Masseria della Volpe (Noto, Sicily) 5 Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The Province of Syracuse doesn’t need much to improve on its native panoramic grandeur: a few plates of fresh eats, room to walk around, something hearty to decant, and the silence in which to contemplate it all. A restored 19th-century manor farm sums those right up, if we do say so ourselves, and Masseria della Volpe fits the bill nicely. Set on a verdant, rambly patch of earth just southeast of Rosolini, it’s a fine example of la dolce vita Siciliana; with vineyard-bearing, weathered limestone hills in one direction and the untroubled Ionian Sea glinting in the other, it’s close to the dictionary definition." - Tablet Hotels

We had an overall very relaxing holiday. A special thanks to the amazing Roberta and Sebastiano for their wonderful massages. We felt truly cared for and appreciated their dedication immensely. We would definitely recommend booking several treatments, as each massage offered a very different but equally wonderful experience. The rooms varied quite a bit. We originally booked a junior suite because we wanted a terrace and more space, but it felt rather small, and the terrace lacked details such as plants, lighting, or sun cover. We then moved to another room with an absolutely stunning terrace, which we loved very much. The restaurant was fine overall – the food was decent, though not exceptional, and at times it felt a bit odd or careless. Service quality also varied: most of the staff were super friendly and accommodating, thanks go especially to Sebastian and Pepino, while a few came across as rather stuck-up and a bit disengaged. All in all, it was a lovely experience, and we would happily come back. Warmest wishes, Hannah & Steffi

If you’re looking for a place to stay in Sicily, stop here. This is the one. My grandfather was from Sicily and always carried immense pride in his homeland. After staying at Masseria della Volpe, I finally understand why.||The property reflects a deep connection to the surrounding land and culture. Olive trees, fig trees, citrus groves, and carob all flourish here. It felt like a microcosm of southern Sicily and the agricultural richness that defines the region.||The restaurant is truly one of the highlights. When we think of Italy, we think of food, and the dining experience here lived up to every expectation. The dishes were delicious, and you have to try the olive oil and gin, both made from ingredients grown on the property itself.||The staff made the stay even more special. They were warm, kind, funny, and attentive, striking the perfect balance of professionalism and personality. Their high standard of service made everything feel easy and comfortable.||Another advantage is the location. From the masseria, it’s an easy drive to some of Sicily’s most beautiful, history-rich towns, including Siracusa and Noto, as well as plenty of stunning beaches.||Masseria della Volpe is more than just a place to stay. It’s an immersion into the beauty, hospitality, and culture of southern Sicily. There’s a meticulous attention to detail throughout and a harmony of design and hospitality that could only come from owners who care deeply about what they’ve created. I already can't wait to come back.

Fantastic domain! Great swimmingpool. Beware the jacuzzi is part of the spa, so if you go into the jacuzzi you need to pay a day spa. We had a beautiful ground floor room, but you do not have a window to look outside, the door with glass has view on the courtyard but ofcourse other people use the courtyard to walk to their room, so a room on an upper floor will probably give you a more enjoyable view. The staff at Masseria Della Volpe is truly amazing, they do everything possible to accomodate you. I certainly recommend to eat at the restaurant - great food, good bread - my personal favourites were : tra terra & mare, la norma, raviolini della nonna, tataky di tonno. Some dishes are not so light, such as the lasagna of the house or beef wellington, perfect for my husband but I prefer a lighter dish. ||Breakfast in the morning is very enjoyable, especially if you can eat outside on the terrace with such a nice view. One thing could be improved: the bread and the crusty bread rolls. I put the bread in the toaster which made it ok, but the bread rolls really need some improvement, especially if you compare those to the bread that is served in the evening which is soo much better. Other than that I have no negative comments.||It is a great place to discover the surroundings of Noto, Raguse Ibla and Syracuse and a fantastic place to relax at the pool afterwards.

Our family of six spent four unforgettable nights at Masseria Della Volpe, and it was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled in the beautiful Sicilian countryside, this property is the perfect mix of relaxed luxury, warm hospitality, and exceptional service.||The rooms were spotless and modern—everything was immaculately clean and thoughtfully maintained. The pool and dining areas are absolutely gorgeous, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere.||The food was a true highlight. Every meal was fresh, seasonal, and absolutely delicious, with fantastic attention to detail. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our family felt at home!||We loved the experience so much that we even purchased their house-made olive oil and room diffusers to bring a little bit of Masseria Della Volpe back home with us. Everything about the property reflects their deep care for quality and authenticity.||We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend time together and explore the region!

Always terrific. Beautiful location, excellent staff and attention, magnificent pool and very interesting area to explore. Close to SE sandy beaches and rock cove swimming, the Sicilian Baroque towns with their superb architecture, foodie paradise and not crowded.

Masseria Della Volpe was the highlight of our Sicily trip. The grounds are gorgeous, the pool is stunning, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. We especially loved the on-site restaurant, Codarossa…delicious food in a beautiful setting. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, going above and beyond when we had a flat tire. What could have been a stressful day turned into a smooth, easy experience thanks to their amazing support. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent Masseria. Great property with superb garden. Rooms and common areas well designed.Only downside is that rooms facing court side are very dark with little natural light
