the service was great! Rib eye was well done and veggies super!

Yelp
Came here last weekend for my husbands birthday dinner. We had reservations & first time here. The service, food, atmosphere- all of it was phenomenal. We loved every single second. I had the huckleberry lemon drop first and it was one of the best cocktails I've had. We did their 3 course option. Every single item was delicious. We will be back again.

Yelp
We came for a private dinner for a friends birthday and were very well taken care of. Our server, Kyle was attentive, funny and really did a great job serving us. There were no mistakes and with that many of us, it is appreciated. We are a weird bunch. I mean we went around the table and said our favorite things about the birthday girl and then she went around the table and told us all of her favorite things about each one of us. Very sentimental and took a ton of time. The servers were patient with that fact as we could not order whilst we were in our feelings. The ambiance is way fancier than I am that is for sure. I looked at the menu and was completely shocked at the prices for a casino restaurant. I could never spend the amount of money on steak like that. I am just being honest. I do prefer to splurge so a friend of mine and I shared the half chicken. We ordered cider and it was tasty. The half chicken came out and i was honestly not that impressed. The berry sauce was super delicious, but the chicken was definitely dry and overcooked, and the sauteed spinach was oily and salty and I really really thought the mashed potatoes were instant. I could be very wrong but it was not something I would have paid $40 for and splitting it made it better but both of us had the same reactions. We are very good home cooks and I just felt I could have had something very similar at home. I tried my friends steak and it just wasn't that impressive. I see so many good reviews on here and I commend the restaurant for their service and the fancy atmosphere, but not my favorite place for food.
google avatar

Craig M.

Yelp
High Prices for Sad Mediocrity Definitely not a meal or experience worth the money we paid. Salad was good, nothing special. The bread was good, nothing special. The steaks were good but the vegetables were way too salty and ruined our tastebuds' ability to enjoy anything following. Overall, this place has nothing on Applebee's. Service was good. The kitchen did not bring a meal that I would ever want to come back to try again. Tired and unexceptional.
google avatar

Christine S.

Yelp
I stayed at the Northern Quest for a friend's bachelorette weekend. We had breakfast here twice because it was so delicious! Fresh homemade bread, made in house butters and jams. Foods from local sources. You have to get the classic breakfast to enjoy the gourmet meal you're to receive. The difference between my last visit and my most recent is they stopped including fruit on the plate.
google avatar

Sarah J.

Yelp
You must eat here! Masselow's has finally reopened after shutting down during COVID-19 and goodness have they come back stronger than ever! The masterpieces that Masselow's Chief has created were pure art. I went in a party of 4 and we all vowed to order different items to insure we'd get to experience it all. On top of their incredible new menu, the service that our server Cory and his serving assistant Shauna executed truly made us feel oh so special. The whole night can only be compared to the dinner scene in Beauty and the Beast during the song Be Our Guest. "A dinner here is never second best" should be Masselow's new tagline.
google avatar

Natasha O.

Yelp
We had an amazing time at Masselows! Our server Dan made it such an enjoyable experience. He alone made it worth going! I had the filet, my husband had the bison. Cooked to perfection. Garlic and mushroom risotto was so creamy and delicious. The wine selection isnt much for a restaurant like this, but omg the food! It is pricey, but if you are looking for a nice place to go this is it.

Shelley L.

Yelp
I took my husband here for his birthday hoping for the great experience we had here in the years prior to Covid. The apps were great, dinner salads ok, but my husbands seafood pasta was mediocre. They used bay shrimp as the "shrimp" and only 3 muscles were included. The sauce was also very bland and the pasta used was egg noodles. This was a 44 dollar dish. We were going to let it go as we were trying to make it a nice birthday dinner but when we got the bill we were shocked to see a 42 dollar service fee (20 percent of the bill. I asked what this charge was for and was told it was to give gratuities for the hostess, busser, cooks etc. Had I not noticed it I would have paid another 20 percent for a total of a 40 percent gratuity! For a mediocre experience this is insane! We will not be coming back to Masselows again. Shame on the casino for taking advantage of their guests. Has we not noticed it and asked it would not have been pointed out to us.

Yelp
Everyone told us it was one of the best steak houses in the area. Expensive but worth it. Well... sometimes you need to treat yourself. And that's what we did! Its Saturday night. We made reservations. Arrived on time. The restaurant is is dark wood with white table cloths and wonderful pictures of tribal sketches. Low lighting makes it romantic. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. Appetizers of crab cake with 2 sauces plated beautifully. The taste was best I've had in this area. My spouse had the raw oysters served on a bed of rock salt with 2 sauces. Fresh and full of flavor. Main course was the 6 ounce filet mignon with mashed potato, spinach and carrot beautifully plated. The steak was a perfect medium rare. No dessert because they also served a basket of 3 types of bread with 3 different butters: sweet tangerine, cracked pepper and regular butter. All were exceptional. With wine included and a real nice tip, our bill was $186 for 2 people. It was worth every cent. Like they say, you get what you pay for. Awesome!!

Justin F.

Yelp
I was alone on thanksgiving for the first time and just a longshot I decided to go to masselows and I've been to one million different restraints and I have never had a more unique experience with Erin that has been so unique I would come back to get service from her any day

Yelp
This is the best steakhouse in the Spokane area, they have amazing food and great service.

Yelp
March 2021. Reservation process was easy, I was lucky because I was a "walk in". As of March 2021 they have pre fix meals. 3 course or 4 course. Ambiance is nice, that of a steakhouse/ wine cellar. Dark. Spot lighting on your table. This initial score is going to be average because I went out of my comfort zone and ordered thing I wouldn't have. Caviar egg sandwich. Tasted like an egg sandwich but fancy because of the caviar. Nice and light. Maybe I'm not well versed in lux ingredients like caviar, but I'm not sure if I would order again. Duck confit salad. So good. Have you ever had chicken adobo? Same flavor profile. (Again our of my comfort zone, so it was different) Filet mignon. Awesome. Good seasoning. Def would order again. Pineapple flambé. Awesome! Def would order again. I pretty sure I'll eat here again. (I need to come for my go to's.) stuff like Caesar salad, chocolate dessert, stuff like that.

Yelp
My husband and I went to Masselow's for Valentine's Day dinner. The setting was very elegant, there was live music playing and the staff was very helpful in helping me to understand the menu and very polite as well. My husband and I both got steak, he got the ribeye and I got a Fillet mignon. Cooked to perfection! We enjoyed every bit of our experience there! Definitely a once in a lifetime experience if you haven't gone, just be prepared to spend a little more here than the average dinner.
google avatar

Jeff K.

Yelp
This was once a favorite of ours, for wine makers dinners, other special dinners, and just for a good meal when we stayed at the resort. Ever since the pandemic it's gone way, way downhill. Limited price fix menu, no more breakfast. Really disappointed how bad this restaurant has slipped. It was one of the reasons we enjoyed shows, and we often booked a room to stay over after wine makers dinners or other special dinners. I think we're probably done going to the Northern Quest Resort at all.
google avatar

Sally H.

Yelp
Phenomenal. This place only needs one word to describe it! Service, food and atmosphere was absolutely phenomenal. If you're looking for a place that gives you the full food experience, Masselow's is definitely it! Highly recommend!
google avatar

Doug H.

Yelp
Don't be fooled by the fact that this is a casino restaurant! Had the four course and it was amazing! Started with meatloaf, followed by a Caesar salad , then Bison steak and bread pudding. This was an experience in dining start to finish from the walk though the door, to the salad and bread service through the dessert! The Chef needs to be commended as does the staff! The service and overall vibe is amazing!! Do yourself a favor, get some reservations here, partake at the great bars and spend the night to chill! Amazing experience, close to home!!
google avatar

Steph A.

Yelp
Great service and food but for the price this is lacking ambiance. It's lacking a view and character. We had three filet meals that were tender and we were pleased with our meals.
google avatar

Pau A.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious chicken and waffles with sugared pecans and pecan glaze. Delicious fruits and scrambled eggs included as well. Classic breakfast was amazing as well with powdered sugar pancakes with butter and maple syrup with scrambled eggs and Canadian bacon. Our server was the best and super courteous and friendly. Romantic and spacious ambiance inside. We will definitely return again and again.

Tyna R.

Yelp
As a life long vegetarian, I have been to many family dinners at restaurants that were not geared toward vegetarians (steakhouses, seafood, etc), and this was the first time I haven't walked away feeling disappointed. Very good flavors, textures, and service! Our party included the added challenge of small kids and everyone was very accomodating and lovely. Worth every penny!

Patrick M.

Yelp
Good location but nothing special. Churchills (in particular) and Spencer's are much better. Clinkerdagers has better views and more options. Not bad, just meh. If you are in Spokane and looking for a nice steak dinner Churchills is night and day better for the same money. Staff was great.

Angela W.

Yelp
I am giving this two stars, because our server was fantastic. His name is Corey and he was beyond amazing. Keeping that in mind, I'll be courteous in my review. I have dined here 4 or 5 times before this and was blown away by the food. Every time that I left I was satisfied and extraordinary pleased. My visit this evening was subpar. The food was just ok. Nothing special. My steak was overdone. I ordered it medium, it came out medium-well. The salad was ok, not bad. Their tangerine butter tastes different. The bread selection changed. I'm not sure why they made these changes or when. For the money that is spent, I expect more. The food has definitely gone downhill.

Jackson B.

Yelp
Tasted good and made my tummy rumble with yummy dreams of fluffy white cows staring at the handle of a bolt gun prepared to take all their problems away
google avatar

Lynette V.

Yelp
Ambiance n music was fine. Service was great. Food was awful. Chicken picatta and the spaezle were so horribly salty, could only eat small portion. House salad was literally drenched in vinaigrette inedible as well. My friend's filet mignon was also extremely salty, He loves salty things, but was also put off by the amount used and didn't finish his either. Will not be eating here ever again, and will tell friends n fam to avoid as well.
google avatar

Richard A.

Yelp
"Jack Sprat could eat no fat..." I hate fat! I love a juicy Quality Sirloin steak. Unfortunately, my wife is totally satisfied and I (Jack Sprat) feel alienated by your menu. I'm a pensioner and have an appetite for more than a small Tenderloin. Your Breakfast menu is to DIE FOR, but we tried your steaks and...

Yelp
5 All the way!!! OMG, beyond impressed with the service we received by Cory. He was so knowledgeable, so caring, gave us 100% of his attention and charming! Thank you Chef Tanya for such an amazing menu, The food blew my taste buds away! Can't wait to come back & bring friends.

Yelp
Had a nice business dinner here. Very nice ambiance and the service was folksy and friendly. The appetizer menu was a little heavy on meaty things and as I had some vegaterians in my group and there wasn't much for them. However, the meat plates and the oysters were very good. My steak was tasty as well and the buttery mashed potatoes were terrific. Also very nice was the huckleberry pie. I really enjoyed that. The only real downside was that the dinner took three hours. I know that with a party of 8 it will take longer but sitting there for three hours drove me nuts. Shorter time between the courses would have helped tremendously. It is still worth going, although the prices are on par with a New York restaurant.
